Stayed here at the end of May. Booked it with 5 weeks to go - then read the reviews. Was a bit put off but I knew someone who had been and they recommended it. I booked a studio room and it was just that - one open plan room as on the pics though there was an apartment option. As I was half board the cooking facilities didn't bother me but be aware it is only a sink, fridge, microwave and a two ring hob in what could have been a wardrobe in a former life. The only dining area is on the patio. Rooms were cleaned regularly - just put the sign on the door, they always cleaned ours. It is a fairly quite area but the Thomas Cook reps do provide lots of haven/butlins type entertainment for the kids. My son of 9 was more than happy with the football-basketball-snooker-pool-table tennis knockouts. My daughter of 15 was less enthusiastic but the weather was good so it was ok. Evening entertainment isn't great and the Robbie Williams guy sounded more like a poor version of Tony Hadley from Spandau. There is a nightclub for over 16's but it doesn't open till 11pm and I'm not actually sure if it was open. The only night we ventured down there was for the Man U/Barca game which they put on the big screen - oh and there is a small TV/cinema room and a bit of an arcade. All very safe for kids. The hotel was 95% British and I don't think I ever saw any towels on the sun loungers that weren't being used but then I wasn't up at 7 checking. This is definitely a family hotel with loads of grandparents there aswell. The supermarkets by the hotel are a bit sparse and dear if you're self catering. Most of the food on half board option was fairly good - there's quite a bit of choice and there was only one night we ended up a bit stuck and had pizza and chips. There is 6 or so choices and a grill area (in the mornings, they will make you omelettes/fried eggs/pancakes so you wont starve) There was two Internet computers in the foyer and three in the room before the dining room though the connection was slow and crashed a bit. There is a pretty long road (10-15 mins walk) to San Antonio Bay which can be a bit offputting if going out at night but lots of people did it and we just made sure we walked behind other families. The beach area is literally just around the corner from the hotel to the right. Didn't spend too much time there but it was quiet and safe with pedalo's etc. Also a ferry stop to San Antonio at 6 Euro's return - double the price of the bus.

This was our 2nd visit to the Seaview as we had a week there in Sept 06, we stayed for 2 weeks this time and it was great except for 1 vital point...the entertainment or rather the lack of!!!

The holiday started off bad as we requested a room in Geranium House where we stayed last time, i had recieved 2 emails from the hotel confirming this, however on arrival they stuck us in Almond House with a view of nothing but a great big tree which we were not happy about but there you go, reception staff were very apologetic but insisted there was no requests from my booking and said there were no pool view rooms available until our 2nd week which we declined as we didnt want to pack and unpack a week into our hol.

We were self catering for the first 10 days and HB for the last few days and i have to say the hotel food was again top notch. Plenty of choice, always hot, couldnt fault it at all.

The cleanliness in public areas was spot on, however the maid service was disappointing. My wife insists our sheets werent changed once but i think they were once, the argument is still unresolved :-) The main bits of the floor were cleaned/swept but sand and grit etc just tended to be swept to the sides of the floor.

Hotel location is perfect for us, well away from the noise, hustle & bustle etc but only a short 10 min stroll to find it all and right next door to a perfect little beach.

Hotel staff were all great, a couple of people i spoke to said that the waiters and bar staff didnt seem interested and were ignorant but we had none of these problems at all, what do you expect though, i heard people trying to get there attention with "oi mate" etc, try learning a bit of spanish and it makes all the difference. 3 of the waiters/bar staff bent over backwards to help us, gave me free beer, the kids free food and also a free big bottle of milk because we attempted to speak to them in their own language...i honestly believe they appreciate it a lot more.

Now onto the biggest dissapointment of all. The "entertainment". While we were there Jodie & Andy Mac left leaving just Frostie & Leanne, not that it made much difference. As much as they try they are not very good as a team on a whole when compared to the team of 2006 and at other hotels. Andy Mac was born to be on stage with a mic in his hand as he is so comfortable doing it, however he seriously lacks wit and humour, whereas Frostie & Leanne look uncomfortable when the lights are on them. Although Leanne is a good laugh she is by far a good entertainer.
My 5yo daughter loves mini disco's, however it was the same 5 or 6 songs every night whereas in 2006 it was any combination of about 15 songs they used. The party dances at the end of the night used to be 3 or 4, the last week we were there they played cartoon heroes only and thats it.

Worse than all that, on Fri 12th the weather was terrible, and when you need an entertainment team the most is when the kids cant go in the pool etc....what did they do? Absolutely nothing, not a single activity was organised all day which just isn't good enough!

It speaks volumes that in 2006 the outside stage area was packed every night regardless of what was on, this year there were nights where the area was maybe 1/3 full if that!

We had some friends staying in San Miguel Beach Club and went up there for the night on Tue 16th where my wife was roped into doing Miss San Miguel 2008 comp (she won it too hehehe) and if anyone at the Seaview or Thomas Cook want to know how entertainment should be run, they need only go and spend a night at the San Miguel wayching Zorro in action...the guy is a legend and an absolute superstar.

All in all we still had a good holiday, just expectations from last time were not met and it was annoying, we'll still go back though, probably in 2010 because aside from the entertainment the place is fantastic!

First time at the Seaview, won't be our last.

Very clean ,staff work hard to keep it that way. Some guests certainly kept them on their toes with the amount of rubbish left. Why can't people use the bins provided?

We stayed half board. Loads of choice and you certainly would not go hungry.

Just far away from hustle and bustle of San An. Right next to a super little beach. 1.45 Euros for bus into San An. Or a steady 15 mins stroll to bars and restuarants. Nice cheap little supermarket across the beach and up the stairs. 1.55 euros for the bus to Cala Bassa beach, well worth a visit.

All staff superb hard working and attentive.

Entertainers worked very hard to keep everyone entertained.

A great family hotel. If you have got children this is the place for you. We will be returning.

Only downside we were an early flight and arrived at around 10am to find our rooms not ready. But we asked for adjoining rooms. We were offered alternatives immediately but opted to wait for what we had booked.

been a few times now to the seaview, honest review here.
1,it does need new carpets and a lick of paint.
2,beds are uncomfortable,ask my back.
3,half board is ok,but isnt to everyones taste,i hope they improve this or im back to s,catering.

staff, have been cut back.the activities suffer because of this,ie there is less on,starts at 11am?
and long gaps in the afternoon.
football, should be played everyday both kids/adult as its got a decent pitch, and lots wear team tops so i suppose they play it?also the lad who coaches is very good, along with the reps who are understaffed, which i can notice.
ill be back, and the staff are brilliant, good laugh, but theres no getting away with the above points.

The apts are spotless. Cleaners are busy around the hotel all day.

We were all self catering so ate out along the strip most nights. Snack bar was ok.

The hotel is located on the sea front there is a lovely small beach along the road 5 mins, you can get taxi boat too san antonio which is better than the bus you see some of the island.

Hotel reception staff very polite, nothing is too much trouble.

Entertainment is very good, reps work very hard but they are under staffed there are about five of them there should be eight for a complex that size. Thomas Cook took over company and cut down on staff.

Frostie and Danny worked their socks off and they do a fantastic job of entertaining the children all day and night.

we will be back next yesr seaview XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

just returned from two weeks at the seaview. having been to ibiza 3 times before this has to be the best hotel we have stayed in. we were in hibiscis house. our room had a seaview which was lovely. rooms spotless. maid came in every day to clean and leave plenty of clean towels. we were self catering but ate in the snack bar were the food was lovely. entertainers were excellant. frostie and dannys bohemiem rhapsody has to be heard to be believed. also andy, kerry, laurn, regan and jodie worked really hard day and night to keep us entertained. nice walk into the bay were there is lots of shops and resturants. our favourite had to be moby dicks and the chinise beside it was lovely as well. will defo go back to the seaview. for food shopping walk across the beach to the spar or el paso these are a lot cheaper than the hotel shops just outside the hotel.

The hotel was amazing! Possibly the best we have ever been to (:
The rooms are spotless & clean towels & sheets are given everyday which says it all really. Our room overlooked the sea & was very spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen & a bathroom you could have had a dance in

The food was brilliant! Plenty of variety, definately something for everyone. The only bad thing i have to say about it is that they had pork every night, in one form or another, but apart from that i can't fault it at all.

The location is just perfect as the bus stop was just outside & you could get into the buzz of san antonio bay if you wanted to quite easily.

The staff were always friendly & couldn't do enough for you.

The entertainment team were brilliant. They tried their hardest to please everyone & the kids loved them to bits. Their is 3 entertainment bars, all with different things, suited for different age groups going on which was helpful.

Hopefully we are going to return in October 08, as we enjoyed it so much. It is perfect for families & couples alike. Don't listen to any bad reviews, its AMAZING!!!

My husband and myself stayed at the Sirenis Seaview for 2 weeks in June 2008. I must say it was one of the best holidays we have ever had.

The Hotel certainly stands up to its 4 star status it really is immaculate, you constantly see staff cleaning in what ever part of the Hotel you are in day or night. We were self catering so we ate out for every meal but we also ate lunch in the Hotel snack bar often and found it adequate and very reasonably priced.

I must say we will return there but next time we will take our grandchildren with us because the entertainment in the hotel is the best we have ever seen for kids.

There is a bus stop right outside the front door which runs at 5 past the hour until midnight it will take you into San Antonio where there is numerous bars and excellent restaurants and also a lovely harbour where you can catch a taxi boat to any beach including Port De Torrent which is 100yards from The Sirenis Seaview you can take the bus or taxi boat either way the bus is 1 euro 40 cents and the taxi boat is 3 euros 50 cents.

The beach which is 100 yds on the right as you leave the Hotel is very nice there is also a reasonable supermarket just across the beach but beware the sunbeds on the beach will cost you 6 euros each and a further 6 euros for a sun canopy.

We have just returned from Sirenis Country Club Hotel and stayed in the Sunflower House, self catering. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. Unfortunately it crashed with rain and thunder and lightening storms almost the whole week we were there. It was tremendous value for money and we would certainly go back if we ever went to the same place twice. The swimming pools are beautifully kept and the gardens make a lovely stroll. The reps work very hard at entertaining and are there at hand to offer advice and help. All in all its a great place for families.

We stayed for one week as Self Catering and stayed in a studio in the sunflower complex our room overlooked the sea it was breathtaking waking up every morning. I have to say it was one of the best holidays ive been on. My child was only 2 and i have to admit he would have enjoyed it more if he was older. This hotel was be ideal if you had a family of kids aged between 4 - 12 there is plenty for them to do the sun centre team spend their day tiring the kids out so there ready to hit the hay that night. The weather was great except for one huge storm. The hotel is very clean and wherever you look there is a staff member cleaning something. The boat that you get at the beach is 6 euros return to San Antonio and the kids love it, it leaves and returns ever hour. The bus goes to San Antonio every hour too from outside the hotel. On Mondays and Thursdays there was a fantastic gui playing Jazz tunes and he played nearly every request and of course every night the sun centre team sang and danced their hearts out, not always the best performers but they give it their all and who argues when every child in the hotel is transfixed and singing and dancing along. Food was great, Drink was great, prices were fine all in all a fantastic holiday. I WILL BE BACK.

On arrival the reception staff were very efficient. as there were two couples we were asked if we would like rooms beside each other, these were on the groung floor with a view over the sea.
The reception/ sitting area/bar area has loads of sofa,s and comfortable sided chairs.
Dual entertment one lot in the bar area for the non kids brigade and the outside stage area for the kids, so best of both worlds.
This was the best self catering complex that i have stayed at and at 57 years of age there has been a few.

Booked this as a last minute holiday and paid a good price for half board. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and there is a nice beach near to the complex but not much else. although a ten minute stroll will bring you into the resort but we thought it looked a little tacky and not to our liking. There is a bus service just outside the hotel every hour up to midnight to San Antionio which is only about 15 mins and that is a lovely place to go day and night and not a bit like I expected it has a beautiful harbour and nice bars etc. The hotel food was plentiful but if we had been there for longer than a week we would of found somewhere else to eat as a little boring. If you have children though I think you would find it very good as they do cater with a special childrens menu with their own buffet bar. The breakfasts were very good however with lots of choice.

To sum up this is a fantastic place to go for families as they are very well catered for both day and night with lots of activities on offer and maybe out of season maybe for couples as it is a little quieter!! We probably will not return until maybe we have grandchildren to take!!

We have been to Seaview 6 times since 1997 and are going again in May this year. We always said we wouldnt go to the same place more than once but we find that everywhere we go we compare it to seaview and the others always fall short.

The pool is fantastic, the tiles are colour coded so the lighter the tile the shallower the water so even if your little ones cant read the signs just tell them to stay away from the dark tiled areas. Also you walk into the water like you do the beach so no sharp edges or deep drops. There are always plenty of sunbed although to get the best position you do need to join in with the sunbed rush in the morning.

There is always something to do, the entertainers always try to find things to suit everyone, particularly the kids. As we have been going since our kids were 5 and 1 it shows how good it is as they are now 17 and 13 and there is still plenty for them to do.

Also we have noticed that there are a number of staff who have ben there every year and they wouldnt keep coming back to work there every season if it wasnt nice so that is a recommendation in itself.

There is an outdoor stage which is used most evenings but if the weather is not good they use the indoor entertainment room which is huge. There is also a seperate cocktail lounge area, a cinema room and internet room and even a quiet reading room. There is also a nightclub bar in the basement of the hotel but this has never caused us any disturbance.

The rooms are more than adequate although the self catering facilities in the studio's is very basic but hey who gos on holiday to cook anyway?

The self catering one bedroom apartments are larger and have huge balconies.

We have done both self catering and half board and both are good. We are going half board this time and have always found the food to be very good.

OVerall the hotel is great, the only thing that ever lets this hotel down is the guests.....sometimes people need to show a little more respect for other guests and the staff. Although the staff are there to serve you and help you on your holiday this does not mean that you should speak down to them and treat them like lackies! As with everywhere the drunken behaviour of some guests can be quite anoying to others but thats not the hotels fault!

All in all cant wait to go to seaview again and would happily recommend it to anyone but would suggest that lager louts and the 'older' genereation may like to stay elsewhere as Seaview is definatley for families.

