| said: We have just arrived back from nuramar appartments we found the location was excellent just 5 minute walk to the marina where there are plenty of shops bars and restaurants.We stayed in 2 bedroom appartment quite basic but very spacious and clean towels and bedding changed most days.Pool area very clean and no problem of getting a sunbed even if you dont get there until afternoon.Bar staff friendly and helpful drinks are not too expensive.Not much entertainment during evenings but some games for children in afternoon which is plenty.we would recommend a visit to these appartments.

| said: The hotel was set in a good location, with all the neccessities within about five minutes walk. The prices at the bar were reasonable and the staff were not only happy to help, but took the time to get to know the guests as well.

| said: Stayed here last 2 weeks of August and had a superb time. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apt which was in fact like a villa. These apts are not part of the main complex. The apt was huge with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a large living area, kitchen and bathroom downstairs. There is entertainment a couple of nights per week and water polo and a kids club during the day. We found this to be more than adequate. The apts are spotless. The rooms were cleaned five days per week and the towels changed every other day. The apts are located a 10 min walk from the marina and a further 10 mins from the beach.
Would highly recommend these apartments, although it would be better to have a 2 bedrooom apt.

| said: Resort in good location & complex size good, pool not to busy. Apartment was 2 room & large in size with 2 bathrooms. Apartment was in desperate need of refurbishment with tatty furniture & dark dungeon like decor. Doors & windows did not lock even after several repair attempts. Hotel staff miserable with exception of child entertainer who was first class. Unfortunately what is a good resort & complex in a good location is greatly let down by apartments in desperate need of refurbishment as well as hotel staff who need some public relation training. Would only consider return if these areas were dramatically improved.

| said: The complex itself always seemed to be clean, tidy and well maintained, as did our appartment, which was cleaned 5 days out of 7. We didn't spend much time there, but there was not much was going on there anyway. It was, however, situated in the right place, far enough away from the noise, but not that far you had to mount an expedition to get to the resort itself. The staff were always friendly and happy to help, but the entertainment left something to be desired.

| said: We all found the nuramar in a fabulous position, far enough away from the noise to allow the children to sleep but near enough to be in walking distance to the bars, restaurants and the beach. The rooms were cleaned every day by the most friendly cleaners. The pools and gardens were all immaculate, with the baby pool being the saviour of our holiday! We all loved it!

| said: The cleaning was absolutely excellent and the staff were ever so friendly.
I didn't eat the food but my famly did though and they said it was good.
I didn't watch the entertainment!
We will definitely be visiting this apartment again!

| said: We returned to the Nuramar having holidayed here before.
The standardd have gone down dramatically.
The pool filter system was blocked so pool was shut or filthy for the last 4 days.
Llovely entertainment lady gone only to be replaced by lady who clearly didnt like children. very disappointing!

We were not disappointed in any way.In particular the staff were excellent.
Another aspect of the hotel we liked was how 'quiet' it was at night.
All in all good value for money.

| said: Have been back from holiday for 2 weeks now,and wish we were still there. Our apartment was fabulous. We had 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms which were spotless.
They were cleaned 5 days out of 7, and the cleaning staff were very friendly and trustworthy.
The pool area was lovely, and once again spotlessly clean. Plenty of sunbeds, and a nice shallow part of the pool for little ones.
A nice walk to the restaurants, which were extremely good. We had good food most nights. Very pretty at night around the harbour.
Will definately be returning to Menorca and will stay in the Nuramar.

| said: We were in the 2 bedroom apartments and had no problems, all clean and good enough standards for us (3 teenage girls).
Only problem was the back door onto the road wouldn't lock and we had to ask 3 times before this was fixed, however this may have been to lack of communication with the rep and hotel itself.
Also, toaster didn't work properly but overall was a really nice place and more than adequate for us as we did not spend much time at the hotel, would definitely stay there again.

