Lambis Studios are very good. The rooms are large. Plenty of hot water. Great views from nearly all the rooms with the exception of one or two. TV but only one English speaking channel.Pool area very nice, plenty of sunbeds any time of day. Food basic but good quality and a little cheaper than in town, same goes for drinks. Bar is little used at night. Supermarkets within a 10 min walk. There is a steep road from the main gate up to the rooms but anyone of average fitness wont find it a problem. Gardens are very nice.15 min walk into town downhill and 4 euro taxi back. My only complaint would be that sound travels between the apartment walls very easily. We had some very nice girls staying next door to us and we were awakened every night with them coming back in the early hours and they were just talking in high spirits which is fair enough. It wasnt their fault, so I would strongly reccommend using ear plugs. All in all excellent value for money and I would definitely go again.

My daughter and i have just returned from a great two weeks at these apartments, I cant recommend them enough! I have travelled to lindos before as i have friends who live there but this was my 1st visit at the Lambis & on my own with a 4yr old so i was a bit aprehensive about the whole holiday! I need'nt have worried, the room was large and clean, with effective air con, plenty of hot water, a bath and even a little hairdryer! The pool was spotless and an essential relief from the 38degree heat, my little girl played for hours in and around the pool area, there's a small play area tucked in the corner which was handy and plenty of access to ice creams, cold drinks, food and shade at the bar/taverna on site. I was a little unsure of how my 4yr old would cope with the walk into lindos but it wasnt bad at all, it took us on average 15mins from the aptm to the square in lindos & i quickly found taxis back were a good idea at only 4 euros! It was very hot so we only walked down early morning or late evening and you could always stop half way as there's plenty of places to get shade and drinks on either of the 2 routes in to town! The apartments are quite modern, staggered around the pool and up the hill behind so you could have a small hike but its beautifully planted and looked after, infact i think it should have been called the oasis!
I must mention michael the evening barman who was a total sweety and made sure we had a lovely time making our way through the cocktail list! We made plenty of friends there (even the maids!) and im now planning to go back to the lambis next year, everyone i met staying there said the same so book early!!
michael, i hope my mythos is waiting for me at the bar along with a smile!! xxx

We got back from Rhodes yesterday and thought I’d write this review for others going this year. We flew out on the 9th May and got back on the 16th.

We really liked the Lambis. There is building work going on but it must have quietened down from the review below as we were never woken up by it. We were woken up by the donkeys though.

The apartments are very clean and nice. They are not luxurious but they are a very good standard for Greece. We were up the ramp on the left which was quite steep but we managed it and my calves feel like steel. The swimming pool was very clean and there were always plenty of sunbeds available. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner a couple of times there and each meal was lovely. They serve very big portions and at a good price. We did drink there a few nights and found Michael quiet but friendly. We also got some alcohol from the supermarket and sat on the balcony overlooking the lovely gardens and water features having a drink or playing cards. There is a tea towel, glasses, plates, knifes, chopping boards, saucepans, kettle and toaster. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom but there is no iron. There was always hot water and the shower was quite powerful. The TV has some English speaking channels but we weren’t in the room much to watch it.

The rooms are cleaned every day except Sunday and the towels and sheets were changed on the Saturday when we were there. I’m assuming they would also change them on the Wednesday. I think that the towels need to be changed a little more often but we just hung them on the rack outside and aired them.

The only thing I didn’t really like is that the beds are two singles pushed together and they do slide apart quite easily.

Insect repellent is a must in Greece – I have been bitten quite a bit, although my husband wasn’t.

The apartments are a 15 minute walk away from town – we found that the easiest way into town was to turn right out of the apartment and follow the road around until you get to the main road and turn right at the main road and follow this round until you get to a bar called Lindos reception which will be on your right and turn left through the car park and follow the streets into town. We found this easier and less steep than the road down to the town opposite the supermarkets. To get to the supermarkets you should turn right out of the Lambis and follow the road until you reach a donkey enclosure on the left and a set of apartments in front of the (the Lindos view) – there is a gravel track down the side of the apartments – follow that and then the road round to the main road – then you will find the supermarkets. We found Flora cheaper than the other one.

We did a number of trips – the Rhodes Island Tour, the jeep safari and capital encounter. The Rhodes island tour was good and you got to see a lot of the island – we went right round the south, east, most of the north and the west. However you do have to pay for entrance fees on top of the price you pay for the trip. They try and make you go to this taverna for lunch which we did but it wasn’t brilliant and I’d recommend you go somewhere else in the lunch break. We did the jeep safari two days after the island tour. I wouldn’t recommend you do both – we did a lot of the same things but enjoyed the jeep safari more. The guys running it were great and you can tell they were enjoying themselves. They take you to prassonisi which is where the Aegean and the Med meet. Luckily for us the seas were out so we could drive down the beach and look back at Rhodes – it was lovely. Then we had lunch on a deserted beach where the guys from the company have built a shack and give you a great lunch of feta, bread, salad, olives and ouzo. On both the safari and the island tour you do wine tasting and suma and honey tasting but at different places.