This was our fourth visit to this hotel we booked self catering and upgraded to half board on arrival which worked out much cheaper, and also gives you the advantage of having a fridge. We had room 5309 in Petuna House absolutely fantastic room, view of pool and beach extremely large balcony definitely recommend this room. The food in restuarant was very good and always lots of variety, the hotel was full whilst we were there and due to cut backs in staff quantity, there were times in the restuarant when tables were not cleared or not set, but we just asked a member of the staff and they sorted it. We found the entertainments team this year not very sociable, they quite often wouldn't acknowledge you when you walked past them and they never came and chatted during the day as they have in the past, they only seemed happy when they were on stage at night messing about with each other. The pool was closed 6 times in two weeks due to people letting there children use the pool as a toilet which was a bit annoying, no inflatables still in pool. We had to get up by 7am to get sunbeds and umbrellas but this got esier to the end of the holiday as a lot of people went home just before us. We would go back to this hotel but we did find a change since we last went two years ago.

Great hotel with lots of facilities and very clean. There are not enough sun umbrellas and you need to be up at about 8am to get one. If you wanted a pool-side bed, even earlier. The pool got closed seven (yes seven)times during our 14 days. The longest was for 24hrs due to vomit. The shortest 3 hours due to a poo. The pool is so big and there are so many people that one accident closes off such a big area. They would have been far better making two pools so at least one could stay open. The staff were all very polite and friendly and the entertainment ranged from the rep shows(generally carcrashes, but the kids liked them) to the brilliant"African footprints". My 10 year old daughter went to the kids club once and wouldn't go back. She said it was boring as they were just told to entertain themselves for 2 hours with a game of twister.

Visited in mid August having previously been on 3 occasions in June (school policy!) and as you'd expect the hotel was extremely busy (and noisy).

We stayed in the Almond House (room 3028) which was on the lower ground floor and was very quiet thankfully (having stayed previously in a room overlooking the pool). The room was clean and quite spacious as it was set out for disabled guests. We did have a faulty air con unit which leaked water into the room but it was fixed within an hour of reporting it to reception.

Food in the restaurant was excellent - with a good selection. I defy anyone not to find something that they like at dinner. We did work out that it would have been much cheaper (£600) to book self catering and then pay for the half board option direct with the hotel.
Snack bars were OK and service was very efficient.

The location isn't the best but it doesn't seem to matter as most things are only a bus ride/taxi ride or water taxi away...and the walks into the livelier parts only take 10 or 15 minutes.

Hotel staff were first class - nothing else to say on the matter.

The Hotel provides it's own entertainment on most evenings (make a point of watching Abbi - Marguerita Prakatan in disguise but very funny). The Reps tried hard and it was OK but this isn't the main purpose of the holiday.

The only down side was the sunbeds and umbrellas. It became virtually impossible to get to the pool at times as the sunbeds were 3 deep and you did have to be up fairly early to ensure that you got an umbrella. The hotel should ensure that there is at least 1 umbrella for every 2 sunbeds.

Would definitely recommend this hotel - good value for the money.

We stayed for 2 weeks on half board and we found the food to be terrible. It was cold, there was no variety, we came across dirty cups and plates on more than one occasion and our youngest son got a burger that was pink in the middle.

The location of the hotel was not great but it was a nice 10 to 15 min walk to shops and bars.

Staff in the hotel were friendly and efficent.

The entertainers really tried their best and worked long hours, however, we expected to see more professional acts for the money that we paid.

We would visit this hotel again but on a self catering basis and definetly not half board.

Just back from the Seaview. Arrived at 11.30am and didnt get room until 2.00pm, so be warned if arriving on an early flight.
The hotel is beautiful and the pool is large with varying depths which could have better signage to tell you about the depths.
We were given room 3201 in Almond House, really big and spacious, after first night we realised why it is so big, its to compensate for the noise!! The bedroom area is over the stairs which are main access from pool area to this block. You heard every flip-flop,every giggle, every arguement and every conversation going by people returning to their room!!
During our 14 nights we had 4 outside proffessional acts and every other night was the reps! They did try hard and did work long hours but there is only so many spin off shows you can take.
We up graded to half board for one night it was a cattle market, everyone complained that night, i do think we hit it on a bad night as everyone we spoke to said it was ok.
The brochure doesnt tell you about the walk into the bars, restaurents etc. it is a good 15 min walk in and quite remote. Wouldnt walk this road on my own. There is a bus outside of hotel but by 3rd stop its packed. There is some beach side cafes at beautiful beach beside hotel but we found them pricey and not great for evening meals. As said beach beautiful but unfortunately for us a shoal of jelly fish had arrived when we got there, but still an idyllic beach.

The sunbed situation is ridiculous. At welcome meeting you are told there are plenty of sunbeds for everyone which is true, but still you get the idiots up at 2 in the morning making their claim and then not turning up to 4 in afternoon to sit on them. We sat on balcony and heard one woman very proudly telling her family she had their beds sorted for the next day, at 11.10pm now thats sad.

Our 16 year old had a ball, made lots of mates but didnt go to escape club.
Our other child thoroughly enjoyed themselves too but did find the walk in evening a bit hard.

If entertainment was better and few more shops and bars nearer would consider going back.
Supermarket over from hotel is just a rip off, try one over the beach or first one you come to when walking in to the town on left hand side before the gold crown bar.

The cleanliness of this complex was just first class, the food was good as we were self catering, but could have done with a bit more choice.

The location is spot on, a nice wee walk to the bay or get the bus just outside the hotel on the hour 1.25 euros not bad and the lovely beach just at the front of the hotel. There is also a very good supermarket across the beach. Up the stairs next to the place they go diving, very cheap and next to it a good place for breakfast 3.50 euros.

The hotel staff were all very nice even the maids rooms done every day, the bar staff and reception very kind and helpful.

The reps did a first class job where they got the energy from I don’t know all the kids just loved them and the adults. The entertainment was very good for the kids and some of the acts they had on were very good also. We will be back at this hotel and still hope to have all the Scottish, English, Welsh and of course the Irish great mix of people and good fun.

The Seaview has to be seen to believe, so book up and find out just how nice this place is for you.

PS if you get a taxi to the SUMA supermarket you will save a lot of money its just up past the 1st stop on the bus from the hotel down to the bay past the first set of traffic lights on your left going to San Antonio town. You will just love it and the rooms are so big.

we went on a self catering basis but we upgraded to half board when we got there we found this to be a lot cheaper that actually going half board from the start, it was 15 euro's per day for an adult and 7.50 euro for a child up to the age of 12, it was a buffet restaurant and you can go up as often as you like, the food was excellant and there was lots of variety to suit everyone, my son and i are picky eaters and we found lots to eat every day.

the cleanliness of the hotel was excellant, rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels if required. the pool area was lovely a big freeform pool, no inflatables allowed in though for safety reasons. the beach is small but is only a two minute walk away from the hotel, the location of the hotel is well away from all the buzz but it's only a nice 15 minute walk along the waterfront to get to the bay, the bus stops right outside the hotel if you fancy a trip into san antonio town and theres also a water taxi from the beach costing only a couple of euros, very cheap. we find it a good location as you can get a good sleep at night and your not far from all the entertainment.

the hotel staff are all very friendly from the cleaners to the bar staff and the people on reception are great too. the entertainment was great when there was professional entertainers in and the reps done there best too. the reps were very good with all the children, they get entertained all day long.

i would definitely go back to this hotel again and being a v.i.p member you get lots of extra benefits too.

The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and most were helpful.

The food was not too bad but you can only eat so many salads before they get boring.

Location was quiet but great for kids with the beach only a few minutes walk away.

Entertainment was great especially for the kids and the reps worked very hard. My only complaint is that I left my camera under a sun lounger and when I returned it was gone.

I know this was my own fault but no one seemed to take it seriously and it took 3 days before anyone even took my room number and wrote it down and that was only because I insisted they do.

I think they should tell you about these things in the welcome meetings when they tell you about timeshare people.

Even though this happened I would still go back as it is a lovely place.

(2 adults, 1 boy 14 yrs, 1 girl 10 yrs)

We stayed for 2 weeks in a one bedroom self-catering apartment in the Sunflower house, which we found adequate for our needs. Although the kitchen was tiny, it was equipt with a fridge, combi microwave/grill, toaster, kettle and sufficient crockery/cutlery. The fitted wardrobes in the bedroom contained a safe and were large enough for the 4 of us to unpack our clothes. We all found the beds rather hard and uncomfortable, but the maid came nearly everyday and made them for us. We had a very large balcony with side views of the sea.

The main hotel area was clean and nicely decorated, although being smokers the total no smoking ban was a little inconvenient to us at times. The entertainment room was set out in a military style and not inviting at all, as was the entertainment, so we didn't bother. Pool bar and and area were ok and food not bad.

We were disappointed that the Seaview has not got a beach in front of the hotel. There is a small mall of shops and a cafe immediately outside the front of the hotel, although most had closed up for the season and the couple open were not very well stocked, but we managed.

San Antonia bay is just a 15 minute walk away with it's many shops, bars and restaurants. We found a little cafe/bar called the Oasis just off the main strip down a side road to the left, well worth a visit if you yearn for some nice home-cooking. My husband loved the mega breakfast, being a fussy eater whilst abroad this deserves a mention!

On the whole, we enjoyed our 2 weeks and the weather was beautiful every day. From our experience of foreign travel, I would rate this hotel 3* not the 4* it currently boasts.

We were located on the first floor in Geranium with a fab view of the pool and sea...umm apart from a palm tree slap bang in the middle! We were a little disappointed with the kitchen facilities in our room no toaster and very cramped for space but apart from that is was good. The room was cleaned daily, towels changed etc. Everything was in reasonable repair.

We ate at the pool side bar once which was mediocre and at the hotel dining room on our last day..we did not go in until 8pm and the staff were busy clearing away, there was very limited choice left and we felt hurried to leave..so go earlier. There are ample eating places down the road which caters for most tastes...well you wont starve thats for sure!!

Hotel location suited us, its only a short walk to shops and bars etc. Buses ran regularly but were very busy, taxis and water transport good also.

Hotel staff were polite and helpful at all times. Oh a grumpy waiter one lunch time but he was a real chirpy chappy in the evening..must have encountered a stroppy tourist?!They all work very hard.

Entertainment was pretty good, some better than others but catered for most age groups we felt. Not sure about teenagers tho'?

We found that a lot of places were closed but that is due to it being the end of the season but you can still get everything you need. There were lots of sales on if you like a bargain. The weather was brilliant and we met loads of great people.

Big tip...when you arrive...chat with someone with a good tan...'cos they have been there for a while and can give you all the info and tips for a good holiday!

Just got home from a fantastic, but too short, 7 nights at The Sea view this afternoon and we've (me, my wife and our 2 kids aged 10 & nearly 3) never been so gutted to leave a hotel/holiday before in our lives!!

The only complaint I have, like everyone else, is the prices the hotel charge for drinks as they are blatantly making a mint off us holidaymakers. Out of order, but it didn't spoil our holiday.

The hotel itself is excellent, very very very clean, very helpful staff especially on reception. Upon arrival we were allocated a ground floor room in Almond house with an open balcony leading out to the main pool, great I thought, not so for the missus who demanded a different room as our 3yo could easily wander off into the pool if we left the patio doors open. So off we marched back to reception and told them our problem, half an hour later we were sat on the balcony of our 2nd floor room in Geranium house with a cracking view of both the pool and the sea :-)

The pool was excellent too, never closed once whilst we were there, always plenty of sunbeds and parasols and always very clean.

We paid for half board before we arrived and am very pleased we did, the food dished up in the restaurant was spot on with a great variety of dishes every night.

The entertainment team worked tirelessly every day and in our opinion are no worse than in other complexes. OK Disco Stu cant sing to save his life and 1 or 2 of the others dont seem to put much effort into dancing when the party songs are on, but if you worked 14 hours a day would you feel like it?

They all do a fantastic job of "entertaining" and made our holiday a whole lot better than it would've been.

I had a few good games of adult water polo and a few good rucks with Adam, my son played pretty much everything with all of them and my 3yr daughter now has the cartoon heroes dance off to a tee....anyone who slates their performance as entertainers is really expecting far too much in my opinion!

All in all we had a fantastic time, met some great people and watched our kids make some great friends, we ate & drunk well and enjoyed ourselves from 8am til midnight every day, far too many plus points to mention.

The only one I will mention is watching the sunset, we ventured into San Antonio 1 night and sat in Savannah with a cocktail and watched the sunset to some chill out music....an experience i'll never forget. Then went and had a lovely meal, as for the rest of San Antonio, in my opinion its a bit of a dump really but each to their own i suppose!

Anyone considering going here then do so, you'll love it!!!!

I am 15, and I went to the Sirenis Seaview with my mum and dad, and my younger sister (11). We went for 2 weeks, and we had booked to be self catering, but after the first night, decided that it was too far to walk down to the main restaurants to get food, so we booked up for half board. Food in the htel restaurant was excellent. Different food everynight, was great.
Drinks in the bar weren\'t too pricey, €1.90 for Coke, but then again I wasn\'t buying it.

The entertainment was the best part, something to do everyday. There were 3 different clubs, Dizzy, Shades and Escape. To join escape you had to be 11-16, so me and my sister joined that. Unfortunatly I didn\'t join in with anything until the last week, which I regret. But still had a fantastic time.
The entertainers were great, the best ones I have met. They let you push them in the pool, they talk to you and have a laugh. I have got two of the reps email adress\'s so I can keep in touch.

The hotel was very clean, cleaned everyday, fresh towels everyday. The pool was closed twice, for two incidents, one someone was sick in the pool, then someone pooed in the pool. Excellent how they made everyone get out and closed it, while it was cleaned.

The hotel staff were friendly, and helped you. Although I found it difficult to communicate with some of them.

I would recomend this hotel to anyone!
ANd hope to go back next year for 3 weeks!!!