| said: The Nuramar has to be one of the best self catering accomodation I have ever stayed in.
The 2 bed appartment was in actual fact a villa and overlooked the lovely pool area. It had 2 bathrooms and a little area for drying clothes. It was also very spacious and clean.
The staff were very friendly especially the entertainments lady who was always smiling.There was the most brilliant magician one evening but entertainment was not regular. The Thomas Cook rep was also brilliant and always came and had a chat every day.
The beach and resort area were a 10 minute walk away which was lovely for us but might be a problem for families with young children or elderly holiday makers.
I loved Menorca and hope to go back again in September to go Scuba diving but only if its at the Nuramar.

| said: Stayed in 2 bedroomed apartment. Great acommodation,2 bathrooms, plenty of space.Had a room overlooking pool and couldn't have asked for it to be in a better place.
Room floors slightly gritty but overall best self catering accomodation I've stayed in.
Staff stuggling to understand English but generally friendly.Only down side was that could have done with some proper childrens entertainment but that didnt spoil the holiday for us or our children.
Fair walk to bars and beach but a pleasant stroll.
Would definitely stay at the Nuramar again!

| said: Our room was excellent, plenty of space and close to the pool. It was very clean.
The hotel is close to the local amenities, beach and harbour. Some of the staff could not speak very good english but we didnt mind a bit.
I would definitely visit this hotel again as I had a very good time and the weather was great considering it was the last week of the season.

We specifically asked Thomas Cook for a one bedroom apartment that was around the pool on ground floor. No problem they said!
Arrived to find that one bedroom apartments were on first floor and only two bedrooms were ground floor. Very upset as we have a two year old toddler and had a balcony to worry about!
Apartment was small dark and smelly above a noisy games room and overlooking a main road. Awful! Maids were in every day but seemed to only change sheets and towels.
Certain staff seemed rude and unheplful. Pool area though was very clean and well maintained. The one bedroom apartments were awful, the two bed apartments on the other hand looked lovely.
If we had been told correct information we would have gone for the two bed or chosen different accomodation altogether.

| said: Nuramar apartments were very clean, plenty of space, we had a 1 bed apt with 2 kids. air con was great, complex small & friendly, thomas cooks reps really good, cant fault them.
Only criticism, some of the bar staff were a bit offish towards the kids & when a few 13-14 yr olds decided to jump in pool at night, there was no one to tell them to behave.
Not a resort for parents with kids over 12-13, but fantastic for us with kids of 8 & 11, will go back next year.

| said: We had visited Cala n Bosch in 2004 and were really looking forward to our holiday.
Unfortunately our apartment was dirty on arrival and positioned just yards from an extremely busy main road, which you have to walk down to get to the beach (takes 10 minutes). This is the main road in and out of the resort and heavy traffic travels along it for most of the day and night, presumably to stock all the hotels and shops in the resort, which made the holiday pretty intolerable due to lack of sleep. The rep was unable to move us as we went during a very busy period and suggested buying earplugs to help to get some sleep, which we did!
The patio area was unusable as again it was just a few feet from the main road and it was extremely noisy. On arrival we had no water and that situation remained for just over 24 hours. Additionally when attempting to make a cup of tea when we arrived the kettle failed to cut out and boiled over the side (luckily no small children in the party). We reported this to reception and several hours later we were given a repaired kettle.
The reception area and pool was clean, however, our apartment was dingy and could do with redecoration and not cleaned properly although towels were replaced on a daily basis which was good.
The 2 bedroomed apartments were spacious but the sofa bed left a lot to be desired. Definitely would visit the resort again but certainly not this complex and we wouldn't want to risk being placed on the side of a main road.

