| said: hotel cleanliness was second to none ,cleaners in everyday and done a fantastic job always clean beding and towels,food at pool bar was great snack food and the staff most helpful then the lemon tree restaurant across the way which belongs to the alvaro has a wonderful menu at night along with the entertainment plus you get 10% of your bill when staying at the alvaro, the alvaro is in a quiet area but within easy reach to everything 5mins walk takes you to the 2 main area of icmeler and i will definetly stay here again and would highly recommend it everyway.a highly well run place so thanks to the staff and manager for the most enjoyable holiday and we will see you again to take the money from the box so you know who i am haha

| said: My friend and I stayed at The Alvaro for the second time this year first time was in June. I loved it both times. There are 3 different sized swimming pools here and a water slide so all ages are catered for. There is a restaurant on site to have drinks and meals throughout the day if you so wish. The cleaners are fantastic and even came to wave us off. The owner and his wife Ozcan and Danni are on site throughout the day and they are always checking that everything is ok with your stay there. All the staff there are very very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The apartments are basic but have everything you need. Rooms are lovely and clean with a good size balcony. I understand some improvements and additions are going to take place at The Alvaro in the winter months and I look forward to seeing them all next year. Fantastic place to stay and I would stay here again ..... if there were apartments available because it is such a popular place.

The family who own it are lovely thankyou for your help when one of our daughters had toothache.Ella their daughter beautiful.First week especially enjoyed, second week found a little to noisy with a large group of 20 to much for a small complex still wouldnt put us off.

| said: Well we arrived at alvaro appartments about 2.00 in the morning.It was ok but we were all tired and we were on the thrid floor and taking the suit cases up was so tiring.
The appartment was so lovely and clean every time u told them something they would sort it out there and then.
The staff was so nice and kind they were all kind when ever you came and sat down they came over straight away and asked what would you like to drink or to eat and the food was just so out of this world it was so nice.
It is so cheat that u would,nt need to go alcxlusive and even down the canal it is cheat aswell but its very cheat at the moraket that is only on every wednesday.
now i hope that the people at the appartment reads this thank you very much if us do and i will be back soon xxxxxx

| said: After such a fantastic holiday in 2006 we returned again this year. The hotel, the staff, the food everything was of the highest standard, the kids love the slide. Superb location minutes from all the bars and shops with some fantastic restaurants near by. The rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels delivered. We have already booked for next year can't wait. All staff were so friendly and they remembered us from last year, they could'nt do enough for you nothing was too much trouble.

| said: Just returned from our 6th visit to the Alvaro, and as usual had a fabulous time. We were given a very warm welcome from Gochan, ZaZa and Ebo when we arrived. And the following day, Orcan, Danielle and little Ella came to greet us.
The rooms are spotless as always, and the bar is a lovely place to relax and have breakfast by the pool before tackling the wonderful Turkish sunshine.
All the staff make you feel welcome and they will go out of their way to make your holiday special.
Like home from home, and can't wait to go back, missing it already.

The hotel is made to suit everyones personality.
The hotel is so full on life thats why its made me come back every year for 12 years.
Lots of people from the Wirral are very fond of this hotel. And its a great place to watch the football.

All staff are funny and extremley helpful in the restaurant and pool bar.
We stayed in villa 1 which was cleaned every day.
Pool slide very good fun for kids and the young at heart parents. We have alreay booked to go back this year as we had such a great time.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Zaza, what a gentleman he is, nothing was too much trouble for him, and Musa, what a guy, so funny, especially the tea cup trick, Gogo as well, each and every one of them became your friends for the all time we were there, we will definitely be going back,

We love everything about Alvaro from the location to the most fantastic staff, going with our 15 year daughter can be a bit of a problem, but we find the lads very protective of her.. Ozan and Danni and baby Ella are wonderful hosts. Big thank you to Yokan, we love him lots and Musa, gogo and zaza the best. Cant wait to go back it's like home from home.

| said: We arrived at 5.30am and were shown to our apartment
very quickly.
The apartment that we had been given was great.It was clean and tidy.
We went self-catering and ate at the Alvaro three times. The nights we eat the food was great.
The location to the town centre is great but we went to the beach each day which is a bit of a walk especially in 40 degree temps.
The hotel staff are unbelievable.Nicolas(CAGE)Gogo,Ricardo & Zaza were so helpful.
Each night there was something different from Turkish weddings to Turkish belly dancers.
The "Open the box " each night is fun.
My wife and I will definitely book again next year.

