The marina suites were nice clean spacious apartments although not too fancy for 4 star. The clean towels every day was excellent being a family of four. We were on the 4th floor and had a nice view of the marina. It was a quiet holiday and the marina suites is a good location for getting all around puerto rico and gran canaria. There wasn't alot of things for our two teenage children to do so they found the apartments a bit boring did not go to the nighttime entertainment in marina suites as required long trousers however all in all a good holiday was had by all and would return the only negative thing i could say was the pull down sofa bed in the apartment was really uncomfortable so a good sleep us adults did not get.

Nothing was a problem with any request from the reception, or staff, happy to help, guests were also happy to stay there, which is a good indication, our room 3rd floor over looking the marina, was under used by us although the balcony was our favorite place.

We did eat in the hotel buffey and although limited in choice was of good quality.

Sometimes some work in the boat yard was intrusive, but not not a problem for me, swimming pool was of good size and the sun beds quite rightly could not be saved for later use.

Location was good for us, a good view could be had from the ridge over looking the marina 1/2 hour walk up some steps easy to find and climb.

what a fantastic hotel, couldn't fault it in any way,we had a great view of the marina from the balcony it was just like a picture postcard.
Never seen so many good looking staff, who were all so helpful and friendly.Thought the idea of having breakfast on the terrace was great, and you could also have a lie in as you had from 8am - 11am to have breakfast.
We stayed on a half board basis, and found the food
excellent.
It was nice getting a fresh towel every day for the sunbed as with the rooms towels were always being changed.Had a very relaxing holiday and would definately return.

No room at the inn

Booked this hotel in feb 2007 from aphlaroom.com had previously stayed at this hotel the year it first opened and enjoyed it. Disappointed is not the word to express how I felt when we were put in the Hotel adjoining the comple. It was not of the same standard and hence the increasing number of people using the swimming pool at the marina. Apparently Overbooking has been occuring for the last few months.

Still waiting for response from Alpharoom about this experience even though contacted when still on holiday. Advise do not book with them as they are obviously only interested in the money and feel they can afford to loose the customer that have a poor experience with them

We stayed in this hotel for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it.

The location is fantastic we had a fantastic view over the harbour. Gran canaria is like any other canary island it can be tacky in places but Puerto Rico is gorgeous.

The hotel restaurant was the best we have ever eaten in, the food was plentiful and with plenty of variety. I am a fussy eater and I could have eaten everything.

The hotel staff were excellent - very polite and courteous especially the bar and restaurant staff. Can't really remember much about the entertainment on an evening, there was stuff going on during the day but we didn't take part.

The rooms were beautiful and very spacious.

The pool area is lovely and relaxing. Towels can be changed every day and there are two jacuzzi's to relax in. The view over the ocean is really beautiful and you can't help but be relaxed when you are there (don't know if that would be the same if our son had been with us though LOL).

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it was one of the best holidays for relaxation I have ever had.

The hotel staff really look after you and if I ever go back to Gran Canaria I will most definately stay here.

We have visited Gran Canaria for many years and would highly recommend this hotel as a very superior complex with high standards, the rooms are spacious, clean and have full facilities very clever design with a fantastic size balcony, although who needs to cook when you have 101 great resturants in the commercial centre. The hotel is is in a great spot and car park attached, You would struggle greatly to find fault, on the whole you could not go wrong, the reception staff were fantastic the pool bar staff could do with a smile or two, the opening hours of the pool bar were varied and did not use the outside space enough at night as the setting and pool area was amazing, The hotel was well managed and and if you have booked this you will not be dissapointed it was fantastic and if you are thinking of booking - press the button !

Highly recommended hotel. We arrived at 4.30am, stepped into our room, and couldn't believe it. All the rooms are newly refurbished, kitted out with all kinds of funky modern stuff from IKEA.

Rooms cleaned every day, with new towels too. There was a notice asking you to re-use towels to help the environment, but they were changed every day anyway.

