| said: What a dump, read all the reviews before we went, contacted Thomas Cook and told them of my worries and they ensured that it would be OK. I am now consulting them for a refund. We stayed in C block overlooking waste ground which looked like a dumping ground.
The room was not even a 1 star let alone 4 as advertised, the only good thing about the room was it was quiet.
The drink was terrible, beer, vodka, gin and raki, really a poor selection for all inclusive. The food was so bad you couldnt eat it. Chicken, chicken, chicken, turkey and did I mention chicken,we ate out all the time, so much for all inclusive.
Anyone going to Marmaris for a cheap holiday think again,it is very expensive there now and the Russians are taking the place over, Club Pineta is full of them.
The grass area behind the swimming pools is quite nice though apart from the booming music. The hotel is carpeted throughout every corridor and I think that is a big mistake as they are filthy and no matter how much you clean them they will always look dirty.
I saw children dropping crisps and drinks all over the carpets and just treading them in. Parents didnt seem to care and just let them run riot. I dont know why they were not at school !!!!!
Finally the last day we asked for a courtesy room and were given one in the main hotel block, well you have never seen anything like it, made our room look like a palace, if we had that room from the start I would have asked to be moved, air con held together with tape, wardrobe doors hanging off, a real dive of a room and I sympathise with anyone who had a week or two in there.
Take heed you have been warned !!!!

| said: The hotel was always clean with staff working so hard to keep it that way, all the staff were very friendly and saw to our every need from reception through chambermaids to the restaurant and entertainment crew. The food was as we expected from a hotel catering for so many and so frequently, great salads and soups especially and chips every afternoon at snack time no one could go hungry. We had two teenagers and two young children with us so the pools and kids facilities were a necessity, our teenageers loved the entertainment crew but I still refuse to play Bingo. Favourite thing to do have a turkish bath. Well done Pineta Club.

| said: OH
MY
GOD
Ilet'san start with the STAFF. They seem to be unhappy to be alive. Very unhelpful, VERY rude! when i went up to my room to take a shower i noticed there were no clean towels. I think the cleaner was some sort of a st*pid lady, who didn't put clean towels in our bathroom everyday. Somedays we had clean towels, some days we had to airdry. And dont think for a second you can go dont to the reception and complaint... Oh no they wont even LITSEN to you. Anyway.. Let's continue with the FOOD: totally gross, disgusting. no turkish food at all! is was rice, raw meat, pommes fries, boiled spagetti and lots of sallad. all this made me eat at burger king 4 times a week! the plates, glasses and everything was dirty in the restaurant, there were lipsticks on the coctail-glasses. i dont think they know the risks of diseases that can be passed on to the next person who drinks from the glass. also, there were tiny bugs in my bed. it took me an halfhour to make them change my bedsheets. i have so much more to say but im sleepy now. promise me you all not to go the pineta club hotel. pineta deluxe by the way is heaven! go there!!! it's the sister-hotel. a brand new, fresh! also the rest of marmaris was awesome, i love marmaris but hate pineta club hotel.
peace.

The grounds are great as are the pools.
ENTERTAINMENT Yeah right watching paint dry & mould grow in the shower was entertainment. what a let down. 4 star it is not. Even the rep said it should b a 2 star. Heard it had been shut down due to its poor food & hygiene standards..
NEVER go their you have been warned. lots of germans. food catered 4 them.stay clear of pineta club. MARMARIS great dont be put off. go their & enjoy. Book trips from beach front excursions. cheaper than rep & hotel. ENJOY REALLY.....

| said: The staff at the Pineta hotel were friendly especially the entertainers who done their jobs to the best of their ability. The hotel rooms were clean and kept that way with the daily maid service. The bathroom was clean with free dove shampoo and shower gel but the toilet brush looked as if it hadn't been replaced for months. There was a good variety of buffet style food but as we had a lot of german, french and belgian tourists they catered more for them. We ate out after 2 days and found Mcdonalds and also visited the 'SAMDAN' restaurant which was excellent. The hotel was very near to shops and about 5 min walk to beach although sun loungers on beach were only available if you stayed in the beach front hotels. Entertainment, what entertainment?? Our entertainment was 45mins during the day and half an hour at night for the kids. Although we had a kareoke on Sunday night. There was a wedding and 2 circumsisions which resulted in the garden bar being closed to guests from 7pm till 12.30am. I would go back to Marmaris but not to Pineta hotel.
Also the beer in the hotel was watered down. Also I watched a guy ask for a lager shandy and he got over 3/4 of lemonade and about an inch of lager, you could see he wasn't very happy.

