| said: We booked into the finas as part of our Olympic wedding package. We were married at st Pauls bay chapel in the second week.
We were self catering but ate at the hotel several times and found the food brilliant. Room was cleaned regular to a high standard. The balcony and view from it was superb.
The hotel staff made our holiday notably Jane and Tony on reception and aris and Eva on the bar. The party after the wedding in lindos continued at the finas in pefkos.
All our wedding guests came to the hotel with us. The whole hotel joined in and it was a magical evening. Special thanks to Olympic rep Sam at the finas. She was great. Debbie the Olympic rep wedding coordinator in Rhodes was simply outstanding.
On behalf of my new wife Jackie and me we would like to thank all those at the finas and the people we met there who contributed to a wonderful wedding and honeymoon.

second night of our holiday raw sewage was running down the hill right next to our room, complained to reception and rep both as good as useless.

| said: Me and my wife to be stayed at this hotel as my wife had stayed there before. The hotel view was outstanding with the feature water fall and pools.
When they learned we were to be married they were only to happy for us to have our reception there what a big mistake that turned out to be when we got back from having a lovely ceremony down at St Pauls bay nothing was ready no flowers or balloons or even put together tables were out. And as there was only ten of us I couldn’t see the prob and our super rep Sam who was included in the wedding party looked miffed and very annoyed things had not been organized earlier.
Still we had our meal which was fair and got given a bottle of cheap plonk and was also given a nice bill. But we carried on partying at another hotel down the road which in our eyes should have booked for our reception.
Any way regards to Tony and Jane at the finas for their help and co-operation during our stay.

| said: Have stayed at the Finas 6 times now. Have stayed with my brother, my mrs and a group of mates. This is a great place to stay for all types of holiday. The staff are all fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for them, they are the main reason i and many others return time and again. The bar is cheap and expertly run by Aris, the guy is so lively.
Food is very good and well priced, the portions are huge. Eddy is a fine chef.
The cleaning staff do a first class job 6 days a week, changing linen and towels 3 times.
Pefkos itself is a smallish village with lots of bars and restaurants most of which are a very good standard. There's a good cheap bus service to Faliraki and Rhodes town so Pefkos is an ideal base for a quiet holiday but also the clubs of faliraki are not too far away.
I would recommend Pefkos and especially The Finas Hotel to anyone young or old.

| said: If I had known what the hotel was like I would have paid £50 more for my holiday and stayed in one of the other hotels in Pefkos as there are many better than the Finas I'm afraid.
Very basic rooms and they were stuffy and mouldy with poor ventilation.
Staff were ok bar and pool area was fine but a few of the sunbeds were a bit worse for wear.
All in all you get whay you pay for here its cheap and cheerful but nothing more than that - I'm afraid I would not recommend this hotel as like I said before there are far better places to stay in Pefkos which itself is one of the best resorts in Rhodes

View over pool fantastic, but noisy at night music till 2.00am some nights.
The hotel staff were great, nothing too much trouble for them.
Lovely ground for the kids, hard to get them to leave the hotel they wanted to stay at the pool, there were a couple of pool tables a sand pit, and about 4 computers with free internet connection.
Overall a great holiday, would go again but not overlooking the pool!!

We were a wedding party of 21 an ended up having my parents wedding reception at the hotel. It was amazing.
The food was really nice as well, it was great as it was served all day.
Although the beach is down a steep hill it's worth going to see. The town is quite close to the hotel which is good.
Those looking for a good time should go to the Finas. Can't wait to go back there!

| said: Having spent what we considered to be a lot of money for a one room "apartment" we were very disappointed. "Bedsit" would describe the room better with a door that had to be locked to ensure it closed properly. The "Kitchen area" is in fact a cupboard and the room wasn't cleaned every day - or even half the time.
Whilst the drinks & food were reasonable prices the horrendous noise that went on every night until at least 2am, sometimes 4am almost ruined our holiday. Do not stay here; you will get no sleep, the bar staff are indeed friendly but the owner doesn't give two hoots.
The local beach and tavernas are lovely and thank goodness for us as that helped prevent our holiday being ruined but this resort is not to be recommended to families with children or anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday.