Puerto Rico is stunning, not a tacky resort at all, has everything for everyone. You can take the 15min walk into town to hit the bars and clubs if you want, or relax in one of the quiet bars at the port. The location of the Marina Suites Hotel is perfect....a lot of hotels in Puero Rico are built on the hillside and it takes a good 20 mins to get down the hill (not good in scorching heat) but the Marina Suites is on the flat land on the marina. Taxi's into town cost under 3 EUROS, or you can walk in 10 mins.

The hotel staff did their jobs well, but, as with most hotels I've been to, you kind of get the impression they looked down on you and you were inconveniencing them by being there.....but don't get me wrong, this didn't affect our holiday at all, we just relaxed most of the time. There isn't any night-time entertainment at the hotel, but 2 South American girls do some activities during the day, just look at the timetable and join in (darts, table tennis, chess etc.)

We were bed and breakfast, and found the breakfast to be OK, only they tried to be a bit posh and cook food on the spot as each guest asked for it, which leaves the rest of the people in the queue waiting and hungry with a plate of cold food!!! The hotel food at lunchtime didn't look that good and it was expensive....Puerto Rico has so many amazing bars and restaurants I recommend going to 1 of these rather than hotel to eat.

We will return to this hotel (hopefully in Jan) to experience again the sheer luxury of the hotel (which is designed like a cruise ship by the way...amazing) as we know Puerto Rico has everything, and the hotel is so special, the weather, everything....I'd highly reccommend this hotel to anyone.

This isa fantastice 5 Star Hotel. Do not hesitate in booking this Hotel as you will not be dissapointed.

The Hotel is extremely clean. The views are superb overlooking the Marina and the Sea.

There is plenty to do with games around the pool area and a kids play area. There is a great system for Pool towels so you do not need to bring your own unless you plan to visit the beach.

The location is next to the Marina which is very conveniant for Boat trips to see Dolphins etc. You can also catch boat ferries to Mogan for £10 euros which is beatiful and also Anfi beach which is also very nice.

The Food in the Hotel is also 5 star. We were on a half board basis. Breakfast is buffet style and dinners the same.

The rooms are fabulous... they are soo big.

The pool is brilliant, its one of those pools that are never ending and there is also jazzuis.

This is the best hotel I have been to yet in Gran Canaria and is really well situated. Make a point of going here.

Recently returned from the Marina Suites and can confirm without a doubt that the reviews on this site are spot on.

Hotel was very modern and clean, with a nautical theme running throughout.

Location was superb, close enough to bars and restaurants for convenience without being too close for them to be intrusive. We had a marina view on the 8th floor. Whilst there was noise from the boatyard below, it was something you can live with.

Our only complaints are the small things that could be considered to be nit picking. We were self catering but there was no tea towel provided to dry the washing up (to be fair this was done by the maid). The previously mentioned luggage room being left unlocked was a little disconcerting. We were on our honeymoon but only had 2 single beds pushed together - although this did stop any arguments over who hogged the sheets!

I cannot think of anything else to say that would add to what has been said about the Marina Suites already. This is a superb hotel and would urge anyone thinking about staying at the hotel to do so as you will not be disappointed.

I would highly recommend the Marina Suites. The location is excellent, it is close to all the amenities but not situated in a noisey area. The views are excellent if you are high up.

The staff are polite and understand English well although the maids knocked early a few times even though we had a do not disturb sign on our door. This is the only complaint I have other than my girlfriend that kept jumping out and taking my picture every five minutes (Michelle). Do not buy your girlfriend a digital camera!

I cannot comment on the hotel food as we didn't eat there.

As far as I am aware there is no entertainment although there are many bars close by. We will be returning.

Wow and wow is what I say about the Marina Suites!

The apartments are massive and we looked out over the Marina and had fantastic views of the ocean.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel and apartments were spotless.

It didnt matter about the lack of entertainment as it was only about 10 mins away in the commercial centre.

We loved it so much we are coming again in August 2007
can't wait!

I would go back to this hotel but not with teenagers because there was nothing provided for them to do

Excellent apartment.very clean. great location, no complaints at all. ...ah yes, one, the room for left luggage on the last day was left open, any canny thief could have helped themselves to anything.

