| said: we have just returned from our first go at independent travel in greece where we stayed at boudouriani house hotel and we loved every minute of our stay there The hotel is run by the very friendly and welcoming family who own it. The photos from the web site did not do it justice and the photos in the Thompson catalogue are outdated. The hotel is lovely with dark rattan furniture around the bar and pool and on the balconies. It is lovely and clean and Sofia and Christos look after you in the day time and have a good choice of food available all day and it is so easy to stay around that pool on those fab new sunbeds. Come evening and Ellias appears and continues where his parents left off, happy to look after you and serve you drinks until you are ready to go to bed. Try the coffee and baileys its delish.
It is only a few minutes walk from the beautiful Troulos beach and the bus stop to skiathos town and the other amazing beaches on the island is 50m away. Banana beach is a must. As for eating there are plenty of tavernas within walking distance to keep you going not to mention those on the beach.
Would we recommend this hotel, without hesitation and if we go back to skiathos we will definitely be going back to see Ellias and his family.

Excellent swimming pool and all round above average.
Only real problem was accommodation was on the main road and suffered badly from traffic noise.
