| said: Well! You certainly will not be disapointed with this hotel. The standards are just brilliant.Your room is cleaned twice a day including a turn down service at night with 2 bottles of free water supplied.
The rooms are very spacious and well kept. The towels are changed daily.
The breakfast is lovely with loads of choice that changes on a daily basis. You will not go hungry whilst staying here! To eat in the hotel is very expensive, on average it will cost £70 for 2 for an evening meal, £100 for a bottle of wine!
The location is just brilliant. We paid extra for a sea view. It was well worth the money. The hotel is spread out over a large area where as you have a good walk to your room, pool, beach etc, this is often up steps and ramps. Would not recommend this hotel for the disabled or the infirm.
The grounds and the gardens are absolutly immaculate, you will not see any rubbish around. The staff are constantly cleaning and ensuring this hotel lives up to the standard expected. The hotel staff are just brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for them. You will even find that after your first day at the pool your sunbed will be saved for you by the pool guy. We tipped him on the second day. There is never really a need to save a sunbed as there are so many of them. Entertainment is low key, but that's why we went there. It is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in but pleased we never took our 17 year old as she would have been bored! If we were to return to Naama we would definatly stay at the Ritz Charlton!

We have travelled to many 5 star hotels around the world ie the Burg Al Arab in Dubai, and we felt all standards were excellent at this hotel.
The staff were polite and friendly.

| said: Have just arrived back from a fantastic week at the Ritz-Carlton. The hotel is beautifully set out with all accommodation spread out around the extensive grounds. The staff were so pleased to help you and the service was excellent.
The food was really good, but very expensive. All our meals were over £100.00 per night for a family of four without drinks. Drinks were also very expensive, but having read previous reviews we were expecting that and budgeted accordingly.
The weather was really lovely and hot with a gentle breeze blowing off the sea most days.
There is very little to do in the evenings, so the resort is nice and peaceful. Most people ate their evening meal and were tucked up in bed by 9.30pm, regardless of how old or young their children were!

| said: The Ritz Carlton is certainly a luxury hotel but i am not sure it is upto five star standard. The room was very nice and cleanliness was excellent.
However we paid extra for a seaview room and would have been better not bothering as our next room neighbours didn't pay at all extra and had the same view.
Food and drink in the hotel was extremely expensive(about £10 for 2 beers once tax etc added.)The restaurants looked nice but to be honest why pay £70 plus for dinner when you can get an equally nice meal in Naama bay for about half the cost plus drinks.
Pools were lovely and the reef was very good. Wouldn't say no to staying again but wouldn't necessarily be my first choice.

The Hotel is out this world super, one of the best I have ever stayed in and I travel the world as part of my work.
Nothing was too much trouble the staff are first class.
The food is good but be prepared to try something different. Drinks were very expensive.
Entertainment not too much off, but nice if you want that relaxing holiday.

| said: Very clean and tidy hotel, staff are very helpful and polite, buffet meals had lots of choice, but must say food could do with being hotter.
Found the drinks not as expensive as mentioned(local wine in hotel £17.00 a bottle)bit of confusion with sun beds, staff put hotel towels on all beds, so not sure which are "claimed",weather was very hot as of March 05.

| said: This is simply one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
From the moment you arrive you feel very welcome. As mentioned before, the check in is very easy, and you are taken to your room by golf car.
The rooms are very large with two double beds, and with a stunning flower decorated patio.
The area is enormous so you will never feel that is gets crowded, the hotel was 98% full when we were there, but even the pool areas wasn’t packed. I have only one complaint, and that is, that there isn’t enough sun beds.
The food is very good, the buffet for breakfast has so many items, that I didn’t even got around to trying any of the approx. 15 different kinds of bread.
They had everything you could ask for.
If you want music and dancing, this is not the place for you. A very gifted pianist provides the entertainment.
The pool areas are amazing, and very large, and the staff are super friendly towards children. The Ritz Kids Club provides good entertainment for the little ones.
It would have been a nice touch if the pools by the lazy river were heated, but if you wanted a heated pool, you could go to the mail pool area.
The location is great if you are there to relax and scuba dive. The snorkling and diving on the hotel reef was out of this world.
This is truly luxury beyond expectations, and the staffs were first class in everyway.
We are definitely going back.