Hotel clean staff friendly food OK in snack bar as self catering however ate in restaurant one night and was very good

Hotel is a little out of the way but we liked this as a nice walk to San Antonio Bay but needed to take bus, taxi or water taxi into San Antonio which after 10pm are very busy. The bus is frequented by very bad mannered locals who pay no attention to queueing or small children(recommend water taxi is just about the quietest) However after 6.30 only goes to the Bay not Port Des Torrent

Major downside is the fact that Street Robbery is rife in the area and we were not warned of this by the Reps even though one had been robbed and one had been attempted to be robbed. This takes the form of a drive by robbery by 2 people on a moped without lights driving close to the kerb and grabbing at handbags( PLEASE DO NOT CARRY A HANDBAG EITHER IN YOUR HAND OR CLOSE TO THE ROAD) This is what happened to my wife and to a lady minutes earlier and others over the next days. Unbelievably when we reported this to our Reps one had suffered the same fate earlier and another had a close escape (still no mention at the Welcome Meeting which followed a week after as we had friends fly out later)

Hotel staff excellent and changed lock immediately

Lovely hotel.
Room kept very clean.
Staff always there to help.

Lovely pool areas.

Nice food but slightly expensive.
It’s well worth the 10 minute walk into San Antino bay to get a meal there as very cheap Chinese and English food there.

No complaints at all apart from one was that people were putting towels on the sun loungers before going to bed at night so that if anyone was up after 4am to put there towels out you had no chance of getting a sun lounger as all them had been taken.

That was my only complaint about this hotel!!!!

We arrived to find that our room wasn't ready, this was about 8:30am, we had travelled early morning arrived very tired hot and sweaty then had to wait for our room.

The Room was nice, ideal for a family of 4. The balcony over looked the beach and bay and was very picturesque. We was on the second floor with just one floor above us, only problem being was that the third floor balcony's were set back and overlooked the second floor balcony's, meaning no privacy what so ever. We was sat one afternoon on the balcony and was showered with sand from a towel being draped over the balcony above, water dripping on us from a wet pair of shorts and cigarette ash flicked onto us. We had to visit the people above and explain to them what was happening. We feel that it wasn't the guests above at fault but the hotel should have thought about this and erected some sort of roofing over the second floor balcony's.

The room was cleaned everyday but we noticed that the floor wasn't cleaned properly most days and had to use the broom provided to clean it ourselves. The electricity was switched on via a card slot next to the door, you inserted your door key-fob into the slot to turn it on, but when leaving you had to remove the key-fob to take your key with you, which in turn turned off all the electricity including the room air conditioning hmmm, not very well thought out, it would have been nice to return to a nice cool room.

We was self catering and the small kitchenette was fine for our needs except we wasn't supplied a toaster, and the tea cups were very small, a proper tea mug each would have been very welcome. The TV didn't work but was repaired very swiftly by the staff, the kids found various kids cartoon channels and there was English news channels too.

We ate most evenings at the poolside restaurant, the food was generally quite good, service was slow but understaffed because the staff worked very hard, Well that's the bad points, our view of improvements that could be made, but I suppose not essential.

Putting aside the points above I would recommend the hotel and the surroundings to people in our situation a family of 4 needing to be away from a busy town but still plenty to keep us occupied. There was a good choice of excursions made available to us at the introduction meeting of which we went on 3 of them, Island paradise, make a splash and the hippy market. We would highly recommend all 3.

The pool was excellent shallow areas for smaller kids then slowly sloping deeper to a larger swimming area for older kids and adults, with at least 2 life guards on duty who seemed very vigilant. The sunloungers were all reserved with towels for the first couple of days but a large amount of new loungers arrived and made it a lot easier to find one without the early morning trek to reserve one.

The evening entertainment was generally very good, the acts that appeared were of a good standard and the on-site entertainers worked very very hard. The sound system was in need of repairs as some of the mics made the entertainers sound like Norman Collier. We plan to return to the Hotel again and really enjoyed ourselves.

On arrival the hotel looked very luxurious with a smart marble floored reception area. We did have to wait for our room for about 45 mins, but this disappoinment was forgotten when we recieved our key for our 1 bedroom apartment.

We were accommdated in Petunia house on the 3rd floor, with stunning views over the small bay and beach, which was easily reached via a short walk from reception area of the hotel.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the maid service was every day, they made your beds and changed bedding twice a week. The apartment was ample in size with a large balcony.

Hotel staff were quite friendly, and the waiter service during the night-time entertainment we very polite and helpful.

The location was a little bit out of the way, but a nice walk, by the sea.

The entertainment was very good with lots of enthusiasm and hard work from the airtours entertainers who put in long hours, they deserve a big pat on the back, everybody we spoke too said the same, so I cant understand why some postings say the entertianment was poor or amauterish- what do they want robbie live or madonna- get real! These guys and girls are stars !!

We would be sure to visit the hotel again.

We booked a studio which consisted of twin beds, 1 sofa bed and a cot. we also took our own travel cot as we had 2 very young kids ( 7 months and 2 years.) This made for pretty cramped conditions but we managed as it was only a room for washing, changing and sleeping in!

The hotel at first sight looked very luxurious, the standard expected of a 4 star hotel. The entrance hall was huge with marble finish, large setees in the reception area and ice cold air conditioning!

All areas of the hotel appeared spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Nothing seemed a problem for domestic staff even when our 2 year old became violently sick on 3 of our beds, Cleaned up without any fuss.

Comments on the food are mixed I'm afraid. On our arrival we hurried to the snack bar as it closed at 11pm and ordered a quick burger and chips. To our delight we were served very quickly which is unusual for Spain but we found out why when we bit into the totally raw burgers! Beware!!
Breakfast were passable.

There were outbreaks of food poisoning, gastric flu and chickenpox during our stay but not necessarily due to the hotel food.

The hotel is situated near a small but nice beach but we found out very quickly that it was far from ideal for access if you have a childrens buggy with you ( never mind the 2 that we had! )

The heat on the beach is unbearable for children and if you have your kids attending the kids club and creche facilities in the hotel it means never ending shuttle runs up and down to the hotel at start and finish times. There were also numbers of jellyfish in the sea at knee depth which led to numerous people receiving fairly substantial stings, thankfully when I was there only adults were affected.

We were forced to attend the beach on our first 3 days there as there were no sunloungers available around the massive pool area even at 8.30 am. ( major issue) The ones on the beach cost me £11.00 a day...I had already paid for the service at the hotel I thought?

I ( and many others) complained to the reception manager about the reserving of sunloungers as the hotel stated that they had a strict policy not allowing it to happen, but of course didn't enforce it. We even stooped to putting our towels on beds at 3.30 am one morning before we went to bed and visited the pool at 8.30 am to find them dumped in the pool.
Understandable because it hacked me off as well.

I even suggested a bar coded card to issue beds to hotel patrons or stamping beds with room numbers to give everyone a chance but the managers solution was for me to remove the towels from beds and at the same time get involved in a punch up if that's what it took! I informed him that I was the client and he was the management but at that point he walked away from me. Shocking really!!

This issue alone would be enough for me not to revisit or recommend this hotel.

The result was that during my holiday neither my wife or I had to rise at 7am to ensure we had an umbrella to shade the kids and a sunlounger to lie on. On holiday I thought the idea was to get up when you wanted, not by an alarm clock??

The hotel is approx 3km from San Antonio Bay and a bus runs from outside the hotel every hour but was always packed and according to others unbearably hot and sweaty! On their recommendation and with young kids we didn't even go there.

The hotel staff to a person with the exception of the manager I complained to were excellent, courteous and pleasant on every ocassion. They also worked amazingly hard over very long hours.

The entertainment was reasonable. We had our 2 year old in the creche for 2 hours each day and our 7 year old in kids club each day. The British Staff were fully trained and provided an excellent service.

The live entertainment was a combination of cheesy amateur rep standard and pretty damn good live bands! Downside was that there didn't appear to be anything set up at night for teenagers. Not ideal if you want to try and keep the 14yr olds off the beer!

Numerous swings and roundabouts to consider but I for one would definately not visit with my family again or recommend to anyone else!

Firstly, may I say that the presentation of the hotel itself is excellent.
The spacious reception area is immaculate, with full air conditioning, and marble everywhere. It looks like a 4* should look.

Room :
We had a 1 bedroom studio, in Petunia block, which was excellent. The lounge area has 2 sofa's (used as beds), coffe table, dressing table and TV.
The Kitchen is small, but well equipped with sink, small kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and 2 ring cooker.
We were on Half Board, but appreciated the kettle and fridge :)

The Bathroom was well maintained, with small bath with mixer shower, toilet and bidet, again all very clean and in a good state of repair. The wash basin is actually outside of the bathroom, inbetween the living area and the bedroom and bathroom - quite handy really.

The bedroom was quite spacious with twin beds. There was a large wardrobe, with plenty of space, and also 5 drawers inside, plus the safe (safe rental was €2 per day + €10 deposit)

Both the living area nad the bedroom had patio doors leading onto the huge balcony, which had a white plastic furniture set, and was a nice suntrap.

As these rooms are on the top floor of the block we were in, and the balcony has high sides, there's a lot of privacy. The room couldn't be faulted at all.

Food And Drink :
The hotel offers B&B or Half Board, aswell as having 2 bars inside, 2 snack/drink bars near the pool, a pub, and a restaurant that alternates between Mexican and A La Carte.

Half board is via a Buffet style Restaurant.
The restaurant is, like the rest of the hotel, very spacious and superbly decorated.
Breakfast consists of a wide variety of foods : Croissants and Pastries, cheeses, cooked meats, salads, several varieties of cereals, cooked items such as bacon, sausage, chorizo, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, omelette, fried eggs, beans, battered cauliflower - plenty of fruits, and... chips. All the food was at the temperatures it should be.
Where it was let down, was the quality on some occasions, and the fact that trays of popular items such as bacon, fried eggs and omelettes were often empty for very long periods of time, and we ended up having to request that the staff fetch someone to replenish them.

Drinks in the hotel are quite expensive compared to other hotels, bars & restaurants in the area, and they refuse to offer hot drinks at the evening meal, only cold drinks and alcohol.

Evening meal was again Buffet Style, and again, there was always a large selection on offer, including items aimed at children.

Some of the food was not of a very good quality however, and if you don't happen to like the main meal choices, you can't exactly go somewhere else unless you pay.
Much of the food was nice, but too often it was let down in some way.

A week of the food was definitely long enough, as we were craving something with a little more flavour and quality.

Pool :
The pool is huge, and very clean.
There are two shallow areas suitable for paddling & younger children, however, there are two dangers involved.
The 2 areas are not seperated by anything other than a painted yellow line. Step over this line, and the depth changes drastically.

Several young children got into considerable difficulty by going too far when their parents were distracted for a moment - in fact, some adults fell foul of the sudden change too.
The second danger is that the shallow areas, and the pool edge, are covered in a non-slip surface, however, this surface is like sandpaper, I lost count of the number of toddlers and small children that got cuts and grazes.
There is a small seperate pool for young children, but it was generally full.
They have 2 life guards patrolling, although at times, they seem to disappear inside for lengthy periods.

There's quite a large terrace around the pool, this is where you will find the sun loungers, aswell as the stage and large seating area.

There are nowhere near enough sun loungers available, and despite the hotel having an official policy of no reserving sunbeds, if you look around the pool at 3am, you will see almost every sunlounger has a towel on, and the staff do nothing to stop or discourage it.

Many people put towels on sunloungers, but only actually used them for an hour or two. It got to the point that many of us would simply remove towels from a sunbed if noone was using it after an hour, or there were no signs of use, such as sandals etc nearby.

Complaints to the staff made no difference at all, the standard reply was "we can only suggest you remove towels off a sun lounger that hasn't been used in an hour", but we also saw staff help people to reserve sunloungers at stupid times.

Gym & Jaccuzi
The gym is free, however, it's in a small, ovenlike room, and half the equipment doesn't work, and the items that do are in an extremely poor condidion.
The Jacuzzi is €5 per person for 30mins, and although large, the room is simply about 10inches wider than the tub, so there's almost no room to change etc, and you cannot lock the door.
After 15minutes, we'd had 3 different sets of kids run in, so we gave up on it.

We didn't try the sauna as it was out of order, however, this is also €5 per person for 30mins.

Entertainment.
Oh dear.
When we booked, we stipulated that we needed somewhere that catered well for teenagers.
We were told that there was a full 11-16 programme, with excursions to diving, bowling, Jeep Safari etc, aswell as evening entertainment suitable for teenagers.
However, the Escape "club" only had one trip - "3 hours of bowling, with a meal & drink for €12", which was actually one game, a burger & a coke - about €8 worth.

During the daytime, there were activities going on, but there wasn't a great variety, and most of them seemed to take forever to organise, the kids easily got bored with the messing about, and only a few of these events were teenage specific.

The entertainment team were friendly and enthusiastic, but extremely amateur.

Every night, starting about 8pm there's a "Mini Disco", where they have a selection of about 12 tracks in total, of party music (Cartoon Hero, mimic man etc), but most of this disco is actually spent with the entertainers talking & messing about with each other.

After the "disco", there's prizes for those that took part in activities - only one person in a team would get a medal, usually whever the leader got on with the most, then there is bingo. €2 per ticket (double the cost of everywhere else we've ever been), and you don't win cash, you win Bar Vouchers (a preloaded card), so if you win, you are tied to spending it in the hotel, at it's inflated prices, so you have no freedom to, for example, treat your family to a meal out on the winnings.

After bingo, there's "Adult fun Time", basically a 30minute party game, with 4 volunteers on stage, doing things like musical chairs, kiss as many people in 2mins as possible etc - all with the amateurish skills of the entertainers.

Lastly, there's a "show". 4 nights, it is the entertainment crew providing the "entertainment".
They put everything they have into it, but unfortunately, they aren't much more than kids themselves as a whole (1 or 2 exceptions), and most of the songs and dance routines were horribly out of tune, or poorly synchronised.
I don't blame the entertainment crew, they were really nice people, I blame Airtours for using poorly trained staff.

The 3 professional shows on the main stage during the week, and we had a mixed bag. There was an ABBA tribute group (2 girls), who were out of tune for most of the set, and the dance moves were mechanical, and lifeless.

The second show was a Supremes tribute, and they were VERY good, by far the best entertainment of the week.

