Stayed at Paraiso Floral in November 06 and was looking forward to staying here again - not disappointed just as we remembered - quite location which we knew but just what we needed for a relaxing break before christmas - excellant hotel bargain for all inclusive - rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels - staff all very friendly - entertainment was the same as last year but again good especially if you have children - cant wait to come back next year!!!!

Having booked this holiday in a very quiet resort without a decent beach, knowing it is one of, if not the very cheapest all inclusive in the Canary Islands firmly embedded at the back of my mind I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. Whisked off to the dining area prior to check in to ensure we all got something to eat, (which was a worry from previous reviews expecting to be trawling the resort for a last minute pizza somewhere!)

Hotel Cleanliness - Huge hotel with 17 floors, the reception area okay but a bit shabby. Stairwells and corridors a bit like what you would imagine Her Majesty's Prisons to look like. 4 lifts that only took 6 people at a time and were soooooo slow, must be even worse in full season. The rooms were okay however very unsafe for kids. We were on the 14th floor with a lovely view but a horrendous 300 foot drop to the floor. We kept the balcony doors shut and barricaded with room furniture for the holiday to keep the kids off it. The maids did come in every day to make the beds and change the towels - that’s all they did though they won’t sweep or mop the floor.

Hotel Food - Plenty of choice, breakfast - bacon sausage egg tomatoes beans toast cereal, continental, more than enough. Hot and cold buffet lunch with plenty of choices, Dinner, again huge amount of choices enough not to have the same meal twice in the 2 weeks we were there. Daytime snacks very limited to pizza chips and a variation between hot dogs and hamburgers or chickenburgers. What let the food down was the amount of flies around the bread and fruit (especially at lunch time) and the all inclusive snack bar. The hot dogs were in effect being cooled and reheated continually throughout the day with staff just pouring bottled water on them to keep them moist. It doesn’t take an expert in food hygiene to realise what the consequences of that could be.

Location - We were happy with the peace and quiet and booked the hotel because of the lack of beach and no bars and drunken yobs you would associate with PDLA etc. It is well advertised on the internet sites when you book it is very very quiet so expect it.

Hotel staff - this is where the hotel really lets itself down which will become apparent when I explain later in the review a number of incidents that occurred when we were there.

Entertainment - Typical cheesy fiesta entertainment mainly done by Momo from Morocco and Hane from Germany. Very funny people who expect you to clap every three minutes to Momos shouts of "APPLAUSE!!" Mini Club for the kids run by Katja and Nicola. The kids loved it, went every day for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Evening entertainment starts with a mini disco for the kids and the infamous many language bingo afterwards. They alternate cash prizes usually about 200 euros - depends how many play, with naff digital cameras the next night. All the outside acts were very good, even the snake show and parrot show which are as always in the main trying to make money by letting your kids be photographed with the animals.

Anyway, a number of bad things happened whilst we were there that spoiled our holiday in the first week.

On the first few days somebody decided to go to the loo in the pool and looking at the size of what was floating in it, it wasn’t a child..Straight out of the pool expecting it to be cleaned professionally. Nope - they scooped it out and opened the pool straight away. The lifeguard was arguing with the management as he wanted it closing until the next day but the manager wouldn’t have it. We kept out of the pool until the next day however it possibly could have been too late.
The lifeguard Dominic is very friendly and hates inflatable boats / animals so don’t even consider buying one at the shop you will waste your money. A really nice guy but I don’t think a lifeguard should really be sat listening to an ipod and chatting, which was proved in our last few days when a young lad got out of his depth without armbands and had to be rescued by another young girl and an adult guest. Keep an eye on them because he is not always watching.

Don’t know if it was the pool or the food or the flies myself, my wife, my 8 yr old and 6 yr old then spent the next 2 days very unwell with vomiting and the squits. We nearly came home because our 10 month old got a fever and could not keep any food down. Nearly everyone else we met at the hotel in the first week had had similar incidents to report. You also have to travel 12km to a doctor which will cost you the taxi fare, if you call one out to the hotel it will cost you 60 euros and you WONT be able to claim it back on your European health card.

The dining hall staff are the worst, they seem to think they are being quick and efficient hanging over you whilst you eat to whisk your plate away when you finish your last mouthful - rude and quite intimidating to me. One of the bar staff in the dining area got very drunk one day and started chanting "coke" "7-up" repeatedly, fell over and knocked the cups flying nearly knocking the stack of wine glasses next to the wine cooler to the floor or the children on the other side of the bar. Very reminiscent of fawlty towers but not as funny.

