| said: We arrived at 4.00 am in the morning and were the only people checking in. The man on reception gave us our key and told us we were in block A of the appartments which we had to find ourselves in the dark, with luggage 2 children and a buggy so it was a bit difficult. The one bedroom appartment was spotless and the kitchen facilities ok, however no instructions provided on using the hob which was touch sensitive so had to work it out for ourselves !!!. The maid came every second day and changed the towels although I doubt the sheets were changed in the 10 days we stayed there. The hotel public areas were spotless although we were very rarely in the hotel. However we were at the front above bar BN3 so it was very noisy at night up until about 1.30 am then when the clubbers came back at 5am it could be a little noisy again, nothing too bad but I think we were lucky as you could have had a lot of noise if the young people round about your appartments were real party animals. The windows were not double glazed and did not fit the frames so the noise could not be shut out. No air conditioning so the appartments were very hot. I dont think I would stay in these appartments again as I feel familys are definitly in the minority now and did not have a family atmosphere about them. Did not use the pool as we found a quiet pool across the road part of the vista al puerta appartments very chilled and relaxed and family orientated.

No insructins on how to work cooker so useless
if you go with a baby you have to hire cot.
you have to hire everything even airconditioning so rooms boiling.
very noisy apparments lots of noise from bar bn3 & teenagers coming home from clubs and playing football in early hours of the morning. these appartments are in the ads as family appartments but in reality are full of teenagers. hotel is very clean however we where on ground floor & maid left window open 2 so peaple could climb in & nic things would not go back to hotel again

| said: This is our 3rd year at this hotel and have booked again for next year. The standards have dropped slightly but not greatly. Very welcoming and friendly staff, it was my daughters birthday when we were there and the made her a cake what a nice surprise. The food is very repetative but there is always something you can eat, breakfast can get boring same everyday for 14 days gets a bit much though. The location is perfect, a ferry takes you to San Antonio if you like shopping but there is all you need at hand.

| said: This was our first time at the Riviera. We arrived back on Saturday and are both feeling very sad to be back home.
The rooms were cleaned everyday and we had clean towels each day also. The shower in the bathroom was a bit small but it was fine for us. We had a lovely view overlooking both the pool and the sea.
The food was okay, nothing to shout about too much though. Breakfast was served between 8-10 so sometimes we were not up in time to get any. Dinner was okay, lots of fish and salad but not much for kids to choose from really. Drinks are not included with the dinner and a bootle of water cost €1.80.
The location was fine for us, we got the water taxi from the beach to san antonio town which leaves every half hour untill midnight, this cost €2.50 each and taxi's back after 12 were about €8. The hotel is next to the BN3 bar which is one of the pre-party bars but the music outside was turned off at midnight due to the local laws. There was plenty of bars and restaurants around the hotel.
The hotel staff were very friendly and always were happy to help.
Sumo is the hotel's entertainer who does bingo and quizes every night. There was a parott show, kids disco and a hypnotist there during our stay. Not much entertainment durning the day for adults but i was more than happy spending the time by the pools. There were plenty of sunbeds so there was no need to reserve one before breakfast!
I would love to go back to this hotel but I would take more money next time as I found the resort to be very expensive.
We both had a lovely time

| said: Just Returned from the Riviera in Ibiza with my boyfriend this morning and loved it!
The Hotel has 2 great swimming pool's, the hotel its self is very very clean and all the staff are great.
The hotel is based just about a mile out of the main town but you can either get a ferry from the local beach for 2 Euros, or a cab for about 5 Euros.
We were expecting a basic room and got a suite which was massive, we had 2 bathrooms and balconies between us.
Overall i would recommend this hotel to anyone of any age and we will be defo returning again.
I hope this review helps.

| said: If you go to this hotel with children under 12, then you will enjoy the entertainment, otherwise, look for it elsewhere like we had to, unless you like to play musical chairs in your 60`s!!!!
try not to get room 101, as it is next to the stairs, and very noisy indeed.
The food is quite good, but lots of chips, and very greasy, with the same choice for breakfast every single day.
The hotel is very clean indeed, maids in every day.
We suggest this hotel with Thomas Cook be for families only.

I didn't really like the food because I'm a picky eater.
The location was alright but we found a nicer beach near San Antonio town.
The bar staff were really friendly especially Tony the waiter.
The entertainment was amazing I liked Toni-lee and Deano but I liked Toni more because she was a girl. Thanks for the great nights down in Millennium.
I would definitely come back to this hotel especially to see Toni and Dean they made my holiday.
All round fantastic holiday! I would definitely recommend this hotel to families teenagers and children will enjoy it and I know because I'm 12

