| said: Large comfortable hotel with good sized rooms. Superb position right on promenade half way between marina and town. Food good but had better, also hotter, but still put weight on.
The staff uniforms made them look like hospital porters, but they were polite and efficient if a little understaffed.
Having stayed at four other hotels in Playa Blanca, this we considered to be the best.
Will definitely return one day.

| said: We (4 adults & 1 child and 1 infant) have just returned from a week at the Hesperia Playa Dorada and had a brilliant time. The hotel is lovely and the staff are very helpful. The rooms (suite for us and twin room for parents) were of a high standard, cleaned and towels changed everyday. The pools were great and kept really well. The kids loved every minute of it. There were some early risers who put towels on sunbeds but there are plenty of sun beds so it wasn't an issue. There was plenty of entertainment in the evenings, a singer in the main foyer/bar area and a show each night in the showroom. There was also activities during the day which you could join in if you wished but never hassled to do so. We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis and the breakfast was good, lots of choice. We had our lunch in the restaurant by the pool most days and again the food was very good. We never ate in the hotel restaurant at night as there is so much choice in Playa Blanca but the restaurant was always full. The only complaints I had about the hotel was they wouldn't provide a kettle in the room, we asked several times (we only needed it to heat babies bottles). Also, there was airconditioning in the rooms but not anywhere else in the hotel so it could get very hot. Overall, this is a beautiful well kept hotel, with fabulous views and only a 3 minute walk to the beach. It is 10 minutes either to the Marina or the town of Playa Blanca so location is excellent. Even though it has grown so much, Playa Blanca still holds its charm and we love it and will be returning again.

| said: We had two rooms with an adjoining door and a sea view that was so idyllic. Tends to be unusual, but lovely, in the way the rooms are alongside an open area that sports beautiful plants and natural daylight. Cleanliness in room and restaurant is second to none. The hotel food is plentiful and caters for all tastes, but does provide quite a lot of pork. Also, it can sometimes be difficult to know what you are eating, because not everything is marked up. The waiters are friendly and very helpful. 0ne of the best locations in the resort - only 5-10 minutes away from the new Marina Rubicon and 10 minutes to the town. Can also approach the town from the promenade by the sea. Supermarket a few minutes away and near other hotels. Reception staff are very helpful and the waiters try very hard to please. Entertainment staff are fabulous and work really hard. Wonderful variety of entertainment. The shows are in Spanish but there are introductions etc. in other languages. As well as providing a children's club also provides activities for teenagers every day and adults. Besides this there is a very good games room and card tables. 0nly real downside is would be good to have air-conditioning in the whole hotel and not just the bedrooms. If we came to Lanzarote again would definitely stay in this hotel.

| said: Hotel staff very attentive to 20 month old. Mixture of English, spanish and german staff.
For entertainment we only stayed for the minidisco which was very Spanish orientated but little one enjoyed it all the same.
Stayed for one week, the food choice was different every evening - two restaurants although we ate in the same one every night because it opened at 7.00 (the other one was 7.15) timing suited baby better.

| said: In general this is a nice hotel, good facilities, friendly staff and adequate rooms.
The shops and restaurants are a 10-15 minute stroll along a pleasant promenade which runs along the whole of Playa Blanca.
We didn't watch much of the in hotel Entertainment (this is a very Spanish/Italian orientated hotel and the shows are geared towards this)but what little we saw and understood was OK.
The breakfast buffet was OK, and there is a choice of smoking or non smoking areas completely separate from each other. But like all hotels after 14 days the choice of food was starting to get a bit monotonous. There is a snack bar by the main pool which is clean and offered a good variety of meals but closes too early. I can't comment on the evening meal as we were bed and breakfast.
Some of the rooms are off at a tangent to the main Hotel and overlook a smaller quieter pool, although no bar or snacks were available (a vending machine for water and fizzy drinks or a shop with very limited supplies) but some of these rooms back onto the road and might be a bit noisy. All the usual amenities (TV, shower, separate WC, safe, etc.) were provided.
The beach (Plava Dorada)is a 5 minute stroll to and is nice, but seems to get very crowded at this time of year.
This hotel is definitely worth a visit if you what a quite break with the option to walk to some nice bars and restaurants a nice beach and don't mind being totally outnumbered by Spanish or Italian holidaymakers.

| said: One of the nicest hotel’s I have ever stayed in very, very clean rooms were cleaned every day. The staff could not do enough to make you happy, food was good but breakfast time could do with another few toaster’s and I wish people would not take away the condiments [sauce] and not return it to the fixture where all the condiment’s where placed.
People had to start searching the tables for them or the staff had to go in search of them.
The inside pool is a added bonus to the outside pools and the sauna’s were great the entertainment was a little on the slow side but you could walk at night into the little town where you could enjoy live music anyway we really enjoyed our stay and would return again next year.

| said: The hotel itself is located near marina end of Playa Blanca. It is quite on a night but not too far to walk along the front to the bars and restaurants.
The rooms are of a good size with sep bathroom and loo. Mine had a balcony facing the sea which I can recommend rather than one facing the pool which are right where the bar area is.
The hotel food is not bad although not always as hot as I would have liked. The only problem came on a morning when the toasters do not work that well so you have to put it through 4 times to get it even slightly brown!
The band on a night are not bad although if you are there for the week the songs are the same over and over again.

| said: In my opinion this is a very nice comfortable hotel. We upgraded to a suite which was massive. The hotel is spotless and staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel food is of buffet style and we found food was varied and always hot dishes were always piping hot or cold if they should have been cold. There is an outside area for dining which is very nice as you can listen to the band who play on the patio in the evenings. The Band were excellent and played until 11.pm followed by enterainment indoors which was of the usual things, Parrot show, Drifters, etc. The hotel is nicely situation directly on Playa Dorada Beach which is ideal for Kids. Drinks in the hotel are very reasonable as is the food at the pool restaurant during the day. All in all a very nice hotel.

| said: I had the best holiday I've ever had at this hotel!
My memories might become rosier and rosier with time but the food was absolutely fantastic with diferent themes every night, we went to Mollies bar for a game of pool on the night and watched the entertainment only once.
It was ok but with two young children we wanted to be out and about. The little town nearby is handy for a stroll out. The room was perfect, the staff really friendly, the beach at the end of the path to the hotel and you can get a drink on thebeach from a little beach bar.
Not the wildest of places but the hotel won't let you down.
