| said: When we first arrived it was around one in the morning so, was really dark and we could not really take much of our surroundings in but, we were met by really friendly staff who insisted on carring all our luggage.We were given a choice of rooms and choice of floor that we would like to be on as there was only two floors we took the top floor and overlooking the pool. The following morning we could not believe our luck when we saw the place in daylight it was lovely. The hotel is set in two large blocks of white buildings with a lot of flowers and greenery. There are two large pools one with a childrens area and they are very well kept. The whole of the hotel is just immaculate and the staff are great, really nice and cannot do enough for you.It is also located right at the beach with just a small pavement to seperate them. There are loads of sunbeds and they are all free.We were on bb basis and hubby did not like the turkish breakfast much nor did he think much of the one evening meal we had there.
There is no entertainment laid on at this hotel but, the trip to Gumbet or Bodrum is only ten mins by taxi and there is something for everyone there. We have been to turkey many times but, never Ortakent but, we liked it so much and this hotel is the best we have ever stayed at in turkey so, we are going back September.