The capital encounter was OK. We didn’t like the new town of Rhodes town – the old town is much better. The palace of the Grand Masters is amazing and well worth a visit. If you are student take your student card as you can get in free to a number of the ruins/sites etc. We got this trip free because we went and paid for two others.

The rep does charge more than the company in town – anything from 3 -10 euros cheaper. The taverna night is 44 from the rep and 38 in town.

The tours pick you up at Lindos View – turn right out of the apartments, follow the road round and turn left at the main road and walk down to the Lindos View entrance.

We flew with first choice who were OK. We got exit seats going out by asking at check in but we didn’t at check in in Greece – they asked us to pay, but the seats were empty on the flight back so we were allowed to move to them. We are both quite tall and within 10 Min's of sitting in the seat I had dents in my knees so I’m glad we moved to exit seats. Food was OK and service very good.

Lindos is beautiful, very peaceful and lovely. We were there early in the season so it was quite quiet. Places I would recommend to eat are Acropolis (restaurant owned by the owners of the Lambis) – this was the best meal we had, Kalypso and Alex’s. We didn’t rate odesseya much. Ambrosia looked lovely but we didn’t have a chance to eat in there. We drank cocktails at Yannis Bar and the staff there were lovely – there were two in particular Thaso and Leonedas who pretended to be Spartans for us when we found out Leonedas’ name (from the 300). However the cocktails are quite expensive. We also had cocktails at Bizantyne which were cheaper than Yannis and just as nice.

The acropolis is amazing. We walked up and it really wasn’t as bad as we thought it might be and is well worth the trip up.

I hoped this helped. Lambis Studios are great and if Rhodes was a bigger Island then we would go back there but we now feel we’ve done most of Rhodes and so it’s not worth going back.

We arrived back in the uk today and both wish we could have stayed at the lambis studio for longer.

The studios were spotless a credit to the staff although at times they were a little eager to have us up and out of the room so that they could change the sheets etc.. not so good when you've had one too many the night before.

The gardens and surroundings were beautifull we had an amazing view of the acropolis and the sea from our room.
The pool bar was the centre for the studios there was no reception but the staff at the bar were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble for them and they often took the role of the holiday rep who was scarcely seen. The food from the bar was basic but delicious and reasonably priced.

We would certainly visit lindos again and seriously cosider staying at Lambis studios- Excellent!

Be warned that there are 2 lambis studios. one with a pool and one without. if you decide to go here choose the one with the pool. We learnt the hard way!

We booked last year as part of a family holiday as my sister was getting married. She and her husband to be stayed in the Atrium Palace in Kalathos(fabulous place). We on the other hand stayed in the lambis studios without a pool. Be warned that it wasn't a very enjoyable experience. Upon arrival we were shown to are room (which was in a maze) which didn't seem to bad until my other sister and her family asked us to go to their room so they could show us something. Upon entering their room i was physically bawking because of the putrid smell. It was a mixture of cat urine and mouldy food. There was a wooden board propped up against the wall so curious george here decides to move it to see what's behind it( was not screwed in or stuck to the wall) and to my horror and disbelief there was a hole in the wall full of a flurry of cockroaches, cats(yes live ones in the room) hedgehogs, a lizard, millipedes and many more insects crawling around in their. There was a chunk of mouldy bread on the floor and the most dust iv'e ever seen in my life. Im going to be honnest, it was a dump.

All 6 of us ended up staying in my room which only had 2 single beds so you can imagine what a night we had. Trying to fing the rep was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. when we did bump in to her and asked to be moved she suggested Faliraki. why on earth would i come to lindos for a family wedding to then be moved to Faliraki without the rest of the family. So for the 2 whole weeks i cried myself to sleep (on the floor) as i got kicked out of the bed by the kids and wished i could go home. The only reason stopping me was that my sisters wedding wasnt until the 2nd week.

If your'e nott a cat lover the be warned now that there is in total about 20 cats that sit outside your door all day!

Linen got changed once a week( not good when you've got 2 messy kids dirtying everything and only 4 towels (2 large and 2 small). Toilet paper didn't get renewed at any point so make sure you buy some.