The location was great not very busy but we soon made it lively, the Eclipse bar can get lively and very good for young people.
The hotel was clean and the pool was nice bit too cold though!! Nice size and lots of sunbeds!
Staff at the Fina's were very friendly and a good laugh!
The hotel food was good but not alot of choice but there are plenty of restaurants down in the town!
The entertainment was good but not if you want something abit more lively!
A great holiday and we are going back in August!

The food cooked by the excellent chefs was great..not one bad meal, and served by three of the nicest people{Sebastian, Vangelis and Kathy.}
The staff here are the most obliging people one can wish to meet. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The entertainment was out of this world, especially the bar-men {Aris and Jimmy}.
The complex is kept in excellent condition by the dedicated groundsman (George} This hotel is for people who want to have a good time..and you dont have to be young to do that..all ages are catered for.
My congratulations to the manager (Yannis} on a well run hotel.
And The freindly Receptionists who keep it running smoothly.
Dont go if you don't want some fun.

| said: The apartments themselves are typically Greek and basic, but are very pretty painted white with blue doors and window frames.
The swimming pool is also very nice with terraces and waterfalls. Unfortunately the hotel management play loud disco music from 9am until about 12 midnight. And two nights a week they have Kareoke by the pool, and one night it went on until 1am. It was a shame, but we did not go near the pool area for this reason and therefore did not actually spend any money in the hotel.
If you want a peaceful holiday do not stay here.

| said: First the bad news and there is only a small amount. The food was basic in the hotel. Even the specials were hit and miss. However there are many great restaurants in the main resort so there was never any need to eat in the hotel.
Now the good news, everything else was really good. The pool was uncrowded, clean and warm.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly, many were English and Aris the bar man was a real character.
Ambience was superb as Capital Gold was playing all the time and the musak was right up my street man!
Entertainment nights were amateurish but real fun just the same. Karaoke is encouraged and is great crack. All in all a great time was had by all.
The views of the sunsets from the hotels rooms were worth the price of the holiday.
The highlights of the holiday were Federer the dog and the peacock and the wild cats which were really interesting. Oh! I forgot the horses on the mountains, the goats and the donkeys.

Staff in reception very helpful, and well what can we say, Aris and sophie, what a lovely pair, made us laugh alot, good nights round the bar and nice food, everyone very friendly.
Swimming pool very clean not crowded at all.
Weather very hot the whole two weeks, the only fault was the umbrellas, they were fixed to the ground and could not be put down, many people hit their heads on them.
Pefkos very pretty with lovely places to eat which we did the whole two weeks because it was so cheap.
The kitchen was basic but if you have been to Greece before this is all you get, infact we had more then some places we have been. Yes we will be back, and this time bringing family and friends.

| said: This is a good hotel in a great location.
The owner and all staff are friendly and enthusiastic. Aris, Sophie, Sebas and the rest of the waiting staff both day time and night time were polite and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The reception staff were also very good and again nothing was too much trouble.
Before this holiday karaoke was not my idea of fun but it was holiday time after all and why not. The only downside to the entertainment for me was the fun night organised by two ladies who thought they were extremely funny but have a bit of work to do to make this session flow and be fun.
The accommodation is basic bit very clean and Iannis told us that they're the oldest two blocks were due for refurbishment this year.
The food is well prepared and served and a reasonable price. The times that we did not fancy walking back down the hill we were more than happy to eat in the hotel,if the music was not too loud and of the type we liked.

| said: We arrived at the Finas late at night. The lady showed us to our 3 studio rooms (107,108,110) which on opening the door we found the fridge door wide open and towels around the wet floor. She just replied 'Oh those bloody cleaners, I’ll take those towels'. Turned the light on, what a horrible sight. The dirty curtains were hanging off the rail as half the rings were missing. On opening our shutters to our back terrace the wood was split and has a sharp edge, should a child had grabbed the side of the door it would have cut them.
The small kitchen was dirty, did not use any equipment. The teaspoons were so stained they were brown. The bathroom had a constant sewer smell and the toilet always bubbled after flushing.
The whole week we were there the cleaner used our outside table as a storage space for black bin liners full of towels and linen & a large beer glass never moved from on top of the fire extinguisher box outside. Also two lilos were resident outside. Beds clean & very comfortable, towels always clean. The other reviews I have read must mean that they were accommodated in the newer apartments, which even from the outside looked better. We had plastic chairs and tables they had bigger balconies and new furniture. If you go here ask for the newer rooms.
Large cockroach arrived on our 3rd night.
Didn’t eat there, tried to avoid the place as much as possible. Tacky karaoke, football, chicken & chips as a special? Messy bar area. The pool area looks lovely and it’s a good sized pool but there was a slight sewer smell near the waterfall area.
English lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. Great location.