During the first week we found it very difficult to get a 6 seater table for all of us and were berated very quickly and aggressively by staff for moving tables together to be with each other. I could see no reason why not, apart from plain awkwardness.

It will not matter if you present them with the standard please and thankyous in Spanish. They do not care and give the impression you are simply being a pain by being in their hotel. With the exception of Ms JESUS and CARLOS who did always have a smile and an Ola for the kids.

Another annoying set of circumstances also occurred in the first few days and it involved the bar staff in the sunset lounge. You will find that the first few vodka / white rum based drinks you have will be quite strong. I noticed about an hour before the all inclusive ends these drinks were becoming very watered down and eventually receiving a water and coke. We couldn’t work out why they were doing it, also to other English tourists, but after 3 nights of it I sternly confronted the bar staff who apologised and said they were having a joke. A final complaint to the TUI rep ensured it never happened again to me but then it started again with newer arrivals. Apparently it is some joke between the waiters and the local Spanish who sit around the bar area to see who notices the lack of spirits in their drinks. So keep your wits about you and don’t put up with it. They also expect a tip every time you go to the bar but I never bothered tipping again after the incident.

The same bar is where the dance floor and seating area is for the evening’s entertainment. Loads of kids around so you would expect it to be a safe place. Nope! The glass collectors push these 3 tiered trolleys everywhere stacked with glasses, unfortunately one night a waiter parked his trolley right next to our baby's pushchair and smashed a glass off the trolley showering him inside his pushchair in slivers of broken glass. The main part of the glass narrowly missing his face. Without any help from the waiter who just pushed my wife aggressively out of the way we managed to get the baby out strip him of all his clothes which had to be thrown out and upstairs to the room where he was put under the shower to get rid of the glass. No apology, no help and they did not even attempt to clean up the broken glass in either the pushchair or the floor. I was not happy as you could imagine and went to see the waiter concerned who by this time had hid in the kitchen and removed his name tag so I could not get his name to make a complaint. Thankfully for us, there were a group of guests who had seen what happened and had already noticed his name. A complaint has been submitted to Fiesta and TUI but as yet I have not heard anything. Was he drunk like the previous days member of staff - we will never know.
Thank you to all those guests who helped us that night, but not to the bar manager who accused me of lying about what had happened and refused to come and see all the glass in the pushchair.

That’s the bad things that happened to us, but I’m sure there will be other reviews from other disgruntled guests for the following:

A family were wondering what the smell was in their room and discovered human excrement in / under their furniture indicating how well they actually clean the rooms, another family woke to find the bed crawling with cockroaches. Another family with an 11 year old daughter with cerebral palsy had to suffer the aggression of the dining hall staff when the mother asked for a tray to take her breakfast to her, physically throwing it at the mother. The same girl suffered repeated pointing and laughing from Spanish staff and guests because of the way she walked. I personally saw evidence of this and was physically sickened by what I saw. It wasn’t just the odd person either - this was the Spanish people.

Halfway through our 2 weeks it was a Spanish holiday and 400 Spanish guests descended on the hotel filling it to capacity and things changed for the worse. Previous abundance of sun beds and parasols - gone....20 minute wait for the lifts....no seats in the dining hall...no seats in the sunset lounge......queues everywhere - except in the dining hall because the Spanish have no idea of queuing - ever seen how pigs act when their trough is being filled with swill? That was lunch at the floral over the weekend. The 11 year old cerebral palsy girl I mentioned earlier? - pushed to the ground by a Spanish adult to get the last jelly cubes. Entertainments team? Ordered by the manager not to play any more English music in the evening - Spanish only. Chaos that lasted Saturday until Monday. We spent most days in the Lido which was empty during this time. The only benefit of having the Spanish stay at the hotel was that the quality of food and choice of food increased even further and surprise surprise we were suddenly allowed to put the tables together in the dining room - as the Spanish were grabbing 12 at a time for their feasts at the back of the room. Very obvious one rule for us and others for them and they did definitely not want to upset their home team guests. Plate clearing stopped with Spanish guests filling their plates to capacity and only eating half what they had chosen, what a waste! and then moving to another table for dessert because the table was so cluttered!!.
No flies either whist the Spanish were there!

