| said: From the day we arrived to when we left the room and its surroundings were always clean and well maintained.
The pool, though quite small was adequate enough as the hotel was never too crowded (even in july) and also, there were a number of nearby pools which you were allowed access to if you wished.
The location of the hotel was ok, however probably not ideal for those with walking difficulties or perhaos very young children. However i fyou have the use of a rental car it wouldnt be a problem as aghia paraskevi beach is only about a ten min walk on a straight road.
the one negative regarding the hotel would be the atmosphere regarding entertainment as there is none! however, we knew this when we booked it. If you wish for a more lively atmosphere skiathos town is a bus ride away and has many bars and restaurants to keep you entertained!

| said: Prekas Studios was a lovely little layed back holiday, perfect for the ultimate chilled out and relaxing holiday.
Nikos and Maria, with their 3 sons could not do enough to make us feel welcome. the food from the taverna at the hotel was basic but very nicely prepared and tasted wonderful.
The hotel is a very easy 5 minute waslk from the main road and bus route, which takes you to the main Skiathos Town and all the major beaches. There is also a mini-market across the road and a larger one on the main road.
Skiathos Town is very lively with alot of taverna's and bars. I suggest you got there at night time. the buses can get abosultly ramed between 7pm til 9pm. One night we waited over an hour for space. Instead we just got a taxi that only cost 9euros.
Overall, this holiday was excellent with breath-taking beaches, relaxing hotel and full of culture Skiathos Town.

| said: Prekas Studios, although self catering have the Calma Taverna as part of the accommodation. The food provided there by Nikos and Maria is fantastic.
If you're looking for discos and karaoke, this isn't the place for you though! The location of the studios is wonderful for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, only 10 minutes walk to the centre of the resort(which is not very big, but has a nice beach) and about 20 minutes bus ride to Skiathos town, there is a supermarket about 2 mins walk from the Studios.
There is a nice pool which is set in the lovely gardens surrounding the Prekas studios. I would recommend these studios to those who are looking for a relaxing holiday, in a nice location, run by very friendly people.