Great location, next to harbour, not noisy....apart from some days when they were working on a boat opposite...no real issues though.

Staff were great (read earlier posting about them not speaking good English!...erm hwo good's your Spanish lady!!)

Rooms cleaned to high standard daily, fresh towells daily if required too.

No entertainment...no issues, loads 15 mins walk away.

Room fantastic on 7th floor with Marina views. Loads of space & very clean. Maid service every day unless you hung a notice on the door asking them not to come in. They even dried our dishes on the odd occasion we left them!

We always ate out so didn't get chance to try the hotel food. Plenty of eating / drinking places within 5-10 min walk or a short taxi ride (2.55 euros) to the commercial centre.

Hotel ideally located right on the marina with beach 5-10 mins walk depending how much of a hurry you are in.
Staff were very friendly & one bonus was they would get a taxi to the door for you normally within 5 mins.

Pool was excellent with fantastic views over the ocean but it closed at 18:00 which was a bit mean considering other hotel pools in the locality were typically open till 19:00-20:00. Also sunbed allocation could be better policed - there were several occasions where there were towels & no people for hours on end.

Not much in way of entertainment which did not bother us as there is always plenty to do in the resort.

Definitely go to this hotel again...

Just back from the best holiday ever. Apartments were out of this world. Clean, Modern, spacious. The towel card was a added bonus, just hand in your towel cards and your given fresh clean towels every morning to use around the pool....

O the Pool my goodness what a pool, it looks as though it runs in to the sea. Amazing views, especially when your on the 9th floor. We had a view over the marina it was lovely and we could see the main beach of Puerto Rico.

Didn't eat in main restaurant of Marina Suites but did have the buffet breakfast, keeps you going all day well worth €8 euro and very tasty.

Although there is no entertainment, restaurants, bars are only 10 min walk and beach just 5 min walk.

Would go back in the morning.

Just returned from the fantastic Marina Suites. Best accomodation we have ever stayed in.

Excellent location on the flat part of Puerto Rico.

Spacious and very clean apartments with excellent kitchen facilities and air cond which was needed with temps in the high 30's!We had an apartment with marina view which was fantastic.

Infinity pool to die for with views of the open sea. No need to pack towels for the pool just take the given card to the towel station and hey presto you get large towels for use by the pool.

Only thing the hotel lacked was evening entertainment but bars and resturants were in easy walking distance.
Stay at these apartments and you won't be dissappointed.

What can I say this hotel was fantastic.

We booked a one bedroom apt, what a surprise when we entered our room, a two bedroom, two bathroom, apt on the ninth floor with views to die for. The rooms are very large with large balcony and the decor is beautiful if I could have took it home I would have.

The pool is lovely and is an infinity pool so when your swimming it looks like your swimming in the sea.

The rooms get cleaned every day with clean towels daily. Don't be like me and take loads of beach towels you get towels given for use by the pool, you're get given a card each when you arrive which gets you a towel, when you hand tour towel in and get your card back so you have clean towels for the pool every day.

The entertainment through the day was good but no entertainment on a night which didn't bother us because we go out anyway. If you like classy hotels you won't be disappointed.

We had a fantastic holiday and are going back to the Marina Suites in Feb, I would recommend these apartments to anyone.

We spent 2 weeks self catering -

The hotel was very clean, and this could not of got better - the maids were fantastic, we had clean towels everyday, washing up was always done - Brilliant

Although we were self catering, we did eat once in the hotel at night time, where a buffett was servied, however the food was cold and bland. However the breakast was fantastic

Location was good, very quiet and beautiful settings at night time over looking the harbour

Hotel staff were always smiling, however the problem was they did not speak very good english at all, and did find a few of them were quite rude - i stood at the bar outside and waited for a drink, and they carried on chatting whilst i stood there, i walked away in the end - i asked for a pot of tea, and got a cuppachino!

No entertainment, which was the only dissapointed - drinks were quite expensive too

I would love to come back

We stayed here for a week in April. We had 2 children aged 3 and 6 years with us.

