I don't know how they managed that trick. They also put flowers/petals on our bed in different designs each day and in the girls rooms they made swans out of their bath towels! (Sort of origami, but with towels).
The Hotel was spotless, not a leaf out of place.
I would defy the fussiest eater not to have found something to eat at mealtimes. (Self service with hot and cold dishes, vegetables, savouries, the list goes on....you name it, it was there). There seemed to be a dish to satisfy every nationality. Omelettes were cooked to order and were mouth watering.
The location was right on the beach. The beach gently shelves into the water and is very shallow for some considerable distance into the sea, which is ideal for the children, its also good for adult swimmers who like to be able to touch the sand once finished swimming.
To the left of the resort was a large jetty with several boats offering glass bottom voyages. It worked out to be about £3 for adults and £2 each for the children.
The staff were brilliant and were soon waving and saying hello to all of us - really making us feel at home.
The entertainment provided at night was typical Egyptian/Arabic. Dancers swirling what can only be described as a circular rug. Belly dancers, traditional instrument playing, singing traditional songs etc etc. All very good, even the children sat and watched.
Although there was a childrens club on site, which again was well run, the swimming pool was so lovely and inviting, the children spent most of their time in it.
We would definately visit this hotel again - our one regret was that we only stayed for one week!!