After they left it was back to normal and what a relief. This holiday for my wife and I was fantastic because and only because of the other guests that were there. Well represented by Scotland, Liverpool, the North East, Yorkshire, Poland, Germany, France and Italy without the Spanish, Id like to say thank you and hello to Rab and family, John and Family, Steve and Sally, Steve and Marie, Barry, Tony and family, all from the early days to the latter guests, Brian Carol and Tricia, Brenda and Co, Rosemary, Nicola, Sophie and Louis, Kenny (number 1!) and family, Darren and family, Keith and family, Steven and family, Mark and family, Charlie and family, leaving it all in the hands of Ben and Co, Chris and family. I hope the late night drinking club continued to the end! I’ve never been on holiday and met such a lovely bunch of people who can be very proud of their children and how well we all behaved and got on. The children were crying on the way to the airport, set off by you all waving us goodbye from reception.

Would I go back to this hotel, the kids would go tomorrow because they see it through different eyes, personally myself, not on your Nelly. The food is good but proved could be much better with the Spanish arrivals, the entertainment team are fantastic, cleanliness average, customer service nil and health and safety non existent.

Resort - yes I would return, possibly to the Fiesta Oasis. Thompson’s Rep - Brilliant, but very busy with complaints.

In conclusion, a fly’s whisker from being a holiday from hell in the first week saved by the entertainments team and the choice of food, turning into sociably the best holiday yet but only because of who we were with, not where we were.

We arrived at this hotel at 10.30pm at night to find out that there was no provision for food for all of us who had been travelling since lunchtime. We basically had to rush to the bar to join queues as it took around 20 to 30 mins to get served everytime as everyone had worked out they could get at least 6 drinks each so it took ages.

Thanks to the Brittannia Inn up the road we managed to get a pizza which they ordered for our little boy or he wouldn't have neen able to have anything to eat at all!

The rooms were extremely basic - you even have to pay to get the remote control - there was basically beds and a broken run down fitted wardrobe. However there was a bath which was nicer than having to have showers all the time.

You have to pay at the bar if you want a bottle of water to take to your room for throughout the night - 2 euros for a 2 litre bottle - go to the supermarket over the road, you get a 5 litre bottle for only one and a half euros.

The rooms were cleaned daily, and the entertainment was a higher standard than most, with outside shows coming in to entertain on an evening.

The one thing I couldn't fault was the food - as good as any 4 star hotel I have stayed in.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel, it is more like 2 star for its facilities

What can i say about this hotel, after reading some of the reviews I was a little worried but let me tell you this hotel was absolutely fantastic, loved every minute of it.

The rooms were adequate, the hotel maids were brilliant, room cleaned and towels changed every day.

Food was nice, liked breakfast the most, menu varied and a carvery on most nights. Gets a bit repetitive but always hot. Nice salad bar and free beer and wine on tap!!

The pool area was lovely and clean and the best bit was the gate to the pool wasn't unlocked until 9am so no having to get up at the crack of dawn to bag a sunbed. Snacks were ok, sandwiches, fruit, chips, pizza, hotdogs etc outside restaurant hours and free ice-cream and lollies for the kids from 10-6.

The animation team were the best by none, remco, tobi, katja and kate work really hard try to get you to join in, but not pushy if you just want to laze by the pool. Katja and Kate ran the kids club 2 hours am and 2 hours pm, brilliant, they saw more of my kids then I did. never worried about them because they took such good care of them. My girls cried when we were leaving. The evening entertainment was brill started with the mini disco, then bingo you could win up to 200 euros(but we didn't unfortunately!)then the certificates and medals, after that there was always a show or karaoke.

The bar staff were brill, could get 10 yes 10!! drinks at a time when they got to know you, which helped alot cos the queues got abit longer on the second week, never waited more than 10 Min's though.

If you tip them them they ring a bell and a polite please and thank you never go a miss. All in all a fab holiday and would definitely return.

Please don't let other reviews put you off, your holiday is what you make it, if you're reading this book it now!!!

Arrived mid-day - lovely welcome - initially disappointed with hotel room - appeared very basic - very large though - had separate double bedroom.
Booked relevant tours with reps. Water park is all salt/sea water. We got a bit of a shock - dolphin & whale show was good.
The kids club was held at a different hotel - not far but became a bit of a pain - kids didn't use it as much as they would if it had been in same hotel.
Extremely quiet resort - few shops, bars, restaurants - there's one street - that's it. If you just want to stay round hotel - this is the holiday for you.
One of our children was ill - the receptionist sorted everything out & doctor there for us within 20 mins - which I thought was amazing. The medication was 'very cheap'.
The hotel, the facilities, the entertainment were all good & catered for all different needs.
Also they had bingo in about 5 different languages - quite good prize money - unfortunately we didn't win!
The food was always nice, hot, good choices & well presented.
Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff - the maids, bar staff & receptionist all very helpful.
If going down to the lido or any of the booked trips - book a packed lunch the day before at reception. Veggie option was better though.

