	The Alkyon is ideally situated close to the heart of Skiathos Town. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel boasts a sun terrace and roof garden overlooking the pretty harbour.

rated the Alkyon Hotel as follows: Cleanliness Location Staff Food Entertainment	said: The Alykon Hotel is in an exellent location just mins from the main street bus terminus and harbour. Rooms were cleaned every day. Buffy breakfast was served on the roof top terrace over looking the harbour which started the day perfectly.Staff were very friendly and the owner who has young children encouraged all the children to play together which was nice. The lady on reception Petra who has been there seventeen years was exeptionally nice. We had to leave our eldest son behind to catch a flight four days later as we left his passport behind, if it wasnt for Petra he would have missed half the holiday but she helped us arrange a flight and get him to the island via thassalonika so he was with us a day and half later how kind was that! The only fault I would have is that the pool is quite deep so our youngest wasnt able to go in but the exellent beaches made up for it. We will definatley go back to this hotel. rated the Alkyon Hotel as follows: Cleanliness Location Staff Food Entertainment	said: Recently returned from an excellent holiday in Skiathos the Alkyon was more than adequate in every way. Rooms cleaned daily with a smile, clean towels every day & sheets changed twice. Public areas comfortable and spacious, pool and surrounding areas kept clean and tidy, plenty of sun beds. Staff friendly and helpful at all times. Food was a plentiful cold buffet style, cereal,fruit, yoghurt,bread, preserves,cheese, ham and boiled eggs. The location excellent but could be lively in high season. The only entertainment was the hotel bar, not a problem as there were plenty of tavernas a few minutes flat stroll away. After a most relaxing holiday would certainly return to the Alkyon again.