All in all it was not a very enjoyable holiday and i will not be returning anytime soon! Be warned!

I can't convey in words how wonderful this place is. We arrived at Lambis Studios at 5.30am, very tired but also very pleased. The gardens are beautiful, with a man-made waterfall by the higher apartments and a view of the acropolis. The rooms were a good size and kept spotless.

We were a mixed group and our ages ranged from 3-68yrs and everyone enjoyed themselves,we all agreed that if we go back to Lindos, we’d stay at the Lambis again as these are the best self-catering apartments we’ve stayed at…

There's a welcome meeting on the first day at the pool bar, we booked the Greek evening excursion for 42 euro’s each, which while it was enjoyable it seemed over priced considering the quality of the food (an apple for your desert..!!)

The poolside bar serves ice-cold beer (Alfa), which tastes VERY NICE. They serve a good selection food, which is very well priced. Myself and 2 other members of our party are vegetarians and were a little worried as to whether we would be catered for, but we were and very nice the food was too. (Most places in Lindos town also cater for veggies).

The evening bar man (we called him John) is a credit to the place; he was so friendly and always made a point of chatting and asking how we were.

There is the main beach in Lindos, which is nice, but we found St. Pauls bay just that little bit better – less noisy, prettier and less crowded.
Rhodes town is an hour away on the bus and cost only 4 euros.

I would recommend these apartments to anyone – however if you aren’t a good walker you may be best getting taxi’s. The town and St. Pauls Bay is only about a 15 minute stroll, however a taxi will cost 5 euro’s and really easies the legs…

These studios are situated on the outskirts of Lindos, they are kept very clean, the grounds are beautifully landscaped, the staff are very helpful. Air con 50euro's per week. safety deposit 10 euro's per week, late checkout 20 euro's .

Everything that has been written previously about these studios is true they are faultless.

The walk back and forth to Lindos kills the legs at first but a taxi is only 5euros if you can't take the muscle pull.

Nearest supermarket is the Flora, take a right out of the studios follow the road around and take the dirt track behind the Lindos View apartments follow around to the right and the Flora is on your left about 5mins from the studios.

We would definitely return to this accommodation.

If you're thinking about visiting Lindos, I would really recommend the Lambis Studios - they are fab! We had a studio for 2 and it was much bigger than I expected, even came with washing up liquid and tea towel! Its a 10-15 minute walk into the village but the walk back isnt that tough if you are reasonable fit & well.
When I go back to Lindos - I'll definately be staying at the Lambis
Enjoy!

We have just come back from this complex it is spotless.

The rooms are lovely. The gardens are a credit to the gardener you feel like you are in a hotel not apartments.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the food is very nice and a good price.

The pool is good size and you dont have to save sunbeds cause there are lots of them.

On arrival to Lambis Studios you are greeted by a slope with beautifully maintained gardens either side.
The first thing you will notice is how clean the entire place looks. There are no scrap doors/sunbeds/etc lying around (like at Lindos View, down the road).

The views are fantastic, you can even see the Acropolis!!
The apartments are quite large and cleaned 6 days a week. I can safely say these were the best apartments I have stayed in whilst on self catering holiday.

The staff here are a great laugh and extremely helpful. HOWEVER the holiday REP was no-where to be found and when we did see him/her, they were busy on their mobile phones or selling those over-priced excursions(doing these things by yourself will save you at least 50%)
anyway...HOTEL staff were great.

Ppparently they have a quiz, bingo and BBQ on Sundays, but this was cancelled during our 2 week stay due to lack of interest. AGAIN those REPS doing their job eh..!!!

Food at the hotel is great, not a massive selection but great non-the-less. I would REALLY recommend the Swordfish, mm mmm mmmmmm. I'm salivating thinking about it!!

The studios are located in the hills of Lindos, which provide a welcomed gentle breeze. There were a few young couples getting taxis to and from the town centre, but to be honest your just LAZY if you don't walk, it takes 5-10 minutes, which is tan building time!!

The Pool and Bar area are fantastic, great to spend an afternoon lazing by the pool drinking ice-cold beer. mmmm great!!

We have just returned (17th August) from a wonderful week at The Lambis Studios. The studios were more than big enough for us, well equipped and very clean, the pool is kept immaculate and the gardens set in the grounds are absolutely beautiful.

There is a breathtaking waterfall behind the front set of apartments. The Gardner is so proud of his work and he has every right to be as they are outstanding. We were walking around for a couple of minutes lost, as we arrived by taxi, trying to find the reception area, it's the pool/snack bar!!