Ricardo, Zaza and Gogo they even let the kids wear their name tags they have a laugh round the pool and let you push them in.
And I just want to say how amazing that hotel is and I would definitely recommend you to go there I'm planning on going back very soon indeed!!!!!

| said: Heya all just back from another 2 brilliant weeks in the Alvaro. We are gutted to be home.
Well..the Alvaro aparts are basic but have everything your need. The cleanliness was excellent as the maids came in about 11.30 waking us both up.
The food is sooo good we could eat the Alvaro toasties any day.
Tthe pool area is well kept and is always clean.
Now on to the staff, they were all sooo friendly and funny as, big shout to Wee Erkan, Omer (Emma), Pedro, Marcos Gino, Ferat, Gogo, Zaza, Amed, Wee Sam And all the rest.
Can't wait to come back next year but hopefully coming back in September.
Brilliant apartments and wonderful atmosphere, love the Alvaro and we wouldn't go anywhere else xx

| said: This was the 3rd time we have stayed in the Alvaro and the 2nd time we have went DIY. What can I say another wonderful holiday yet again all the staff were very helpful.
We stayed in the old family house which was spotless.
The staff on reception were only to happy to help in any way they could always treating people with respect which was the same for all the staff.
We ate most days round the pool and always found the food and the service to be of a very high standard. At night we ate 3 times at their restaurant food here was very good.
While staying here this year our daughter who has Downs Syndrome took ill and had to go to hospital thankfully it was only a chest infection but the owner took us to the hospital stayed with us the whole time, insuring that we knew what was going on and then brought us back again. This took up most of the day for him as she had to have various tests we can't thank him enough for his kindness but then again we have always found that with both his wife and also himself. This is one of the reasons we keep going back, the other is the staff and they way they also treat our daughter,they are very patient with her and treat all of us like family.
Will we be going back again of course we will have already booked again for next year. We had booked before we even went on this years holiday.

| said: Another 2 wonderful weeks at the Alvaro. When we arrived we were treated like old friends, everyone was so helpful.
We were in the room we asked for and it was kept spotless by the cleaner, but she could have put more toilet paper in the bathroom when it ran out.
The pools were again kept very clean and the slide was a great hit used by kids and adults.
Special mentions to Farat, on reception, if you have any sort of problem ask him he will sort it out.
Zaza, waiter in the restaurant, again he cannot do enough for you.
Joachim, pool bar, if you see him just say 'Live long and prosper' and do the Vulcan sign, he looks like Mr Spocks love child.
GoGo, waiter in the restaurant, has a complicated love lfe and didn't know that Johnnie Walkers was a Scotch Whiskey.
Piedro, head waiter, tries hard but does not really succeed, needs to work on man management skills. Come back Leon.
Don't get caught out with the 'Coffee Cup' trick by 'Fat Boy' at the pool side.
A big hello to the Walker/Hamiltons great to see you again.

| said: We stayed at the Alvaro for 10 nights, it was our first visit to Turkey.
The apartments are basic but clean, if you intend to cook for yourselves I think it would be quite difficult as there was only a two ring hob similar to a camping hob, no kettle, or toaster and no dining chairs or table to eat at. I would say it was more like a room only basis. The rooms were quite small, it was OK for us with two young children but wouldn't fancy it with teenages or four adults sharing.
The pool area was nice and clean and the slide was great for kids and adults. Food around the bar area was good.
There was no entertainment but maybe this was due to time of year.

I have been to others but for the next couple years I will keep going back here!
The pool is good and the staff are lovely I will be going back in September this year. Cant wait to see everyone again. I spent a lot of time at Venice/Dreamboys/Three Bells and some others as well food is excellent in most places. When I go back there will be 11 of us!
The beach is a good place to spend a lot of time but boat trips are great if you want a lazy day out!
I like going to the market as well. Cant wait to go back.

| said: As first timers in Turkey we did not really know what to expect. Arriving at the Alvaro and checking in was so easy, you just gave your name and they handed over the key to your room. Initially we were put in the 4th floor rooms, but we did not like them. No trouble within 5 minutes we were given another room on the 3rd floor, perfect.
The rooms are clean and functional, you only realy sleep there. All windows have mozzie netting over them which is fine as long as you don't leave your door open at night. Air conditioning is available at £3 per day, safety deposit boxes are £1 a day. My wife says that the hairdriers are functional but do not have nozzles for styling.
There are 3 pools. One large and one baby pool,the third one has a water slide attached, brilliant, kids and adults love it. The slide is on for 45 minutes every 2 hours so it does not become annoying. The two larger pools do not have a shallow end, so keep an eye on kids.
Plenty of sun loungers around the pool.
There is a pool bar that is covered and serves drinks and food all day. My only comment about this is I think it would be better having plastic glasses around the pool area.
There is the Alvaro restaurant attached which we ate in a couple of times. They have a themed night Turkish Wedding. The waiters are all very lively and friendly.
If Leon is still doing "Open the Box" once he gets to 100 YTL take the money.
Ozcan (John) the owner is always in attendance around the apartments and is always willing to listen to your comments.
There is also Villas that you can rent.
Hello to all the friends we met there and hope to see you next year as we are going back.

| said: We visted Turkey for the first time this year and we booked into the Alvaro in Icmeler and I'm so glad we did. This one of the best holidays we have been on.
The staff in these apartments are amazing. The man that made our holiday so great was Murat (Matthew). He was so helpful and friendly, and we now think of him as a friend.
We would definatley go back to these apartments in fact we came home yesterday and we have already been looking to book up again.

