Last minute booking & pleasantly surprised. Lovely hotel, although 'up the hill' from Veronicas, it provides a quiet place to sleep within easy reach of entertainment. Not much in the way of hotel entertainment - usually all over by 10pm and not loud. Couples or group hotel.

Excellent pool - cleaned morning and night.

The staff are lovely people, phoned for taxis (no charge) helped with any enquiry, rooms kept very well, changes of sheets, towels - excellent.

We went B&B, the choice of food in the morning was very good, everything you could think of - the usual cold meats & cheese but also bacon, eggs (scrambled or fried)& beans, cereals, fruits, make your own toast etc.

We were on the 6th floor (7 in all) and had a wonderful view over La Gomera, wonderful sitting watching the sun going down with a glass of wine!

Booked a week half board in a studio apartment as it was almost as cheap as booking self catering and we wanted to be near my parents staying at the Palm Beach. Never ate the evening meal as we prefer to try different restaurants each night, but the breakfasts were filling with plenty of choice.

The hotel was very clean, our room had a kitchenette with kettle, toaster and microwave, and fridge with freezer compartment. There was a double bed and a cane table with 2 chairs inside and a table and chairs on the balcony. There was a lovely view accross PDL and out to sea....

The location was perfect for us, out of the hustle and bustle but near enough to bars and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and reception staff spoke excellent English which was a relief when there was a mix up with our prebooked transfer and the driver spoke no English at all!

The majority of guests are from Scandinavia, with a few German and French guests. Aparently they only have about five British guests staying at any one time, as they do not take tour operatr bookings from the UK. We didn't bother with the entertainment but would guess it will be geared to the package hol guests.

We enjoyed staying here, we used it as a base so didn't make full use of the facilities but have booked again for 07!

We booked this hotel direct for our New Year break. Unfortunately for us this was the wrong choice of hotel, there was absolutely nothing in terms of entertainment for our daughter along and the other 20 or so children staying there.

Although the hotel was very clean the choice of food was abysmal; we are not ones for complaining but on this occasion we did along with many of the other nationalities i.e. German, Scandinavian and Italians also complained regarding the choice of food. Chicken and two choices of veg or fish and two veg.

The entertainment was non-existent apart from the residential singer and pianist.

We would not recommend this hotel to families.

Was very impressed with this hotel! It looked good and had a nice size pool, which was well maintained. Cleaners were excellent: clean towels every day and they done your dishes for you (when left in the sink). Also, they made your bed every day, always had clean sheets and sometimes they even folded your clothes. You also had a card you could put outside your room if you didn't want them to come (this is good if you wanted a long lie) and on the otherside of the card said to clean your room (they cleaned room anyway if you didn't put it outside your room).

There was air conditioning and a TV in your room - however not many British channels! Our room, as it was self catering had a fridge, microvave, hob and toaster. We had a pool view (think all of the rooms had a pool view though). The hotel also had internet access and telephones in the reception area. Not much on the entertainment side when we went, think it was just beggining to start at the end of June, just as we were leaving. There was also security guards on all the time.

On our leaving day rooms had to be vacated at 1200, our flight wasn't until 1900 so we went to the beach. We asked for a courtesy room, which was provided and we didn't have a time limit on it which was very good! There was also a luggage room.

Never ate in the restaurant so cant report on that, but it looked good! Hangers were also provided in wardrobe and there was a saftey deposit box in the room. Theres a small charge on the saftey deposit box, however it is worth getting.

The hotel is next to a restaurant called "Playboy", despite the name, this restaurant was really nice and the food was lovely.

Overall We were both delighted with the accommodation and the area it was situated in!!