The staff are really kind and friendly and go out of their way to help you. Its a small complex which makes it really friendly and after a couple of days everyone was on first name terms with all the kids playing together. It is fenced in and the main gate makes quite a big bang if its opened so your safe in the knowledge that kids can't get out unnoticed.

There are plenty of Sun beds around the pool for everyone and lilo's and bits are all supplied by the complex.

The food at the bar is really quite good, we only had lunch there but many people said the evening meals were nice and when you compare menus to those in the town it's all pretty much alike.

There is only one night of entertainment and thats on a Sunday night when they have a bar-b-q, quiz and bingo!!, the barby food is really nice.

The guy that owns The Lambis also owns The Acropolis Restaurant in Lindon Town. The views of The Acropolis from the apartments are lovely and it's only a 10 minute walk to the Supermarket.
Lambis do not stock any everyday supplies but they do change money up.

This is the first holiday we have been on and genuinely did't want to come home. We would recommend The Lambis to anyone.

After firstly reading the reviews posted here, we must admit we were worried as to which Lambis Studios we were staying at.

Thankfully it was the best of the 2, arriving at dawn gave us a breathtaking view of the Acropolis and set our expectations high.

We were not to be disappointed, the room was the largest self catering accomodation we have been in since we began our tour of the Greek Islands 4 years ago. Plenty of "living" space and a huge bathroom, with a good shower over a bath (no flooding floors, a little slow to run away), plenty of hot water and a good supply of toilet paper (so no dashing out to the shops!)There is even a hairdryer in the bathroom, so less luggage. Linen changes twice and daily, bins emptied and a general tidy (I feel for the cleaners hauling the linen up the fairly steep hill on their trolley!)

The kitchen equipment was more than adequate, good crockery, kettle and toaster. There was even a TV available if you got bored!!

The pool area was fantastic, they even got in more sunbeds whilst we were there, plenty of room for you to follow the sun around, basic snack bar offering a good selection at what we considered a reasonable price.

Yes there is a steep hill up to the accomodation, but trust me you get used to it and there is the dawn and dusk chorus of the donkeys, but that just adds to the novelty.

A wonderful place with magnificent views, quiet and very friendly. I'm just about to book for next year, only this time for 2 weeks!!

Finally, although we didn't leave for the airport until 1.05 in the morning, the owner kept the bar open until we left and there are toilets available for a quick wash and brush up before you leave, great!!!

We were at the Lambis studios from end of July until early August and have just returned. It was one of the best Greek holiday's we've ever had - and we've had a few!!

Our daughter was kept happy as she made a friend on the first day and they swam virtually all day long.

The staff were courteous, reliable and friendly.

The food was limited, as it was really a snack bar, but very good standards. Bet they'll miss us as we virtually cleaned them out of the peach iced tea (Liptons) which Miek and Ellie both become addicted to.

The apartment was clean, spacious and had a bath as well as a shower - a real treat in Greece. Air conditioning was lovely; there were no water shortages or hot water running out, and the weather was truly superb.

We were out in the sticks a bit, as the walk to the town was quite a hike, but all in all a very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable time. There was often an evening chorus of sheep and donkeys, which was quite something, seeing as we were in a dip on the hillside, with great acoustics!

The room we had (no 45) was quiet and relaxing, and there wasn't a larger lout in sight.

We will definitely go back as we felt very much at home.

This hotel was great!!

It was a small and friendly and you could get a sun bed at any time of the day.

The food at hotel was good for a snack bar and the grounds and rooms were very clean.

It is however a ten minute walk from the centre but you can catch a bus which is free and runs every 10 minutes. however after 10pm the bus stops and there is a bit of a walk back up the hill.

This is the fourth time this year I have visited Lindos, and the first and last time with Libra Holidays.

These studios are not to be confused with another Lambis apartments just out of the village which are totally different and modern and new.

The Lambis studios in the village of Lindos are about the worst I have seen anywhere. We went with friends who had a separate studio which was not as bad as ours although very basic.

Our studio was lower ground i.e. basement, in a filthy condition the bathroom was unspeakable, with broken toilet seat and very smelly. The bedroom had dirty bedding, was dark and airless. The kitchen we just didn’t use as the fridge was so dirty both inside and out. There was various broken furniture. No storage except for a wardrobe. Luckily we managed to borrow a fan to use as the place was so airless.

Having stayed in various village studios, this was the only one that was so appalling. We asked Libra holidays to move us, bearing in mind we went out of season, and the village was no way booked up, they made no effort to move us to another part of the village where they have other studios.

Our holiday was not ruined because we love Lindos and know everybody there. My daughter was living in Lindos for the season, and her studio was 5-star luxury compared to ours!

