| said: Hi we just got back from the hilidays in the Mandalinci Hotel. First of all this is not a 3 star hotel. I've been travelling a lot but this is the worst hotel i've ever had.I would notgive this so called hotel even 1 star. Room is dirty tiles are missing on the walls, all the taps dirty, toilet seat broken, balcony full of rubbish, 5 channels on TV, how can you say to the people it's a 3 star.

| said: Second visit to this hotel (first 2005 and was brilliant). Not so hot this time, the place needs a little tlc. The entertainment was very poor. The place has certainly gone down in the last two years but a local did suggest it was because the new owner has plans to convert it into apartments hence the deteriation. The usual boiled eggs and ham breakfast ....yuk! The cleaners and the bar staff were very friendly but the reception staff are not very welcoming. I'd recommend the resort but I'd give this place a miss

I thought that the staff were really helpful especially Akin. We are going back in September. Although I have made sure that our room is NOT on Bar Street side, as it does get noisy.

| said: We have just returned from two weeks at the Mandalinci hotel Turgetreis.
We stayed half board and food was variable from excellent to cold and boring. A bit repetitive at times but typically Turkish in type served.
Cleaners excellent and thorough, staff friendly.
However we found that the entertainment side was lacking. We know it is coming to the end of the season but we felt it was a bit premature to be winding down.
Location brilliant.
Lovely pool leads onto the beach.
Rooms facing the beach bar(ours included) faced an onslaught of loud house music-and we mean loud- until 4am most nights. Requests to move fell on deaf ears so on this basis we would not return. Unfortunately this did spoil our holiday but the locals are so welcoming we will return but to another hotel.

| said: If your staying here go b&b as we found the food reptetative and bland.
The room cleaners cannot be faulted, our room was spotless for the 2 weeks we were there.
As above the food we thought was terrible. be aware of the "special" orange juice offered at breakfast, which will then be charged to your room.
On the whole the staff were very good and helpful.
Entertainment - I found more entertainment in bar street with mr bean from radio bar, tash from tash's and sam from the cool breeze bar.
I would be more inclined to go to one of the many smaller hotels further up the beach or over by the harbour.
If you expect to sit around the pool and quietly relax sunbathing, forget it. Loud music played all day, even louder when the basketball is played at 4.30pm and the same music everyday - would recommend you take an i-pod !
all in all this hotel was a major letdown, but I suppose it is down to individuals and what they are used to.

If you like salads you will be ok. Limited hot food (2 meat or 1 meat & 1 fish, lots of sprouts !!! hot & cold !!!!!!)worth booking half board though as the Turkish night & the welcome night cost £10 each with fab buffet.
Close to some good food places & ace bars.
Good reception guys, Amanda & the Animation team are lovely.2/3 activities per day for the animation team although I feel they could do more.
We never visit the same resort twice so would not go back , but would recomend to younger couples or party people!

| said: The hotel was not to be faulted in the service they provided, the breakfasts were varied and plentiful and the staff always helpful.
However some 50% of the rooms back onto bar Street and the noise both from music and drunken people was unbearable and lasting most days until 5am making sleep impossible.
Trying to move rooms always fell on deaf ears and in the end we purchased ear plugs from the local chemist which did help a little.
Apart from that as stated all within the hotel was spot on especially the daily programs for kids and families top marks to their animation team and waiting staff.
The rooms were adequate apart from the dull colour schemes which meant that lights were required during the day to help you see, rooms were well serviced and kept clean with regular towel and linen changes and the maid service were helpful and thorough.
The hotel location is just a hop to the beach and central to all amenities.
Such a shame that a great hotel is spoilt by adjoining bars and the din that they impart.

| said: My family and I found nothing wrong with the hotel at all, we went bed and breakfast and really enjoyed the themed nights.
During the day on the beach just seconds from the hotel we were always asked if we would like to join in on the day and night enterainment which were always very fun.
The themed nights such as the Turkish nights were great, the food was delicious. We was up every morning eating the Turkish breakfast it may have been different but still lovely.
I feel that the location of the hotel was perfect we had everything we needed just minutes away including bars, restaurants, shops and the supermarket.
Our rooms were just opposite the bar side and of course there was noise but that is what holidays are about, its not just our holiday at the end of the day, if we had wanted to go somewhere quieter there are many hotels available not so near the centre but we did spend many nights down at the bars and of course didnt mind the noise.
The first night there the noise seemed loud but then so did mosque prayers but by the second night or morning we couldn't hear either. We found that everyone was very polite and friendly be at a bar or restaurant.
We found the hotel staff excellant they were all very helpful and friendly what was weild was that by the first few days they already knew our room number that was how much they really cared and took notice of people who stayed there.
We all really didnt want to leave and cant wait until next year when we go back and hope we will again be on the bar side.
We recommand this hotel and we also recommend that you research every hotel you go to so then you may not be disappointed when you arrive, but we can't see any reason why you would be disappointed with this great hotel.

| said: Even though I e-mailed the hotel to ask not to be put on bar street, my friend and I found ourselves there. We repeatedly asked to be moved but were not successful until our ninth night.
The hotel is in a good position for all things but much too close to the bars, which are open until very late.
Loud noise goes on most of the night.
Although we will not be returning to this hotel we will be going back to the resort.

| said: Hotel was kept very clean with efficient maid service everyday.
The Food was adequate in the pool bar and resonably priced but the breakfast was a bit repetitive but servce was excellent.
Comments from other guests indicated a lot of noise from the 'Bar Street' but our location on the other side of the hotel was peacful.
The hotel staff really made out holiday successful especially the bar staff, Yasemin, Zeynep (Lemsip), Ozer (bar boy Ozzy), Kedir, Bulent, Mehmet (bad boy Mehmet) and all managed efficiently by their boss Gurcan Tezman all being a credit to the Mandalinci Hotel. Not to mention the restaurant staff managed by Cem.
The Turkish and BBQ nights were great fun and the food excellent should not be missed but the Karaoke needs some work ;)
And the resident singer guitarist.....we won't mention!
Definatly go back, hopefully next year!

| said: We generally enjoyed our stay. The Maid service was excellent. The Hotel is in a great location by the beach. We had rooms away from Bar Street so slept very well. Air conditioning was excellent. However my sons developed an acute ear infection due to the poor water quality in the swimming pool so watch out! Also watch out for the sleazy waiter. A bit too slimy!
Apart from that great holiday

Bars a bit too near but after asking I was moved to a better room. Staff so friendly and would go out of their way to help. Great with the kids. Amanda at the kids club is a great asset to the hotel so are Ozzy, ismail, small memhet, big memhet, Kareem the best chef in turkey and Akim on reception.
Am going back in October so hope the holiday is the same standard.

The hotel is central and right on the beach my husband and myself and our friends cannot fault it. The town is compact very friendly, and now it is known where we normally eat and drink, the staff in the other bars laugh and joke with us, after all they are all trying to make a living. We will be going back again all being well next year and we can't wait.

| said: About half of the rooms are adjacent to what is locally known as "Bar Street". The edge of the designated bar area is just 7 metres from the balcony. LOUD music is permitted until 4am and sleep is virtually impossible. It took 6 days of asking to get us moved to a quiet room, after which we were able to enjoy the remainder of the holiday.
We also experienced cockroaches in our rooms three times in 14 days, but I have no reason to suppose that this is typical.
I am attempting to obtain compensation from Manos/Panorama, part of the Mytravel group, but I will not be using them again.
