| said: We have just come back from a fantastic week at the Felix Choro Apartments in the popular Montechoro district of Albufiera in Portugals beautiful Algarve region.
Wonderful weather with the daytime temp not dropping below 84'!!!
The staff where very friendly and helpful, both in the apartments and the bar with charasmatic 'Dinis' (who loves Cadbury's caramels if you fancy taking a bag over for him!!!) serving you up excellent food and drinks by the pool day and night till the last one leaves the bar, usually til way after 2am some nights. They have satalite in the bar area with all the top sporting action and the soaps from back home for the other half!!!
There is a well equipped games room with a fantastic quality pool table, table tennis, darts, sky sports, arcade machines, and pinball machine which is kept open til the bar area closes. This is connected to a flood lit all weather football and tennis courts.
The rooms are clean and well equipped with balconies facing the forward sun all day, twin pool area for the young and old families.
The helpful receptionist will call you a cab and will give you details of the daily courtesy bus which will transport you to the lovely beach and back again, and can get you the best deals on golf at the nearby quality Salgados golf complex (about 15 euros in taxi e/w and 31 Euros unlimited golf per day) 15 km away at the pituresque Salgados Beach.