| said: We arrived in the afternoon, checked in to the hotel no problem. We had to carry our cases through the hotel ourselves and find our room ourseleves.
The lift was very slow in coming and moving, always blacking out.
Our room was OK. At the end of the day, you just need somewhere to sleep and get washed. It was clean and cleaned everyday, with clean bedding and towels.
We loved the hotel and could not fault it until the Thursday when the Turkish Festival started and we were treated like scum!
The food was awful and the glasses, plastic cups, plates, knives and folks were never clean. Had slime in the cups too.
The staff in reception were very rude but could not fault the entertainment staff. They had alot to deal with as everything at the hotel was going from bad to worse. 10 out of 10 for keeping the guests sprits up.
I would never recommend this hotel even to a stray dog!
Also that I find digusting and highly distubing for a family resort was that everynight, a pimp with around 6-8 prostitutes would come into the hotel and wait for "clients" to take them up to the room. Not exceptable in any place.
There was a wedding taking place at the hotel and we were informed that the entertainment would have to be stopped for the wedding party and also drinks were limited.
The only nice thing about this hotel was the resort cat apart from the entertainment team, they were the only people/pets nice to us and didn't judge us.
Never book for this hotel it will be the worst holiday you would ever have. Be warned. Also heard alot of bad things regarding the Deluxe sister hotel!!!

We complained and had to wait until 2.pm for another room which was much better although by then we were very tired and in need of a shower.
We did not rate the food too highly but will say the salad is very tasty and plenty of it. We could not eat breakfast as it was not for us but you can’t please everyone. Try Oscars down the hill turn right. Amazing breakfast for 99p. The best you will find.
We would recommend the jeep safari great fun. This hotel very dangerous around the pool area. Many accidents including one of our parties.
Would visit marmaris again but not this hotel.

Rooms are cleaned everyday by the maids and they do a good job. The food is good but can be repetative especially after 2 weeks but that was expected. The location is very good with the market right outside the front of the hotel on thursdays. The hotel staff were excellent and very friendly and would do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. Had a great laugh with them although got the waiters told off a few times for talking to us. The entertainment was good but at night it was mainly for children. In the day the entertainers worked very hard and played lots of games and tried to get everyone involved without being pushy.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the pineta and this was my first time in Turkey and I will definetly be visiting marmaris again hopefully this year but if not then next year. Dont let some of these reviews put you off you will have a brill time!!!

| said: We stayed with my friends in Pineta club hotel for 1 week. When we arrived and entered the room, we were quite surprised how dirty it was..The bathroom was awful it was preety bad experience to touch the sink or the shower..
When we went downstairs for lunch it was so hot in the lobby and the restaurant...oh my god no air conditioner, imagine how you should eat in 50 degrees. . I am really thankful we had air conditioner in our room.
As a whole the hotel is really nice. It has really huge garden with the pools and the sun beds, palm trees and flowers.
There was big variety of food, but only if you have energy to eat in these 50 degrees.
It will be ok if you go to the restaurant 10 minutes before 19:00h, because otherwise you will have to wait for all 1200 people to pass by the food and go to the tables.
Please bring towels. The hotel towels smell awful, probably because of the humidity. Be aware to ask the cleaning ladies to change your towels everyday. We spent half a day waiting for them to give us towels because imagine “YOK” towels (no towels before 3pm).
The location of the hotel…It is not in the center. If you try to walk from the hotel to the Bar Street it will take you about one hour and a half. The best thing you can do is to catch the bus from the hotel.
We had real funny 7 days in this hotel, due to the reason we did not pay attention to the old furnished, dirty and not maintained rooms. Have fun

Had a shower and went to sun bath it was really hot.
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and it just gets better each time.
We have already booked up for next year and requested same 3 rooms.
Snack bar is a lot better than last year a lot more selection pizza garlic bread mash potatoe spagetti bol
Salads burgers lasanga etc etc
Breakfast consists off coco pops cornflakes sugarpuffs
Yoghurts, hard boiled eggs each day toast etc etc then one day it will be omelettes next fried eggs next scrambled eggs. Mushroom.
Never had lunch once as it was so hot to eat we used to get snack bar.
Evening meal was a lot off good choice always fish pizza chicken soup salads etc etc sweet trolley always some thing for every one always have fried onions tomatoes chilly's which were beautiful especially the fried onions.
Entertainment was good according to my teenage kids we didnt sit up stairs it was 37 deg on a night myself my hubby and my young grandaughter used to sit in the garden bar on a night it was a lot cooler.
Rooms had a double bed and single bed in a double wardroble and a single 2 bedside cabinets a dressing table a tv a fridge.
Bathroom was nice with shower and also free dove shampoo and shower gel.
Around the pool area its real slippy you need water shoes on all day adults and kids there is a indoor pool were my eldest grandson spent most off his time also a big pool were there play games all one depth.
There is also a baby pool and another big pool which is really deep.
There a hairdresser on complex a shop which is cheap and that is open 24 hrs a day.
Staff are really friendly and kind
We didnt do no trips this time due to it been to hot to even go out plus we have 2 little ones with us they dealt with the heat better than the 14 yr old
We did do the new waterpark which is a fantastic day out and food really cheap at the waterpark which surprised us.
So roll on 2008 when we return

