We had a weeks stay here and were really suprised. We thought it would be cheap and cheerful and quite dingy, however, in our 1 bedroomed apartment we had a great view of the pool and it had toaster, microwave, clean cutlery, kettle, everything you need.

My son slept on the pull out bed but i found it was very thin and he fell out of it a couple of times.

The reception ladies were fantastic, english, friendly and very imformative. Didnt do the entertainment or the kids club, both were in the other hotel, which was a lot bigger.

The pool is lovely and clean, just watch out for cockroaches and ants, but thats just the norm.

Found these apartments brilliant, in very green and luscious grounds. Maid cleaned the apartment 11 days out of 14 with regular changes of linen and towels. Apartment had everything in it you needed to cook a meal ect. You can collect a parasol from reception for a small refundable deposit, take it with you to the pool and also use it on your terrace, the same goes for an electric fan for your bedroom although they didn't charge us. Pool was cleaned every morning at 8am then you put your towels out at 9am. Entertainment in the sister Hotel was mainly for children.
Staff were very friendly and helpfull.
Only negative comment cockroaches come out late at night so keep your windows and doors closed and they can't get in, we had no problem with them.

As a Uk travel agent I had researched these apartments excessively. Upon arrival I was very unimpressed with the room. There were several dead cochroaches scattered around the room and living ones too. The facilities within the kitchen were excellent we had sandwich toaster and a kettle. However I wouldn't recommend using them as they were very un clean.

The reception staff at the sister hotel the Dunas Caleta was excellent nothing was too much for them. Be aware that the Los Alisios no longer has a reception and you have to check in here.

The only thing that let this hotel down was the cleaners. I did all of the cleaning. It states in the brochure that there is made service 5 times a week. NO when they could be bothered I was there 10 days and had to ask for clean sheets and towels. They never swept or made the beds. Silly and petty maybe but I dont go away to clean. The electric went off several times after speaking to several other families I realised we was not alone. The bedding also had holes in and the light switches and most of the electrical sockets were decaying. There were several dead mosquitos and blood on the walls.

The resort iteself was excellent and would def visit here again. If I had the chance to go again I would stay in the sister complex The Dunas Caleta.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Los Aisios.

The Apartments look a bit tired from the outside but have been refurbished on the inside.

On arrival in our room we found a 'Turicomplex' wash bag filled with soaps, shampoo, shoe shine etc which I found quite surprising as we had never received these in Self Catering apartments before. The rooms were well equipped with Cooking Utensils and there is even a toaster and a kettle!!!!.

The Staff were absolutely first class and could not have been more helpful, especially when our flight home was delayed for 10 hours!!!! The staff were more interested in trying to make our wait more comfortable than the rep!!!!!!!

The Los Alisios does not have any entertainment as such but there is a pool bar which is open til around midnight. For more entertainment there is the sister complex next door.

Overall I would definitely return to the Los Alisios, I've just been in to the travel agency to cost them up for next year!

I had heard that much about Fuertventura and Corralejo we had to try there and I was not disappointed.

The Los Alisios is not a big complex it is very compact but you do feel hemmed in I found it to be a relaxing place both day and night.

We usually go to the beach but found the town beaches were not up to much unless you went to the flag beach anyway we just stayed round the pool got our snacks at the pool bar

I loved the place I would definitely go back again it is very central for the town and the staff were very helpful and I would like to say Louise our rep was brillant too.

The apartments basic but that did not bother us hope to get back there sometime later this year to the same apartments.

I must say that I beg to differ with all the negative comments about this hotel. I visited Los Alisios with a group of 15 other friends and we couldn't have had a better time.

The apartments were basic but top class, with spacious rooms and a good area to cook your own food. I have no complaints about the maids as they did an excellent job of cleaning our rooms on a daily basis.

As for the comments on thefts, we experienced nothing of the sort- there is a safety deposit box in each room if you're worried about your valuables.

As for the staff- absolutely wonderful people, I would like to give a special mention to Auntie Carol who made us feel so welcome and was a great person to have a chat with.

Overall this hotel was spot on for what we wanted and is a great place to stay, it's right next to the town with the main strip of bars and a few clubs too.

We went to Los Alisios apartments with no idea what they were going to be like and were very pleased with our travel agents reccommendation!

The apartments were basic but had everything we needed and were cleaned everyday (except Sunday) when we were there.
The location was ideal, a short walk from the beach and very close to the centre of town, but not too close!

