I was there in 2003 & 2004 THIS HOTEL IS PARADISE ON EARTH!!!!
It's only a 2* hotel, but the family of the ownerin has a champagne house and some of this money is spent in the hotel-interieur.
The food is excellent. The wine and champagne card is 50 pages!! And then every Saturday evening Dinner-dancing.
We start with a free glass of champagne, then there is a Entrée(starter)-buffet with the best food on earth. After this they clean the buffet and you can dance. Then they install the main buffet. With food you never can dream it. After this they clean it and people are dancing again. Then comes the Dessert-buffet.(Open your belt 2 holes) The best cakes and fruit on earth. After this all, you can dance till 01,30h/02h. What a paradise.
On the long street there are proq.20 champagne makers where you can buy the bottle. 50 yards from the hotel you pay a millesime (from a good year) for € 13 a botle. In Epernay you can visit champagne cellars in the Avenue de Champagne.
Fantastic tunnels. Go by car. Motorway Calais-Lille- Reims-Epernay.Prox.300Km (200 miles)when you arrive at Epernay follow the plate "Sezanne". Or by a guided tour. If you like to be in Paradise once in your life, then go to Hotel Champenoise in Epernay-Moussy and visit the cellars.