The food was a bit repetetive ie chicken but always cooked in a variety of ways and very tasty, The salads and soup were also very good and the deserts were lovely.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, The drinks were limited gin, vodka, raki, beer(lager) and soft drinks but this was stated in the brochure so we knew what to expect.
The entertainments team were very good I dont know where they get their energy from.
Overall we had an excellent holiday, I would definately visit this hotel again.

| said: All inclusive...well, I don't think so unless you love chicken and meatballs for every meal washed down with salad, chips and more chips, you can only stomach so much!!! Potatoes were a breakfast treat, along with boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, omelette's and tomatoes, never bacon, only chopped up rubbery German sausage. We had mushrooms one morning and I was so excited I got a plate full only to find that they were cooked in so much pepper/chilli they blew my mouth off and I was sat next to the water fountain all day.
I love fruit and yog. on a morning but that only stretched as far as an orange, water melon or small plum type fruit. No variation at all.
On the positive side the rooms were cleaned daily with clean towels and bedding (although the sheets were wet a couple of days and we had to hang them on the balcony to dry.)
The entertainment staff were friendly enough, if you can call it entertainment, it was like stepping back in time to a holiday camp playing the birdie song, and aga do.
The pool area was nice, and the hotel itself for that matter if you just want to chill out and get drunk on an evening to obliterate the boredom.

The room was small, but we managed, and it was cleaned everyday, so no complaints. The staff were absolutely fantastic. I loved everyone of them, and the kids thought they were in heaven, so many nice people.
We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel as the excursions on the street, (not from the rep), are so cheap, and the shopping is to die for.
The pools were great especially the indoor one, for the kids. I had one 2 yr old and one 6 yr old. they always found something to eat.
The salads are amazing, we lived off them. The kids had chips now and again, but they loved the salads and cheeses so much.
It's not English food, but then why go abroad if that's what you want?
It did get busier before we left, and I can see why it may go downhill a bit when packed to full capacity.
The entertainment was outside our room every night, till midnight, so quite hard to get an early night, but my two year old still slept through it, and on the last three nights we just thought, can't beat them so join them!!
Anyone going on the Kardleens boat tour say hello to Eugi for me. From Tina!!

| said: Hotel club Pineta was the pits as far as the food was concerned.
Thought going all-inclusive was a great idea for a female travelling alone till I saw the food. I would not feed it to my dog, it was cold, the day time snacks were moved on trolleys to the pool bar salad on top covered, burgers etc underneath uncovered for flies to get to. On an evening food was luke warm, always chicken, salad came alomg with the insects!!! The curd soup whatever that was ended up with another name!!!!
Many families complained some were paid to eat out, the butter was over 2 years out of date but we were told thats ok cos its been frozen. I ate out during the day and lived on bags of crisps on an evening!! The drinks that were available were vodka, gin, beer and raki as well as soft drinks!!
Quite a lot came down with stomach bugs wonder why!!!!! A shame it could have been a great hotel, the location was near to the resort but far enough away to get a good nights sleep, entertainment left alot to be desired.
Must say though some staff were lovely.

| said: Having stayed at the Pineta Club Hotel in 2005 and had a fantastic holiday, it was an automatic choice this year - oh what a mistake!
After getting to our 4th room (the first was almost in the forest, well it was growing into the balcony and the air con fell off the wall, the second was so damp it was wet, the third had a wall from a new section of the hotel built in front of the balcony). This room was clean and was cleaned every day by the cleaners. The bathroom was clean on arrival and remained cleaned thanks to ourselves, as the cleaners never touched it apart from fresh towels. The balcony only got cleaned once, after I complained, and even then there was still another four days that I was on cleaning duties. Unfortunately there is not a section here to provide feedback on the rep at the hotel. We travelled with Regal Holidays, and we never saw our rep until we telephoned her on day 9 on her emergency number.
Food - consisted of chicken, chicken, chicken, well we were there fourteen days and I'm not typing chicken that often. There was also chips, pizza (the flavour of which never changed) Main meals when cooked were re-heated, and in the interim were not kept at a suitable holding temperature which caused food poisoning, for the duration of the holiday, even after were forced to eat out, despite being all inclusive. Yes, we should thank the hotel for catering for vegetarians, however, on chosing salads etc I could not help but think that it was a soup dish as the salads were floating in various oils and grease. Fortunately we got to know a well trained chef who has provided us with the evidence as to why most of the guests at the hotel had food poisoning.
Location is great, providing a nice walk into town and right next to the market!
General staff were rude, abusive and aggressive, with the exception of the management and supervisors within the reception who were friendly and helpful.
Entertainment was the best part of the hotel, the team did exceptionally well to keep you going and to have fun under the circumstances.

| said: This hotel said that this hotel was for families which we disagreed as there was a kids club but the 1 member of staff listened to music and on their mobile phone most of the time and never looked at the kids!
There was supposed to be an activity table of what entertainment was on all day but the entertainers was to busy involved with teenagers.
The food was disgusting with having a 1,8,9 and 11 yr old would you give grilled trout with its head on for yr kids? we went out everyday for food. You also had to pay for ice creams and lollies.
The hotel staff was helpful when you needed them. T he entertainment was diabolical if you wanted your kids to watch drag artists men showing parts of their bodys. The kids disco went on from 9pm_9.15pm.
The hotel grounds looked lovely apart from people slipping on the tiles which were all over there were lots of children that had fallen and ended up having stitches.
I will be visiting Marmaris again next year but not this hotel.