The facilities at the hotel were better than expected with a reasonable sized pool and nice poolside bar. This was as far as the entertainment went, however we were always welcome to use the facilities of the hotel next door which were better as it was a bigger hotel.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always happy to answer questions and queries.

We had a great stay in Los Alisios with no problems at all. We are even hoping to book there next year. I would reccommend it to most people.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in august found the 1st floor apartment spacious but basic.

We had an infestation of ants which lived in the wall cavities and electric sockets even the microwave. This was not a new problem but a well established one.

Maid service seemed to be when they could be bothered to climb the stairs. The longest the room went uncleaned was 5 days, hasten to add I did most of the cleaning.

The public area's were run down the pool table was non playable as it had no cushions and the cues had no tips, yet they still had the cheek to charge a deposit for use.
Burgleries were rife 5 whilst we were there. This happens every year and is only acted upon after the crime has been commited.

I observed that the complex is easily accessable from all angles and if it hadn't been for the vigilence of fellow holiday makers their would have been many more.

Would I go to this complex again absolutley not it is advertised as a 3+ star rating but would be lucky to get a 2.

Recently arrived home. Apartments were great.

We had a 1 bed apartment which was modern and spacious.

Maid service was good rooms seamed to be cleaned most days if I remember correctly.

Good size balcony ours had a nice view overlooking the pool area. Ideal location, only a 5 min walk to main stretch of bars etc. and about the same distance to the beach.

Not much entertainment on site, just a pool bar for drinks. This didn’t bother us as spent most our time out and about.

The entertainment seemed good in the sister hotel Dunas Caleta.

We arrived at our apartment and we was welcomed by the staff they was very pleasant and they was there to help you.

Cleanliness is clean it is basic, its what you would accept. Big balcony and plently of room. They cleaned the bathroom lovely and clean that was the best thing.

They change the towels every 3 days and the beds and cleaned every day.

Location is excellent it is right in the centre it is 5 minutes walk to the beach and 5/10 minutes to the town where all the shops are.

Excellent places to eat out if you go self catering and it is worth the money. The best breakfast that we had was at the los perdricos, dont no bout the spelling thou, and penny lane is not far from the apartments its a good English bar and resturante, Food for all the family.

There isn't any entertainment really but if you like to you can go to the sister hotel which is nextdoor, you can also use there facilities too.

Yes, we are booking to go back next year!

We stayed here this year.

What can we say but fab.

The staff on reception were great. The bar staff were cool. Happy hour fab, we went for that. Had a right laugh a few euro for what we would call two jugs of beer.

Great rooms. Yes they are basic but very clean. Maid service was very good we were only there for a week so our room only got cleaned 3 times I think but hey it was enough.

The staff were brilliant with our little boy as he is Adhd and is autistic as well so he is hard work anyway but what’s the problem as long as we were at the pool he was very happy.

The beach which we called the dunes is 4.5 euro. Drive away in a taxi which is not bad as you can stay there all day as the taxies come here all the time. Don’t go to the dunes though if you are a prude as it is in between the two big hotels as most of the people have got nothing on at all!

The places to eat or good as well some are cheap we found a pizza place beside a pub called 7 Pints very expensive but hey your on holiday.

If I was asked would I go back again – yes. I am in fact am going back in November of this year to the same place to see the same old faces and I can't wait.

We stayed here 1st 2 weeks of July and had a really good time. We arrived at 11.30am and our room was ready.

We were not far from the pool or childrens park. The pool was clean lots sunbeds. Happy hour at bar 5-6pm, food in snack bar was nice.

At night we went to the sister hotel which I'm rating on entertainment as there wasn't really any at our bar.

Club Calata has a kids disco which ours enjoyed. The quiz nights can drag on a little! But can be fun. The shows that are on are very good kids watch in amazement. When the bar closed you were free to sit outside. What we didn't no until the 2nd week if you sit outside you can take your own drink which is much cheaper.

The main town is couple min walk away. We did see a lot cockroches at night but not in rooms I didn't like it though but by the 2nd week I was used to them running from rock to rock.

Everymorning the cleaners would jet wash the paths.

We stayed in self catering accomodation ,we had booked a one bed apartment but on our arrival was asked if we would like to upgrade to a 2 bed free of charge by the helpfull receiptionist,we did the only downside being it was near the pool bar with music from 11am till 12pm the girls didn't mind their Dad found it over powering at times.