The apartments are very large, bright and well equipped. They are comfortable for a family of four. The sofa bed in the lounge is only really suitable for children under 12.

The whole complex is kept spotless and we had a mid service and clean towels every day.

The staff are polite and pleasant.

The location is excellent, right on the marina with lots to see from your balcony. The resort is a short 5 minute walk. Supermarkets are close by.

The day time entertainment was okay, water aerobics and games for the kids, but not comprehensive. There is no eveing entertainment.

I would certainly visit the Marina Suites again. We had a great holiday!

We stayed over the Christmas period last year and were impressed enough to do the same again this year. The standard of cleanliness was just as good. We prefer to eat out as there are so many excellent restaurants nearby. However, we did have 2 breakfasts (very good value for €6) and a lunch (free sherry) which were well presented and pleasantly served by the friendly staff.

The location is superb, all rooms having a sea or marina view. An easy walk to the beach or shops. No shops yet opened at the hotel although there are shop units on the ground floor still empty.

This hotel is right in front of the marina.

It has nine floors and I would recommend booking a high room as the views are fantastic.

The apartments are huge, furnished of a very high quality and are kept exceptionally clean (as is every where else) the kitchen has every thing you need to prepare a basic meal.

On your arrival you are given two credit type cards which you exchange for pool towels, this can be done as many times as you require.

The staff are very helpful and polite.

Entertainment wise this seems to be around the pool during the late morning to early afternoon and usually consists of keep fit, aqua aerobics, darts matches, table tennis matches and drinking games!

Would definitely visit this hotel again.

Just spent a week in the Marina Suites Peurto Rico Gran Canaria and it was fantastic!

This was my fifth time in resort but first at the Marina Suites, and I will always return to this particular hotel. It was spotlessly clean in all areas.

We stayed Self catering, but used the hotel facilities for breakfast and lunch and it was fantastic value for money. Being one of the few hotels on "ground level" it was bliss not having to use taxis to get back up one of the huge hills everyday so that saves you some money as well!
The hotel staff were all very polite and caould not do enough to help!

The hotel had very little in the way of organised entertainment but that suited us as there were no rowdy pool games going on whilst you were trying to relax around the pool, but saying that there was still the odd bit for those wanting to take part.

I could not reccomend this hotel highly enough and cannot wait to get back there. Try it...you won't be dissapointed!!

We booked online through Broadway who gave us a fantastic deal.

On arrival (around 4AM), we were greeted nicely and went up to our room (ninth floor). By this time after travelling/transfer etc. we were ready for sleep. However, we soon woke up and got excited as soon as we reached the room.

What can I say, fantastically spacious, excellent decor, clean as a whistle and a fantasic view over both harbour and beach/sea. Our double bedroom was huge, and our daughter had a huge sofa bed and her own dressing area.

Kitchen hidden behind double doors with more accesories than were needed (coffee maker etc). You can only use the cooker though for max. ten mins for health & safety, but this wasn't an issue. Large bathroom with fresh towels daily & excellent maid service daily. Satellite TV/Air Con, water in fridge when we arrived it was perfect.

Self catering so did not eat at hotel but the buffet looked good. Now for the pool area - out of this world! Open pool with water that went over the edge so it looked like it went into the sea. Jacuzzi jet seats at one end and there were even two hot Jacuzzi's.

We had the most marvellous time and are going to book direct for next year.

Only one small issue that could have made the last day perfect. Our flight home was at 03:25, and we had to vacate the room for noon. We were advised to check with reception on day of departure if we could keep the room on for fifty euros or reserve another room - the room was not available, and we were told we could not have another room. I advised we were willing to pay, especially as our daughter is only twelve and we knew she would be tired. I later asked a different member of staff if the Hotel was full to see if this was the reason. It was not full, so we were unhappy they did not try to accomodate us. Therefore we were given a courtesy room for fifteen minutes for the three of us! The couple that were in there before us took a lot longer than their time slot, so when we had been in the room for just five minutes, we were "politely" reminded by telephone from reception, that fifteen minutes was up (it wasn't as my hubby "politely" retorted back)!!!

