| said: We have been to this hotel on numerous occassions
and we are sorry it has now closed. It wasnt posh, or
upmarket, but as people say, you only get what you pay for. We always went all inclusive, as the price was still worth it, even if we ate out quite a lot. What we paid you couldn't get a decent "weekend" in Blackpool for. So once again sorry to see its closed/

| said: We have been to the Bel Sol 4 times 3 of them for 3 weeks at at a time. We love it.
The food is basic but very good and a good choice.
The rooms are cleaned quite well clean towels every day.
The staff are wonderful.
If anyone does not like this hotel I suggest they pay for 5 star and go to a hotel that offers that. You get what you pay for and we are more than happy we have took several friends with us over the years and not one has complained.
It's in an ideal place for Buggiba front the bus station everywhere.
The entertainments not fantastic but if you do not like it i suggest go out and down the road there's plenty to do and see in Bugibba.

| said: I have just got back from the Bel Sol Hell Hole as we called it.
The whole place was in serious need of a clean. The room was apparently cleaned daily but never looked that way!
The swimming pools - one being only 4 foot deep and you could not see your own knees as the water was so murky.
We also managed to write clean me in the dirt around the edges. The whole place looked like a large version of "del boys" flat with the decor.
The food was awful and the same things daily.
We did eat out in Buggiba every night which was lovely, the town is lovely.
The entertainment was hilarious Tony and his keyboard on wednesdays and Jesmond and his keyboard on Mondays. It was really funny but I dont think it was quite ment to be funny!
I would visit Malta again as the place is lovely but never to the Bel Sol, in my opinion the whole place needs knocking down. (Some of it is already crumbling the wall of our balcony and the wall of the outside seating area!) I think its dangerous.
I have posted this review to try and save people from the Bel Sol Hell Hole.

| said: Bel Sol One word ... Fantastic!! I have been back 6 times. We know all the staff on first name terms they are so friendly. You could not wish for nicer people!
The food has definitely got better over the years.
The entertainment could be better some nights. After Ernest left with his guitar there were not as many good acts he was a hard act to follow!!
I'ts not in a fantastic area but really were on holiday are you really looking at the [pavements and rubbish?] that's just a tiny part of it the rubbish does not make the holiday!!
I would go back there in an instant no questions asked!!
Night life is not fantastic but that's why you have Paceville!!
Thank you to All members of Bel Sol staff (Especially Mary) for making my holidays so special!!!!

| said: Small hotel, but really pleasant, with wonderful staff, always ready with a smile and nothing was too much for them. Very clean but one down side is where the pool in situated. Does'nt get hardly any sun on it but you do have a small jaguzzi on roof with sunbeds.
Not far from main strip wher you'll find bars, restaurants etc. Food was delicious, not much choice but couldn't fault it with it being all feshly cooked, nothing warmed up. Rooms where nice and clean. All in all good value for money. Will be going again.

| said: Just returned from a very enjoyable break at Bel Sol.Not the most modern of hotels, but a very high standard of cleanliness and the staff, paticulary in the dining room and kitchen were brilliant. We gave 10 out of 10 for the meals, with a meat, fish, veggie choice daily. We were also pleased to have an ironing board provided, which made a change from trying to iron on a tv table. Not much choice on TV,only BBC World in our lingo, but you dont go to Malta to watch the tele.Entertainment not great, but you dont have far to walk for the nightlife.Would have no hesitation in recommending the Bel Sol.

| said: The Bel Sol is in much need of refurbishment with very outdated decor. The all inclusive package is a joke with very limited choice either meat or fish, so we ate out more. The bar is not much better with ham and cheese rolls and chips, I don't think the management of Maltese Hotels have got the grasp of all inclusive.
The hotel is well situated at the resort but to be honest their is not really much to do in Buggiba.
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, as are all the Maltese people.
The entertainment was very poor with Tony on the organ and another guy playing Country and Western.

| said: Cheap Blackpool Hotel was the first thing that came top our minds the first morning we arrived as we went into the bowels of the hotel for our first breakfast of teeth breaking bacon.
Even though it does need some new decor, it was very clean (apart from the bath!)
Most of the staff were very friendly. Although if you are staying here please remember to put your do not disturb sign on your door as we had a few hairy moments with the house keeping not knocking and expecting us to leave there and then! By the way I forgot to say that this was our honeymoon!
The food in Malta is so cheap that we went out nearly every night and found some where to eat (you have to visit MacDonald’s, the view is spectacular!)You can eat out quite well for a three course meal for two people for around £10.
If we were to come again I wouldn't be disappointed in staying in the Belsol but I would go room only.
Oh and just one thing the toast is well hidden!!!!!!!

| said: I stayed in this hotel with my Mum, Dad, Sister, Cousin and Husband. Every single one of us had an absolutely amazing holiday. The youngest being 15, the eldest 63 and there were things for the whole family to do. We are going back for our fourth year in a row in April, to the same hotel.
The staff are absolutley fantastic, they are so friendly and helpful. The hotel as a whole is a bit basic but the rooms are ideal and the location is close enough to the night life without the thump, thump of it!!!
Entertainment is fun, Ernest is amazing and also very friendly.
The pools are not large but they are swimable!! Who goes on holiday to spend the whole of their break in a hotel pool anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How boring!

| said: Very very quiet & relaxing, accomadtion basic but ok,
Food choice limited but ok, stil learning about ALL Inclusive, Staff very friendly, Entertainment not good except for Ernest (thinks he's Elton John) "A cheap basic hotel, you get what u pay for" Pools leave a bit to be desired. Enjoyed our stay would return at a later date.
If you expect to find things as they are at home, then you should stay at home.

| said: Hi. Ended up here after JMC had messed myself and my friend around twice before leaving. We were allocated on arrival and had paid twice what most of the JMC guests had paid. i.e. they sent us on a late deal although we had booked months in advance.
SAGA holidays have a large proportiuon of guests there. Hence, not much use for a pool (they are very small and not very pretty) and two twenty-two year old girls didn't fit in. Otherwise the staff are friendly and the rooms cleaned everyday.
Overall, good for unadventurous grannies.