Location was very good with shops a stroll away, would very much reccomend a day trip by coach of the Island our Spanish rep was extremely well versed and very informative.

Bit noisey at times at night with teens running around late at night drunk but this all changed when families came in on the Wednesdsay changeover.

Maid service very good, whole complexe was kept spotless, pool cleaned every morning would definately advise use of safety deposit box in apartment daughter left a watch and two rings out which went missing.

The staff really do a good job and it was nice to be in a welcome atmosphere, again Carol and Colin at the bar were great as mentioned in other posts.

Overall good for 2* cheap and cheerfull complex

The apartment that we were in was based on the ground floor as my wife is disabled that was not to much trouble when we asked for a ground floor room.

The complex its self was very clean as the maids and groundstaff we allways keeping it clean.

The location was very good as it was handy to the beach and to the town centre for my wife.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpfull, the guy at the bar was great. The entertainment was next door in the sister complex and people seem to enjoy it we were out most nights.

We would certainly go and visit this complex again.

We booked this holiday last minute and were quite nervous as to what it would be like as the pictures did not give much away. We stayed for 1 week.

The apartment was excellent and spacious, and we had a maid service 3 times while we were there.

The pool was clean on the whole as the staff would get up at 7.30am to clean it, however this did not happen on the Sunday we were there so the pool area was quite manky on that day, but was fine apart from that.

You can also use the pool at the Dunas hotel next door which is bigger and better as there didnt seem to be as many small kids splashing around !

The location was perfect for us as it was set off the main strip so you did not get waken up. It is a 5 minute walk to all the local restaurants and the centre of the resort.

The beach is also a 5 minute walk. The waterpark is only a few minutes walk away too (Make sure you wear a t-shirt or re-apply your sun block as we got frazzled at the waterpark!!!). The market is next to the waterpark and that is open a couple of times in the week.

The staff were excellent, especially the lady on reception, who would tell us about all the things we could do in the area, and booked the excursions that we went on.

The entertainment in the complex is pretty non exsistent, but we did not go there for that. They do have a beach hut style bar that serves anything from Beer to Cocktails. It was mainly the beer bellied tattooed chav types that drank there.

I would recommmend hiring a car and driving down to Jandia which has an out of this world beach that will take your breath away. It was a beautiful place and costs about £10 in petrol to get.

I would certainly visit this hotel again as we only paid £470 for the 2 of us and would recommend it to a couple as a place to go for a nice relaxing but enjoyable holiday.

Like most people who had visited this site we were a little bit dubious after we had booked. Once we'd had arrived though we were pleasantly surprised at how nice they were.

We were a little cramped but with three teenage girls any rooms would be cramped.

The location of the apartments is very good, you are only about five minutes from the water park and about five minutes from the bars and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate in booking again.

Look out for the cats, some are lovely looking but in in particular came to our apartment every morning to visit us. We hardly saw any cockroaches, but my god ants thousands of them. A little tip about roaches, keep plugs in all sinks and baths, they can't get in then.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed it.

the rooms are basic but very clean. The maid service is one of the best we've come across.

The reception staff are very helpful and polite and English. The bar staff are also very polite.

For a nice quiet and peaceful way to base your stay on this delightful island you couldn't go wrong with booking at the Las Alisios

No entertainment but we didn't go for that, kids were happy to spend the day at the pool.

Excellent location, near the main street but not too near, nice and quiet, family friendly.

Just returned from a week (July 05) at the Los Alisios Appt in Correlejo – Fuerteventura with First Choice Holidays.

Well considering we booked last min & the deal cost £219 each we certainly cant grumble!

Managed to read lots of reviews on the place before hand & found that the complex had been refurbished. With that in mind we managed to get a re-furbished apartment, which was great!

The accommodation

The Appt (No 67) was in a block set back from the main poolside area & a short distance from the reception so absolutely no noise what so ever! Al the appt are only 2 story which is a good feature too, as I hate high rise.

The facilities were great, we had a nice balcony, the bathroom was spotless & the kitchen facilities were good too, it was equipped with 2 ring cooker, microwave, kettle & toaster in addition, there was a good range of pots pans &crockery too. We also had a PAY-TV but didn’t bother with that at-all. The appt also had refitted double-glazing as well, tastefully painted and cleaned every other day.

