Have stayed here twice, both times when attending a pop concert with my youngest daughter at the MEN.

This hotel is in an ideal location for attending the MEN, it is a 5 min walk from the hotel more or less straight down the road and the Victoria Station which is opposite the MEN is also very accessible.

The Arndale shopping centre is also nearby and certainly within walking distance. The hotel is cheap and cheerful, it cost us 41 for the room for the night, the hotel is very clean, the staff were very cheerful and helpful, the hotel is modern.

The hotel has a bar and does serve food although we did not eat here.
The rooms are maybe on the small side but adequate, with a double bed and if sleeping 3 in the room has a bunk bed attached to the wall over the double bed. Tea & coffee in the room plus a TV and heating. The bathroom is small and does not have a bath, just a loo, sink and a shower but the price you pay, we had no problem with this.

Also stayed at the Dolby in Liverpool which is at the Docks, no problem staying here either. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay that is clean and friendly I would highly recommend the Dolby.