Room was diabolical, plugs hanging of walls, air conditioning sounded like old tractor, carpets ragged on stairs.
You had to fight with flies to see the food.
Rep was compulsive liar. Toilets, bins covered in faeces then where do the flies go?
My 5 year old daughter cut her foot on badly maintained pool tiles took staff 4 days to repair. I reported all these problems on a daily basis but nothing was ever resolved.
My niece who is only 2 contracted salmonella doesn't take rocket science to realise that the Pineta hotel need to take responsibility and seriously step up on health and safety issues otherwise close the doors.
I will never visit this hotel again and advise anybody thinking of booking please don't for your own safety
Oh the only thing that kept us sane was the friendliness of the entertainment staff

Our son opened the balcony door and the handle came off in his hand. When he went out on the balcony he slipped and hurt his back. I told reception next day they said they would fix it 2 days later not fixed.

| said: Having just got back from my holiday to Turkey I would like to say I had a great time! The hotel was huge, and with 3 pools as mentioned before. It comes across as a family-orientated resort, however it suited us well (two 18 year olds).
Our room was clean, only complaints here being the noisy, old air con which had to fiddled with occassionally to stop the buzzing noise. The room was cleaned everyday thoroughly. The view from our room was of another balcony, however did not really bother us as we spent most our time outside the hotel or in the pool during the day.
Hotel staff carried our bags to our room, however on checking out some staff members found it amusing watching us carrying our bags down the stairs!
We did not participate in any hotel entertainment, did not know there was any other than watching from a distance people doing a strange dance around the second outside pool to music? We was asked to take part in some bingo for jewellery but was too expensive.
We both really enjoyed the food here, and I am glad to say I did not get ill on this holiday! All meals were buffet style, the main contents being salad, bread, almost full fried breakfast, chips, curry, chicken, pasta, cake, battered fruit, melon....plenty of choice. Only complaint here was the over-crowding of the restaurant, had to share tables on numerous occassions.

| said: Having never been abroad before I was really looking forward to my first holiday abroad.
On arrival at the hotel we were ushered to the room only to discover that the room was filthy and the furniture in the room was falling to bits! We went straight down to reception to complain only to be told sorry there are no more rooms available it will be tomorrow before we can move you so needless to say we went back to the room and made do till morning. We went back down in the morning with our suitcases and were told once again there were no rooms. At no time did they even offer to clean our room for us it seemed that they couldn't understand English...
By Wednesday we were climbing the walls we went to our rep and he got us a room on the Wednesday afternoon...we hadn't been able to unpack till then we were only there for a week and half was ruined!!
As for the food it was diabolical the hotel catered more for foreigners than the Brits it was very basic for supposedly being a 4 star hotel.
The staff weren't interested in us when we complained and as for the pools yes there were 3 of them but you couldn't get near them unless you put a towel on a sunbed at 3am as everyone else had done! So needless to say I didn't enjoy the hotel one bit but it hasn't put me off going back to turkey just not to the Pineta club
Yours truthfully

Booked in at reception no problems read other reviews about communication difficulties ,but what you expect your in a foreign country they did there best and was always very helpfull and friendly to us,people who complain should learn turkish but cant be bothered only to criticise others.its all part of the fun well thats how we see it.
Hotel was really clean and staff where really friendly and helpfull, maids lovley, barstaff funny, entertainment team enthusiastic.
We didnt venture outside of hotel for the first week didnt need to everything you wanted was in the grounds and its a massive complex.shops cheap and got everything you need, thurdays market day and you litrally walk outside hotel in to market.
This was our second time in turkey we went last year self catering and spent a fortune, for what we paid we thought it was good value for money ideal location,if you go hungry its your own fault, wide range of foods yes plenty of salad, fruits, turkish pizza which wasnt bad,we tried all food some was nice and tasty others not so nice.its trial and error you try it cos u might like it and majority of it we did,you cant expect home cooked food like we do at home,if you do i advise you not to go know further than Skegvegas..
We met loads of people all friendly from all parts of england, turkey, russia, holland and we all communicated well and it was funny learning different words in other languages.dont put up boundries you will miss out on alot of interesting and lovely peolpe take people as you find em ...
It was great sitting in reception having been to bar before last orders and getting your 20 vodkas.and sitting we new people chillin chattin,i met loads of people majority of em loved it,were all individuals and you cant please everyone.Go with an open mind you will love it dont be put off..