We paid the extra supplement for a larger family room and boy was it worth it.

We were on the 14th floor (really the 13th but they are superstitious)...

The room was HUGE..... we had tons of space ..

The balcony view was fantastic....we had a 180 degree view...

Absolutely stunning!!

Stayed at this hotel in December 06, found the hotel to be spotlessly clean. Rooms a decent size, we were given a suite rather than a room although its called a family room. Had 2 bedrooms and a lounge area which was lovely. Rooms cleaned and towels changed every day.

Can't fault the food. Plenty of choice and something for everyone.

Entertainment was varied every night and pleased most people. All in all a great holiday and a hotel I would return too.

The hotel was clean and the rooms are big.

The food was poor and always cold. The resort is not good, no beach, very few shops and only about 2 half decent bars.

The hotel staff were pleasant and very efficient and polite. Not the same can be said for the 'entertainment' reps....very very agressive, on more that one occasion we heard them threatening to punch people and swearing at guests. We overheard the head rep bragging that they have a competition running to see who gets the most complaints!

The 'entertainment was rubbbish. On the night of the Parrot show the reps made the kids sit in a designated area.....fine.. except then they did the parrot photos first and the kids had to sit there for 45 minutes because they were told if they got up they lost their place!

We have been to many AI hotels and have come to the decision that the extra star makes all the difference. If you want big groups of teenagers and the 'Brits Abroad' holiday then this hotel is for you..if not I suggest you try somewhere else with a minimum of 4 stars

Stayed in the Paraiso Floral in Playa Paraiso the last week in November. The hotel was very clean cleaners on the go all day everyday.

The location of the hotel central in the resort across the road from the lido and right next to main street with supermarket and shops.

The food is excellent even for the most fussiest eater. Something for everyone.

The staff in the hotel were excellent especially the entertainment Ruben and Remco and the two girls. Fantastic with the kids although we did not have kids they were fun to watch especially at the kids disco on an evening don't know where they get the energy from both the kids and the reps. The shows on a evening were excellent even the bingo which was done in about five or six different languages.

Would definitely go back to this hotel again.

Hotel was clean and staff very friendly.

Food not as good as we thought it was going to be. Had to eat out a number of times, it was either over/under cooked or no taste to it at all. Snacks not available after 6pm, with other all inclusive hotels we have been to sacks where available till 12 midnight.

Entertainment team were good, great if you had kids but we were 4 adults so had no need for mini disco or mini club so a bit boring having to wait till 10pm for the acts to come on (word of warning, you can't see the acts for people standing in front of you).

Hotel very clean in all areas.

For 3* star hotel the food was 5* standard. Plenty available to eat somewhere on site from early till late.
Location not bad as Las Americas is only 15 mins by bus for 1.60euro.

Not many shops to browse in near to hotel. Staff overall were brilliant especially the Fiesta Fun reps. Boy do they earn their wages. Our daughter loved them all and the Fiesta Kids Club.

The mini disco is great fun. Evening entertainment very good too, we saw some excellent acts. Booked excursions through Thomson purely so that in the event of an incident we wouldn't have to battle through spanish lawyers!!

Thankfully not needed anyway, although the tred on the bus tyres (or lack of it) was an eye opener. Went to Loro Parque, Freebird family katamaran, Mediveal Night, Aqualand, Freebird VIP Mount Teide tour. All very good days out.

You can book a dolphin session at aqualand for 50 euros-it's for 8+ years and you get 3 photos, no queing for show, front seats, hug and kiss a dolphin, do a trick with one, learn about their training and a strong possibility of taking part in the show (as our daughter was fortunate to experience).

Well being back a week, first the hotel rooms cleaned every day hotel it self is very clean. The food is out of the world for a three star, the location not to bad but not much there to see or do not many shops or places to eat and drink.

Well the hotel staff were very good and polite the entertainment reps were outstanding the kids loved them all our daughter couldn't wait until 11 o'clock for reps to start.

Whatever they get paid its not a enough The mini disco for the kids was great.