Lastly, there was a Magician. He wasn't too bad, but he seemed to go from very good to bog-standard Paul Daniels-esque tricks.

The younger kids did love it, but the teenagers weren't too impressed. At about 11pm, they repeated the "mini disco" for the youngsters, there was absolutely nothing done to try and provide for the large numbers of teenagers present at night, who generally ended up around the pool tables. Lastly, there was "Lucky 14", basically an "open the box" game, to win, yes, "bar vouchers".

They do have soem acts on in one of the inside bars, but it feels like a rather formal room, and the kids didn't feel comfortable in there.

We didn't use the Nautilus pub (in the basement), as under-16's were only allowed in at certain times, and it was generally Karaoke night.

A bit more thought and effort by Airtours, and it could have been a great week of entertainment, but it seemed very amateur, and disjointed. Again, I don't want to blame the entertainment crew, they did the best they could, but you can't make a song and dance show work if half can't sing, and the other half can't dance.

Location :
The hotel is quite a distance from San Antonio, right at the edge of Port Des Torrent beach.

The beach itself was very nice, even though we didn't use it much.
It's quite a small cove, but there are 2 cafe's on the beach, pedalo hire, a small jetski/motor boat hire place, and a jetty where you can get the water taxi into San Antonio, or Calla Bassa beach - it costs €3.50 per person 1 way.
The beach seemed pretty clean, and the water was very shallow for some way out.

The Bus to San Antonio stops just outside the hotel, and they operate a minimum fare of €1.20 for under 9km, it does take a rather indirect route, but is the cheapest transport to use. Taxi's cost ~€7-€8 to San Antonio.

Over the road from the hotel, you will find several shops, and a snackbar.

The supermarket is owned by the hotel owners, and is very expensive, you are much better off walking down the road for 10-15mins to where there are many more shops, bars, cafe's etc, and prices are much, much lower.

One example of price gouging by the hotels supermarket is fresh milk - something every self catering family will want - €3.40 for a liter, compared to €1.35 down the road - almost everything has a large markup, as they know many people can't be bothered with a 15min each way walk.

The week could have been fantastic, but there were so many little, niggly things, that spoiled it, plus the letdown with the entertainment.

Speaking to people that had been several times before, it appeared that this year, the complex is nowhere near as good as previous years. Almost everyone we spoke to was disappointed with it, and said they wouldn't return, which is a shame, as it could be such a nice place with a little more care and effort put into it.

We certainly wont return to that hotel, nor will we go to any Sirenis hotel again, this is the second one, and both have been a major disappointment.

This was our third time at the Seaview in 4 years. We like it because it\'s more upmarket & you can tell it\'s well run. It\'s excellent for the kids, I defy any kids to be bored there.

Always kept clean, staff generally very nice & helpful.

Restaurant food good, although the food in the poolside bar leaves a bit to be desired, good variety, but fussy people like my husband moan about the way they cook it!!

Pool fantastic but cold before middle of June, although most people have their towel out before breakfast, we witnessed a lot of people coming out around 5am to put towels down. No inflateables in the pool, but no one tells you until you buy them & try to use them, (the hotels own shop sell them!)

Lifeguards absolutely excellent, some say over zealous but they take no chances, they\'re in before you know there\'s a problem - brilliant.

Very nice beach next door to the Hotel.

Bus outside the hotel to San Antonio only 1Euro each way & takes 10 mins.

Turn left outside the hotel & 10 mins walk along the bay is where all the shops/restaurants are, very good choice, on the way you walk past the best fish restaurant I have ever visited, attracts a lot of famous people & deservedly so. There\'s a bowling alley in the town & many childrens play areas.

So any downside? Well yes, this year everything seemed a lot more expensive both in & out of the complex. As a family who prefer to eat/drink off the cuff & not follow a routine it\'s perfect, but we didn\'t go mad & managed to spend 1400 Euros. So it would be nice to have an AI option, & this years entertainment was the poorest I\'ve seen. Other years they get in pool with the kids & do the cartoon heroe's rep song & splashing but this year they just played music around the pool

But ultimately, I\'d definately recommend this place, only place I\'ve been that was better was a cruise, but that\'s another story........

Just returned from the Seaview and had a fantastic 2 weeks. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which was great and the balcony was massive. We went in the last week in June and the air-conditioning was already on. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were really friendly.

We had 2 boys aged 7 and 10 who loved the pool even though they weren\'t allowed to take any inflatables in, they were in there 6 hours a day! We spoke to a lot of families who had only come for a week but wished they had booked 2.

The hotel decided to tape off the pool area every night so you couldn\'t reserve your sunbed before 7. This was great news for my husband who thought he\'d have to get up at 5!

Every day they showed a family film in the cinema room and you could also catch it on the TV in your apartment. We tried the hotel restaurant once and it was OK but the poolside bar\'s food wasn\'t that nice.

If you come out of the hotel and turn left and walk for about 10 Min's along the bay you come to a street with restaurants, shops and bars. We had some lovely good value meals in a bar called Millennium.

The 4 of us could eat and have a drink for 30 euros. There is also a park with crazy golf, go-karts, trampolines etc which the boys loved. We were lazy and used to catch a taxi back to the Sea view which was only 5 euros.

If you come out of the hotel and turn right you come to the beach and a Spar shop which was much cheaper than the hotel shop.

The bus stop to take you into San Antonio town is just outside but it gets very busy at night and there is no air-conditioning.

We had a one bedroom apartment which was quite spacious for the 4 of us our two kids slept in the living area on sofas which was ok considering there age.the room was cleaned every day our maid was brilliant towels changed on a regular basis, we cannot comment on the food as we ate out every night but the restaurant looked nice and clean on passing.

The hotel is in a good location 5min walk to the beach and a 15-20 min walk into san antonio bay which we did every night it was a nice walk.

The entertainment was of good standard but mostly catered for the younger generation my kids were not that interested the reps put on some good shows and I can promise you that by the end of your holiday you will be singing the cartoon heroes song which had everybody up doing the mimes to it.

We as a family would not go to this hotel again mainly because there was nothing for the kids to do so they were easily bored .

We were in a studio apartment with an amazing sea view and in hindsight with two young children I think we should have booked a 1 bed apartment. The room is quite compact.

We stayed self catering and decided not to try half board as the menu wasn't to our taste (a menu is displayed on a daily basis outside the dining room). We tried the food at the poolside bar on the day we arrived (it was late afternoon) and we only managed to eat half of it as we found it quite inedible. A few days later we did try the bar again and it was an improvement (maybe it depends who is doing the cooking).

The hotel is ideally located for younger children as the main road ends at the hotel there is no passing traffic. The beach is two minutes walk from the hotel and there is a ramp down which is accessible with a buggy but at the end it drops down about 1 ft and it will take two of you to lift the pram onto the sand. The beach is perfect for children, you could call it a cove - quite small but room for the kids to play and easy to keep an eye on them. There are two bars located directly on the beach and we ate at both of them. One is a much more relaxed (almost hippy) type of surroundings with very chilled atmosphere and music and the food was good with friendly service. The other bar is slightly more of a restaurant type but again the food is very good and the service excellent. There are a few shops opposite the hotel (supermarket, a couple of souvenir shops, cafe, etc) but if you take a left turn out of the hotel and stroll for about 15 mins - a lovely walk along the coast line - you come to the next town where there is more choice for dining out and other shops where the prices are slightly more competitive.

Even though we have holidayed early on there was still a full package of activities for the kids with water polo (for adults as well), football, basketball etc. The mini disco between 8.00p.m. and 9.00p.m. (every night) was a big hit with our six year old and the airtours staff worked tirelessly to occupy all the kids with party dances etc.

The hotel is absolutely spotless, ongoing cleaning is visible throughout the day. We would definately go back and look forward to our next holiday thre.

This holiday was allocation on arrival and for what we paid it was very good. It is a large complex with several blocks around the swimming pool, there are 1 bedroom apartments for those self catering or large bedrooms for those on half board.

The complex is aimed at families as is the entertainment, but there were some good shows especially the hypnotist, trying to work out who was actually under was good fun.

The food was typical of the other hotels we have been in, you can always find something. The staff, especially the bar staff were quite amusing, the ones who weren't were very professional.

The down side is the location, quite a long walk to the shops and bars although, there are a couple across the road which belong to the hotel.

We wouldn't go here again only because we didn't like Ibiza.

We stayed at the Sirenis Sea View Country Club at Port Des Torrent.
Our Party consisted of four Adults, all of whom, are just of a pensionable age group.

The rooms that were allocated to us were perfect, in both size and location, with an absolutely fabulous sea view.
The reason we chose this Hotel, was being of a four star rating, and being outside of School Holidays, we had assumed that we were in for a quiet period at the end of the main season.

But, what we actually got was totally uncontrolled, and unsupervised children running riot throughout the Bars and Entertainment areas. This was very dangerous due to the Glasses and Bottles in these places. A disaster waiting to happen.

We were also not very impressed with the fact that a four star Hotel allowed their evening meal dress code to be flouted.

It is disgusting that people were being allowed into the Dining Room in Vests, Shorts and Flip-flops. The Maitre-D should deny access to those who do not want to comply with the Hotel rules.

Also, the dining room is big enough, whereby an area could be cordoned off to accomodate parents who have children with them. thus leaving a quiet area for the more elderly patrons.(This was not just our idea, as we had many complaints to this effect)

The entertainment that we did see was quite good, but could again not relax and enjoy fully, due again to noisy unruly children.

The Hotel Facilities and Staff were Excellent, and everywhere was spotlessly clean, and the Service from all Staff was beyond reproach.

None of our Party would use this Hotel again, only because of the foregoing. But, we would use this chain of Hotels in other resorts and countries, after doing a lot more research into the children aspect etc. etc.

We have just got back from the Sirenis Seaview, early October, and we had a decent week away.

The hotel was very clean, and well presented however, we didn't have a rep on our transfer from the Airport (late night) so we weren't prepared for having to fill out check-in forms at reception on our arrival.

Anyway, it was dark when we got to the room, so couldn't appreciate the seaview till the morning, and it was quite impressive.

The room was spacious enough for a family of 3, with a shower/wc room, kitchenette with hob, fridge, kettle and toaster. The sleeping area was seperated from the 'lounge' by a column partition. This had a sofa and a TV (mainly german, except for BBC world news).

We were going to upgrade to Half Board, but decided not to, as our son is very picky, and preffered to make his snacks in the room, so didn't try the restaurant(s). The bars and snack bar we used were very good though, and the service excellent.

The pool was very big, with loads of sunloungers, and terracing. Only dissappointment being the toddler pool was freezing, so our son wouldn't go in.

Airtours also run a daytime creche, which had a small park next to it, but the climbing frames were a bit big for our son.

There were also Tennis Courts and a 5-A-Side footy pitch, which were shared with the neighbouring Sirenis Aura Hotel.

Entertainment was provided by Airtours, and would be better for slightly older kids (who could participate more) than our 23 month old. A slight criticism was the lack of a 'quiet' indoor area to have a drink. All of the bar areas indoors had music playing quite loud, and we had to stay outside when our son fell asleep in his buggy, and we wanted a 'nightcap'.

Outside the hotel was a strip of shops featuring, a cafe, some souvenier shops, and a supermarket which was owned/run by the hotel. Some items were a bit pricey, but generally it had what we needed for S/C.

The Beach was 5 minutes walk from the hotel entrance, just down a short ramp. Not quite the 'Steep Hill' others have mentioned. The beach was quite small, but not cramped, and this is where a water taxi boat could be caught to San Antonio Bay (3e one way/5e return).

An hourly bus service also runs from the hotel entrance to San Antonio (1.15e/adult).

Overall, the hotel is great for families, but we would have gotten more out of it if our son had been a year or two older.

We travelled on a last minute deal for one week in October 2005. My husband had been to this hotel in May 2005 and was impressed enough for the two of us to return here rather than risk the cheaper "allocated on arrival" deal.

We booked as a self catering package, but rather than visit San Antonio every morning and evening to trawl through the places to eat, (we did this the first day), we decided to upgrade to Half Board (approximately £11 each per day for Breakfast and evening meal, which worked out cheaper than eating in restaurants). It is buffet style, but with lots of choice, enough to get fed up of what to choose! As good as the food was, I would imagine two weeks of the buffet may get a bit monotonous (but then again, the novelty of eating out for so long anywhere starts to wear off anyway!)

The rooms and hotel are spotless, the staff are friendly and helpful. I went to reception on two occasions - one to report the shower as faulty, and once to ask for more shampoo sachets, and on both occasions, by the time I was back in the room there was a knock on the door to solve the problem. (If I had walked any slower they would have reached the room before me.)

My husband had an apartment in May. He said it was much bigger than the studio we had, but as there were only two of us there was plenty of room. I have read the other comments though, but if you had two small children I would imagine that a studio would still be big enough if you are just sleeping there and not spending lots of time in the room.

We do not take part in the evening entertainment whenever we go on holiday, but there seemed to be the usual bingo, karaoke, singers, etc..

The main thing we liked about the accommodation was that if, like us, you just go for the weather, and want to sit quietly on the balcony in the evenings without hearing the usual kids club disco and karaoke pounding through the patio doors then this was ideal. Our room (in the Hibiscus block - each block is named after flowers, Geranium, etc), was far enough away to not be able to hear any noise at all. The corridors were also quiet in the nights.

There is a bus at 5 minutes past the hour all day into San Antonio (20 minutes), or about 1 hour or so stroll. It then leaves San Antonio at half past the hour. 1 Euro 15 cents per adult each way. (Excellent service - you could synchronise your watches by the time they leave!). There is a also a ferry (we didn't use it though so can't comment) from the beach 2 mins walk from the hotel, into San Antonio (3 euros single, 5 return). Tickets are available in Reception.

We never usually go out of the school holiday season, so the only thing that we were really surprised by was the number of children at the hotel during school term time (but I would assume this would be the case in any accommodation and is no criticism of this particular accommodation).

I have read comments from a few months ago about it being "up a steep hill". There are no steep hills between San Antonio and this hotel, and I would say it is one of the few hotels that I have stayed in that is particularly suitable for people with walking difficulties / wheelchair users etc.

