The bungalows were fine, clean and up to standard for a basic holiday. We had one for the parents and one for the grown up children. Electric sockets in kitchen not working and had to be replaced. Every night infested by ants, especially the bedrooms and toilet. Hotel dealt with this.

Food was OK but better to eat out, better choice and their restaurant was hot, no air conditioning.

Staff were polite.

Now the bad bit. Both Pools had tiles missing and many sharp broken tiles at water level. Very dangerous especially for children. Rep said it was in hand. All the sun loungers, and I mean all were torn. The pool area was empty every day because of this. Rep said he had no idea they were like this. Some rep? We decided not to use this hotel in its present state for daily use or meals. You have been warned!! I have the photos to prove.

Could be a lovely place to stay - very quiet with lots of privacy. Well set out with lovely planting. However, lots of renovation needed - painting, new windows and doors, new pool table.

Shabbiest sunbeds I have ever seen - most very faded and torn.

Good play facilities and mini golf but these were never cleaned while we were there.

Pool not cleaned often enough.

Didn't seem to be enough staff around and receptionists were not particularly helpful.

Rep didn't always turn up.

Don't fall for the camera scams - I did at Shoppers Bay and lost at least £100.

No entertainment or facility to buy anything except water, but supermarket nearby.

We arrived on the sunday evening when the island was being battered by a mini hurricane. We do understand that the villas weren't built for this sort of weather, but was very dismayed to find upon entering the villa late at night water everywhere. It was dripping through the ceiling onto the electric hob, kettle and toaster and the floor was like a paddling pool.

The beds were damp and the bathroom was covered in mildew/mould. Reception closed at 9pm so there
was nothing we could do until the following morning. We complained and was told that the weather conditions were to blame and to pull the beds away from the walls and someone would come and look at the leaks. We were given replacement kettles etc. The new kettle leaked from the base and we had to keep in on a towel as they said they didn't have anymore. No-one came to look at the leaks.

The weather improved from Monday onwards and things dried out, but we could not open our patio doors as the wood had swelled. On the Tuesday we were able to open the doors, but could not lock them and were told by the man that came to look at them that we were to use the back door and keep the patio doors closed. You try goung all the way round from the back to sit on your patio with plates, cups etc. Not Fun. Also from a security point of the view the doors were only bolted from the inside - not locked - one hard push and anyone could get in.

On the day we left (sunday) the maintenance man turned up with a bucket of paint and a paint brush and painted over the mould in the bathroom. Everything still smelt very musty. As we mentioned earlier on we know they are not used this these weather conditions, but surely some maintenance and extra care could have been taken.

Not for those who want a lot of entertainment/facilities laid on, but we enjoyed our stay very much.

Studios have large terraces complete with sunbeds, surrounded by well kept and attractive small gardens and the layout means that you are only overlooked by one other studio (if they happen to be using their sunbeds at the same time).

There were nice, clean pools but no-one seemed to use them, everyone sunbathed outside own studios. Patios were in the sun all day long too.

Inside they were reasonably well-equipped and clean, and the shower had plenty of power and hot water. Could perhaps do with a little modernizing, but generally reasonable.

Complex very quiet, and about 15-20 minutes stroll into centre of Playa Blanca, but passing some, restaurants along the way.

We didn't eat in the complex's restaurant so can't comment on that, and there was no entertainment provided.

Would definitely go again for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Individual bungalows, very quiet as only half of them were occupied. Ample room and off the kitchen was a door leading into a locked yard complete with washing line and pegs. We had to be careful not to leave any food out as there seemed to be a problem with ants. However we never saw a cockroach at all. Large pool, but unfortunately no where to get an icecream but there was a supermarket just across the road. Good location close to beach. Cleaning satisfactory.

Lovely individual bungalows with everything you could possibly need. They have a huge terrace with table, chairs and sunbeds, a separate back area with washing line etc - extremely well equiped!
They are very clean and modern inside with tv, full kitchen etc.
In good area just up from beach and bars/restaurants etc and about a 15 min walk into resort centre.
3 lovely pools which were very quiet as people tended to use sunbeds on patio. Perhaps people would use pool more if there was a pool bar!
Overall they are the nicest apartments I have stayed in - and I have stayed in hundreds.
