| said: the zorbas family house is very clean & friendly with lovely views & nice gentle breeze due to it being on a hill the staff are all very polite & make a real effort in making your holiday as relaxing as possible. the food at the bar is simple but tasty & the cocktails are fab i would visit again.

| said: This was our 4th visit to Skiathos and first visit to Zorbas Studios and apartments and we will certainly be returning there. The apartments were situated up a very short hill but this was no problem to us at all, even with a buggy, shopping and two small children! The apartments are a 10 minute pleasant walk from the nearest beach. The apartments are fantastic! Lovely views, very spacious and well equipped kitchen. The pool area is perfect for young families although we did spend most of our days on the beach. The family that own the apartments were very friendly and very helpful too.

| said: we travelled here for the champions leagues final! There was 7 of us who made our way here then across to Athens on the day of the final.
We found the staff here excellent. The bar stayed open till we'd had enough which was very late!!! they couldnt do enough for us.
The hill isn't even a problem, well worth it for the excellent view's. Gorgeous tavern's at the bottom of the hill, which we ate in every night. As we went in may there wasn't much nightlife in the centre but plenty back at the hotel bar! pool fantastic, definitely be back again.

| said: This was our third visit to Zorbas Family Apartments. Extremely warm welcome every time.
Accomodation typical Greek style, always clean with all the necessary room facilities. The walk up the hill is steep but short and therefore not worth worrying about (I did it 1 week after a knee op!)So don't be put off. The views are really excellent.
The pool relaxing and sunbeds comfortable.
The bar will stay open until you are ready to go to bed and the family can't do enough for you.
Local restaurants provide excellent food especially the Minstralli and the town is not too far by taxi or bus which is a must.
We will be going back again this year. Very safe island for families, my daughter and her friends stayed on last year and will again this year for a futher two weeks without the adults. Highly recommend it.

| said: A word of warning. This resort is warned of "steep hill", this is an understatment. The access road to the resort is on the side of a very, very sharp incline and in the opinion of almost everybody we spoke to was understated by all booking agents.
As we are a young family we had a buggy and for the days we did not have a car we found it a slog to get both us, shopping & kids up this hill.
Although we were there at the back end of the season we did not expect the resort to be as ghostly as it was, for the last week we were hard pushed to find any of the resort staff as they appeared to have partially closed the resort a week early.
To sum up this resort. If you like a breath taking view from your balcony, you are a younger couple or hardened hill walker, are preferably a couple this is probebly ok for you, for anybody else I find it hard to say I would seriously reconsider this location.

Our apartment was cleaned every day, it was spacious and the views from the balcony were breathtaking.
Yes, there is a walk up the hill but my boyfriend and I enjoyed it for the views, the chance to burn off the delcious Greek food and for the fact that we weren't woken up by traffic and noise from the town.
In reality those who have complained of the hill are fat or lazy, it takes literally 2 minutes to walk up it for goodness sakes! (sorry for the outburst but the whingers have annoyed me as the Zorbas is well worth a small hill, the photos in the brochures just don't do it justice, its a lovely little place).
Anyway, I recommend the Zorbas wholeheartedly and the island of Skiathos is simply beautiful.
The apartments are in the town of Agia Paraskevi which is right in the centre of everything. Perfect! There is a bus that runs from stop 0 to 26, one end of the island to the other. This route takes 30ish minutes.
Skiathos town which is amazing (restaurants scuna and the windmill are a must!) is at bus stop 0, the Zorbas is at bus stop 16 and Koukanaries beach (amazing) is at bus stop 26.
The Zorbas is situated perfectly to enjoy all that the island has!
Agia Paraskevi is too quiet for a young 20ish couple so we preferred to go into Skiathos town every night but Infinity Blue is a nice restaurant just 5 mins walk from the apartments if you want to stay local.
All in all, an amazing holiday, amazing location and amazing apartments. 10/10

The trudge up the steep hill was tiring, but the views from the apartments made it worthwhile!
The rooms were spotless and the pool was wonderful!
We found the whole experience very relaxing and peaceful!
Just one gripe, we came home on October 12th, and the area was winding down for the winter, we should have booked in a week before, then we could have gone on some of the day boat trips.

| said: Zorbas is an excellent place to stay, the rooms are modern and clean and the family that run it are very welcoming. It is up a bit of hill but this is not a problem as you benefit from great views and are able to keep active. The pool and bar area are lovely and provide a good base for evening socialising.

| said: Brand new section when we visited 1st June. Brilliant!
Been to many Islands in the Aegean & Ionian and this place ranks with the very best (even though it's simply Greece!!). Most pleasent family run place. English speaking so easy to make conversation and smoetimes amusing. Bar excellent and the cheapest place for the ice cold Mythos or 'Zorbas' beer. Snacks also fresh and inexpensive. Watch out for chipora - family brews it's own ouzo with an added kick, you have been warned! Up the hill from the main road (street probably reflects the buisness of the area) with great views. Clean and smart throughout.
We found the food at Avli the best when we wandered down the hill and it's the nearest.