| said: This hotel is stunning on arrival we were greeted with a Bedouin band and a courtesy drink and hot flannel.
Check in was very simple all you had to do was fill out a small form and wait for your room cards. Our cases were brought to our room for us and the room was lovely only downside was that we had no hot water when we arrived but a quick call to reception and we had an engineer in minutes who fixed the problem very quickly.
I had high expectations of the food from previous reports on here and was not disappointed especially with the Lebanese restaurant (well worth a visit) my only negative is that the food was expensive. Don’t expect to get away with less than a seventy pound bill for 2 which isn’t diabolical but we did eat at the hard rock cafe in Naama bay which with a lot of drinks and a 3 course meal came to £35.
Drinks were also very expensive you will pay about £1.50 for a coke £2 for a bottle of water about £4 for a bottle of Sakara beer which I would recommend and over £12 per glass of wine spirits are also expensive
Do not take this as a negative the service is unbelievable and there is always someone at your beck and call and Naama bay is only a short taxi ride away if you fancy a change.
This was a top quality hotel the pools were lovely although the lazy river could do with a tidy, the beach is not really much of a beach but they have made a great job of getting the best out of what theve got you will find plenty of coves and sun loungers.
The sea was fantastic lovely and warm (warmer than the swimming pools) but you have to walk along a pontoon to get into the sea which was quite amusing especially as the waves were making it bob up and down
I wouldn’t recommend one of the trips run from the hotel, I was unable to scuba dive and we had seen an advertisement for a submarine that did tours with glass sides so you could see underwater. (Approx £30 each).
when we arrived we realised that this was a strange looking boat that didn’t go under water but you were taken into the hull which was made to look like the inside of a submarine although I enjoyed the abundance of fish swimming inches away and the impressive coral formations I thought this was very misleading and for 40mins a little expensive
I would recommend the hotel to anyone but be prepared to spend some money.
Naama bay is fairly lively for those looking for a night life as well but beware you will be accosted by every merchant that you pass on the street and don’t be fooled into the "I just want to give you my business card" line as we did cos once your in there shops they make it very hard to leave without buying something.
Hard Rock Cafe was as expected good food great entertainment and plentiful drinks it is also very good value and you will be hard pushed to spend more than £40 even with buckets full of drinks.
All in all this was a lovely holiday and intend to visit again at some point next year.

| said: It's a very luxury hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful. There is no really beach but a lot of little places with chairs on the rocks. There is a nice swimming pool and near the rooms with garden view you have a swimming pool with a lazy river.
The rooms are very nice.
The food is good every evening there is a different theme buffet.
Only complaint the beverage is very expensive, they count also 12% service tax and 11% different taxes, so after you see the menu card you have to pay 23% more.
A beer cost €5.50 and the cheapest bottle of wine €50.
When you order a drink in the lobby bar you get each some nuts when you eat them they charge them it cost €1.80.
Also the a la carte restaurants are very expensive.
We had a good holiday there.

| said: The Ritz Carlton - one of the best hotels ever experienced.
Rooms spacious, well furnished and very clean. Loved the chocolate touch in the evening.
The food was extremely good, plenty of variety and presentation beautiful and care taken in preparation and presentation.
Beautiful area and easy access to the main resort which was friendly, plentiful with restaurants and shops, must barter start one third of asking price and don't ask the price unless you want the item. Gems and stones good prices, make up to suit request and taste. Watch for the blue and white taxis - crazy drivers but cheap! Snorkling fantstic - must see.
staff at the hotel are fantastic. Very caring, wiolling and entusiastic, attentive and professional to the hilt. Second to none, so willing to please. Genuine.
Going back next year with SCUBU qualifiations to enjoy the beautiful qualities of the sea more.
One of the best locations and certainly the best hotel ever been to.

| said: We have just returned from the Ritz Carlton and I must agree with what everyone else has said. It was out of this world. Everything was perfect in everyway. The hotel staff could not do enough for you and made you feel so welcome. The food was lovely and the rooms were massive. Naama Bay was great for shops and restaurants. The only criticism we have is that the egypt wine tastes like TCP. The Italian wine costs about £58 per bottle!! So it was beer and cocktails for me. However in Naama Bay the white wine was much better and cost about £1.50 a glass. Apart from that the hotel was supberb, acutally outstanding. The pools were really big and although there were a lot of people staying there when we went you wouldn't know it.If you snorkel or dive then you will be in heaven here. If you don't then do try it!!!! We are trying to book for next year to take the kids there as there were loads of families and couples and they were enjoying their holiday equally. We looked at some of the other hotels while we were there and the Ritz really is the best one by far. There isn't really a beach, however if you want to swim in the sea you just walk up to where the divers go and just swim off the jety. Let me know if you have any questions and this is a holiday i am recomending to everyone as this is the best one yet and will never ever forget it!