| said: Alvaro apartments are very clean, although the rooms on the top floor are small unlike the rooms on the first floor they are big and quite modern. The cleaners work very hard and leave your room spotless.
Most staff could talk English they all were welcoming and friendly.
For food we recommend Geordie's and the Alvaro restaurant are good prices and good food.

| said: We stayed at the Alvaro in Icemeler it is the third time that we have been there as the resort is so friendly. Before we left this year we have booked up to stay in the villas that they have there.
When we arrived this year they all remembered us from two years ago.
They have extended the pool area and added a pool with a slide and they have also got a new restaurant the food there is absolutely delicious.
Next year there are six of us going and we are meeting up with some very dear friends that we met this year.
We would recommend this holiday location to everybody we just can’t wait for next year

| said: This is the second time we have visited the Alvaro apartments and again found them to be spotlessly clean. They have extended the pool area by adding a second pool with water slide a toddlers pool (which our 14 month old son loved) and a small childrens play park. A new addition is the Alvaro resturant so in addition to the excellent service at the poolside bar they now offer the resturant also which can only be described as fantastic.
The apartments were cleaned daily and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere round the pool during the days was great as the Alvaro attracts a very good mix of holiday makers and there was always a happy buzz about the place.
Location is very central and nothing in Icmeler is more than a few minutes stroll away with everything you need (Tansas) close by. This will definatley not be our last visit to the Alvaro and would thorougly recommend the apartments to anyone looking for excellent accomodation in Icmeler.

Excellent location Situated right in the centre of Icmeler with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful, there's nothing they won't do for you.
Yes!!! Have been twice now and will be returning again very soon.

| said: my party consisted of myself,husband ,two children & parents stayed in the Alvaro villas from 12/07/04 for 14 nights.
The villa iytself was quite basic but very clean & spacious.The accommodation consisted of a double room,twin room,single room & two sofa beds in lounge.The double room had air conditioning & remaining bedrooms had ceiling fans.
The apartment facilities were excellent with two large pools and a toddler pool.Loungers tended to be reserved very eary but no one using them but if you asked at the bar they would bring out more beds.The food served at the poolside bar was excellent & prices for drinks weren't much more than some bars in resort.
Entertainment consisted of quiz nights,kareoke nights and the occasional turkish nightbut we found bar to be quiet most nights.
The only negative points and they are very small is that there was no kettle in villa and the smell of deisol(excuse my spelling )seemed to linger for a long time after spraying.
We went DIY and this seemed to work out a lot cheaper because there were 7 of us.The flight was First choice and this went without a hitch.The Alvaro provide dthe transfer which went without a hitch .Dalaman airport on the return journey was a total nightmare as went people were dropped off by taxi and coach they seemed to think it was okay to jump the queue which led to frayed tempers.

| said: We stayed in the Alvaro apartments and the location for the town centre bars and restaurants were ideal.
The room was cleaned daily, we were on the ground floor in the corner plot and so had 2 balconies either side of the apartment. The air conditioning was good value and and absolute god send!
The staff were friendly although as I was our first time staying in the Alvaro apartments there seemed to be a certain 'click' with guests who had been going there years.
The pool area was lovely although no shallow end for the kids, there was not enough sunbeds around the pool as many of them at the far side ended up in the shade by lunch time. The old reserving of sunbeds with towels was well and truly underway!!! Be warned get up early if you want a sun bed!!

| said: They are fantastic apartments, with a mini bar for snacks and drinks, very friendly bar staff. Every week or 2 there is a Turkish night were there are belly dancers magicians etc.
It is in the central location of icmelar and only a very short walk into the pubs. We stayed in a basic apartment extreamly clean maid came every day. Our apartment sleeped up to 4 or 5, there is bigger apartments that can sleep many many more (ideal for large families.)
There is 2 fairly good sized pools with a great slide for the kids it entertained them for the holiday!
I would recommend this holiday for families or couples, we had a great time with no probablems what so ever and would definatly go again.

| said: visited these apartments in july 2003. first holiday in turkey will not be the last. apartments are located just a few minutes walk away from the main area of icmeler. the apartments are very clean and well looked after. the staff and managment are very friendly and helpful. the apartments themselves are comfortably furnished and consist of a main central block with four brand new apartments to the side of these, a larger apartment that holds up to six people is also on the side. the pool area consists of 3 pools two large and one paddling pool one of the larger ones has a slide. A bar/snack area is also located next to the pools with a pool table and bar football and covered area to get out of the sun. These apartments are ideal for familys and couples alike who like to be on the edge of whats going in and around the resort.

We found the apartments basic but very clean. I would recommend these apartments to anyone going to Turkey and will be returning there in 2006.
The food served is very good and the waiters eager to please.
Location excellent for shops and nightlife.
These apartments are owned by a Turkish man and his English wife who make sure guests are well looked after, and many guests return year after year.
The entertainment is rather low key, but has a very enjoyable Turkish night once a fortnight. We made our own fun playing killer pool for 3TL, winner takes all, waiters and kids all joined in.
Guests are all English and a fantastic time was had by all.
