| said: Club Cherry is situated very close to the beach and resort centre but also close to a residential area. Many local residents keep dogs which started barking as the sun went down and only seemed to stop when the sun came up ! As with any part of Turkey, you expect the dawn cockrels but when you team this with the dogs almost all of our 14 nights' sleeps were disturbed. The bed appeared brand new and the bedding and towels were clen but the apartment was not. We had to buy two bottles of bleach for the loo and shower as the loo was brown (I joke not) and the shower had moss & mould growing in between the tiles on the floor. The staff were very, very friendly, helpful and happy but the management operate a tab system insisting you charge everything to your room to be paid at the end of your stay. Being self catering and on a budget, we said we'd prefer to pay as we go. The staff questioned this, asking why it was a problem, when we insisted that was just the way we preferred it, they said they had to charge it to the room and so we declined from buying any food or drinks from the bar. Their loss. The pool was lovely, large almost heart shaped and warm as a bath. There were plenty of sun loungers. The pool is on depth deep all the way but as there is a children's pool (which most kids used) this wasn't a problem (at least not to us). The cleaners came every day, even Sundays and made lovely arrangements with the bedding - worth keeping your camera by to take keepsake snaps. Only downside is that although the balconies are about 10 foot square it wasn't cleaned once the whole fortnight and neither were the table and chairs - we cleaned these ourselves at the start of the holday with the bleach. Be careful with paying for the safety deposit box and air conditioning - the information pack in the room on the day we arrived - marked Summer 2008 - said the safety deposit box was £7 per week and the air conditioning £20 per week. But when we went to pay they told us it was last year's prices and should be £14 per week for the safety deposit box and £3 per night for the air conditioning. Luckily the rep came into reception whilst we were there and insisted we should pay as per the information book, which we did. They had one Turkish Night whilst we were there - although we've been to Turkey around 14 times and have seem these time and again, they had belly dancers, break dancers and folk dancers and if you insisted you didn't want to dance, they didn't push it but allowed you to enjoy the experience. The cost was £10 per person including a bbq with meze, grilled meats and salads and all in all, well worth the money. All in all, the Club Cherry was very acceptable and reasonable . Biggest downside was the dogs at night so if you've young children or find it difficult to sleep don't go there or take ear muffs or ear plugs !!

There are a lot of restaurants and shops around the area so its not a long walk. The food in the hotel is excellent cooked to perfection.
Will not forget the holiday, hotel or staff and would come back any day hope they don't forget us.

| said: complex is good for families and couples though watch main pool there is no shallow end 1.7m all round. AIR CON IN SOME APARTMENTS DOESNT WORK . WE WERE IN 2 APARTMENTS AND IN BOTH IT WAS BROKEN.After a bit of a fight we did get them to call out an engineer to fix the second room. No cash accepted at bar they use a card system but we paid our bill daily and it was always spot on.A tip is to make sure you get a copy receipt and sign below your last purchase. The maids were brilliant and rooms were kept spotless. A pity
they seemed unable to keep the entertainment staff we had 2 in 2 weeks who both only lased 2 days each. Made a big difference to atmospher with entertainers.
all round a decent enough complex

| said: I have stayed at the Club Cherry before so was aware that it had some limitations. However this year the general standard seems to have fallen.
On arrival we were allocated an apartment which obviously had not been prepared for guests as it was dirty and not equipped with towels or bed linen. This was in fairness remedied the same day, however it was then three days before we saw the cleaners again. Promises were made by the staff and sometimes kept but in the 2 weeks of our stay the room was cleaned only 4 times. Should we have wished to self cater it would have proved difficult with only 3 of everything and only 2 saucepans. The electric hob was unsafe with bare wire where previous occupants had left them on the hot rings.
During the early evening for 2 hours the noise from the bars music system became almost unbearable I have teenage children and am used to loud music but this was really unacceptable.
Staff were generally friendly until offers of attending the Turkish night were declined then the level of helpfulness dropped. They appeared to have a good rapport with the younger children but on one occasion I was alarmed to see a young girl being lifted onto the roof of the outside bar to dance with the waiters. I have photographs of this which I will forward to Thomas Cook.
This is one property I do not intend visiting again

| said: I originally booked to stay one week at Club Cherry but I loved it so much I decided to stay another week.
The apartments are basic but clean and well maintained with maid service daily.
The food at the hotel is good if you don’t want to trail into town but would recommend the villa on the main strip which is about five minutes walk away.
The hotel staffs were excellent giving the place a lot of character and always helpful. Apart from the bar staff the only entertainment to speak of is the Turkish themed night which was the highlight of my holiday including break/belly dancers and a large buffet. Would recommend club cherry to families and couples however not much night life for anyone looking for something a bit more lively.

| said: We traveled to turkey end of the season, when we arrived our hotel was damp and cold. I needed a cot for my 1 year old son and when they brought it up we had a nasty surprise in it. we asked if we could change apartments because we wanted sun in the evening they changed us with no problem. The pool area was lovely though and the restaurantes and the beach were lovely.

