| said: We stayed for 3 nights at the Edward hotel and realy enjoyed it. The hotel was in a great location just around the corner from Paddington station or the bus stop. The hotel room was small but adequate very clean and nice and warm the central heating radiator was on constantly but you could lower it yourself which was great as it was bitterly cold when we where there. The bathroom was a good size there was complimentary soap, shower jel and shampoo which the maids replaced every day. There is a kettle with complimentary tea, coffee, milk and sugar again replenished every day.
Breakfast was a continental one it was layed out like a buffee and you helped yourself to as much as you wanted, and there was a good choice. If you wanted an English cooked breakfast it was £2.50 extra, but toast was supplied free with continental breakfast.
My husband had booked the hotel as a suprise birthday present and I can honestly say it was one of the best presents I have ever had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definatly stay at this hotel again if visiting Londan

| said: This was terrible - I had booked a twin room and got a family room that was at very top of the building. The decor was grotty, the toilet was like something out of a caravan stuck into the room and there was a large gap in the window where there as a freezing cold draught coming in, and very noisy as next to the train line.
I complained and was told nothing could be done on that day, but they would put a towel in the window to stop the draught. I was not happy with this and requested a refund and moved to another hotel - Would not recommend.

| said: This hotel is basic and a little musty, the rooms need painting and new carpets, and the satellite TV doesn't include anything interesting unless you're Greek. However, it is very central, very cheap, the continental breakfast is fine and the rooms were properly cleaned every day. It isn't luxurious but the staff were not unfriendly, the pictures on the web are exactly what you will get, and it certainly wasn't horrible. We had a nice time.

| said: A horrible hotel. My wife and I tried it based upon hotels.com recommendation. The actual hotel is nothing like the pics on the hotels.com website.
Additionally, although the hotel convinced us we would receive a refund, hotels.com would not do it. I will never use them again and I would suggest anyone considering the Edward Hotel to stay away.