We hired a car for 3 days to see some of the island and if you are happy driving abroad I would recommend this. There are beautiful mountain / wooded areas in the north, and Ibiza town in the couth is worth seeing.

The TV had limited channel choice - if you can only speak English it was BBC World or Jeremy Clarkson. (We didn't get a remote control : 18 euros refundable deposit : but I would imagine it would be far easier than trying to work out the button system on the actual TV.)

I have stayed in far worse hotels than this!

We returned on the 2 Oct after one of the best holidays of my long life. We deliberately chose to leave it late in the season to go, to give the children time to go back to school, therefor having the quieter time we sought.

We had a studio apartment in Hybiscus house, with a sea view to die for. The studio was fully equipped for any cooking needed on a holiday, and if you did not feel like cooking there is the pool bar or the other facilities.

All the staff, be they cleaners (excellent) Waiters or bar staff, are friendly and eager to help at all times.

We made good use of the pool and the sun beds, the weather was very hot for the full two weeks.

he entertainment was geared to younger people but we enjoyed what we saw.

The nearby Port De's Torrent beach was a godsend to me as I love snorkeling. Also the Water taxi's to San Antonio were on time, though they could have run till a bit later at night

All in all we had the time of our lives, taken at the pace that suited us. I don't think I would be quite so satisfied in high season, but that is for the young, this time was for older people or young people with very young children, and it was just right.

We are now members of the VIP club, so we hope to be returning there about the same time next year. God, and the bank willing.

We travelled to the Hotel for one week commencing the 25 sept. The hotel was spotlessy clean as well as the pool area. Overall we could not find fault with the hotel.

We upgraded to half board at the hotel for 20 euros per day but the food was great. Also there is a seperate part of the restaurant for theme nights.

The food was well cooked and the manager made regular visits checking the food warmth and stirring the beans etc.

The entertainment was a bit of a let down but then again we did go in the late season. The airtours entertainers were good.

Also there is a little ferry that operates from the beach to San antonio during the day for 3 euros one way or 5 euro return.

Also anyone that wants to do scuba diving there is a small diving shop on the other side of the beach which only charges 45 euros as the hotel one wants 90 for the same trip.

The other great thing is the bus stop is directly outside the hotel and is only 1 euro 15 each way flat rate. The maid service were great also.

We met other family memebers out there and none of us could find fault with this great hotel. Would definately go back and are looking to do so for two weeks next year.

This was my first visit to Ibiza. We booked this hotel at the last minute for the simple reason of it being the highest standard of hotel avaliable at the time.

The hotel was clean & tidy with friendly staff. Our room was cleaned throughly on a daily basis & was of a good standard.

The communal areas were maintained well & there were staff tidying the pool areas early every morning, even cleaning the windbreakers each morning.

Travelling as 2 single women, the hotel was not really geared towards us but I imagine if you have children this would be an excellent place to visit as I guess there would be little need to leave the complex.

We were self catering but due to some dreadful weather we upgraded to half board for 1 day. I can honestly say I would have prefered to get wet walking into the town. The food in the buffet restaurant was dreadful & whilst I wasn't expecting standards of The Ivy, I was expecting it to be edible. We also ate in the snack bar on a few occasions. Breakfast was fine (well I don't suppose you can go far wrong with toast) but some of the cooked meals were still frozen in the middle. I must admit, come the end of the holiday I was glad to be able to eat something other than chips.

We walked into the nearest resort on a few occasions. Whilst this is a nice walk in the daylight, I must admit I found it unnerving walking back in the dark.

I would be more likely to return to the hotel if I had children as it seemed like a fantastic hotel for this purpose.

We have just come back from this hotel and I must say the hotel complex is excellent.

The hotel is well managed and kept spotlessly clean, although we went self catering we did try the food from the snack bar at the pool side, this could be greatly improved, it seemed tasteless.

The resort is ideal for families with entertainmnet day and night for the children the evening adult entertainment is basic but usually satisfactory.

As other reviews state the resort is a short walk from San Antonio bay, here you will find plenty of small bars and restaurants, shop around all the bars prices vary but the food and drink is pretty much the same.

Rather than repeat what every other review is saying I will end this review on the following, the staff work hard to keep the place to a high standard and the service is excellent, what you make of the rest of the holiday is up to you.

The Hotel is a very complete complex and will have anything you will need.

The Location is ideal not too far away and not in the middle of the noise, with a wonderful beach 100 meters away.

This is not my first time at the Seaview and I’ve realized that they have put a lot of effort into making it even better such as:

The rooms all have fridges and kitchens in them.

The Pool Bar is much bigger and better service ( Before was a bit small and you had to wait for your drinks ) , there could be a bigger variety of food during the evening ( More like a restaurant than a hot dog and burgers take out, just to have a different choice )

There are two new thematic restaurants inside which was excellent! Really nice but felt a bit alone as nobody else seemed to know that it existed, quite good value for money.

The prices haven’t changed in any of the bars and there was special offer on food and drinks daily .

The staff are very helpful always willing to bend over backwards to do what they can for you.

Overall the best you can get on the island !

We have returned to this excellent hotel year on year now and have been VIP club members sice the Thomson Holidays days of operating from this hotel - in my opinion were much better entertainment wise than Airtours have ever been.

We have stayed in both Studio & 1 bedroom apartments both are excellent, comfortable & air conditioned places to live in while on holiday.

The Hotel staff every single one of them have always been pleasant, and good communicators of English, nothing is too much trouble and if you ask and they can provide - rest assured they will do it for you.

The pool area is brilliant, big and wide with losts of room all round to chill with a beer or 2, the snack bar is good too and one of the good things for me is you can get a card on arrival which charges all food & drinks to your room - you settle once the credit limit is reached or you depart & if you are a VIP club member you get DOUBLE credit to spend.... so no need to worry about taking cash to the pool.

OK the drinks are pricey, the food is more expensive than in the town etc but hey your in a 4 star hotel with quality staff and quality surroundings if you want budget - don't stay here.

I have been visiting Ibiza for many years and stayed in various hotels throughout the island and this hotel is far the best in the area and surrounding areas of San Antonio.

I have stayed in this hotel with my family and with my partner on our own and can not fault anything about it.

The location is great, a short distant walk from lots of shops, bars etc. This hotel is not on a steep hill as stated below (perhaps the person is thinking of somewhere else??)The hotel is extremly clean, the rooms, pool side and sun beds etc are cleaned daily. The restaraunt is good, lots of choices, well presented and is nothing like KFC! and again is very clean.

This is a great place for all the family.

Enjoy

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were all great apart from the bar and waiters by the pool. The service was appalling but we thought the food was okay.

The sunbed situation is bad but to avoid this we went out every morning and used the pool at teatime when it was still hot but quieter.

The children's entertainment is great but the kids clubs need more staff as its on a first come basis, even if you paid extra and went with Airtours.

The hotel itself is spotless, well decorated and maintained. It did have a huge amount of wasted space- perhaps there could have been some games rooms or larger internet room.

The food and service at the snack bar was pretty abysmal. Service was very slow and the food wasn't of a great standard.

You had to get up pretty early to get a sunbed as people were leaving towels on beds early in the morning, so there were no sunbeds for people who don't like to get up at the crack of dawn on their hols!! Once again a lot of space was wasted on tables and chairs which could have made room for more sunbeds.

Entertainment wasn't great. A lot of singers and cabaret type shows, there wasn't enough games or audience participation stuff which, when it happened, always went down well.

All in all a nice hotel, but felt quite out of the way.

This was a nice clean hotel. But it was situated on a steep hill.

Quite near the beach, but nothing much to do really. Lots of restaurants not many bars, a few discos. A quiet couples resort nothing much for kids.

The hotel was very clean faultless in that category, but the food was aimed at the foreign people. The hotel was full of french and spanish holiday makers as was the whole resort. It was amazing as some of the people couldnt speak a word of english!

The Staff were nice but they werent eager to say hello or talk unless for money for drinks then they would talk. One waiter was very nice and friendly though.

The entertainment was poor but spanish dancer night was great! All in all good holiday overall.

Sea view country club was a very clean hotel. We arrived self catering but upgraded to half board as soon as we got there.

All of us were very happy with the food and we are fussy eaters. The maid service was good, and the hotel was clean.

The location was good not to quiet with a short walk to the main resort, even the hotel staff were very friendly apart from the odd grumpy bar staff.

The entertainment was ok for kids but not so for adults.

We have just returned from this hotel, and it was just ok..... Here's what I think.

Hotel location was very good, far away from the party goers but close enough to walk to many restaurants and bars.

Hotel food was terrible, we ate there in the evening on the day we arrived and had breakfast in the morning, we purchased a half board ticket for 50 euros (2 adults and 1 child) complete waste of money, I now wish we had walked down the road. All the people saying the food is good must think places like KFC is a meal out.

It was not the cleanest of places litter everywhere, popcorn all over the floor, but in fairness they did their best.

The sunbeds..... Oh my...words can not explain this one, you will never get a bed, unless you set your alarm for 4am take your towel down, save the number of beds you want then go back to your bed. This is madness and some thing has to be done to stop it. A half thought up plan was actioned the day before we came home. They put tape around the beds, but people still put the towels downs and wondered of till 12 noon, the staff should of took all the towels from the beds where no one was there. This is a big problem and "everyone" was having a moan about it.

The swimming pool is nice and big.

The entertainment is a joke, they can't sing for toffee, but it will give you a good laugh for that reason alone.

The hotel staff were really nice people, was only shocked by one person who got in a strop because I did not tell them I was paying for our drinks on their hotel card, but other than that they were very good and very nice.

Would I return? Never in a million years !! but some people go back year after year.

In my opinion I thought this hotel was 1st class. Very clean. Even when one of the guests was sick at the side of the pool, a cleaner appeard within minutes.

The food I thought was good (managed to put on a few pounds. Plenty of choice although the children aged, 9 and 6 did prefer the adult section on most nights.

Most staff were helpful, however some of the waiters could do with some customer care courses!!

Some of the entertainment was quite good, obviously will not suit all. We went out occasionlly, the children ejoyed a change of scenery also but did prefer to play with friends they met.

Sorry to admit but we were one of the families who were up early to get our sunbeds, along with a couple of hundred other people. As one would say "if you can't beat them join them"

Hi there! just arrived home from the seaview this afternoon.

Had a fantastic time, the accomodation and the pool was great. There is lots to do for children or for teenagers like myself.

The beach just around the corner was brilliant and in our opinion the best beach we have come across abroad. There was shops and a cafe across the road from the Seaview and there is also a spar and a small shop called "El Paso" just across the beach.

I recommend that during your stay in the Seaview Country Club you should try out the great scuba diving tasters that is arranged as one of the day time activities it is free for teenagers and adults and 10 euros for children for 8 upwards.

Also if you take the short walk into San Antonio Bay there is great food options and bars and i would recommend the chinese resturant across from the hippy bar as a must if you like chinese food.

Well I hope you have just as good a holiday as we did. and we hope to go back sometime in the near future!!

The rooms had maid service every day with toilet rolls and beds being made everyday.

We stayed on self catering basis which was a fairly limited service, but had all the essentials (apart from a toaster. We ate in the hotels restaurant one evening and it was fine although I wouldn't want to do it for 2 weeks, however, the breakfast was magnificent.

There were a handful of shops over the road but a 10-15 minute walk would take you to more shops and bars.

The hotel reception staff were accommodating as were them maintenance staff but the staff at the pool bar were friendly and helpful.

The entertainment was amazing (well for the kids!!). The Reps and Customer service staff through themselves into the daily entertainment programme and provided evening entertainment stating with the kids disco each evening - very samey but kids like that don't they.

We read the reviews on this site and went with high expectations for this holiday. We were not disappointed.

Normally when we go away, you are sat on the bus and after a few drop off's you think those hotels look really good for families but this was our turn to be dropped off at the one which looked good from the outside.

Bus transfer was very quick (30 mins) and no delays.

Arrival at hotel was quick considering this was peak time. Hotel entrance area is very nice and clean with lots of buzz about the place which is all you would expect with it being aimed at families.

The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed for a self catering holiday. Only thing missing was a toaster. Room service was every day with a change of towels and a good sweep of the floor, also beds being made up and toilet roll replenishment (needed).

The hotel pool is huge with plenty shallow areas for the weaker or non swimmers and has lifeguards at all times. Hundreds of sun loungers but you have to be up early to get a good spot but still enough to go around considering there were over 1000 people there.

Bar/cafe at side of pool was very good with a good range of snacks and sometimes we ate there for evening meals as the choice covered basic main meals and healthy choices for adults and kids.

We didn’t use the hotel half board buffet but it looked good. (We ate out all the time in San Antonio and the bay).

If you are looking for a good place to eat you can get the hourly bus for 1 Euro 15 cents into san Antonio and there is plenty choice there and there are no drunks etc wandering around. You can also go out the main entrance and turn left and walk for 10-15 mins to San Antonio bay where you will find a host of eating places for all tastes at good prices and with entertainment on for all the family.

The hotel entertainment was very good with stuff beginning in the morning for kids and throughout the afternoon, then in the evening the kids disco from 8-9ish followed by a quiz, bingo then the evening program for adults and kids. This went on every day and was very good.

The My Travel reps here put in lots of effort to keep everyone entertained all day every day. They were the hardest working reps I have seen.

For groceries, you should avoid the supermarket across the road as this is run by the hotel and things like cereal were double the price at 6 1/2 euro for a small box of cornflakes etc. The best place to shop is 10 mins walk down to San Antonio bay where everything is much cheaper. Better still, bring cereal and soup and pasta with you to save money, also bring tea and coffee.

For sterling exchange rates the hotel was the poorest rate so you are better off going to San Antonio bay or San Antonio where the rate was better even over the U.K. rate (I followed the rate for weeks before we went for comparison).

For trips out the Mardi Gras show was good and is within walking distance of the hotel (out door turn left walk for 20 mins and on right hand side). Water park is a good day out and is right next to the airport so is 30 mins by coach.