Warning - don’t use Libra there are many other reputable companies and Libra just are not one of them!

This is a very honest opinion. I am thoroughly surprised at the reviews listed below. Having just returned from these apartments I feel it is my duty to warn others on their condition.

Arriving at our apartments, we found them to be uncleaned. Absolutely filthy to be honest. We were told that cleaners came twice per week, but as things run on (GMT - Greek Maybe Time), our rep could not track them down.

There was no pool.

Sheets were stained and disgusting.

Bathroom door would not shut, and with the sanitation system in greece not being what it should be, this was highly unhygenic.

To be fair and honest, I would not recomment these apartments to anyone. They are the worst I have ever seen. I expected basic but not dirt.

I'm surprised these ever got passed as suitable.

Needless to say, I will never be back and never use Libra Holidays again.

On the exterior the hotel looks great, but behind the furniture / under the sheets it was dirty.

This is only our experience as other holiday makers found their rooms very clean. We found a rat living in our room, a very dirty / stained spare bed & rat urine / droppings on & under furniture & in the drawers.

Due to the rat, we were forced out of our room, leaving us nowhere to sleep for the night, the manager seemed quite happy for us to either find our own acommodation at 3.00am or sleep by the pool on the sun loungers.

Thankfully a family put us up in their room (the kids slept on the floor!. Problems may have been rectified buy now (hopefully!). Tour operator / rep - offered good advice etc but service from staff / manager led alot to be desired!!!

Although we encountered problems we met loads of great people and had a good time, minus the two / three days that were spent sorting out our problem.

When we first arrived it was early hours of the morning, the whole place was lit up and first impression was brilliant.the room was very clean looking and was cleaned daily.the food available was ok for lunch menu although you would have o go else where for a little variety.location of the hotel was abit of away from most things but it was peaceful and a taxi was always avilable.the staff could speak basic english which helped alot.we were abit disapointed that if we wanted air con we had to pay 50euros for the week.entertainment wa limited so a trip into lindos village is a must

The studio was awesome. It was vey relaxing and breath-taking. The hotel room was cleaned on a regular basis, so there was no sign of dirt.

The food was phenomenal, well worth the money. It was all done to perfection and cooked well. The location was the best part.

It had a view of the whole town and the sea. It made Greece look a lokk nicer than what it looks like in the book.

The staff were very helpful and done everything they could to help. There was one barmaid in particular that was very friendly and helpful. Her name began with 'G'.

The entertainment was okay, but the point of this studio is to relax, but you can never get bored. I would definetley visit this place again, oh and you get an amazing tan.

Having been going to Greece since 1979 I can honestly say that this accommodation is the best we've stayed in. Everything about it was great from cleanliness to standard of rooms and furniture.

I don’t see how anybody could give this a bad review unless thery're looking for Blackpool with sun!

We came out to Rhodes to be married and were not disappointed.

The complex is very good for what it is. A good base for familys who want to spend most time around a pool. The fixtures and fittings are so good in the rooms that it is not Greece. G-Plan units, TV, all the plugs and shower curtains you could wish for. The staff are friendly. The gardens superb, he must put millions of gallons on water on o keep them that green. It is on the Hill above Lindos so 15 mins walk down and 2 mins back in taxi. Beer in the bar Draft Alpha 3 Euros for 400ml, a bit pricey, but the snacks for the Kids were not too bad. (Not that we had any Kids with us.)

Apartments are lovely. Spacious, modern and clean with beautiful gardens and pool. Each has a balcony and most have a great view of Lindos Acropolis. They are a 20 min walk to the village but the roads are good and it was only 3 euros in a taxi back up. There is no entertainment except for music in the poolside bar which can be quite loud at night but generally quite a quiet resort. Air conditioning and safe in the room but at an extra charge, we found we didn't need the a/c anyway.

The staff were extremely helpful, they entertained the children.

The food was good although we only had lunch, prices were excellent. There was not a great choice for dinner so we ate out.

The rooms were so clean the sheets were changed almost every day. We were even welcomed with a vase of flowers in our room.

The location was lovely and the children enjoyed seeing the sheep and goats pass by every day.

There was no entertainment as such so we would go to the hotel down the road.

We really enjoyed our stay and would go again.

We have just returned from the lambis studios, Lindos, Rhodes. The apartments were excellent, extremly clean and modern. The staff were helpful at all times and really friendly. The food served at the poolside bar was great and offered a wide range to suit all tastes. Although Lindos centre was a little way away, local taxis were always avalible to take you where you wanted to go. The pool at the apartments was great, clean with a relaxing atmosphere. Although there was no entertainment at the apartments we will definatley be returning again soon!