The entertainment for adults was very good, Reason for not going back we had a room on the sixth floor over looking the mini golf lovely in the day watching everyone trying to play. But in the night after 12.00 o'clock it was a different place the so called Brits kids (not the Celts) the noise and very bad language I could not believe as young as 3 left to play there whilst their families were at the bar most of the night and when you tell kids keep it down you get nothing but abuse from them and if they could find a family member you see them swagger up to the mini golf and shout and ball at the kids on top of voice to behave in a foul language.

But it wasn't just them our last week the was overtaken by mainland Spanish what a horrible lot 75 %were loud and arrogant didn't care about anybody.

The first two nights they were there they were making so much noise it woke up my family and a lot more guest as it 1.00 in the morning and went on till gone 2 and when you went down to see the receptionist to complain he said that they on holiday also.

But second night it happen a again and there were alot more guest complaining to a different receptionist and he was very good went out and told them to be quite.

If the Brits had been like that they would called the police. But they did take the drinks of them at 12.00 from then on. The damage had been done.

Our first visit to Tenerife and we were really impressed with the hotel. We had a family room which consisted of 3 rooms in all, a bathroom with full size bath, shower and bidet, a twin bedded room and a large room with 2 twin beds (one on the floor) a large couch and tv with unit. Loads of room and one of the best we have stayed in.

We were on the 11th floor and the height didn't bother us, the wall is quite high so the little ones couldn't climb up on it and they were warned to stay away from it anyway. We were outside a lot, and when we came in to bathe and change for the evening, the girls always watched the tv - we paid 10euros for remote control and got lots of channels, including cbeebies which made my two very happy!

The hotel is excellent, really clean, maid service daily, always people cleaning up. All the staff very friendly, they always say hola and chat to us. The waiters and waitresses in the restaurant are lovely, they asked if we had finished before whisking the plates away. Unfortunately my daughter suffered a fit at the breakfast table at the end of the holiday and the staff were wonderful. They all wanted to help, they fetched us bottled water, made sure my daughter was kept cool and kept people away. We are very grateful for their help.

The food is good, after 14 days there, there was only 2 days in which I didn't really fancy anything that was on offer as it was mostly fish then. There is always something for the children, my two love pasta and ate it every day, so they were happy.

Breakfast is 7.30 to 10.00 then the snack bar by the pool opens at 10.30 til 1.00. Lunch is inside from 1.00 til 3.00 and then snacks again from 3.00 til 6.00 (at least it was in August). Dinner is 6.00 til 9.00pm. The snack bar was great, we never went inside for lunch, we snacked on bread rolls, cakes, biscuits, burgers, sausage, pizza, chips. There is a different selection every day. You can also get fruit. We did not go hungry and we bought crisps for girls to snack on in the evening.

I drank mostly wine, which was nice, and hubby drank the beer, we had no complaint with the drinks )or the food!!). The girls drank water, and we were amazed that if you ask for water at the bars, they give you a cup of bottled water - brilliant. You don't have to pay for it. You can get water out of the machine with the fruit juice but we didn't as we were unsure if it was tap or bottled water.

There are a couple of Supermarkets just down the road that sell anything and everything. We bought bottled water to drink in the room and hired a fridge for 16euros, got 5e back when went home.

The reps are fantastic - there was a Thomson's kids club in the sister hotel but we never went there as our girls loved the hotel's own kids club - they were really good and so funny. Nothing was too much trouble and they really kept the children entertained (and us as well). Remco and Ruben had us in stitches most of the time and the ladies - Kate, Irene and Eva were wonderful with them. There are activities going on for the adults but you are not pushed into doing anything. The reps will walk round and ask you and write your name down if you want to take part. Kids club is 11-1 and then 3-5 and they also take kids for lunch if they like - although my two didn't do this as they wanted to stay by the pool. The lifeguard, Dominic, is lovely, he walks round saying hello to everyone in the morning and encouraged my two to practice swimming with armbands. Beth actually learnt to swim without armbands this holiday.

We did go to the Lido a couple of times but the girls said it was too cold for them. Drinks are free there with your wristband. No snacks there but you can order a picnic the night before. It's salt water in the Lido. The pool is quite small but ample enough - I did find the chemicals made my daughter's costumes change colour slightly! But she was in it all the time and once we got home and washed them, they were ok.

We only went on one trip to Loro Parque, and it does take a while to get there, but the whale and dolphin show was excellent. Having said that, if I went back to Tenerife, I would not bother going to the park again. Took a picnic - bread rolls, butter, tin of pate, tin of tuna, salami, bottle of water, fruit, cakes and plastic cutlery. 4 picnics weighed a ton!

