| said: What a paradise. Went to The Palace on a second honeymoon for 20th Wedding Anniversary. Everything about this hotel was superb.
Staff were all eager to please, nothing was too much trouble.
Pool area was well laid out with umbrellas to every 2 sunbeds, hotel towels were put out by a member of staff on sunbeds and glasses of water were constantly topped up.
Food was first class. Celebrities restaurant is a must especially for an occasion. On mentioning that it was our wedding anniversary half way through our meal, we were surprised & delighted when with our coffee a small chocolate desert was brought out with happy 20th anniversary decorated on it & the singer came over singing Congratulations. That's what I call service.
All the rooms face the beach & because it has its own private beach it is totally unaffected by the building work currently going on around the beach area.
The desert Safari is a must, bouncing over the dunes in a 4x4 & a BBQ at a desert camp.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone with an eye for luxury. Already saving to go back for our Silver Wedding.

The resort is huge and in immaculate condition, nothing less than spectacular to view. There are several restaurants to eat at within the resort, all of which served fantastic cuisine, however be sure to book a table in advance as they can get full pretty quickly.
The staff are absolute angels, always keen to greet and assist guests, they really made us feel like royalty.
The location also was outstanding, situated right on the very beautiful Jumeira beach with a view of the port and the Palm Island project. Taxi's are available to take guests out of the resort, I visited the gold markets and also a shopping village, both of which were reasonably short journeys.
Our days consisted of sun lounging, sipping cocktails on the beach and the odd massage, turkish bath or desert safari. Most nights we would go for food at a restaurant within the resort, followed by a shisha at the courtyard (strange smoking device, fruity flavoured, must be done!)and then off to the hotel nightclub Kasbar, which can be a lot of fun. We also visited a couple of other bars and nightclubs out of the resort (through staff recomendations) and in general experienced some brilliant nights.
The whole family thoroughly enjoyed this piece of paradise, it was an amazing holiday that will never be forgotten. I could go on all day about the quality and superiority of this hotel for people that desire a relaxing and luxorious break but I feel it is better to just say... Go!
