| said: It is obvious that this hotel is counting down to its closure. It was advertisied as having both buffet and a la carte restuarants, only the buffet rest. was open and the menu for each night was not posted until the rest. opened at 6.30pm. Generally we found the staff to be pleasant. It seemed that their idea of room service was going to the restuarant and collecting your meal and taking it back to your room! The pools were wonderful and very clean. There were times it was difficult to get a lounger but that certainly didn't bother us. The apartment we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Towels changed daily, sheets changed every other day. Because of its location it is very difficult to go anywhere on foot - a car is necessary or if brave/adventurous go by bus.

| said: Our apartment was reasonable, but the bedroom floor and rug was messy and the bathroom had blood on the walls and the toilet pan was dirty with faeces
flies were everywhere in the village and this was not helped by the poor hygeine in the restaurants
food was appalling - soft drinks, wine and beer were the only choice on the all inclusive deal - we paid £70 per day to be all inclusive - but we disliked the food and service so much that we dined out most of the time
staff on the whole were pleasant, but one bar manager could be very rude and moody at times
entertainment was poor and there was nowhere to sit outside in the evenings
the brochure rated the resort as 4 star quality - I would only give it one star and suggest you only book for self catering
the complex has been sold and this could explain why standards have fallen

| said: We stayed in the corinthis mistra village this year and expected it to be the same standard as the corinthia marina, which we stayed in 2years ago, however we were shocked at the overall standard of accomodation. There were several major faults which included front door half an inch shorter than door frame, door split in two panels which was held together with sellotape, loose socket in the living area, pendant light held up with tape, faulty kettle cabling, extremely grubby toilet.
The location of the complex means that a car is a necessity, there is only a few bars and resturants nearby, located next to an extremely busy main road. Walk down it at your own risk!
On the positive side the children's club was excellent(5*), pool was fantastic, food was beautiful, service however was poor, possibly due to under staffed and possibly inexperienced.
On a whole this complex could be excellent if they maintained the four star standard which customers expect, however this will not be achieved as the site has been sold and will be demolished in 2005.