The hippy market was a disappointment in that there were 400 stalls but it was like being at a football match with the amount of people there and the heat was uncomfortable. Also every 3rd stall was the same. You are not missing out by not going to the hippy market. If you go down to San Antonio on the bus, at around 8 in the evening at the marina front, those same stalls turn up and sell all the same stuff but on a smaller scale. Believe me when I say you are as well buying from there and saving the cost of the bus trip to the market.

Overall, the hotel was very good with entertainment from morning till night and kids are well catered for. If you are going without children and you don’t like the buzz of children enjoying themselves and running about then this place is not for you. If you have children, then the hotel has the most entertainment I have seen on a trip abroad, and we have been to all the resorts over Spain including Salou.

If there is one thing you will remember from this, it is the dance they will have you all doing every night and you’re kids will drag you up, also the phrase "Can I get 2 euros dad" ........aaagghh.

We are just back and had a good holiday. I would recommend it to anyone with children that can swim that are over the age of 6.

The rooms were good and clean but our view was of a tree and the next door hotel and were bit cheesed off with this.

The pool can be a bit of a nightmare as most sun beds are taken in the middle of the night. This caused a problem for us as our children are 4 & 2 and you want to keep an eye on them and I was not getting up at 4am to put my towel down. Also the amount of lilos, boats, tyres etc in the pool was unreal it was sometimes like a soup.

The entertainment was good but was repeated everyday for the kids at 8pm.

The beach beside the hotel is good and safe for the kids.

We booked this holiday only a week before departure and really got lucky.

The hotel is so clean - the rooms, public areas and outside spaces including the pools.

We are all vegetarians and found that we had an ok choice for meals, breakfast more so than evening meal but all the food was tasty and hot and the dessert choice was great. We did struggle at luchtimes and had the choice of going into the resort itself or eating at the poolside restaurant which had a limited menu as everywhere else both inside the hotel and immediately outside provided pre-made bagettes which all contained meat. We were a little sick of pizza and chips by the end of the holiday.

The childrens pool is great and not too crowded at mid season although towards the end of our holiday we did find that the large pool was too crowded with older children arriving which meant more children were choosing to use the baby pool but I guess that is to be expected.

There was always plenty of sunbeds and we didn't have to get up early just dropped our towels off when heading to breakfast. All the children shared their toys and inflatables really well too.

We didnt have aircon for the first two nights but as the temp was hotter than usual and after pressure from guests airtours paid for it to go on. Some people had offered to pay extra but it had to go on in blocks of accommodation so it had to come from the holiday company.

The supermarket opposite the hotel is very very expensive - I paid 6 euros for one small pack of baby wipes. But walk towards the resort and past the roundabout then there are much cheaper supermarkets and lots of shops and bars all very reasonable.

The evening entertainment was ok - my daughter who was 17 months loved the mini disco and we were lucky that our balcony looked towards the entertainment so we could put her to bed and sit on the balcony with cocktails. Our first night the entertainment was too loud but we never had that problem again. Just one member of the entertainment team liked whooping all time time - that did get anoying.

We are definately going back to this hotel when our daughter can join the kids club.

We booked this holiday only a week before travelling and really got lucky. The room, hotel and outside areas are spotless. We found all the staff especially the maids, waiters and waitresses were fantastic with children.

We are all vegetarians and had an ok choice to eat in the dining room - breakfast was better than the evening meal for choice. The food itself was lovely and we felt was excellent value for money. Unfortunatley we struggled at lunchtime as only the hotel poolside resturant offered anything for us. The bagette bar and all the cafes within a short walking distance provide pre-made bagettes which all had meat in them.

The supermarket opposite is owned by the hotel and is very expensive but a five/ten minute walk into the resort past the roundabout and there were plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarkets at reasonable prices.

There was no airconditioning for the first 2 nights but as the temp was higher than norm airtours agreed to pay for aircon in the rooms. Many people had offered to pay for their room but they had to be done in blocks. The hotel did have fans for hire but they just circulated the warm air.

The pool area is great for kids of all ages. We stayed mainly around the baby pool which is walk in and fantastic for the really young children. The other pool did get very busy and we noticed that at the end of our holiday with more older children arriving it very boisterous and a few more children were using the baby pool instead.

The entertainment was ok - alot of annoying whooping from one entertainer but fine other than that.

We are definately going back when our daughter is 3 and can join the kids clubs - she loved the mini disco every night and of course the pool!

We have just returned from the Seaview for the second year running. The hotel itself is absolutely spotless with maids coming in every day to clean room. The food in the hotel is excellent with a lot to choose from.
Even the fussiest of eaters shouldn't have a problem.

The location of the hotel is very good. We went into town most nights (not San Antonio). We either got the bus outside the hotel at five psst the hour or walked which took about ten minutes.

The walk into town is lovely with a view over San Antonio Bay. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Bars have plenty of things for the kids with bouncy castles, fun slides etc.

The entertainment in the hotel is not as good as it was last year. We found this year the entertainments team didn't have a lot going for them. They didn't have as many daytime activities as last year. They did splash dance just about every day last year whereas this year I could probably count on one hand how many times they did it. They also play bingo every night for bar vouchers which were very good prizes, however some nights it dragged on for about half an hour or more which meant the kids started getting bored with the game.

The hotel staff all speak very good English and are very pleasant. We had a few minor problems which were sorted out straight away. Also the plus side about this year is they had fitted an oven, microwave and fridge in the room which was great to keep your drinks cold.

Couldn't fault this hotel at all apart from the entertainment and would definately return next year. (Bring back last years entertainers - they were very good).

We were there before a year ago, in September. No big changes spotted since then. Strange thing - aircon did not work this time, end of June, though worked last year, end of September when the weather was much milder. Finally they did turn it on, approx on 20th of June, after multiple complains. By the way the temperature around, according street thermometers in SA&Ibiza Town was 34-35, maximum I spotted was 38 (in reality, I think, 32-33 was better esteem).

The first of two weeks (since 17th) happened to be out of peak season, the second one - within. Lots of youngsters had arrived last week, much more noise at nights. Pool area became overcrowded. In general, I think, for families with small kids it is better to avoid high season here.

Local entertainment (by reps) was as good (or as bad, it depends) as before but this time they regularly invited more external forces that was definitely plus.

As usually, neighbouring sister-hotel Aura was better in general though their entertainment seemingly dropped this year: last year professionals worked there. Still Aura was less noisy, less populated and more comfortable. Reminder: you can walk freely into Aura and spend the whole day there as both hotels are owned by Sirenis group.

One day we attended SeaView' restaurant (breakfast and dinner) and did not enjoy the meal at all: nothing particularly wrong but very plain and boring, it seemed better for us outside.

Staff was good and helping but we had a minor trouble with reception: we did not store the receipt for TV remote control deposit (why should we since we had the thing itself? Nobody told us). Then it took some efforts from us to get the deposit back. Repair and maintenance was quite efficient, e.g., our aircon happened to be broken - they fixed it in no time.

General impression - SeaView is probably not bad at all, in comparison with others on the island, and we might come back here again. But not next time, we should give it a break.

Only back from the Sirenis and I have to agree with what has already been said consistenly here; the hotel and rooms are spotless and the staff extremely pleasant. The swimming pool(s) are well maintained and cater for everyone from infants to the seasoned swimmer.

Prices for food/lollies etc are, as usual, more expensive in the hotel but the walk into the main town is pleasant and when you arrive there are loads of restaurants and supermarkets which are reasonably priced. A word of caution though, women (or men) that carry their handbags in their hands (and not over their shoulder!) should beware, as I witnessed one distraught woman have her handbag snatched by a local on a moped - your reps will warn you of this on your arrival and how to take necessary precautions.

Hotel reps provides entertainment throughout the day which starts at 10.00am and culminates in a different show each evening and they are thoroughly enjoyable!

I would definitely go back to this hotel if it existed in another location, but I wouldn't return to Port de Torrents, or any location, that I had visited already preferring to see as many different places as possible!

Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean throughout and very nice. The rooms were cleaned every day. The staff on reception were very helpful and friendly and spoke very good english.

We had a very nice view over the swimming pools and also a seaview. The swimming pools were excellent, nicely set out and there was a perfect small seperate shallow pool for the kids. The complex is nicely set out with bars, restaurant, coffee lounge, spacious reception, gym, jacuzzi and cinema all inside the main hotel. There are snack bars around the pool and a stage outside as well for entertainment.

One thing we thought was very good was the kids club which was situated in the complex in seperate buildings. One was a creche and there was also a seperate building for the youngsters who were in either Dizzy the Dolphin or Shades the Shark group. There were several choices on times you could take your children, usually 3 or 4 times a day. Most sessions lasted 2 hours and if you booked with Airtours you got some of them free. There were 2 or 3 sesssions which were themed sessions in which you had to pay a small charge.

The Airtours reps worked very hard throughout the day, from nine in the morning until almost midnight. There was a small team there in reception to deal with any problems and give information, plus there was a dedicated team of approximately 15 who entertained by organising water-polo, football, table-tennis, snooker and various other daytime activitities before providing the evening entertainment which included a mini-disco, bingo, quizzes and various shows throughout the week. As the formula is similar every night, some may find this a bit monotonous. I suggest that if you have kids, what we found was best was that you take them to the mini-disco which ran from 8-9 for a couple of nights then break that routine up with a night out in Port des Torrent or San Antonio and then go to the mini-disco and watch the entertainers cabaret for a night or two, then it provides a bit of variety throughout your stay.

Having said that the entertainers were good and put on a good show and come across as friendly, even the entertainments manager joined in with the rest of his team when performing. The kids will love it and it was very enjoyable. Thanks to the entertainments team there for making it so enjoyable. There's lots to do if you want to join in or you can simply relax and watch the kids play.

The kids will love Dizzy the Dolphin and Shades the Shark and mums and dads will end up dancing at the disco with their little tots to dances especially the catchy and fun Cartoon Heroes.

We would certainly want to go back next year as it's the ideal place for a family and hopefully once we start saving our pennies again we will hopefully keep that promise.

We stayed in a studio which overlooked the sea - it was gorgeous especially at night as we could see right across to San Antonio and watched a firework display into the sea on one night.

The hotel is located outside of San Antonio Bay about 20 mins walk which we didn't mind as both children were in buggies. You don't really need to go out from the complex as everything is on site. There is a regular bus service right outside the hotel which goes into San Antonio and from there you can get buses to other parts of Ibiza. There is also a water taxi available from Port Des Torrent to San Antonio which we used one day which was nice.

The pool area was great, nice and clean.

The entertainment was provided by Airtours throughout the day and night - which we found great for the children and adults. Had a good few professional shows too in the evening.

The staff here were excellent. I can't comment on the restaurant staff as we never used it but the bar staff were really friendly and made a fuss of the children.
This is a family orientated hotel but we met a few couples as well who found it great too.

Would definitely visit again and highly recommend to other families.

We went to the Sirenis Sea View on October half term expecting is to be really busy but when we got there it was lovely. We had booked a 1 bedroom apartment and were delighted to find out that all the 1 bedroomed apartments which were huge all had fantastic sea and pool views.

When we stepped onto our balcony at first I thought it was shared with the apartment next door which had another set of patio doors, that patio door turned out to be ours, the balcony was twice as big as any we have had before.

There was a large bedroom with access to balcony and bathroom, separate dressing area, kitchen and large living area, again with balcony access. TV was free along with all kitchen utensils which was nice as usually you need to hire mirowave tv etc. The room was spotlessly clean. We got there at about 11am and got changed and went straight out to pool which was huge, there were also ample sunbeds for everyone and every morning you could get one without having to get up at 5am and do any of the "sunbed reserving" which seems to go on elsewhere.

The staff in the hotel were lovely, especially the outdoor pool bar staff. The entertainment was good through the day with quizzes etc and at night there was the usual mini disco, competitions and bingo which we won twice (the prize is usually a bar tab to spend at any bar in the hotel, we won around £200 in total which paid for our food and drink for most of the week.)

There were lifeguards constantly supervising the pool which was reassuring. The only drawback was the hotel restaurant, we paid a couple of times to use it, the food was ok, typical self service food, chicken, chips, different meats etc, the only drawback was the service for drinks, it was nearly impossible to get the waiter's attention and my husband ended up both times going to the bar and buying the drinks himself but all in all the quality of the food was quite good.

The hotel was right at the end of a bay and the beach was on the doorstep which was handy. We walked into San Antonio a couple of times and it was lovely and quiet and we caught buses into Ibiza Town which is pretty straight forward.

All in all I would not hesitate to come here again in October although I cannot speak for what it would be like in the middle of August as it may be totally different.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and both times it has been absolutely terrific - no faults whatsoever. It is an exceptionally nice hotel in a great peaceful location.

There is a reguler bus and boat which takes you to San Antonio but if your into a nice walk, you can stroll there passing bars and shops along the way. They have a Boat which takes you to two close bays - these are fab and definitely worth a trip. We loved swimming in the crystal clear waters and feeding the fish out of your hands.

Definitely recommend this place for couple or family.

We thought this hotel was excellent. It is a bit out of the way but not too far to walk to the local shops/restaurants and there is an hourly bus service into San Antonio.

We had 2 rooms, which we couldn't have asked to be better located, overlooking the lovely pools and the sea. The rooms were spotlessly cleaned every day and the maids were very cheerful and friendly. The only down-side to the rooms I would have to say would be the cooking facilities which are hidden away behind louvered doors, which with a limited budget having 4 kids, we found impossible to cook anything substantial on, as we did plan to cook more than we ended up doing.

We ate a lot at the poolside bar, where the food was reasonable and nice with pleasant staff there also.

There was entertainment every evening, which we only went to once but was good, we saw THE MEN IN BLACK! 3 of my kids signed up for kids clubs and my daughter only went to a couple of them. My boys did find the football sessions enjoyable.

The pools were very popular with the kids too and were in them every day. Superb pools that gently shelve away. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols and a very pleasant area to sit round.

We thought this hotel was very nice, very well looked after and would certainly go again.

Came back from this holiday two weeks ago and felt quite let down after reading all the excellent comments made on the Sea view Country Club. Maybe our expectations were too high but we found that our room was only given a token cleaning, leaving the carpet and outside terrace just as it was all week.

