| said: Cavtat Hotel is a very pleasant, centrally located hotel. The bedroom was a bit on the small size, but the bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned every day and there was a lovely sea view. I think people thinking of staying here would be advised to pay a bit extra and ask for a sea view as the rooms on the other side of the hotel seem dark and only look out onto trees or other bedrooms.
One thing which did annoy us was the fact that you need to get the lift to the 5th floor to return the key to the reception area. Guests are advised not to use the main entrance (where reception is) as it is located on a busy road.
The ground floor is dining room level and sea level. You leave the hotel via the outside dining area and the promenade is only five minutes walk away.
Food was generally good but the main course each evening left a lot to be desired! Very boring.