| said: We arrived early hours after a long flight from Newcastle. When we arrived the staff were friendly enough but as my husband is Turkish I left it all to him to sort out.
We soon discovered when our daughter jumped into bed that it was wet!!! My husband sorted out the problem with a member of staff, it turned out that there had been a rain storm before we had arrived and the window had been left open! That was about the only problem we had, after that everything with the aparts was great.
I can not stress enough how clean the pool was it was by far the best pool I have seen so far in Turkey, our daughters were never out of it!
If i was to pick any fault it would be with other people staying there. We were next door to a family of Dutch people who were all adults but they liked a good drink, hence the scraping of chairs on the balcony and the clinking of wine glasses, but lets face it when you go away on holiday and stay in either aparts or a hotel you cannot guarantee what your neighbours are like!
Anyway we had a lovely week with red hot weather, got a lovely tan from a roof top sun area which they have.
Our girls are 7 and 14 and we felt at ease to let them wander around the complex within reason, you could always see them from wherever you were sunbathing.
As mentioned there are one or two cats wandering around but again you get that all over Turkey also people tend to take pity and feed them so I guess it encourages them to keep coming back.
The aparts are only a few mins walk from the beach and there are 3 or 4 supermarkets near by a Migros and Tansas and a Gima store are the main ones we found.
We did not eat at the apart restaurant as it was very expensive, we also did not eat at the main tourist areas alongside the beach as again its too expensive and its all English food. As my husband is Turkish he likes to find a nice REAL Turkish restaurant and we found one which was fantastic its name ALLO 24 its opposite the market area its very cheap and it's top class Turkish food. We were spending around 25-30 million lira per night which is around 12-15£ that's for the 4 of us, other people we were talking to were spending that each in the tourist areas, you have to be very careful.
As we went in October the season was coming to an end so there was no entertainment for us to comment on.
We would not visit that area of Turkey again but the aparts I would recommend without a doubt, good clean, friendly and again the pool was top class.
Hope this will be of help to you....
Thanks.

The staff were very friendly, loved the kids, not much in the way of evening entertainment.
The food was not too bad although we found it much better to take a short walk into the resort to eat at one of the many resturants around.
The pool was superb, very clean and well looked after the kids loved it. Would go back to Turkey but not to Club Cherry.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
The BBQ is a must, the food was delicious, the entertainment was good, dancers and belly dancers.
The only let down was some of the other holidaymakers, who decided to run around screaming at 2am, other than that, reasonably quiet.

| said: We had our doubts as we had read previous reports on this hotel.
To say we were pleasantly surprised was an understatement.
The layout of the apartments around the pool was perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough for you.
We ate in the hotel restaurant as well as in the resort. The food was lovely everywhere we ate without exception and very cheap.
The apartments were clean with daily maid service. Any problems we did have were sorted immediately.
Myself, friends and family cannot wait to go back.

| said: Club Cherry was excellent. Self catering but in a couple of nights and food was great. Maid service daily.
The location was spot on as it said in brochure, set back from main night life but close enough to walk to everything, with 2 big supermarkets close by.
The staff made the holiday, Hasan one of the managers was great along with all his staff who we made great friends with, we swopped numbers to keep in touch.
Not much entertainment to talk about but the weekly BBQ was great fun, my husband loved the belly dancer!
I hope to visit again next year and recommend it.

| said: The apartments are 2 storey around the 1.7m pool - they look very attractive & the potential is great but this was not utilised.
The apartments are basic but enough room for us - 1 double room with 2 single sofa beds for the kids. We pushed the sofa beds together as we were worried about our youngest falling out on the stone floor - when moving the bed - dust & dirt was uncovered - & there it stayed on the floor for the 14 nights we were there.
The toilet was broken and dirty in the bathroom - maintenance man came imeediately to fix but the standard of cleanliness was very poor.We understood from staff that new management was in place for this season - of the 5 bar staff who were there when we arrived - all 5 had left by the end of our stay!
It is a shame as the layout of the apartments is good; the reception staff were excellent; we ate in a couple of times & the food was excellent but most of the time the chef was bored as no one was staying to eat/drink @ the bar/restaurant area within the apartments - no atmosphere - but chef is an excellent football player as my eldest (10yrs) will tell you.
The position of the apartments is good - 5 mins walk from taown centre so away from any noise. We all had a good hols, just wish the cleanliness was better.

| said: The apartments are set around the EXCELLENT large 1.7M deep Pool in pleasant garden.
The pool bar and restaurant were very good and compliments to the chef for the well prepared and tasy dishes.
Maid service was daily and could not be faulted.
The staff overall were keen to please without being intrusive.
The location was as per brochure, just far enough away from the beach and shops to be quiet whilst the walk was all of 5 - 10 minutes.
We intend to return.