| said: All geared up for a fantastic holiday, good job we took extra cash as we needed it for meals out. The food was very very basic and the choice was the worst I have seen in a hotel whilst using all inclusive for many years.
The puddings were to be avoided as too rich, (if you are a diabetic you would go hypo), no offer of ice cream as a substitute.
Tried to look at the sister hotel next door, Pineta Park, they refused us to look around was escourted to the balcony and told no further. Was totally disgusted with that attitude, maybe we were looking to book there next year (definately not now!).
It was OK their guests using our facilities and getting drinks and taking our sunbeds, but not for us to enter their establishment!
When leaving on a very late flight, 1.20am. No facitilities for having a drink of coffee or tea or slight snack were laid on, if we wanted one we were told it would cost us extra. Surely, the hotel knows that we were going to have a long journey ahead of us, it would have been a nice gesture on their behalf to provide something.
As to drinks whilst there. Having been all inclusive before (many times) we have never known a hotel not having a bigger selection of drinks available to us. If you do not like Vodka, Gin, Raki or Beer (which was disgusting 1%)go tea total.
When the Brits and other countries are paying for the holiday the country supplying the holiday, (whether different religions or not), should provide a selection of drinks for all europeans. The travel companies should know this and this would stop the complaints.
Entertainment, What Entertainment. It was all geared up for children. Evening adult entertainment was very poor. The animation team did well, but there is a necessity for bringing in, every evening, outside entertainment for people to stay in the hotel.
We will not be going there again.

| said: First of all I would like to thank the Hotel and its staff for such a wonderful holiday. Having never been to Turkey I didnt know what to expect but was very pleased as soon as I stepped foot into our hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 4 in the morning and already I could see what a fantastic time i was going to have.
It was huge not just a hotel but a mini resort its got everything you need to not have to leave it. There are three very well kept pools one which is indoor, two parks for the kids, a football pitch, a volley ball court and pool tables. We always found a sun lounger and there not all cramped together.
Like many other people I checked out the reviews before I went and I admit I was concerned at what i had let myself in for. But I would like to say that in my opinion the people who wrote bad reviews must holiday in Blackpool every year or might go as far as Benidorm.
The Food is available most of the day with a good variety of choice to accomodate the wide variety of people there. Yes there is no bacon and eggs for breakfast but your not in england. My family and I always found many different things to eat at meal times including my 3 year old brother. Remember your in a foreign country you have the oppurtunity to try different things. If you feed your kids just Burger and chips at home then their not going to want to try new things. Personally i was eating four courses a night. There are a wide range of salads and a couple of options on the hot counter which also caters for vegetarians.
As for the drinks we heard many people complain that you only get beer, vodka, gin, raki and wine. The beer is really nice and as for the vodka ok it may not be smirnoff and it may not taste great with coke or lemonade, but if you use your imagination and notice that they have different flavour syrups which you could add to your vodka. You could also go to the shop and buy cartons of pure orange juice or tomato juice and drink that with your vodka. For those of you who drink the Vodka mudshakes order a vodka with ice, ask the barstaff to add choclate syrup to it and just add milk from the self service coffee counter, there you have alcoholic milkshake very nice.
The rooms are a decent size everything you need is there for an all inclusive hotel. You've got a bed, shower, sink, toilet, tv, fridge oh and a hairdryer. The rooms are cleaned daily with clean towels and bedding. All of the staff are really freindly and helpful and are really good with kids.
Entertainment is good enough for families, remembering that they are entertaining people from many different countries. The entertainment staff run a free bus and free entrance to the local clubs on bar street every night for the adults who like to party. They stay with you in the club and are very friendly and when the time is up they take you back to the hotel on the coach. Look out for Gino quality bloke, have you laughing through out your holiday. Keep up the good work Gino. To finish off I would recommend this hotel great value for money and I will definitley be going back.

Three lovely pools but were very cold due to the time of year. 9 year old son really enjoyed himself with the entertainers who were very friendly and pleasant they work very hard trying to keep you entertained and happy.
Food was salad salad and more salad but we do however love salad. The choice was not plentiful and or look appealing but was ok once you tried it we never went hungry and our son always found something to eat.the night time entertainment was not very good so you couldnt help laughing at it.
All in all we would visit the pineta and feel the money we paid for the holiday was reflected in the food choice. This is actually a nice hotel in a beautiful setting and we all had a great time .

