| said: We arrived here about 9.30 in the evening, unpacked etc and went for a drink in the Lord Nelson. Was made very welcome. The room was clean with everything you needed. The maids came in nearly every day and changed towels, swept and mopped floors and changed bedding regular (They even washed up once!!!). Dish cloths, tea towels and washing up liquid were provided. Also on our arrival a bottle of water had been left in the fridge for us which was a lovely thought. The shower leaked a bit which ended up soaking the floor which we did report but it was still leaking when we left. I would recommend these apartments but request a high floor as we was pool level which I think they class as ground floor and even though it was brilliant to walk out and be at the pool we had a couple of men around 4am one Saturday morning lurking around our patio area which unnerved me and my son. The Lord Nelson Gregg, Katherina, Tony, Roz, Liz, Tony, Danny were very friendly oh yes and Vinny the cat. We had some right laughs. The Slow Boat was a nice place to eat as was Tommy Nutters (We did have one meal there which was not as good). Loads of restaurants to choose from. All in all a good 2 weeks

No entertainment during the day. Very poor entertainment during the evening.
Three robberies whilst we were there whilst people were in the apartments sleeping.
+++ Plenty of sunbeds. Hotel receptionists very friendly. Cleaners very friendly. Position of apartments very handy.

| said: The apartments there had everything you could need microwave, toaster and kettle. The cleaners came round every other day and the bedding and towels changed 3 times a week.
Plenty of sunbeds round the pool which is freezing by the way only for the brave. Make sure you always lock your door, while we were there somebody woke to find a man in there room about to rob them.
The entertainment usually finished about midnight, and nobody seems to get up much before 10. All in all good value for money - basic but clean and friendly would go back again.

| said: Clean and quiet with a very central location. Didnt experience any problems during my stay. We did have a few ants, but thats when I nocked over a bag of crisps after happy hour(S) and didnt sweep them up till morning -my fault!!
Large living area and nice sun terrace. Request a first floor apartment to get a private terrace. El Capitan was the on site bar and very quiet, though we did travel out of season so it wasnt going to be very busy.
Had a good time and the apartments are situated right on one of the main roads (not busy traffic) to the centre of Caleta de fuste (Costa Caleta).

Didn't use the bar as they allowed smoking and we don't smoke so we didn't want to come home smelling of it.
We will use this hotel again for a base to explore the island soon.

| said: We went at the end of September and arrived at 8pm at night we hired a safety deposit box from reception and it was only 12 euro, the room was really nice and clean and had a big living room, it was really well equipped for self catering as it had pans, plates, cups, glasses, washing up liquid, pegs, microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster also a tv.
The poolside bar had really good entertainment at night but the food and drinks was a little expensive (mainly pop) but the food was very nice.
The location of the accomadation was perfect, the supermarket(netto) was only 2 minutes walk away, the beach 5 mins and main streets with bars and restaurants were only 5 minutes walk away either direction there was plenty of choice.
Its definately an all English resort, there was plenty of sunbeds and around the pool was really nice and clean.
All in all the holiday was fantastic but if you do go definately go to Pieros at night or rock cafe but you have to be there early as its one of the main bars on the island, different entertainment every night.
Would definately go again.

| said: This was our second visit to Fuerteventura, but first stay in Puerto Caleta apartments.
Excellent location close to all amenities. Allocated an excellent second floor apartment with private balcony. Staff keep complex in very clean condition but observed typical Spanish working hours so no reception available after 8pm.
Had wonderful evenings in the Lord Nelson bar with very friendly hosts Katherina and Greg and met some great new friends whom we hope to meet up with again shortly on our return to this complex.

| said: Just got back from a two week holiday at Puerto Caleta and we all had a brilliant time the apartments were better than we expected after reading other peoples reviews.
The apartments were lovely the best we have stayed in they had everything you needed and more, they were very close to the beach it only took about 5 mins to get there if that.
The pool was lovely it was quite big and was always clean but the pool bar the Lord Nelson could do with a good paint and a scrub, but the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts weren't too bad.
We would all definitely go back there again, we enjoyed it that much we want to go back now.

| said: This was our third visit to this complex. The first couple of times we visited were booked through Thomas Cook but when we found out that you could book direct we did ... this October gone.
We have found the complex to be very clean and tidy on all three occasions, although we did get a few ants in our apartment the second visit but reception supplied us with a spray and they were soon sorted!
We dined in the Mona Lisa restaurant (situated below the complex) on our first visit and found the food to be really good although there was a wait between ordering and eating. El Capitan is a nice bar (also situated below the complex) and we made the most of "happy hour" on all three visits. The Lord Nelson bar (poolside) is a bit expensive compared to bars and restaurants in the town, but offers great home cooked food and Tony does a lovely full English breakfast.
The complex is situated just a short walk from the beach and the nearby town for local restaurants and bars. On our third visit we did find a shopping complex 30 minutes walk along the coast where our son made the most of MacDonald's and Burger King.
We found the hotel staff to be very pleasant and helpful on all our visits and the maids are lovely.
We had entertainment every time we visited the complex and really looked forward to Sarah's quizzes at "Happy hour" in the afternoon, although there was entertainment advertised for the evening we tended to go out of the complex for a meal and a drink.
The third time we visited the complex though there was a lot of noise during the night. One particular morning we woke to find our sons inflatables in the pool and a few people had clothes and towels taken from their verandas? Security has not been a problem in the past and this will not put us off going again.

| said: The hotel is ok but no matter what you do you will get visited by some ants, we didn't get any cockroaches but if you are untidy and messy you will.
The showers are useless and weak the kitchen facilities are ok but could do with being updated.
It is situated in a very good place close to lots of bars, restaraunts and shops. The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice and friendly.
All the hotel staff are very friendly and always there to help with a smile on their face :)

| said: The showers in accommodation are useless, we had 25 cockroaches in total which reception did treat.
There were two thefts on complex whilst we stayed the where they broke into apartments whilst people were a sleep and took cameras and cash.
Both my husband and son got ear infections believed to be caused by the swimming pool and spent 500 euros at the doctors.
The staff are very friendly and as it is a small complex you do get a friendly atmosphere.
The accommodation is situated in a good position in th resort close to all bars and restaurants.
Sarah the residential entertainment rep was very good and tried to get everybody in holiday spirit, although you have to like quizzes.
We didn't get any ants though the hotel needs to look at security in a big way and improve the accommodation we would not go back to these apartments again.

No security, things went missing in middle of the night i.e. washing left outside drying, tabs and lighter were nicked, woman was mugged waiting for bus at 05.30 in the morning, also reported attemted break-ins.
Little bar wasn't cheap, food was home cooked and good.
Pool was clean, plenty of beds.
Mona Lisa restaurant on site was better than most around.
No entertainment on site at all.
We would not go back unless security was improved it needs gates to stop people passing through.

I am very surprised to see some of the other comments
about (creepy crawlies) we enjoyed every minute,
although I did have ear problems but put this down to the flight?
The staff are lovely
We are coming back hopefully next year with family.
We personally don't enjoy lots of in your face entertainment and there was a good balance here (although I got roped into playing one night) it was good fun.
The maids are lovely, and apartments were spacious & clean.

If you like a quiet relaxing holiday then this is the place in the winter months at least.
Lovely clean pool and the staff are pleasant and courteous.
There is a restaurant and I have been told the food is good but I have not tried it (Yet)