We went to a nearby pub one night - Rhythm and Booze, its up some stairs. A good pub - very "English". Girls were pleased to see Walkers Cheese and Onion and Quavers crisps! We stayed at the hotel most nights as they enjoyed the mini disco.

All in all, we had a fantastic family holiday, met loads of nice people and keeping in touch with a couple of them. I would definitely go back to this hotel. Although it is in a quiet area, this is what we prefer. Definitely value for money, the weather is great! Handy tip - when it gets windy, just tie your umbrella to the fence LOL or it will blow away!!

i found this hotel great we were on the 8th floor and I hate lifts so i walked up and down every time I needed to go to my room but the kids found this fun doing it with me. Room was always cleaned, staff very friendly entertainment team were excellent sad to know they were leaving that summer, only fault was the adult entertainment didnt start untill after 10 and some nights I was shattered but glad I stayed to watch as it was great only thing that repeated was the bingo which we won a few times and the kids discos, daytime entertaiment was fantastic we got involved in everything and won some diplomas and champagne hahaha. Bar staff were funny and polite used to put extra spirits in our drinks so we didnt have to go up as much loved the cocktails, we were alowed to get as many drinks as you could carry also at the bar were cakes and biscuits next to the fruit juice machine. The food was fantastic I have very fussy children and they were never hungry or thirsty they loved that they could help thereself to fruit icecreams and fruit juices, only fault about the restaurant is you have to go down stairs pain if you have a push chair. Some restaurant staff were a bit too quick on clearing your plate but once they got to know you they knew not to touch unless we all left as there were 10 of us, we were able to sit all the kids on a table next to us 4 adults. The pool was grest didnt open until 8 in the morning which did me a favour as I was quite tired, and the lido was lovely although a bit too deep for younger children icecreams and drink were free here too and only a small walk away beautiful suntrap. I would definately go back here and would recommend it to anyone.

Just got back from the Floral hotel and we had a really great time! The hotel is a bit old and the rooms basic but everywhere is very clean, there always seems to be cleaners around! Our beds were made every day, with clean towels if you needed them!

We were all inclusive and it was fantastic, we never want to go half board again! You could help yourself to most drinks and snacks from about 10.30am, ie, water, some soft drinks (fizzy pop and alcohol were served by the staff, so kids cant get to them!), ice lollies, ice cream, sandwichs, chips, burgers, pizza etc, really good!

The food in the dining room was excellent, lots of different dishes everyday, I really enjoyed the fish, I ate it everyday!

I noticed alot of people with loads of chips on their plate, even at breakfast, typical fussy English, wont try anything new, very sad! The hotel pool is good but it does get very slippery around the edges so be careful!

We saw loads of people slip over, including adults! Dont run kids! The staff are very nice, especially the entertainment reps, they all love kids and organise great games to keep everyone happy!

There is a kids disco everynight, ours loved it! Some of the night entertainment was a bit cheesy, but thats what being on holiday is all about! There is also a Thomson run kids club in the hotel next door which is great, you can relax for a couple of hours knowing their in safe hands! We all met some lovely people and we are going to keep in touch with them, so be friendly and have a great time!

There are 17 floors and we were on the 12th which was awful at first but you get used to it! Just dont let your kids play out on it!

We would recommend the Thomson organised trips, they are expensive, but you save money being all inclusive at the hotel! We went to Loro Parque which was an hour and a half on the bus, but was well worth it!

There are dolphins, seals, gorillas, penquins, sharks and best of all Orca whales, which were fantastic, they brought a tear to my eye!

We also went on the Medieval night which was very loud and you must join in! You get to eat with your hands and drink as much wine as you wish! Lastly we went out on a boat to see wild dolphins and whales!

This was very emotional too, it was great to see them in their natural home! The dolphins didnt appear that day, but we were told there was only a 60% chance! The pilot whales came really close to the boat! You could also go for a swim if you wanted!

So, we would recommend all of these trips! All in all we had a great holiday and we recommend this hotel to anyone, we would be happy to go back!

This hotel is run very efficiently. Hold onto your plate if you haven't finished your dinner, members of my family often popped off to get butter, clean fork etc and came back to no dinner LOL, we soon learnt how to deal with it though by always watching staff.

The location of the hotel is nice in that you can either see the sea, or the lido, or pool from most sides, one side looks onto the main street.