| said: We stayed all-inclusive and were worried about the reports of the food being bad but the rep told us the menu had been changed recently and the food was not that bad. No one went hungry but the kids menu could be improved a lot.
The rooms were cleaned every day and were spotless no complaints about cleanliness.
You did not have to walk far to reach the beach or shops well what there was of a beach.
The hotel staff were great they would do anything to help the bar staff were always helpful and polite.
The entertainment left a lot to be desired to be honest it was rubbish and as my kids put it the kids club was "boring" they did not seem interested in the kids they were just doing there job.
We would probably return here as long as the food was slightly improved.
By the way be careful walking anywhere around the 3 pools as it is very slippery as I found out when I fell 2 hours after the welcome meeting as did others and it cost 200 pound at the hospital which the wife was not pleased about so be careful.

| said: This is possibly the worst holiday ever bar none.
First day a bag with a phone and £400 stolen from beside us Sunset rep was hellish told us not to report it to police so we couldn't claim on insurance so beware of rep!
Food was vile, revolting. Kids selection was even worse on the 1st day we thought it wasn't too bad by 3rd day I would rather have ate my own arm. Salad morning noon and night hot choice vile and basic donner meat.
On Sat night was worse than back home some nights you could hardly get a seat unless you spoke German then you got one straight away.
For an Al inclusive holiday you are being ripped off half stuff in brochure that said free you need to pay for.
Pools are clean but watch young children as the baby pool is next to main pool and it's very deep and there are no life guards but plenty of people round the pool wearing speedos that would fish your child out!
On the sunbed matter this will never be resolved unless you want to slip the staff 8 euros everyday to reserve one for you I declined and just threw towels off that had not been sat on for an hour as they most likely belonged to the invaders.
Round the pool everyday you have the entertainment team. By the third day I could have joyfully committed murder Same stuff everyday and a DJ that needs a music lesson watch or the German song that has them all up dancing hilarious. By the time we came home we were brainwashed with it as its on at least 7 times a day.
If you are looking for entertainment in the hotel forget it children's disco at 9 same songs same times all week someone needs to break the CD.
Overall wouldn't return to this place if it was free had looked forward to it for a year it is clean but that's the only good thing.
Our room faced the mosque so half five wake up call every morning and the noise of buses every night with a fresh lot of mugs if we hadn't met Alex Kelly Kelly and Rob our holiday would have been doomed.
The bar staff were miserable, the guys in the shop are lovely so is the hairdresser and chamber maids too.
One thing you need to try is the Turkish bath it costs a tenner but it was the best thing of the holiday.
My advice is go with an open mind we did and still were sorely disappointed but other people may think different.

type, with honey was ideal for us. I did not even look at the hot breakfast.
Lunch time I would have soup and salad, for dinner soup and pasta or cheese salad. I even stayed away from the sweet section, which looked exellent.
Location of hotel very satisfactory. Staff friendly, helpful. Did not see any entertainment.
We would visit this hotel again, but would take our own sunbeds. A word of advice, dont go near restaurant doors
at 7p.m. i'ts just like a cavalry charge.
There is a small clinic on site,it seemed to deal with an unusual number of people, young and old alike, for falls.

| said: Having just returned from this hotel, I have to agree with most of the opinions already given. We even heard on arrival a German girl tried to commit suicide, which was a good start!! Fortunately, other than a couple of commotions we heard about the holiday was relaxed and peaceful.
The food is really as awful as has been mentioned beforehand, it doesn't cater for anyone of the nationalities that do go there (mainly English, German, Dutch and Swedes amongst some) and it came to a point that we ate out more than in the hotel which isn't the point of all-inclusive. Although I do agree that we're in a Muslim country and their own food should be provided, the fact that people from countries that are booking should also have their own food choices as well.
The entertainment team were very friendly and didn't hassle you to take part in activities, the actual entertainment was poor to say the least.
In terms of cleanliness, you couldn't fault the staff - the rooms were done daily as well as everywhere else been cleaned very regularly. The staff in general were very helpful and happy to speak and have a laugh, except for the occasional person. But it would be wrong not to give full marks to them.
As for the location, it is very close to the beach with several shops & bars around but was quiet to the rest of the resort. The main busier areas were further in the town but easy reach by dolmus which come very regularly. Marmaris and the bay are beautiful and we will be coming back there (or Icmeler which is cheaper and stunning)...but not the hotel.

The size was ok but not pleased with the bathroom. really small and the drain was blocked ion the shower so we were limited to for time to shower in as there was three in one room. This got fixed after 4 days!!
Hotel couldn’t have been in better place. is was right near the market on Thursday and 2 mins away from the water park. The only problem which wasn’t for me, was the busy main road. Being with my younger 14 year old brother who wanted to explore with his new found friends!
We didn’t really enjoy the food as it I didn’t find much English choice. I think it was more catered for the Germans. However, there was plenty of places to eat on and not to expensive.
Hotel staffs were great. On our 3rd night we came home to find blood all over the place. A couple had got really drunk and ended up fighting. He put a window through with his hand. Everybody was irate and panicking. No one was English and we were the only ones able to help. The girlfriend was having a panic attack and he was losing lots of blood and passing out. Nobody had even called emergency services! We took the couple to hospital and calmed other guests down. Hotel staff didn’t know what to do. After a long night up in the hospital with this young couple, we got back to the hotel and received no thanks; kiss my ass, or nothing of any kind. Not well gestured!
Don’t think the hotel did any entertainment and if they did it wasn’t well advertised.
All in the entire hotel was ok and I would consider going back there but I don’t seem to spend much time in my hotel when I visit Turkey anyway!