Outside chairs and tables were very dirty and we had to clean them up ourselves. Top of microwave was dirty and greasy and the fridge hadn't been defrosted for a long time.

The entertainment team tried hard but only the children seemed to want to participate in the daytime activities and the evening entertainment was disappointing and needed much more rehearsing by the entertainment team to sing in tune etc.

Outside acts was very repetitive being all singing and dancing a speciality act would have been welcome as a change. Be aware that the walls of the bedrooms are very thin and we could hear every word of the people arguing next door till 3 o'clock in the morning. Have stayed in much better 3 star accommodation. Maybe we were in the wrong hotel!

Just arrived back from the Sirenis yesterday, had a great holiday.

Hotel is in a lovely location, overlooking the beach, we had a room with a lovely sea view although the sun never reached our balcony it was still a breathtaking view to wake up to every morning.

Entertainment at night was excellent with the kids getting a disco first then the adult entertainment coming on at about 9.30 including bingo with captain bingo himself.

There is a supermarket just outside the hotel but it is really pricey, if you head down to the beach and take the path behind the restaurant you will find a supermarket that is half the price.

Drinks in the hotel are a bit on the expensive side, a kids cocktail is €5 with a adults one €5.50, but beware the adult cocktails will blow your head off, especially when you try every one on the menu in one night like I did. Unfortunately I didn’t see the next day as it was spent in bed.

There is an excellent bus service to San Antonio leaving from outside the hotel on the hour, but at peak times you have to get there early to queue as the bus fills quickly. €1.10 to be paid to the driver to go, but on the way back you will need a ticket if you get the bus from the harbour.

The pool was absolutely freezing, but was probably due to the fact we went in October, although the temperature was a nice 25 degrees.

Rooms was spotlessly clean and well equipped although watch your young ones when they come out of the bath/shower as the tiled floors in the room are very slippy.

Food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff very pleasant. We were getting picked up to go to the airport at 6.45am and were told we could have a cold breakfast in the restaurant, but they ran out of milk quickly and some people had to do without.

My husband and I went out as 'self-catering' but found on arrival that you could up-grade to half-board for £10 a day each. We decided this was a good deal and went ahead. Its the best thing we could have done. We ate huge prawns, smoked salmon, green-lipped mussells (huge) all manner of seafood. Then there was all types of meat and vegaterians were well catered for too. The food was of the finest quality and in 'gianormous' portions (all my own fault). We had soup, salads, main course and 'several' desserts every evening (very naughty). Then the breakfast! Fruit to start and cereal (all kinds), then the full 'English' and to finish pastries of all varieties, and tea and coffee. I put 6llbs on! The hotel and rooms were spotless, cleaned to a very high standard. Hotel was in a very pretty location next to a lovely beach but we hired a car which I think is necessary at this hotel and is a cheap way to see every inch of this lovely island. The entertainment was great for kids and families but could be better for couples. The drinks were rather expensive in the hotel but served to your table by lovely staff. There is a Spanish social club a few minutes walk from the hotel and the drinks there are half the price and we found that this well attended watering hole was used by adults only which was a welcome refuge for us childless! We had a great time and would go back to the Seaview again.

The Sirenis Seaview is a large and very well kept complex with lots going on both day and night whatever the weather.

We used the hotel restaurant on the night of our arrival, and although a bit pricey at €15.90 each there was a masssive choice and the food was lovely.

The pool snack bar was open for meals until 10pm so we also tried that both day and night and weren't dissapointed.

There is a nice playground for the little ones and also a small kiddies pool in addition to the big pool.

The Airtours reps/entertainers worked really hard all day and night to keep everyone entertained and the hotel staff were always friendly and very helpful.

We are already considering booking up for our main summer holiday next year.

We have just returned today (October 17th 2004) from a 2 week holiday Half Board at the Seaview Hotel. I am mainly writing this report for all of you out there who are eager to find out what the hotel is really like, before leaving. We too read several reports and most of them excellent, as well they should be given the high standard of this 4* hotel.

I was pleased with the selection of food offered in the restaurant on Half Board option, I myself hate fish and am not keen on much meat but always had a plate full of lovely food, and this is surprising as I am a really fussy eater. I overhead a few people (definitely in the minority) complaining that the bread was stale and the food was not hot enough but I really don't know what they could possibly find to realistically complain about, I think they were just making mountains out of molehills, so to speak!

Although we were a young couple (22 and 25) the entertainment was, the most part, good but obviously being a family orientated hotel you could not expect everything to revolve around adult entertainment.

If you have children believe me they will never get bored there is something going on for them from early morning. The entertainment staff were excellent, Mark, Mikey, Courtney, Nick & Erica to name a few.

Location of hotel is just off a sandy beach which was quiet when we visited but in peak season could imagine being quite busy.

Pool area is stunning, looks just like photos as does the room.

Maid came every day and made beds, changed sheets regularly and always had fresh towels for us if required, could not complain at all about the cleanliness of the whole hotel.

We had a great holiday and even though visited in mid October Temperatures were in high 30's.

Take advantage of Bus outside hotel to San Antonio Bay but recommend you give Ibiza Town a miss, there is nothing there.

Sadly though one drawback, I know but there has to be something, the drinks in the hotel are really quite pricey, oh well you can't have it all but what you pay for them you receive back in the excellent service, waiters serve drinks to our table, hey can't be bad!!

Hope you all have a fab Hol!!

We have just come back from the Serenis Seaview Hotel two days ago and it was one of the most fantastic holidays we have had.

From early morning until after midnight there is a bustle of activity. If you are looking for a fun packed holiday then this is the place to be, from 10.30 in the morning until 4.30 you have activities for the adults and kids including water polo, killer pool and splash dance. Everyone gets involved.

The Airtours reps are the best, Su, Andy Courtney, Nick, Erica, Mark and Mikey you were definitely our Cartoon Heroes (still keep singing that song and doing the dance at home!!!) The weather was exceptional for this time of year even the locals were commenting on it so we have been lucky for October.

We were self catering but did try the restaurant once which cost us nearly €40 and wasn't worth it as nothing was to our liking but if you like trying lots of different things then you will be fine. Couldnt fault the restaurant, clean, well set out, plentiful and kitchens you could see into!

With a sandy beach just round the corner from the hotel you had the choice or pool or beach, however, the sunbeds on the beach were pricey at €4 each and the sun beds round the pool were free but had no cushioning (only downside). Luckily we didnt have to get up to early for a sunbed as it was heading towards the end of the season and there was plenty for everyone but I imagine in height of season you will be fighting for one!

Stay away from the supermarket outside of the hotel as it is really pricey and walk just 10-15 minutes up the road and you will come to another supermarket much better priced and you will find yourself in San Antonio Bay where they have some fab restaurants. Fully recommend the Old Tavern, we were getting 3 meals and 3 drinks from as little as €17.

The bay also has lots to do from bungey trampolining to bowling which we tried of course. We walked out to San Antonio Bay every night for our meal and walked the food off back to the hotel and got back for the entertainment laid on every night, sometimes there were a couple of caberet acts on (Hypnotist was hilarious)and the other nights the Airtours reps put on the cabaret, they were ok but not fantastic but you could tell they had worked really hard with the routines (bless them). Bingo every night to win Euro's for the bar which is great. I'm not talking small amounts either and kids mini disco and Fun time for the adults from 9.30 - 10.00pm. Where you get roped in and then the main entertainment at 10pm.

The hotel staff were friendly and polite and Justo behind the bar is a giggle, we got a couple of very strong cocktails one night, they blew our head off thanks to him!!

There is pool on site, tennis, football, basketball, air hockey plenty to do and plenty to see, the place is brilliant. The maids work all day and they come into your room every day, to change towels, make your beds and tidy the bathroom.

The La Palmera snack bar is great for breakfast and convenient but a little over priced.

This is a fabulous place and would highly recommend it for families. Just go there!

Hotel very nice and large enough for you to loose yourself in. Pool is very clean with two kiddies areas at either end and a separate one too with non-slip floor although a bit slippery round the edges.

Plenty of sunbeds and a mattresses can be hired from the gym downstairs. Food round the pool is good and saves you the walk anywhere else when it is hot.

The studios are nice and clean and functional with a kettle, toaster and microwave if you choose to cook. They have blackout liners on the curtains as the sun shines right through if you're on the right side and towels were changed every day...sheets weren't.

They play a movie everyday through the TV in the rooms and in the cinema at about 4.30, such as Nemo, monster inc etc. which keep the little ones amused. Entertainment is what you expect and what you make it. Kiddies disco at 8pm with games. A little geared for the older child rather than a 2 year old but the dancing is good and of course the cartoon heroes song will drive you mad. There is an outside covered play area which you can sit outside and watch them play and have a drink which is nice as you are still within the hotel grounds.

The reception area is spotless and you see people cleaning up the fallen leaves which I have never seen before.

The hotel is not recommended for couples, it's geared around families. It is rated 4* for the entertainment which is good if you have children.

The food was awful not a lot to choose from.

If you do go as a couple and your room is above the children pool you would be better off if you ask at reception to move you, this is because it gets extremely noisy and busy with screaming kids which is only to be expected. Our room was about 15 metres from the kids pool we asked to be moved and was told on several occasions that they would sort it for us but they never. Two couples checked in and checked out straight away during our stay.

On our second night we saw vermin around the childrens pool and took photo's, when we reported it next morning the rep passed on our sightings to the manager who said they didn't have rats in their hotel, only rabbits. It's the first time I have seen rabbits with 6 inch tails. The photgraphs of the rats are now with our tour operator who are investigating.

The drinks in the hotel are very expensive compared to the bars further into the resort which is quite a trek every day and every night. Ladies please take my advice and take very very very comfortable shoes.

The bus stops right outside the hotel on the hour be there early as everyone from the hotel uses it and 9 times out of ten the bus if full.

Use the supermarket across the beach it's cheap don't use the one opposite the hotel as it is very expensive.

I'm sorry that I can't say anything positive about the hotel but don't take my word for it try it as not everyone's opinions are the same.

I have stayed in better 3* hotels, compared to this 4* they were 6*

Hotel was OK, not much to add to previous reviews about staff, cleanliness, location etc. I would recommend to stay particularly at the Hibiscus House if possible. The most remote from the hotel entertainment area. From the seaview side of the house where our room was, we could not even hear any entertainment noise at all! Sea view from our balcony was fantastic though a meter tall wall separating from the neighbouring balcony was not very good idea from the point of privacy.

What I liked least (though it does not actually relate to the hotel itself) - virtually everybody was smoking everywhere! You cannot smell the sea from the balcony, only smoke.

I cannot say reps did not try hard but they were far too noisy.

Kitchenette was very compact but had actually everything you would need for self-catering. We were discovering more and more well hidden kitchen items every day!

The only *proper* supermarket for those who on SC, in the neighbourhood is SUMA, about 2km from the hotel. One acrose the beach is not bad too, as was mentioned by others, but I find it too small even in comparison with an average British corner shop.

Probably the hotel would be overcrowded at peek season but when we were here - end of September - it was half empty. I think September is the best month here, it was still warm enough.

Hotel seems a reasonably good value for money. Well, it is not expensive, especially if you go with Direct Holidays instead of Airtours. Probably we will come back again if we can.

Could not fault this hotel on its cleanliness. The only reason we would not use this hotel again is because the balconies have no privacy whatsoever. There is only a small wall in between each balcony and it felt that we were sharing the same balcony with the people next door. They could see right into our room and we had to keep a curtain partly shut all of the time which was a shame because we had a fabulous sea view.

We were self catering and when we walked into the room we thought we had been given a half board room because we could not find the kitchen, however we found it in a cupboard. It consists of a hob, fridge, sink and microwave. There were plenty of pans and utensils but if you really want to cook your own food there are no work surfaces to prepare food. Having said this the Sirenis is a comfortable hotel with plenty to keep a young family occupied

Only 4 days since we came home from the Seaview and I am missing it already. I have never been to such a lovely hotel. Beautifully clean and all staff friendly and helpful. We even saw a man sweeping up the leaves as they fell from the tree outside.
We all enjoyed the food, you would have to be extremely picky about your food not to find something you liked from the huge variety on offer. Ok not everything was Birds Eye or Heinz but if that is what you want stay in Britain!
Yes, the prices are slightly higher than those in the supermarkets, but if you want top class accomodation you have to be prepared to pay for it.
Looking forward to a return visit!

Just come back from two weeks at this hotel, travelling with my husband and three children aged 11, 7 and 4.

I have to say, although the Hotel is very comfortable and extremely well kept, I hated it.

I wasn't prepared for the size of the place. It felt at night round the pool like you were in a airport hanger rather than a hotel, absolutely enormous.

If you go down to the pool at 7am to find a bed and unbrella, you will be disappointed, as nearly all beds and certainly all umbrella's have gone. I even saw people coming down at this time and just pinching beds and umbrella's from other people who had already set their stall out for the day, they just didn't care.

Our hotel room was underneath one of the sunbathing areas, so every morning from about 5.30! people were scraping beds and brollies around the floor. ALL the sunbeds are RIGHT next to each other, and I mean literally, there is no space whatsoever between your sunbed and someone lying next to you who you don't even know. Abolutely awful.

Also from 10.30am in the morning and then again in the afternoon, you were literally deafened by the reps on the microphone. I also heard other holiday makers complaining of this saying it had been too loud during the day.

The shows at night were very samey, just the Airtours Reps dancing to different songs each night.

Port Du Torrent on the other hand is beautiful. There is a beach right next to the hotel and a beach hut there that serves food till 10pm at night and the seafood and other dishes we tried were out of this world.

Also if you go across the beach to the other side, there is also another restaurant which is equally as good, that even serves an Indian curry, which was fantastic.

All in all the children loved it, but if my youngest kept walking off, which he was wont to do it took us about half an hour to find him as the place is so big.

Would never go back to this hotel again, it just didn't feel right for me and as I said I hated it for the reasons given above. However, love Ibiza and usually go to the Palm Beach Club at Playa d'en Bossa, where we will be returning next year!

Entertainment could be better with more shows done by people rather than the hotel reps. You can see they are doing there best at what they can but just need more shows and in the pub downstairs aswell could do with some adult shows.