| said: First of all, I would like to cover the hotel itself. The Ritz is immaculate, from the huge marble foyer to the comfortable suites.
The expansive grounds are a joy to walk through and there is not even a stray leaf on a path. The suites are servived twice daily and the level of personal touches to the room service was enough to make me fall in love with the hotel.
From rose petals on the beds to inventive folding of the linen. Even my girlfriend's teddy bear was placed in creative locations around and on the bed.
One day, having returned from swimming in the ocean, I found my mobile phone (that I had casually tossed on to one of the marble tables) had been lovingly placed in the hands of the teddy bear at the head of the bed.
Another example was on my last night and I returned to find the same bear sitting in a towel sculpture of a boat with rose petals around it.
Some may not like this sort of attention to detail, but I do. It also showed how trustworthy the staff of the Ritz Sharm El Sheikh are.
The food in any of the retaurants was excellent. I recommend the Lebanese Fayrous. Try the mixed Mezzeh for starters and dont expect to want any else to follow. Delicious, fun to eat and filling.
The table service was exactly what I expected from a 5 star supreme hotel.
The location is interesting. Sharm El Sheikh was an unusal place. Don't expect anything more than a collection of desert roads and unfinished hotel projects. That said, there was no active construction across the entire region during my stay and if there were, the grounds of the Ritz are so massive and secluded that nothing would ever be audiable or visable.
The hotel has no real beach to speak of, so will not be suitable to children expecting a nice sandy place to play. It is amazing for adults wanting to scuba dive and/or snorkel. 'Amazing' simply does not cover this.
The reef on the Ritz shoreline and beyond is considered one of the best diving locations in the world.
The staff were incredibly friendly, professional and lacked the usually snobbery that some staff have in other 5 star hotels around the world.
The entertainment is tasteful, light hearted and at times breathtaking.
I would say that the Ritz is a perfect hotel for couples without children. There was little for children to do as there was no suitable beach. That said, the massive pools were immaculate and the chlorine regulated daily. Even with a very low chlorine level in the pool, it was still very clean.
Would I visit the Ritz again? Yes. In fact I enjoyed it so much, that I am returning with my partner in Decemeber, only 6 months after my first visit.

| said: We went to the Ritz Carlton for a 'chill out' week which is exactly what we got! The hotel is one of the best we have stayed in - the staff were extremely polite and helpful, the food was excellent - plenty of choice for all tastes, the hotel grounds were perfectly looked after and the pools were beautiful and again extremely clean. The rooms were wonderful -no complaints at all. We celebrated a birthday whilst there - the bed was decorated with rose petals etc and a birthday card and delicious cake arrived courtesy of the hotel and staff (we had not requested the cake either!) The hotel is a little distance from the town, but it is very easy to hop on the hotel mini bus or order a taxi. The entertainment is fairly limited, but we think that is beter than being bullied into sing-a-longs or bingo! We would definitely return to this hotel.

The staff are simply outstanding, friendly, hard working, always smiling and enthusiastic, from the managers, to the waiters, the porters, to the ground staff, perfect in every way. The rooms are superb, we had a Ramsis Suite, turn down twice a day, clean and very luxurious. The highlight has to be the lazy river, jump on a lilo and simply float around the large waterpark. The food was very nice and not expensive either. Always plenty of subeds, and the pools and surrounding area is kept immaculately clean. Stop reading and book now, if you've already booked get ready for an amazing experience.

Fantastic time of year to go, the weather is just perfect!!
The Ritz Carlton Hotel is everything you could wish for a luxurious christmas holiday.
I am not a huge fan of the egyption food, anywhere, there is a lot of meat involved, and it's not really to my taste, but breakfast is fantastic, so you don't need an awful lot after that anyway, and I always come home feeling slightly healthier, due to being slightly trimmer, and not being greedy on holiday, as I am in other country's! so it's not that bad and everything else makes up for it!!
I definately recommend the Ritz Carlton Hotel!!! Beautiful!!