| said: The Nuramar is fantastic, the grounds and reception area are kept immaculate by staff who seem genuinely pleased to have you there.
The swimming pools are great for both adults and kids and plenty of sunbeds to go round. Bar service is good and the games areas again good for both kids and adults.
The apartments are serviced by friendly maids as long as you make a bit of an effort with them. There were 4 adults, 1 child and 1 baby in our 2 bedroomed apartment and we had plenty of room. The only down side for us was the hard floor with a baby having just started crawling, we were reluctant to let him loose on it in case he 'nutted' it.
Fantastic place to stay and we cant wait to go back again soon only next time it will be for 2 weeks not 1

| said: The Nuramar was one of the best accommodations I have stayed in. Despite being allocated in one of the "smaller" (1 bed roomed) apartments, it was still spacious, airy and impeccably clean.
The accommodation is centred around a lovely big pool, with a separate children's pool - both of which were clean and well kept. Near to the pool was a child's play area with swings, slide, see saw etc. This was lovely as I was able to lay on the sunbed and watch my 2 year old play.
All the public areas were well kept and the non smoking "games" room adjoining the bar was lovely.
Food from the bar although basic choice was always well cooked and well presented.
All the staff were lovely, really helpful and obliging.
The only slight drawback was the "children's club" / entertainment. The apartments had just recently employed an entertainments co-ordinator, who was a bit haphazard to say the least. The kids club seemed to run when someone asked, or when she bumped into a child! Very pleasant lady though.
The location was great - certainly no more than 10 minutes to the harbour, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

| said: How JMC have this in there brochure is a mystery to me. We arrived and didnt even bother unpacking. The 1 bedroom apratments were dark and dingy and dirty. The cot the provided for my 5 month old bavy was a joke. I wouldnt have let a dog sleep in it. The bed linen looked unwashed and was stained.
The only plus point appeared to be a spacious balcony - pity it looked out straight over a road less than 10 yards away.
This is really the worst place i have been in 10 years of package holidays and would not recommed it to anyone. The JMC reps to their credit had us moved quickly and we were in new apartments in a new resort within an hour of arriving.

| said: We had an absolutely fabulous appartment, directly over looking the swimming pool, with a large terrace, surrounded by grass.
The appartment was clean, linen was changed practically every other day.
A bit of a walk to the harbour about 15 minutes, but a lovely stroll along the sea front.
The bus service was really reliable and there is a little train that takes you around Cal'n Bosch.
Really enjoyed our holiday.

| said: We booked the Nuramar mainly because of the lovely pictures in the brochure of the pool area and the apartments which are located in blocks of 4 around the pool area.We found it almost exactly as it was pictured in the brochure so were not disapointed.
However our 2 bedroom apartment (which we booked to get the private garden which turned out to be a terrace)was spacious but not awfully clean ,when we arrived there were powdery footprints across the living area!!!.It was not really dirty, more dusty and grubby.It was not anything like on Holidays from hell and wouldn't stop me going again.We had to report our fridge was not working and within an hour or so we had a brand new fridge.Very Impressive!!
The apartments are all spaced out in gardens with only a few with pool views ,some got the sun in the morning and some like ours got the sun all afternoon and evening.
The pool area was very pretty and the pool was spotless everyday.
The service at the pool bar for snacks was a bit dodgy but the bar seemed overworked as barman and waiter as the kitchen was some distance from the bar!
The resaturant was closed this year but I do not know if that is permanent.
We appeared to be one of the few guests without 2.4 children but they were all well behaved and well looked after by the Nuramar's Maria who ran a childrens club most mornings.
We were glad to have paid extra for the 2-bed apartment as the 1-bed apartments do not feature in the pictures in the brochure ,They are above the reception and dining room and face away from the pool with some overlooking the road!
The Nuramar apartments are only a 5 min walk from the harbour area where you find all the shops and restaurants in Cala n Bosch. So are ideal for a relaxing holiday with everthing in easy reach.

| said: Rooms were rarely cleaned and at night cockroaches came out from under the kitchen area.
Staff were very hard to find.
There was no entertainment at all.
Compained to hotel manager who was not interested!
Has the potential to be great but lack of investment and staff made it very poor indeed.