Location was very good there is a ice cream parlour just out side wich you can get some ice cream and drinks cheaper and better and two steps away

This hotel was the most disgusting hole I have ever stayed in; when I arrived I thought to myself that the place resembled the Nazi prisoner of war camp Aushtiwtz. The staff were the most ignorant people I have ever met, they were reluctant to talk to anyone as for the reps well they were a joke.

At times I was worried for my children’s safety as there were rats and other small rodents running around all over the place, including the kitchens! The food was the worst I have ever tasted I would rather eat gruel. I would not recommend this to anyone I saved all year for this holiday and my dreams were ruined.

The Sirenis Seaview Country Club is absoulutley gorgeous!!! The hotel was spotless, the pools were spotless, even the public toilets in the hotel were spotless! The location of this hotel is good, however I recommend anyone that is going, to put comfortable shoes on as it is a 10-15 minute walk to the start of the bars and restaurants. However, there is a bus right outside the hotel that will take you to all the bars and restaurants for only 1 euro 10 cents, and it will even take you all the way to san antonio for the same price! The hotel staff were amazing and really friendly, and done anything possible to ensure you had a great holiday! The entertainment was FAB! The reps were great and was always on the go doing various entertainment with the children and adults! 1 of the reps was also very cute, called Andy! Cartoon heroes was fab, I have taught all my friends the dance, and we go everywhere singing it and dancing to it, it's really good fun!!

Just returned from 2 week holiday at the Sirenis Seaview for the second time. Excellent. Cleanliness was fantastic, all areas of the complex were spotless at all times of day and night. Our children aged 15 & 13 loved it, begging to go back again for a 3rd year. Lots of children in this age group, they were never bored with lots of activities day and night, this meant that we were able to relax with no stroppy teenagers to amuse! Worth booking for this alone. Internet room was very popular with this age group. All staff very friendly and helpful. Entertainment very good, reps worked very hard. Quiet lounge great for a relaxing coffee or small beer. Cartoon heroes, especially in the pool, to be seen to be believed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Early booking is strongly recommended, lots of people we spoke to had already booked for next year.

We stayed at the Sirenis Seaview Country Club and loved every minute of it. From the moment you arrive to the minute you leave you feel welcomed the staff are polite and any problems are sorted out straight away, not that we had any.

Can not remember the name of ours we where straight up the stairs just past main Reception on the left and had views of the hills and gardens, beautiful.

When I originally booked it my husband couldn't believe it, all I got was Ibiza why there, soon changed his mind when he saw where we where going.

My daughter took to having a chat with the Maitre D every day Breakfast and Lunch and if there was anything she could not find went straight to him.

Fantastic entertainment provided by the reps, highly recommended is the Scuba Diving School opposite the school both my husband and my son had lessons and jumped off the Island into the sea they are really looking forward to going back and having another go.

I have just sent off an e-mail to the hotel direct asking for prices for this year, fingers crossed we will be able to visit again.

We fell in love with Ibiza and every summer our youngest asks if we can go back, maybe this year she will get her wish.

Loved the little lizards that ran around the outside areas, cute.

Our room was very clean apart from the kitchenette area, it had a funny smell to it and personally I wouldn't have eaten anything cooked in there. It was really small for a self catering apartment, I was expecting an actual kitchen area but it was actual kept behind a door on the wall!

The location of the hotel was ok if you don’t mind a long walk to any other restaurants and bars. With 3 buggies in tow it was a bit of a struggle every evening. We decided to get a taxi to San Antonio on a few nights just to save the walk.

The evening entertainment was fun but wouldn't want to stay there all night. We returned to the hotel around 10pm every evening and caught the last hour or so which suited us.

As in previous reviews the prices for drinks are a joke and the food around the pool the same, it was about 10 euros for a hotdog.

There was lots going on around the hotel and the room itself had a great sea view and the balcony was an absolute sun trap which was nice early evening, very relaxing!

The hotel was superb! It had everything for people of all ages.

You couldn't fault the extremely desirable location, right next to a beach.

The cleanliness was excellent.

The staff were smartly dressed and dealt quickly with any problems or queries we had.

The food was amazing and served so many varieties it couldn't be faulted.

The entertainment was good and amusing.

I would definitely go back again.

This was the best holiday by far we have been on.

We went half board and found the food excellent, plenty to choose from.

The hotel rooms were spacious and very clean, we had a room overlooking the beach which was fab.

The beach itself is lovely with restaurants and a bar. There is also a ferry boat that takes you to San Antonio which the kids loved.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly. Our light on the balcony went off one night and within 20 minutes they were there to fix it.

Hotel location not bad however to get to the nearest bars it was a bit of a trek with 2 young children. We found that we didn’t need to go to the bars that often as the entertainment at the hotel was very good. The entertainment team worked really hard from morning till night. Children loved the mini disco especially Cartoon Heroes.

We have already booked to go back next year and would recommend this holiday to anybody with a family.

Since this is my fourth visit to this hotel I have got to know the staff well. They are family minded, friendily, helpful and very kind to kids. This hotel prides it self for its efficency and cleaniless and special touches of hospitality. It has sloping ramps every where for good excess to all areas of the hotel this is invaluble cause I have a Downs Syndrome son. I am a V.I.P. client now, this gives added luxury to your stay Tennis/sport court use, jacuzzi pool/gym, hotel pool towels, bottle of wine or drinks on your arrival and a sunset bouevard gathering the night before you leave, with little gifts from the management to say thankyou.(All free for your loyality).Location is a good walk away from main restaurants and night club seen, I see it as good excerise to walk the good food off.I am sadden that the hotels supermarket has higher prices than the norm especially the basics for bread and water. Overall you really are hard pushed to be really critically though. In side the hotel grounds there are Snooker tables, table tennis, tables board games, cards games 2 cinema screens and indoor entertainment progromme for the quieter life. Kids are totally spoit for choice activities run from ten am to ten pm. The entertainment programme particular this year was much of the same content. The Air tours reps were talentless not like years before. The only thing that spoilt are holiday was the weather too many people back home where telling the rain to go to Spain. We got 10 days out of fourteen this year it was the first ever experience of rain and a chill in the air. Seaview got it covered though they are just boom boom Fantastic. Cheers' to our heros for another home to holiday home stay, see you next June Seaview.

we stayed at the sirenis club playa at Cala Llonga, arrived home on sunday 4/6/04 so still in party mood.
This is a large hotel, which is very clean, but very hot, no air con except in adult bar,air con not working in restaruant.Rooms have ceiling fan which help a little.Food is pretty good, nicley presented, and quite a good choice, not sure about chips for breakfast though.Entertainment ? well depends on what you like dunnit. The large amount of kids seem to enjoy theirs anyway.
Staff are very pleasant, with only one cleaner keeping her head down whenever a guest came by

This was my group's 10th holiday together but first visit to Ibiza and we are converted.....in fact next years holiday was booked within hours of getting back in the UK....and we are returning to the Seaview without hesitation. It is spotlessly clean, spacious and just fantastic, can't say how great it is......just go there!!!!!!!

Hotel clean, tidy and well run. Only complaints were no fridge in half board rooms. British only hotel, 20 TV channels, only 1 british (not that we watched much tv !).
Pool was very good. 3 areas to the big one, 2 with shallow ends, and one with 2mts depth all round. they are watched over by attendants all day. Lilos, boats etc are not allowed in the deep pool area, and this is strictly enforced which i felt was a good idea. There is also a seperate paddling pool for the little ones.

If you want a good spot around the pool take an alarm clock with you. You will need to be down with your towels by about 8.00am. Despite the hotel telling you otherwise. Dont pick the area by the stage or behind it because when the entertainment starts you will either be deafenend by the stage, or soaked behind it!(you will see what i mean when the splash dance starts)

If you want a game of pool go out of the hotel to the ice cream shop opposite, only 1 EU per game as opposed to 2 EU in the hotel.

Food was very good, dont forget to take your kids Dizzy and Shades bottles into the restaurant at breakfast, you will be able to fill them up with fresh orange juice(dont let em spot you though).
staff are british as well as spanish. All speak very good english. The credit card arrangement was a very good idea. Great for giving to the kids if they wanted a drink.
One point to note is that the nearby supermarket is also owned by the hotel, therefore their charges are higher. Worth taking a trip across the beach to the shops there.
Airtours reps work really hard to entertain. The kids love it. Non-stop, all day poolside enertainment that will keep you all entertained. The eveing entertainment was ok, however i felt that the imported entertainment was much better than the airtours team.
I would love to know if anyone has managed to get Gabby to smile !

I was disappointed at the money making scams though. Euro2004 was on and they were runnig a scratchcard whereby you pay 2 Euros a square, 50 squares, with the winner getting just 20 Euros ! You didnt need to be a mathematician to work out the profit, however no-one would tell me where the remaining money was going !

Having said all that i would not hesitate returning to this hotel, and if you are taking kids rest assured they will love every minute. Been back over a week and i still havent got the "Cartoon Heroes" tune out of my head yet!

The hotel is big - very clean with nice spacious bedrooms. We had a seaview whcih was lovely. The food is buffet style with loads of choice, even a buffet especially for the children. The hotel is right on the edge of San Antonio Bay, so it is quiet but a short walk from bars and restaurants. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, all speaking English. Entertainment was all Airtours, you dont have to join in, but they do work hard and some good caberet acts.

Absolutely fantastic!! This is the only way to describe the Sirenis Seaview. The cleanliness of the place is paramount. There is always a member of the hotel staff cleaning somewhere. The pool is spotless and is cleaned every evening. The food is superb.

If someone was to tell me they did not eat well here, I would call them a liar!! There must be at least 7 to 10 choices everynight and they also do show cooking by the resident chefs. A nice touch is the kids buffet. On here are the same food as the adults, but you also get chicken nuggets, fish fingers etc. The staff in the restaurant are lovely. Certain waiters and waitresses go out of their way to have time for the kids. Drinks can be ordered at your table from the staff.

When you arrive at the hotel, you are given a card for each member of the party. This must be produced each time you enter the restaurant. It also acts as a credit card for use in the hotel. A member of the reception staff will validate it for you and you receive 60 Euros credit on it. This can then be used at the bars and snack bars in place of cash. A fantastic idea if you do not wish to carry cash about with you. You then go to reception, clear the balance and you start afresh with another 60 Euros...a great idea.

The location of the hotel is approximately 1KM from the center, but the walk is lovely, or you can catch the bus. The fare is 1 Euro 10 cents each, but this fare will take you all the way to San Antonio, which is approximately 3KM away. There is a beach approximately 60 yards from reception, hiring loungers at 4 Euros each.

Pedalos range from 8 to 14 Euros for an hour. The sea here is crystal clear, but there are rocks in places so be careful. Snorkelling here is great, to depths of about 25 to 30 feet...lovely colurful fish everywhere. Also from this beach, you can catch a small boat to San Antonio (approx. 5 Euros each-we were charged 15 Euros for a family of four). You can also catch the glass bottom boat from here to various destinations. The entertainment was great. The Reps commence pool side fun from 10am and carry on to 1130pm.

The reps themselves were fantastic and were always on the go. The evening entertainment starts at approx. 8pm with the kids mini disco (you will come home singing and dancing the Cartoon Hero's song), bingo from 9pm with line prizes of approx. 60 Euros and full houses for up to 250 Euros (all winnings are paid in bar vouchers!!!). The main entertainment starts at 10pm. I recommend the hypnotist on a Saturday evening. Also do not let the kids miss the Cartoon Hero Evening entertainment!!! All in all a brilliant holiday. I would recommend this place to all.

I have been to this hotel 6 times and how anyone can say they didnt like it bewilders me...been hb and sc.
Its fantastic I even went to a cheapy hotel this year and still went to the nautilus bar to see peter the bar man everynight we've known him for years now.

Its my home from home.
Families/couples anyone.

Close enough to the beach, close to san an bay and town but not too close and bus trips to ibiza town great.. try the chinese there its lovely.
But if you are going to Ibiza town go later in the day or evening.

The staff are friendly, the hotel is spotless, I can understand what some people dont like the entertainment its is family orientated but go for a drink down stairs no kids!!! Please dont be put off its fab.

( I say Thomson and Airtours as oringianlly I was going when it was Thomson sun, superfamily and now airtours although I find direct holidays were cheaper than Airtours!

Had two previous out of this world holidays here. Without doubt a fantastic family hotel, however, I booked it for a third time for July this year, with Airtours,(I know, you get what you deserve) dragged another two families in with me, on my recommendations of its sheer fun and attention to detail. Big mistake, 9 months after we booked it, Airtours now inform us that Sirrenis no longer wish to honor the original contract they had with them, and are "pleased" to offer us a few pokey studios instead of the original rooms booked. Of course if we don’t like it we can have our cash back, that’s 12 of us got to find rooms for July. Fat chance.

So, great hotel, but if that’s how they treat their guests, do you really want to go there???

Set in a beautiful location overlooking the sea, the hotel is very well run, & fully deserves the Four Stars it has. There is always someone cleaning - especially 8 in the morning - they're like little ants!!

We went self-catering & ate in the restaurants in Port Des Torrent so cannot comment on the food, but the kids entertainment was fantastic. There are other bars inside the hotel which on several evenings cater for the older couples travelling without children.

I cannot recommend this place enough, so much so we return in 4 weeks time with our friends & their little girl.
Direct is a lot cheaper than Airours, but if you have children over 3, there may be a problem with the kids clubs, as Airtours kids get first refusal. The creche is payable locally, & you have to book in advance so get there handy!! Lots of toys, very cool & English NNEB trained nursery assistants.

The hotel is very popular & is booked up months in advance, which tells you how good it is!!!!!!!

Visited this hotel in April 2003, and are booking again to go in Jan 05. Absolutley fantastic holiday, money well spent!

The staff - wonderful, the food - wonderful, accomodation -wonderful,entertainment - comical!

The cleaning staff - worked hard 24/7 to keep hotel tip top. After bad experience elsewhere in Ibiza, was reluctant to return, glad we did.

The manager of the hotel befriended us and we returned one evening to our rooms to a bottle of wine and flowers!

Will return in Jan to expect the same excellence.

Would recommend here to anyone of any age.
