| said: These appartments were in an ideal location,a stones thow from everywhere in the village. George was an absolute pleasure, greeted us with a smile and a very warm welcome every time we meet him, unlike the other members of family. We almost felt that we were bothering them, that we were a real nuisance. The accomadation was clean and spacious, lovely sized pool, and the food was ok, although we only ate there once because of the uncomfortable greeting we recieved.The rest of the staff could do with taking a leaf out of Georges book.

| said: We have been going to the Barras Apartments for the last 8 years and can only say how wonderful they are. They are always clean and welcoming. We eat in the restaurant most nights and the food is always very good. The Barras is run by George and his two sonsa along with their respective families and they are always very helpful and nothing is ever to much. They have a Greek night every week, which is great and both Georges sons, Dimitris & Spiros join in, as well as Nikos the wonderful waiter, who it must be said, is very funny and honest, he takes no prisoners if you are rude! Just as it should be, as you are on holiday in his country! We have booked again for this year and can't wait for July/August to arrive!

| said: I stayed here in June. It is damp and very unpleasant. All previous reviews are either by Thomson's "no hot water" or Barras family. These apartments are the VERY WORST in San Stefano's. BELIEVE me. I'm not fussy, I'm not hard work. I like to go on holiday and enjoy myself. TAKE MY ADVICE " AVOID THE BARRAS APARTMENTS". They run a nice bar but AWFUL accommodation.

| said: The rooms were spacious, the staff were friendly but the location was perfect. On the corner of the main street and a stones throw from everywhere. As we were there in August, it was still quiet and relaxed. It was our first visit there but we have booked to return again this year.

| said: have stayed at these apartments many times and have always had a very warm welcome from George and his family. rooms are very spacious and very clean. sophia's cooking is second to none and i think the best in corfu. you will not be disappointed by these apartments.

| said: These apartments are family run. Rooms are spacious and kept very clean.
The studio that we were in had twin beds large bathroom fridge, oven and 2 ring cooker also kettle and plenty of pots and dishes which all looked brand new.
The family also have a taverna which is one of the best places to have a meal and its a must to go to the greek nite held on a wednesday nite were everyone joins in, great fun.
The pool is a good size with a small slide and most rooms have a pool view.These apartments are on a main road so expect a bit of noise but all rooms have shutters on the windows.
Maid service is 3 times a week towels and linen changed twice a week.
