| said: Booked on a late deal £243 for a week and have to say i have paid a lot more and had far worse than Paradise club. The room was strewn with leaves as we opened our door on arrival but i saw no insects whatsoever during our week long stay unlike some of the other guests we spoke to.We smelt sewage as we ran the taps and bottled water was used to brush our teeth. The location is about a mile from the main resort and a taxi ride back is very advisable. The staff were excellent and dealt with a major problem with the shower on the first day within half an hour and returned to check the hot water later that day. They were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and provided a good service. The entertainment was provided some evenings but we chose to go into town so cannot really comment on this. The las Colinas building has the best suntrap pool and had a nice bar area and shop. Not the best place i have ever visited but certainly not the worst.

The only complaint would be the the pool was freezing, although the kids staying at the hotel didnt seem to mind too much.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The complex was within walking distance of the main town but there is a free bus and also taxi's are cheap enough.
I would recommend the apts and would consider going back again.

| said: We found these apartments basic to the point of uncomfortable. Everything was shabby and the lifts do not work - the rep told us no building on the island with less than three floors could have a working lift - go figure that one out!! The sunbeds around the pool didn't look particularly clean.
Our communication with the staff was limited but when we complained about the "sewage" smell from the bathroom, the response was quick and effective.
We found the location okay - Costa Teguise is within walking distance - and on the plus side, possibly because it was January, the complex was pleasantly quiet.
The weather was mixed - very windy and cloudy initially but much improved as the week went on. We had a good break but have learned to be more wary of last minute "bargains".

| said: We got located to this hotel after recieving a change prior to arriving. Was duly disappointed with the location-Too far out of resort. Very quiet and secluded and was able to use the pool at the next hotel(which was better).
The bar meals were good and both the reception staff and bar staff were both friendly and helpful. We stayed on top floor and what a trek without lifts !!!
Room very basic but adequate, Complex was clean and basic.
If your going be aware of how far it is from resort and a taxi generally costs 2-3euros. I know it doesn't seem much but after 2 weeks it mounts up. If you want to there is a courtesy bus which runs on time.
Two words to describe it- cheap and cheerful.

I actually agree with a lot of what the Waltons said, although the rooms were spacious they were filthy and we had to buy our own toilet paper, the towels smelt of greasy chip fat and that was when they were clean (so glad i took my own). The pool was freezing not that that was too much of a problem but i do take offence at dead and alive lizards in the pool with me. There is a mad crazy rush at 5am every morning to get the sun beds people running along the corridors to see who gats there towels on the beds first.I would strongly advice anyone not to walk around the pool area without any kind of shoes as you will have fag ends stuck on the soles of your feet thats if they were out if not make sure you have cream for the burns. There was never enough hot water and the shower was slower than a drip the plug holes dispursed a lovely odour of sewage, so all in all the place was dreadful and as the waltons said we wouldnt go back if we were paid to do so!

The food in the bar was basic but very good (especially the home made pizzas mmmm!). The location is a little too far from the beach (about a 30 minute walk) if you want to do that sort of thing but we diddn't! Plus if you do, the the courtesy bus, which is also free is very good and on time.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The entertainment in the bar wasn't every night but that didn't matter as there was always other people in there.
And as it is a fairly small place we made friends with a few people and had some good evenings just drinking and chatting. All in all a very good place to stay.

It is very close to the Water Park and the Golf Course. The appartmets are very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful without exception.
There is a minimarket adjacent where you can buy all your essentials. A taxi cost approx 3 euros to ge to the town centre. A return courtesy bus is available at varoius times of the day and is free.
There is also various entertainment nights such as a the Reptile Show, very funny Scottish Comedian, Karaoke, quizes and much more.
We had a very relaxing week at the Paradise apartments.

Bar offered basic snacks with very good Pizza (properly home made).
Location is a bit out of the way being up near the waterpark. A good 30 minute trek down to the centre and all uphill coming back. The 4 times a day free bus is much used! with Taxi back at night for 3.5 Euro. However there is a bank at the bottom of the road and a Netto supermarket a few minutes away from that. Probably a 6-7 minute stroll.

Entertainment was available nearly every night of the week we were there, there was live music, discos, bingo, all kinds of things.
Food at the pool bar was a basic menu but very nice.
My only complaint on the accommodation would be the lift does not work so other half had to carry all the cases up the stairs.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
There is a bus to the resort centre which leaves the apartments at 10.05, 12.05, 17.05 & 18.30 the bus back is stated at the apartments as 10 mins after these times but check as it did go back every hour at quarter past until 6ish.

