The Hanioti Palace is a delightful hotel located close to the centre of Hanioti. Just 80 metres away from the nearest beach, and with its own large swimming pool and attractive grounds, the Hanioti Palace is perfect base for a relaxing holiday. The shops, restaurants and bars of Hanioti are also just a few steps away.

Just returned from 1 week at the Halkidiki Palace. Hotel is clean, staff are freindly. 'Palace' may be an over statement I have been to better. Did not enjoy sharing tables at dinner and breakfast with complete strangers.

Pool area is OK although some repairs now needed. Plenty of sunbeds though. Not impressed with Halkidiki, no or little history.

Hanioti is dissapoining, plenty of tacky gift shops, central square consists of a few bars and restaraunts situated round a poorly built fountain. Whole area is not very pretty, nothing to go and view.

We did three Thomson trips, boat trip to turtle island very good, market trip abysmal, market is dirty and tacky, but grapes are cheap.

Sunset cruise OK but poor choice of music, supposed to be romantic, music consisits of Rock n Roll
and some other unromantic music.

Samos, Zante and Kefalonia far nicer. Not worth hiring a car at Halkidiki as nothing to look at.

Hotel very clean, close to beach and restaurants, shops etc. Worried when read reviews about food but better than expected.

Rooms very basic but clean, wouldn't eat in hotel every night as a lot of nice places to eat outside. Ok though to eat in some of the time.

Pool was great, big, clean and always spare sunbeds, never had to rush down to get one, always some available. Location quite lively but not full of teenagers, suitable for all ages, couples and families.

Lovely relaxing holiday but places to visit as well, best of both worlds.

The hotel was clean on arrival the staff very helpful they had set aside the rooms next door to one another as asked for. Pool was very nice very clean the water sparkled men cleaned it day and night every day. But very deep at one end (about 2m). There was no fights for sun beds plenty for all, however sparse umbrellas.
All staff are lovely very talkative even if you don't understand Greek!
The location is nice especially for the young lots of bars, shops, the jewellery shops are of the highest quality, and entertainment, the best food places are the Hot Goblin perfect for an english tea and jacket potatoes so wonderful miss them now! Hot Goblin run by Welshman and Greek wife. Gary's for the local kababs and cheaper soft drinks than the pool bar.
Beach ok, some of the family don't like sand and others don't like wasps!
Scuba diving a must it is breathtaking the fish are such beautiful colours.
The Greek night at hotel left a lot to be disired, one man playing a Greek guitar is not very entertaining.
I'd go back I'm young but my grandparents would not, too young for them.