As I say, just a minor upset on the last day, but if you don't mind vacating the room early on with a late flight, you will not be dissapointed with Marina Suites!

After reading excellent reviews about the hotel on this and other review sites we certainly were not left disappointed. The hotel exceeds all expectations of what you would expect from competitive "package holiday" accommodation. Spotlessly clean, both in the rooms and communal areas with towels changed regularly and pool towels provided at no extra cost. very spacious accommodation with perfect views either across the Marina toward the main beach area or over the pool area out to sea. The boatyard out the front can get a little noisy during the day but you hardly notice it. Refreshingly friendly, attentive staff help make it an ideal place to stay; only a 5 minute walk to the main beach and a further 5 minutes to the main commercial centre. No evening entertainment at all is slightly disappointing.

The Marina suites are located in a superb location, overlooking the beautiful marina in puerto rico, where there are no hills to climb.

The view from the balconies was gorgeous, especially at sunset or in the morning when all the boats were going out of the harbour.

The suites were spotlessly clean, and even included toiletries and a hairdrier.

The entertainment was low key, just through the day.

One week's stay at Marina Suites was superb.

The hotel is next to the marina and open ocean and the views from hotel were great. The suites are large and well designed and the reception area spacious and bright. The staff were very attentive and the manager was often seen checking the pool and decked areas for any problems - always rectified within a few minutes by maintenance staff.

The breakfasts were fantastic value, fresh fruit, cold meats, rolls, cheeses, cooked breakfasts, juices and hot drinks all for six euros.

Entertainment daily was in form of aquarobics, children's' games and were always well attended. The infinity pool next to the ocean was also fantastic.

Any faults? No, not really... only had to come back for work. Would definitely go back.

A really modern hotel, very clean hotel in set in a beautiful marina, about 20 minutes walk from the main shopping centre/bars. Rooms very spacious with cooking facilities and good views whichever side you were on. Maids excellent changing towels every day and even washing up any dishes left in the sink.

Very expensive for drinks in the bar and the food in the supposed 'a la carte' restaurant was very poor - everything was either served with chips or jacket potatoes. The menu remained the same for the entire 2 weeks and the service was the worst we have every encountered. Some nights we waited for 2.5 hours for the 3 course meal. When we complained we were told they were very busy but you would think a hotel this size would have planned for busy times. As you can imagine with 3 children waiting for this length of time they got very fed-up. The wrong dish was frequently brought out to us but in the end we just took what we could - we were that sick of waiting!
Breakfast was much better as this was a buffet and there was loads of choice. You could be as quick/long as you wanted.

No entertainment in the evenings at all just the reception bar which for the price they charged for the drinks you would think they could afford to even put on a disco for the children (doesn't cost much). Daytime entertainment was better and concentrated around the pool area.

Really disappointed after reading other reviews on this hotel, probably better if you go self-catering or BB then you won't have the hassle of waiting around all night for your meal as the food in the surrounding restaurants is very cheap. Wouldn't go back.

We came to this hotel this year with friends who had syated at the Marina Suites the previous year.

The hotel lived up to all expectations that we had been given and more.

The maid service in the rooms were great, the attention to detail they gave when cleaning the rooms was outstanding.

Views from the rooms were brilliant and very relaxing whilst watching the sunset.

The food and service in the Hotel restaurant was by far better than most that you would pay for in the UK, however one small downside was that the menu did not change, it was great for a weeks stay but got a little repetative for two weeks, especially for the children

On first arrival at the Marina suites I was very impressed the rooms were very spacious and decorated tastfully.

The bathroom was a nice size and there was a nice compact kitchen which could be shut away behind sliding doors, although the kitchen was not really suitable for cookingin as you were only allowed the hob on for 10mins.

The rooms were kept quite clean and the maids even did the washing and wiping up.

Everything was provided on this holiday including pool towels and toiletries.