Quite a bit out of the way although a 30 minute walk to the centre of Costa Tequise. Met several other families and had good nights in the bar.
Entertaiment was basic (Karoke) most nights and with the place being small became a regulars routine.
Did the tours whch were good The caves and the mountains and camels we all enjoyed. Hire a car and get about . We all thought Playa Blanca was beautiful and went there for the day on two ocassions. Wished we had booked there instead.

| said: The hotel was fab, the top floor was run by a lift so you didn't have to carry your bags up the stairs.
The rooms are of a very good size. The cleanliness of the apartments was really good, they were cleaned every other day and left you with clean towels every time.
The pool was cleaned every morning and evening which I thought was really good as the children were in it all day every day.
The location was not that far from the beach, the hotel ran a free bus, four times daily which took you within three minutes walk of the sand.
Costa bastian is a small village close to the resort and has two Netto supermarkets, you would be better off buying the square bottles of water there for the first day' then buying from the resort and topping them up as
the resort bottles do not fit in the fridge !
The staff are very helpful and friendly, the men on reception are really pleasant and speak good english. You can also book trips through them which are fully insured.
The bar staff are fab, Renato is a dream he was very much a gentleman all the time, very caring personality, his brother was very kind also. Salt of the earth, they will make you feel at home.
The entertainment was great, there were all sorts of things going on,parrot show, live singers, kareoke and many more things to enjoy.
We would love to come back to our Lanzarote family next year as thats how we think of them. We miss you all very much. The girls, Val,Cerys,Ailsa.

All the time I was there I only saw one cockroach and We stayed for a week. The weather was lovely all through and yes, there was a wind but we found it very refreshing.
The pool was cold but again, very refreshing and soon warms up when your in it. There was building going on nearby but did not cause any noise or inconvenience.
It was quite a walk into the centre but it's worth the walk. Staff seemed friendly and happy to help. I definately advise it.

in the Costa Teguise.
The apartment was very large for a one bedroom and was very clean , the self catering side is not to bad as there is a shop on site but i recommend that you go to the super markets whichs are a twenty minuite walk down to the main resort or get a taxi which is about 2 euros each way.
The location is slightly away from the main resort area.
Staff are very polite and are on hand for any problems through the day and eveing.
The entertainment is not the best but is reasonable but if you have young children it can get a bit to loud as some holiday makers can stay up late till early hours causing hasle for some people.
There is a new complex being built next door but it is nearly finished so by next season it should be up and running. There is some noise from the construction site but is not to loud.
The swimming is very large and cold! But is very welcome as it can get very hot there.

| said: I really enjoyed my stay in Costa Teguise, not because of the island, but because of the hotel. I absolutly loved staying there and being around the pool and being in the bar at night. I am glad that we went Self Catering because it gave us freedom to eat and have our meals when we chose, whether it was from the amazing food at the bar or a short walk in to the town.
The hotel was absolutly spotless, you never saw a speck of dirt anywhere and the cleaners were friendly and never failed to say hello. The barstaff however were astounding, all of them new perfect English and conversed with you whenever you went. They served you quickly and they were totally lovely.
The entertainment at night was quite good, with a different show every night, you couldn't get bored and all of the hosts tried to include the kids as well as adults and that was really fun.
I would definatly visit this holtel again, in fact I am saving up to do so, I made loads of great friends with the staff and the holiday makers, and was gutted when I had to leave. It was no doubt the best holiday I have ever been on in my life!

| said: We chose Paradise Apatments - Costa Teguise for the "Ideal choice for families and couples looking for a peaceful location" from the brochure...
BEWARE!! at the side of Paradise Apartments they are building a new Hotel which starts work at 7.30am with all the usual noises thrown in. We moved apartments away from the reception/bar side (where the building works are)to the bottom end of the complex and it was quite bearable, had it not been for the noise the place was just what we where looking for.
The Apartments are quite a way out and a 10/15 minute walk to the nearest shops which are OK especially the little Chinese Restaurant but to get to the resort itself there is a free bus, walk or taxi as it is quite away off.
The apartments are very large with all you need for cooking and are clean. The staff are polite and friendly and the entertainment seems to get better the more pop you,ve drunk!! Although the apartments will be OK when the building work is finished we found Lanzarote a bit too windy for our liking so wouldn't return in a hurry.

| said: The apartments are situated on a hill about 30 minutes walk from the beach front, so I wouldn't reccommend it if you have small children or are unable to walk long distances. There is a bus that will collect you from the reception area if you want to go to the beach and the reps will tell you the times it comes. The taxi services are pretty good too if you dont mind paying 3 euro's to get there.
The apartments are very basic and don't feature air conditioning, but you do get a microwave, kettle and toaster as well as all utensils you need for making your own meals. There is a television which you have to pay 1 euro per hour to watch and features channel 4, sky one, sky sports, CNN and euro sport.
The hotel bar is tiny and only serves local larger and spirits, but they do try to provide entertainment, which we didn't watch as we have a baby who was in bed by 9pm each night, and that was when the entertainment started. There is a small stage but no dance floor. They do cook breakfast and snacks there until 8pm if you can't be bothered to cook.
The major downsides to the apartments is the fact that when we visited it was very windy and being in such an elevated area mean't that the pool side area was freezing cold and impossible to swim in unless you wanted frost bite!
The other main point about the apartments was that we were plagued by Cockroaches and one day the apartments were fumigated without warning so we were literally knee deep in them. We had them visit us at least four times during our weeks stay and it was not nice. The hotel staff did their best but could only clean them up after we squashed them.
The last downside is that the hotel next door is still in the throwes of construction so the views are not very good and they usually started work at around 9am and finished about 3pm. It didn't bother me too much as the noise was minimal and our apartment was the closest to to site.
The goods points were that there were adequate facilities, a small shop which sold essentials and the staff were very good.