The staff what can I say....fantastic, especially with the kids, our first day we wondered why everyone had good reports as the first few we met were miserable, but they must have had a bad day as the rest of the fortnight they were brill.

Entertainment was good, different show every night, my only complain was that the shows are on to late most nights starting at 10.15, kids disco and games are mostly the same every evening to, so boring for adults, great for kids though.

I wouldn't visit this hotel again as it's too far away from the main resort, but I think give it a few years and it will be much better!!!

Excellent hotel, rooms were clean and large.food was excellent with plenty of choice.

Nice pool with plenty of sunbeds (this time of year). Large choice of drinks. Free use of the nearby lido (inc. free drinks). A few shops/bars nearby.

We hired a car so the resort didnt seem too restricted.

This hotel is very well managed, kept very clean in all parts of hotel, the food is excellant plenty of choice, cold or hot which ever suits, and the children section for food is also very good, had some fish fingers my self.

The hotel location is very isolated, no where to go for walk, and only a handful of shops to browse in.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, the entertainment for children during the day and night the staff put alot of work in all the kids seemed to enjoy.

The shows later on in the evening were also very good for children and adults alike.i would visit this hotel again but i found a week was long enough more because of the location than the hotel it's self.

We were delighted with our stay at the Hotel. Room cleaned daily with excellent sea views.

Although some building works going on did not find they spoilt the holiday. Food was of highest standard and plenty of it - with very varied menu daily.

Only thing we would comment on is that the entertainment is more geared towards children and when we were there quite a number of children running around the hotel in the evening especially which spoilt it.

Drink was available from 10 am to 12 midnight (if you could cope).

We are not used to all inclusive holidays, this was a first and the first couple of days were nice not having to get the bill all the time, however we found it very restricting and boring. We like to get out and about and explore where we are staying. If you like a hotel based holiday and kids clubs etc, then it might be for you.

Our daughter is 5 and went to the kidszone club a couple of times but did not like it as the big kids were rough and they were not in a seperate room or have alternate times to the little ones as we thought they would. Hotel kids club award prizes in the hotel disco for competitions run during the day. Mini disco at 8.30pm was good and then bingo at 9.15 and some sort of entertainment in the evening from 10.15(mixture of 3 ladies dancing, acrobats, karaoke, drag queens, el goucho men) all watchable but not enthrawling entertainment-wouldn't miss much if you missed it.

We ate out one evening as it was hubby's b/day at the local Aberdeen Steak house and had a fabulous meal, well worth the money,it was very good value.
Hotel food was typical 3* food, chips with every meal, even breakfast, kids section always had a pizza and some form of pasta and things like nuggets/fish fingers or just breaded fish.
We found there was not enough choice of potatoes-chips,chips and more chips. Occationally we would get rice-but very bland, pasta and salad. Every evening there is a meat, we had lamb/duck/pork and beef all very nice but the things that went with it let you down to really enjoy it.
Don't get me wrong the food was fine, but after 7 days of it we had really had enough and needed a change.

Rooms were cleaned every day and the maids arranged our daughters teddies on her bed every day which was nice-not just thrown back on the bed, they took care over it all.
All staff were very good, helpful throughout from reception to bar.

Lifts were very poor, when we first arrived we went in and the doors shut on us, scared our daughter, but we reassured her it was because we had luggage, but in fact they were a little snappy without the luggage.
We were on the 9th floor, and first time on the balcony I did feel a little vertigo. Had a stern word with daughter not to mess about on there and was very vigialant about her going out there with an adult. The top floor must be awful.

The bar is fine if you like drinking local stuff all the time, there is no option to buy a budweiser for example, you would have to go to a local bar.
Impossible to get drunk, not that we wanted to, but not even tiddly, so did wonder about the strengths etc.
Fun if you leave the bar men a tip though, they ring a bell to say thank you, do this a couple of times and they give you larger portions and even push the boat out and add lemon to soft drinks and ask if you want ice instead of adding it anyway!

We stayed at Paraiso Floral in Playa Paraiso.

Excellent entertainment from the Fiesta team kayleigh and kelly thought dieter lush!met some lovely people and laughed the whole time.

Going back end of October seventeen people going this time seven of us have been before. If you like people watching (some really cant handle the all inclusive drinks) joining in with the entertainment team, nice weather and good food I would recomend this hotel.

Would advise using stairs instead of lifts as they do break down a lot.

We enjoyed this hotel very much the entertainment was very good, food was excellent, staff were very frendly.