The pool area was very nice and the jacuzzis were great although you did have to wait as a lot of children were using them although you are supposed to be over 16 to use them.

The pool bar at the hotel was very nice although there was a limited menu and very breezy.

The bar in the hotel was very pleasant although very small.

Marina suites is very clean and modern, not every day you get your holiday decor from ikea. Pool view is excellent.

The staff cleaned your room daily, changed towels ,washed up,and general tidy up of your room.set in the corner near the harbour and marina,so is just set away from the commercial centres and quiet, good restaurants near by(steak house near netto)and(popeyes(cheaper))nightlife is all or nothing, commercial centre 20 min walk away and europa right up top of the hill but smaller and less rowdy.

Suites has a bit o' class to it. Staff excellent and friendly, be prepared to pay quadruple for a little bottle of water and sarnies are a bit over priced at the pool bar. Bring your own water.

All in all though you definately won't go away disappointed, probably return!

As soon as we arrived at the Marina Suites, we knew that this would be an excellent holiday and it certainly was.
The Hotel is very clean and the maids cleaned the rooms daily and did an excellent job, however they do come round very early, so if your after a lie in, forget it!

The hotel had one swimming pool and a children's pool, both overlooked the sea, which had fantastic views, while the 2 hot tubs were great to get away from it all!

All of the staff who worked at this hotel, were very friendly and polite also.

Marina Suites was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in.

The rooms were very spacious and spotlessley clean with fantastic views over the Marina. The apartments were well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay and well designed and the cleaners (who visited daily) kept them remarkably clean.

Although we stayed self-catering we tried the restaurant on a couple of occasions and found it to be very good and resonably priced, although we felt a change of menu would be welcomed.

The pool area is fantastic, by far the best we have ever seen with views accross the ocean as you are swimming and a free towel service.

The hotel location is also superb, only a few minutes walk to the beach and a bit further to resort centre although far enough to be in a quieter area of Puerto Rico and no hills to climb !

We found this hotel went over and above all expectations and we will be returning without a doubt !!

The accommodation was by far the best I have ever stayed in!!!!

Everything about the Marina Suites is perfect. Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone!

Food in pool bar and hotel restaurant is very reasonable.

Really clean. Thought the hotel supplying towels for the pool was a fantastic.

They’ve got the right combination going here for a fantastic holiday. I mean, how many places have you stayed in where they have a couple of bottles of water supplied to get you through your first day there?

My family and I stayed for a week from the 5th March 2005 what can I say but fantastic. We had a two bedroom apartment and stayed self catering.

The room itself had two bedrooms one en suite, separate bathroom, kitchen, although no oven did have a microwave and toaster, the living area was bright spacious and clean with settee and chair.

The only faults that we found with the hotel were the fact of the shower screen in the bathroom as these where fixed and being 5ft 3in you had to step into the bath to run water as the taps weren't easily accessible.

No entertainment at night and no kids club or play area for the kids although they did have a table football game and board games for the children.

Although after talking to our rep she did tell us the hotel had only been open twelve months and once it had its star rating which I have to say I would give it a four should get its kids club and more entertainment.

I booked this hotel based on feedback found on this site and I wasn't disappointed.

It is spotlessly clean with maid service every day - they even do your dishes and present your nightwear neatly folded on your beds!! The apartments are huge and have been fitted out with top quality furnishings -everything is just fabulous.

We had snacks at the poolside restaurant daily, delicious and reasonably priced too. Can't fault anything about this hotel and have recommended it already to many friends and relatives. Get in quick because I am sure they will put their prices up in the future - it is worthy of it!!!

Food was excellent and the Santa visiting the pool was a nice touch.

Festivities in the hotel were a bit muted but they haven't been open long.

Only entertainment is round the pool during the day but plenty of bars not far away that are open late.

The Marina Suites is an absolute delight to stay in. The location on the Marina is only a short walk from all the main attractions of Puerto Rico.

The one bedroom apartment was "gob smacking" with all you needed for a self catering stay. We even had towels for sun bathing provided.