Over my 2 weeks stay I ate 2 breakfasts and 3 dinners. They do have a kids menu, however, that was even more disgusting.
If you have children I advise you not to visit this hotel. The hotel was fairly clean although my air conditioning dripped water all night.
The location of the hotel is good though. Over my 2 weeks stay I never saw any nightime entertainment. This is because the entertainment place was not big enough.
If you wanted to watch the entertainment you had to go without tea as you had to reserve seats.(Not that you wanted tea though because as I said it was disgusting).
I would definitely never visit this hotel again.

This Hotel is suitable for all ages. Everynight from this hotel along with entertainers, they run a coach from 11 pm for the more energetic to dance night away till 4am, clubs are free to get in but drinks are expensive.
Found food to be very limited, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for as this is one of the cheaper all inclusives.
Plenty of sunbeds with cushions to lay on you dont even get that in 4* hotels.
You have to pay for ice-cream but whose complaining it is the best ice-cream Cart d'or at only 1 lira.
This hotel had 3 massive pools, can be slippery when tiles are wet.
Maid service was excellent, hotel staff work really hard and are pleaseant.
I must say made lots of friends and found there to be alot more English in August. When reading other reports about this hotel I was dreading coming, but in my opinion if you have a bad experience you will slate hotel off no matter what.

You have to be realistic when going on holiday to a Muslim country you are not going to get British food, the food was ok for my husband & myself probably the worst affected were the kids the selection for them was very poor.
The all-inclusive options is not the best breakfast 7 - 10, drinks start at 10 till 12 midnight, lunch 12 - 1.30, snacks 2 - 4, cakes 5 - 5.30, dinner 7 - 9. Ice cream is not included in all inclusive and was never served in the dining room.
Rooms were basic but very clean - maids were fantastic, but try to get in C block newer building newer air con !!
Main building air con was never on in public areas even though temp in the 50's made it very uncomfortable in dining room, but plenty of seating outside.
Entertainment team work hard but very repetitive, geared to kids at night.
Staff were all very friendly again work very long hours
All in all had a good holiday, just go with an open mind & remember you are not in Britain !!!

There were not enough sun loungers around the pool, you where not able to get beds regardless of what time you got up.
This hotel would be alot better if it was self catering. We would definetly not visit this hotel again.

| said: When we read the reviews on this hotel before we went on holiday, we didn't know what to expect. But to be perfectly fair this is not a bad hotel and my family didn't have a bad holiday.
The rooms are BASIC and the air conditioning in some of the rooms requires that you insert the key fob into the wall before it will switch on, this is a bit of a problem if the temp outside is around 50 degrees as it takes ages for the room to cool down. The storage in the room was a bit on the poor side but we can quite happily live from our cases.
The food, well where do I begin? If you like salad you will be in heaven. I normally don't eat salads but tried a few and thoroughly enjoyed them but the hot buffet was totally something else. If you like turkey, chicken or meatballs you will hate the sight of them by the time you come home, but the roast beef and grilled steak were fantastic. Now we get to the deserts, with these I went nuts they were great I had two or three of everything.
Every night in any hotel you have the standard strange if not repetitive entertainment selection but this place is something else again. The guy who gets the kids up for the mini disco is like a combination of the guy from triple x and and some kind of mafia hit man, but was brilliant with the kids and was always on the go. COLA fanta SPRITE these words still give me nightmares but I won't tell you why becaise you really have to live through it to know why.
The adults entertainment was a bit hit and miss but the bar does NOT always close when the acts are on each evening this only happened once when we were there.
Drinks selection in the all inclusive is a serious let down, Tuborg beer, red and white wine, vodka, gin and raki along with the usual soft drinks selection.
The pool area is always being kept clean as is the entire hotel but if you want a sunbed by the pool then take an alarm clock with you becaise the beds are usually all gone by 7 o clock.
All I can say is this, if you have booked up for this hotel go with an open mind, and don't take all of the reviews to heart as some of them were a little extreme to say the least.