| said: The food was really nice with a good selection for the both breakfast and evening meal. The only problem being one toaster at peak times people had to queue.
The hotel room was cleaned and beds made on a daily basis, towels were changed every other day, the maids were very friendly and cheerful.
The location of the hotel is ideal. The beach is just across the road and the West End 10 mins away. There is a boat running every 30mins to the West End for 2 euros per person - a great way to travel. There are plenty restaurants and shops right next to the hotel
The hotel Staff are very friendly and always joking, the kids loved the free lollies. The adults liked the free odd drink too. The staff work really long hours but are always smiling. The bar will stay open as long as there was someone drinking.
This is the second time we have visited the hotel and the only negative I have is the entertainment staff. The last time we visited (2003) there were alot more daytime activities and the evening entertainment was alot better. However the kids loved the entertainment and the Childrens reps were great. The childrens club was on 6 days a week for at least a couple of hours a day. For a small cost they even took them off your hands a couple of nights a week for a halloween and beach party, great break for the adults.
I would definately recommend this hotel it is quite expensive but so are most. I don't think I will be back next year but maybe in a few years just to see if Tony still remembers us!

The facilities are inadequate they consist of 2 cooking rings& a fridge, room was filthy when we arrived & had to ask for it to be recleaned.
Air conditioning is a rip off you have to pay 94 euro. Hotel bar is really expensive as well, pool area is never swept or hosed down, afternoon entertainment consisted of reps throwing each other in the pool for 2 solid hours most days so not much peace & quiet.
The evening entertainment was even worse if you're lucky there may be 2 live shows a week other nights consisted of a quiz or bingo run by reps good job we know San Antonio & that there is plenty to do nearby, only good thing about the Riviera is the kids reps who were brilliant.

Drinks were very expensive so you are better off going to the shop at the bottom of the steps.
The evening entertainment was very poor with only 2 artists a week (but they were very good).
This was our 4th time there and we have already booked for next August.

| said: This hotel is the best!!! It's much better than a 3 star it should be at least a 4. All the staff are very friendly the bar staff are really funny and always playing tricks on you.
The rooms get cleaned every two days and come back if your in your room which I think is really good. The only thing is you hav to pay to get your tv control and pay for air conditioning. The hotel was really dear for drinks and food. It was 2 euros 50 for a can of Irn Bru.
The entertainment was great. I loved it!!! I loved playing bingo even though I didn't win. Toni-Lee and Deano were great I loved use both!!! Use made my holiday. Stephan the Jmc rep was really nice looking. My brother really liked bfg and Nickynackynoo from the kids club. The daytiome entertainment was really good as well. Killer pool it was really good except deano teasing me about Stephan it was so embarresing.
I really want to go back because I loved it so much I keep dropping hints to my mum and dad you never know I might be back next year!!! I might see you again :Toni-Lee, Deano and BFG!!!
If you're looking for a great holiday come here won't be disappointed. Trust me

The rooms were very spacious and clean the maids came 3 - 4 times per week on our stay.
Food and drink expensive around the pool but probably the same everywhere else we just nipped over the road 2 min walk got 2 litre bottle for same price as glass bought at pool and sneaked it back in.
All the staff in the hotel were very friendly and cheerful at all times.
The entertainment for the children and the adults were 1st class just get in the mood and have some fun. Entertainment went from 11.00am until midnight with something going on every night.
JMC reps Dean and Tony Lea made our holiday they kept everything going it would be worth going back to see these two they are a great double act who get you all involved. Cheers you two.

| said: Stayed in the self catering suites which were on the fourth floor of the hotel with great views of the bay, the facilities for self catering were very poor however, the suite catered for four people but the self catering facilities consisted of only a 2 ring hob, one pan, some plates and knives and forks.
Food in the hotel is quite expensive as are drinks, its easier to pop to the local supermarket across the road to get drinks for a third of the price although you are not supposed to bring them back to the pool area.
The hotel is located on a main road at the bottom of teh bay which is extremely noisey, even though we were on the fourth floor the noise from scooters, cars and screaming tourists kept me awake for most nights.
Entertainment was good if you like the butlins type holiday camp experience, personally i hated it by my kids enjoyed it, very tacky, simple style stuff like kids discos, bingo etc. yawn yawn,
Definitly wouldnt visit the hotel again although love san antonio, for me its just to far away from the action of the town area and is too much like any other resort (could have been protaras, majorca etc). Will be staying in apartments near the sunset strip next year for a bit of real excitement

It's one of the best places I have ever stayed every thing about it is class my 2 children loved it and that's why we went back for a third time. We met lots of lovely people and really did have lovely holidays in the Rivera. If you have children its the place to be every thing is on your door step beach shops bars etc its also spotless.
The pool is the cleanest and best by far.

The Hotel was very clean as well as the rooms, each was cleaned daily of a very high standard. The food was really nice although there could have been more choice for children, breakfast was brilliant though with a large selection.
The location was relaxed although busy with plenty to do. San Antonio was 10 minutes across the water, there was always a speedboat waiting by the waterside.
The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke very good english.
Entertainment was enjoyable and the bar/lounge area was great with English satalite television.
I would definitely reccomend Riviera Hotel and Apartment especially to families although great for couples as well!