The only bad thing was ANTS! Had loads of them, not a big problem but you really need to take some ant powder with you! The only other small issue was a light bulb on the balcony, which we asked to get repaired but the request was ignored! Not a major problem just a small annoyance! Apart from that the accommodation we thought was excellent value, well placed & with good facilities especially for children. It was family orientated & German free!

Sunbeds – well all the usual, folk try to reserve them, that really annoys the shit out of me enough to go pas the “abandoned towels & lob them on the floor! It really is selfish. Anyways we managed to get by the pool when we wanted to.

CONTRARY TO OTHER REPORTS OF THEFT/BURGLARY ECT. AT THIS COMPLEX; - we found it 100% SAFE! There are safety deposit boxes concreted into the wardrobes & the doors/windows all have decent locks on them. We didn’t even bother with the deposit boxes as we had a lockable samsonite with us & always carried our wallet/purse on us. Left our passports with reception so no problems at all!

Prices at the complex for food & drink are very reasonable; they do a dish of the day for about 4 euros. We didn’t eat there at all apart from what we made for ourselves in the appt.

The only other bad thing seemed to be the number of chav likes there, swilling lager at 10am with their football tattoos, white trainers, sovereign rings from Argos & fake Burberry on show for all to see. However it wasn’t that off putting!

Supermarkets

There is a Netto very close by, but the Super Dino supermarket in the old town (1 block behind the main post office) is 20 – 30 % cheaper, & 4 times as big! Worth it just to get the bottles of wine for £1!!!! – which was very nice too.

The Apartments were very clean and well kept, we had a room overlooking the pool which was never overcrowded and we were always able to get sun loungers.

The location was very central to restaurants/bars/shops etc however the beach close by was rocky and right next to the harbour, it was overcrowded and not overly clean so we went to the blue flag beaches that were a short taxi ride or a very long walk!!

The sister hotel next door hires bikes so a trip to the sand dunes is a must, there spectacular!

The staff in reception were very friendly & helpful.

My only complaint was the pool! It was dirty & not heated in January it was to cold. This was easily over come by using the larger pool in the sister complex next door.

The kitchen facilities although basic were very clean and mainly new, with the exception of the time warp fridge!

Bathroom very clean had to fill the bath at 5 o'clock to get warm bath though!

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Alisos. All we can say is excellent....great rooms, great pool, great location.

The opposite can be said for the sister complex, Las Dunas Calete...just about room to stand in that pool never mind attempt to swim, very noisy, food so-so, in fact La Dunas reminded me of a British holiday Camp!!! Can't fault Los Alisos though.

True there was some renovations being undertaken at a couple of the older apartments to the front of the complex but the noise wasn't too intrusive. Apartments are excellently located for the main strip and some spotlessly clean beaches, the harbour being a 10 minute stroll away.

Reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

We would not hesitate to use Los Alisos again.

We booked to stay in Los Alisios Appartments, Corralejo some time ago then heard bad reports about the appartments - ie, run down, shabby etc. We have just returned from our holiday today and we had a great time. Some work is still being carried out at the appartments & we did hear some noise during the day, but we had a refurbished 2 bedroom appartment and we really couldnt fault it. It had a living area with tv, kitchen with 2 ring cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster & all cooking utensils needed. Bathroom was a lovely size & very "new". Bedrooms were a good size & had sliderobes. We had 2 small children with us and we spent all day everyday at the pool, usually eating at the pool side bar and we all had a wonderful time. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist in any way they could. I was a bit apprehensive about going to these appartments after reading previous reports, but I would recommend them & would visit them again.

The location of the accommodation was good as you had easy access to the beach and to all the bars and restaurants which were perhaps 5 minutes walk away.
This accommodation is purely self catering although you can use the facilities at the hotel next door the Dunas Caleta which was very nice. There is a poolside bar which serves snacks and pizzas which although I never tried did look very nice. The pool area was very dangerous if you had small children running around as the poolside tiles were very slippy when wet. The newly renovated rooms were spacious and very well equipped with Microwave, toaster, kettle, two ring cooker and all the utensils and crockery you would require. There is a lovely spacious bathroom and a nice size bedroom with a large wardbrobe this housed a safety deposit box which was payable at reception and to be honest I think one firm yank and the door of the safe would have opened. (but I never heard of any crime anyway)
The maid visited every other day and kept the room clean with clean sheets and towels (although the towels were a little worn). The only down side was that renovations were taking place and some noise was experienced when they are knocking tiles off which at times was very annoying and very loud.