| said: Just returned from the Pineta Club Hotel. The hotel was a little dated and did not have any air conditioning switched on throughout the main reception, corridor or restaurant areas even though air con units were avaialable. The room was not wonderful and the air conditioning in our room was so loud we couldn't sleep with the noise at night. We reported this to the rep and hotel. They sent an engineer who said it was old and nothing he could do!The rep told us that we were in the older part of the building and there were no other rooms available in the newer part as the hotel was full. Evening temperatures were usually above 32 degrees which made sleeping in the room impossible !
The pool area however is fantastic. Three great pools and well kept gardens. Towels were put out on the beds before 8am but we never had a problem getting a bed during the weeks stay. Entertainment was aimed for the young but didn't bother us at all. We ate out most evenings as the food is really bad here. We are not fussy eaters but it was disgusting ! Because the air con in the Restaurant was switched off and all of the windows open, you literally had to fight the flies from the salad bar! The cooked delights offered were terrible and were repeated every three days.My son and i were ill for three days and had to get tablets from the pharmacist. We did not manage to get a table in the outdoor entertainment area yet ! Most families secured the tables before 730pm. The entertainment was all inhouse and same thing every night. It's true about the bar closing during the etnertainment, they even stopped people with drinks from the other bars from entering during 9 - 11.10 pm.
All in all it was not one of our best holidays... We did enjoy the resort and met some wonderful people. Mainly Kevin and Blade from the Samdan bar near to the hotel. They gave us a very warm welcome. If you are going here soon, my advice to you would be to take extra money to eat out a few nights (Marina have best resturants) and take a Turkish bath and massage package in the first few days from the hotel's beauty spa. It was great and helped us get a fantastic tan !
Oh !! and take plenty of Immodium !!!

| said: This hotel was very clean although fairly basic, there is on site shop, doctors(very expensive), jewellers, hairdressers and turkish bath.
Its not far from the beach and seafront resturants approx 10 min walk. market right outside the hotel once a week where you can bag some really good bargains.
Rooms are bright but basic although kept spotlessly clean.
We found most staff friendly however found some of the reception staff very unhelpful, after 11 hours tavelling we were kept waiting 4 hours for our rooms.
Entertainment was frequent but basic. Therefore we used to go out most evening partically to Blackpool and Salem bar along the beach front.
Food was typically Turkish therefore we often ate out would recommend emporium across the road, although it was always fresh and plenty to go around.
Swimming pools were big but you have to be up at 6am to get a sumbed. Hotel caters for most nationalities British, Dutch, German, Swedish, Turkish to mention a few. However most staff speak english.

This Hotel is lovely and clean staff are very helpful nothing to much trouble.
Maids come in everyday clean sheets and towels.
Food was not very good didnt no what we was eating most of the time.
Pools were very clean all three of them.
Enterainment team (okie iso H farik) these are the best of the bunch lovely boys work very hard.
There is a market right out side the Hotel every Thursday and very very cheap.
Its a short walk to the sea front where there is hundreds of bars and plenty of water sports to choose from.
You must pay a vist to the main shops in Marmaris they are so cheap and they sell everything and they are all friendly and they dont get cross if you dont want to go in there shop.
Gold and leather here is very cheap so leave some room in your case.
Cant wait to go back next year booking it NOW !!!!!

| said: I must say I can not believe it, when I read the most of the comments on Pineta Club Hotel. What do people from England expect, when they are travelling abroad ? Egg, beans and bacon ? If you do so, then please stay in England. Then it will only be cheaper for the rest of us.
When travelling abroad one of the greatest moments is to taste the kitchen in the country you visit. The food at Pineta Club Hotel is Turkish and excellent !!
I will not give "5 suns" for the entertainment, because I did not see it. But I could hear it, and the people there, seemed to be entertained well.
The location was about 4 km from the Bazaar, but the beach on 3-400 meters away.
Sorry for my English.

| said: On arrival seemed very nice. Lovely surroundings and gorgeous views pool and bars excellent.
Lots of games and kids clubs activities for the kids.
As soon as we arrived, we had a bed short, so one of the porters brought a bed into the room, crashing it down onto my prescription spectacles! We was stunned and asked if he could bring the manager, he shrugged his shoulders as if it wasn't a problem and left the room!!! Reception was just to busy to deal with the problem and the rep was useless so we sorted the problem on our return back home! Good job I had also taken contact lenses!
Hotel food was horrendous! reheated meals were from the day before so please be careful, I ended up in hospital for 3 days really sick due to food poisoning!
Lots of Germans and not much English people at this hotel, overall we all felt that this hotel only catered for the Germans and Dutch. Ignorance as usual queueing for meals and sunbeds were a problem, you have to be up before sunrise to get a sunbed!!!
Entertainment was disgusting for the kids two gays were playing with each others genitalia pretending to play a guitar! and you couldn't take your drinks into the stage area while the show was on!
I know it sounds like I love to complain but we go to Turkey quite regular and this has got to be the worst ever place we have stayed in!

The food was absolutely disgusting and unedible! The staff at reception were unhelpful. The entertainment staff tried their best but their wasn't much they could do to entertain you.
We got kicked out of the pool area at 5pm although the pool didn't close until 7pm, for a Turkish wedding which we were told was in the brochure, and suprise suprise its not!
We would not go back to the hotel Pineta and would advise people to stay clear!