Very clean hotel. Location was quiet but you know that when you book the holiday.

Mathew our son made lots of friends.

Only about 15 shops, so most time around hotel. You could get the local bus to the busy resorts which wern't far.

The only 1 complaint we had about the hotel and lots of other holiday makers had was that there are only ceiling fans in the rooms and they do not cool the rooms down 1 bit, you can hire fans from reception which are a little expensive. Apart from that we would return to this hotel if they installed air conditioning or had large fans in each room.

One more thing you can pay 10 pounds a week and get all your english channels and few saterlite channels which is good because there are times when your in your room.

Generally very impressed with this hotel. We booked it late and found a good deal and would say it was extremely good value for money.

Hotel very clean. Maid service daily, no rubbbish left around hotel etc.

We thought the food was very good. Plenty of choice, fish, meat, pasta, etc. Loads of salad. Can get a little busy in restaurant but we learnt to go either early of late to avoid the rush.

There are building works nearby but they didnt really bother us. Not too much noise.

The staff were occassionaly a little misserable but on the whole not a problem.

The entertainment was as we expected. Kids disco, bingo & reasonable entertainment. The Enigma show as by far the best but others OK.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Just got back from our second two week stay at the parasio floral. Yet again a fantastic holiday.
The hotel was kept spotlessly clean and the maid service 7 days a week
The food in the hotel was quite adequate, not a fantastic choice but there was always something you could eat and always good quality. Only heard one person complain about the food, and to be honest she complained about everything!!!!! Why do people go on holiday just to moan?????
The location is fine although the building work was a little noisy, however you soon got used to the noise. And if it did get to much you could always use the Lago Lido which is included as part of the all inclusive deal.
The hotel staff were excelent and very friendly, always willing to help. The service from the carering and bar team was very efficien to say the least.
Entertainment at the hotel was fun, although bingo in 7 languages got a little tedios, however the entertainment team were fantastic especially Mari and Isabell who kept the kids happy for hours. Many thanks to the whole team there for a great holiday

Hotel was spotless although I think they had a problem with the pool ie whites tended to turn green! Watch out very blonde ppl! And don't wear your best T-shirts.
Food's good although as said b4, two weeks is too long but there's a good Chinese across the road!
Kid's found the meals a bit too exotic.(Mussels, rabbit and squid occaisionally) They did put on pizza, fish fingers, hamburgers etc but only one a day so it was a hit or a miss. Ours usually ate the pool side snacks instead of meals so never went hungry. The speciality meats were always lovely.
There's no beach but there is a salt water Lido. Bit hot down there (although water freezing)and a bit sore under foot. The building work was very noisy as they were drilling the road right over the fence. You had to shout to the person beside you but you got used to it! All day entertainment is great as are the entertainment staff. They probably make the holiday! Throwing Dieter into the pool is a must!

We had a great time in this hotel. The cleanliness was excellent as there was cleaning seven days a week. The fodd was superb as there was wide range of selection. Entertainment was enjoyable. Wasn`t much to do within the area of the hotel but there was plenty of trips that Thomson`s were organizing to go on. The swimming pool was excellent. Although the lagoon could`ve been a little cleaner. The room was superb. But we did have a view of a building site. We had great weather. Hotel staff very helpful. Plenty of things to do in the hotel. Had great time playing mini golf. Internet access was great. Kids club was run very well and the reps were very friendly. We would definately travel to this hotel again in the near future.

We went here for a girlie holiday.

The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly. Our room was basic but clean. There was a constant problem with one of the lifts the week we were there. There are 2 lifts, one for the odd floors and one for even floors. As we were on the 14th floor we kept on having to get the odd lift to 13th and walk up a flight. Also whilst there we had a great down pour of rain which came in through doors, ceilings and windows in the main entertainment room and it took them a while to come and sort it out.

There seems to be many people who visit this hotel time after time as we found out, although we would not go back because of the location. There is not a lot to do, the resort seems to consist of only one street with few bars and restaurants, OK if you want to stay local.

We found the food great and lots of choice. There is building work nearby which starts about 7am and is very noisy. Apart from that we had a great laugh

We are a family of 5 and find it hard to go on holiday as we want us all to be together. This hotel has a great suit were we all can stay in one room.
The food was okay, it looked fresh and none of us got a dicky tummy. The choice was good but it didn't change much over the 14 days.
The entertainment staff were very kind and funny.
We liked it that much we have booked for 2005.