| said: we arrived in the early hours of thursday 2nd july so didnt really get to view the hotel properly until the following afternoon. still, staff we very pleasant even at such a ludicrous hour in the morning!
The hotel itself is in a great location, near enough to walk into the resort centre but also far enough away if u want to spend a quiet evening at the hotel.
the studios are very spacious - the largest our party agreed, we have ever stayed in. Our only complaint was that our bathroom did tend to get very wet with the high pressure of the shower and the unsightly mould on our bathroom ceiling. I dont know if this was the case in all trhe bathrooms, but it did put us off slightly.
the pool area was fantastic and i have never seen so many sun loungers provided in one resort!if u plan to do a few lengths of the pool then u have no chance as its full of inflatables which we all thoroughly enjoyed.( apologises to the old lady we bounced our volleyball off a number of times!)
all in all a lovely hotel with very nice staff!

The pool area is a bit cramped but we managed. Went to the beach as you turn left out of the hotel, lovely wee bay about 20 sun beds nice taverna bar.
The apartment was lovely right at the back fairly new, we had air condition on what a difference.
The bar staff excellent especially Aris and Sophia. Loved the karaoke and strawberry diqari definitely going back.

| said: When we booked our holiday with Olympic we looked for a small hotel/apartment the brouchure says 20 units which we took to mean 20 rooms - in fact there were 139 rooms in 20 blocks, this was very misleading the hotel is very noisy the pool area is so crammed with sun loungers only the lucky few managed to get the sun as you are unable to move your bed around - too many loungers you are almost on top of the person next to you, and the sun lounge area is on different levels of narrow shelves, not great for people with small children -very overcrowed even in early june! The rooms need lots of repairs handles missing curtains hanging, a large screw sticking out at waist height very dangerous. The bar does not close until the last person goes - sometimes 6 am !! the entertainment is loud,if that's what you like then great but if like us kareoke is your worst nightmare then you too will hate the Finas complex. The owner was not impressed if you brought your shopping from any other supermarket and said so - his staff english & greek were very nice,Thankfully Pefkos is a lovely place otherwise we would not have enjoyed our holiday .We went to the beach and stayed away from the Finas as much as possible.

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Aris (bar man). He kept the bar open for us until at least 04:30 am every morning.
Food was very good at very reasonable price, Sebastian the waiter was very helpful.
Not much in the way of entertainment, but we really enjoyed the karaoke nights twice a week. Otherwiswe made our own entertainment. Pefkos is a quiet village anyway so if you want entertainment every night, you should go to Faliraki or Rhodes town.
I would recommend this hotel to anybody and personally we will be going there again next month.

| said: We arrived home from the Finas apartments on Saturday 12th June. We were very impressed with the accomodation very clean with a full bathroom, and a shower curtain, there was allways constant hot water. The bed was very comftable with clean bedding and towels ( which were white a fluffy ) three times in one week, unless you are a regular traveller to greece you know that is not usually the case. The beach was about a 15 min walk away not to bad on the way as it was down hill but coming back was a bit of a drag, wouldn't want to do that in july and August. There was air conditioning ( which was payable locally ) we didn't bother, I do feel that this should of been included in the price of the holiday. All in all I can't fault the accomodation in any way. Pefkos has changed over the last few years but has still managed to keep a little bit of Greece.

We made lots of friends including Aris, Helen, Kate, Costa and also another family from Ireland whom we still keep in touch with.
The entertertainment was great the staff were always up for a laugh (karaoke-not mentioning any names-Costa and Aris)
The location was great not too far from the beach and just a short walk from all the restaurants would recommend Nicolas to eat out at it is wonderful.
When we went back this year to a different hotel we went up to see how all our friends from last year were getting on, Costa had left the Finas and now had his own bar called Fuse with his brother whom we got on really well with