The rooms were cleaned daily and sparkled. We ate in the dining room on one occasion and were a bit disappointed at the menu, but as it is a new hotel, we felt they were still finding their feet.

All the staff from the bar to reception and pool were genuinely pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for a winter break

This brand new hotel is a holidaymaker's dream.

The reception staff were always willing to give help and advice and always greeted you with a smile regardless of the time, day or night, that you rolled in.

The rooms were cleaned, and towels replaced, every day. The rooms are spacious, 4 adults can easily occupy one apartment. The kitchen is equipped with toaster, microwave, coffee percolator, kettle, fridge, electric hob, pans and numerous utensils and cutlery.

The pool is situated beside the sea and plenty of sunbeds are supplied, beach towels are available.

As this hotel is by the Marina it is excellently situated for the beach and shops/restaurants/bars.

We can only describe this Aparthotel in one word - suberb!

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room itself was modern and clean with every facility you would expect from this type of accomodation. We had a view of the pool and the sea from our spacious balcony, although other rooms overlooked the marina which was just as picturesque.

The pool area was great with free sun beds and towels.

There is daily poolside entertainment which is good to watch if you are too chilled out to join in !

Although we didn't eat in the dining room, we used the pool bar which provided good reasonably priced lunch time meals & drinks.

The hotel is located next to the marina within easy walking distance of the beach.

We booked via www.alpharooms.com and flight via www.thomsonflights.com. Taxi transfer was made via www.canaryforum.com. They all provided service that resulted in an excellent weeks holiday break - wish we had made it a fortnight !

We'll certainly be back again !

Stayed for one week, which was definately not long enough.

The hotel is superb, the cleanliness is the best we've ever seen. The buffet breakfast was good, but not as hot as it could have been. The evening meals were lovely - a la carte, probably not for the people with very large appetites, but the quality was superb.

Pool lovely, but I agree that if all the sunbeds were taken up, then pool wouldn't be big enough. There was plenty of spare room whilst we were there. The pool bar is also lovely, but we felt they didn't make the most of it, as it closed early evening every day, and it would have been such a nice place to stay and have a drink instead of venturing off the premises, or sitting inside the hotel in the evenings.

Would definately return again, depending on the cost of course, as I feel the prices will rise next year.

Arrived at the hotel on the 12.8.04. The rececption area is very pleasent. Our rooms where really clean and spacious. The air conditioning was a god send. The maids cleaned the rooms every day. The apartment has everything you would need for a self catering holiday. The views from the balconly and swimming pool where great. The swimming pool is lovely, but I should imagine when the hotel is full, it would not be able to accomodate everyone. This is the same for the lifts. There are 3 lifts that takes six people at a time, which has to go to 9 floors. We are a family of 7 with no small children, so had to take two lifts at any one time and may be three if we had surf boards and beach bags with us. Although this would not stop me from returning to this aparthotel, as it is was the best I have stayed in the Baleric Islands.

This hotel had just been opened a week when we went for a 2 week holiday. It was fabulous! The rooms are very spacious, each having fridge, microwave etc. regardless if you are self catering or not. The pool was luxurious with stunning views out to the Atlantic Ocean. The staff were 1st class and very friendly. The food was A La Carte, some nights it was extremely good and the next night, not so good, but every day we saw an improvement, and we know that management are doing their very best to have this rectified. The views were absolutely magnificient, looking over the Marina. On the whole this was an excellent holiday, and hopefully the prices will not increase too much for next summer as really, the hotel is worthy of 5 stars.

We arrived to the Marina Suites in the middle of the night to be greeted by the manager who informed us and a few other couples that we were the first ever people to stay in the Marina Suites.
He showed us all around the hotel regardless that it was the middle of the night which was pleasant.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The rooms were lovely and very well equipped. The food at first was ok but by the end of the two weeks was really nice.

The staff was very nice including the cleaners who did an excellent job.

The pool was out of this world, the manager explained that they were trying to get the feel of a cruise ship which definitely worked.

Overall the holiday was fantastic and I would go back there without a doubt.
