On our arrival we were greeted with a complimentary drink in the impressive lobby. The hotel was spotless and our room was very spacious with great views of the pool and beach. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. There was entertainment on most nights in the hotel and the staff and guests had some good fun and laughs at it. Not much in the way of clubs and bars in Costa Calma but the beaches and stunning coastline makes up for that. If you want a quiet and relaxing holiday the Costa Calma Palace is the place to go. Good food, service and staff..... this is what makes this hotel stand out from others. We would definately return here as we were more than pleased with our stay there

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel, and we would return. It is first class.

Everything about it is superb, staff, location, style of hotel, food, heated pool (winter only), room, balcony.

The only thing I would say is that it is quiet and most of the guests do go to bed before 23:00 !!

I went to the Costa Calma Beach Hotel on 28 August 04. I found the hotel very nice, staff very helpful and always smiling and there's always someone cleaning where ever you go.

The food was nice plenty to choose from, pools are very nice too. I would go back to this hotel but found the resort very quiet and not many English.

Wow, what an excellent hotel, We arrived christmas Day and were greeted by the Hotel porter who took our luggage to the reception and straight to our rooms. The rooms are fabulous, immaculate and clean, beautiful balcony with loungers and glass barriers so that the seaview is not obstucted - not a fingerprint in sight!!. The Bathrooms are spacious with complimentary smellies - also faultlessly clean.

The restaurant has just 2 sittings but its huge, food is cooked on view and in a buffet style, same with breakfast but the champagne is free flowing. The staff are very helpful and polite but speak limited English but this did not cause any problems for us. It is located on the sea front with a private beach area. 2 pools, one has hydro bed jets.

The evening entertainment was aimed towards the older guest as majority of the guests were older couples but again this was not a problem.

This hotel is the best we have been to and we were told that it is 4 star and not 5 star (which it definately should be)due to the fact that there is only 1 restuarant.
They also have a spa/indoor pool/9 hole golf course (proven handicap? required)and I think beauty rooms etc but we did not use these.

There is not much to do in the evenings so if you are looking for a 7 day holiday to a hotel that is just that little bit more special then this is the one for you!!. - can't say a bad word about this hotel and that's unsual for me!!.
