| said: Food was very good and varied.when we returned to the rooms each day they had been cleaned to arrival condition and all our bits and bobs tidied away.We did not go to any of the hotel shows but it would appear to be the usual. The bar prices were above the local average, but not the worse,so after the first night we went out to the local bars and highly recomend Raffles for a quiet drink then to Bar 39 for entertainment.both are 5 minutes from the hotel.Did not see a Thompson rep from when we arrived at the airport until we returned to the airport and the flight and bus times in the rep folder were well wrong!on the down side the hotel is on a steep slope which was ok for us but would catch out others. The roof area is adult only and is where i spent the weekdays.with a small pool and jacuzzi and bar it is ideal for chilling out and the veiws are super.

| said: We have stayed at Paradise Park on 4 previous occassions but this is the only occassion we were not happy. We had been in April earlier this year and stayed in a hotel room which we did not like as it was not big enough so as on previous occassions we booked in an apartment self catering. When we arrived we had been booked into a hotel room - not happy and were then told we would have to wait an hour until an apartment would be ready - good job we know our way around as there was no assistance as what to do for that hour!! When we did get to the apartment is was old and dated in April we had noticed the apartments being renovated so just assumed we would get one of these - no such luck!! In fact during our 2nd week the apartments below and next door to us commenced being renovated ie the dated furniture was removed and new arrived as a consequence the lift to our top floor was quite often unavailable to us as it was full of furniture and workmen!! On one occassion when we went back to our apartment in the evening we had to get a cleaner as there were wood chippings everywhere which would have ended up in our room!!
The rest of the hotel is lovely particularly the pool

| said: About 10 min walk down to the beach, which was perfect for what we wanted. 1st room small but comfy. Nice view. Large beds, but very dated, and terrible smell of sewerage, which was made even worse by losing water the second evening we were there, no water all night in the whole hotel!
Our rep was fab and got us moved, 2nd room, no smell, no view, again dated (this time to extent that bedside units starting to come off walls and peeling)and shower was rubbish, but was so pleased no smell we stayed there. Food ok, but same things every day.
Resturant tables were clean but crumbs brushed onto floor stayed there from what I could see. Entertainment was cheesy, but as we were on holiday, we enjoyed it !!. Compliments to lovely staff though.
Pools were kept clean, but sadley the adult arrea upstairs was not kept as adults area, as we saw children up there on a few occassions. We enjoyed our holiday but were disappointed in the 4* standard, I would certainly not rate this as a 4*

| said: Ok so I agree this hotel does not quite live up to its 4 star rating but it is not as bad as reviews suggest, I would definitely go back.
We had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the pool, nice view, the rooms are not huge but certainly comfortable, 2 large twin beds with extra pillows and blankets….bathroom is spacious and we never had any problem with hot water. Plenty of storage space and cupboards with interior lights a nice touch. Yes, the décor is dated and not 4 star but the room was clean (cleaned every day, fresh towels every day) and comfortable. Bonus was the fridge in the room, don’t always get this and it’s handy to have for water etc. The balcony wasn’t huge but did the job for a glass of wine at night and there is a line over the bath to hang up clothes.
The restaurant I thought was good, the food was always plentiful and we were never stuck for something to eat, the only thing I would say was that it was fairly repetitive but that may have more to do with the fact that I am a very fussy eater! The breakfasts were a huge selection and for dinner always meat, fish, pasta, bread, cheeses, salads, desserts, we found the restaurant to be busy but not so busy we had to wait for a table, and waiter promptly arrived to take drinks orders and clear tables. We swapped lunch for
dinner a couple of days and lunch was excellent value.
Entertainment was good there was a large variety, reptile show, eagle show, magic show (excellent) karaoke, excellent Supremes and 80s tributes bands. The entertainment team never failed to be friendly and enthusiastic and their job can’t be too easy when the hotel at night is not too busy and mainly older people. There were a few kids there who had a mini disco every night at 9pm, they learnt routines throughout the week and were very cute to watch!
The hotel itself may be in need of a bit of updating but has great facilities and the pool areas were excellent. Not sure if it was the time of year or because they have a no reservation policy but we never had any trouble getting a sunbed and the 3 pool areas were lovely, especially upstairs on the roof (adults only) where you could lie on your lounger overlooking the resort out to sea, beautiful!
All in all I would say the hotel is not 4 star but it’s still VERY nice, with the most welcoming staff ever (even the maids were friendly) and it’s perfect for a relaxing break away. The clientele was mainly older couples.
I would return!!

| said: Arrived about 7pm check in no problem staff seamed very good.
Junior suite mind you not in the main hotel as expected but in an apartment type block, furnished nice bedroom/lounge nice bathroom.
Now here is the problem do not go to this hotel if you expect anything other than cold baths and showers and believe me you can complain until the cows come home but it doesnt seem to do any good got changed to another suite after 5 days of cold water (mind you on new years eve they gave us a courtesy room to get a warm shower)and guess what the water was tepid not hot enough for a bath but maybe a 15 second shower.
Maids very good, food edible and varied, pools freezing even though the bumf says heated (oh thats the heating of water again).
Spa very nice although no food or drink there even all inclusive. Waiter josa on yaiza very nice and so very polite.
Would not go back again dont really think some respects of this hotel complex are anywhere near 4 star, glad to be home for a hot bath.

No comparison to other 4* I have stayed in in Tenerife. We were beside wee shop to start with on 1st floor, like 70s school hostel room!. then above it on second, very slightly more modern .These rooms certainly need updating.
Everything else about the hotel is fine. Lovely staff, food fine thou could have been hotter, but there is a microwave you could use. Loved the new pool area accross the path at the back, catch more of the winter sun there!Good that we could get pool towels(for a returnable deposit), saved room in the cases!

| said: Just back from another great stay at this fabulous Hotel. The design is really unusual as it is hollow, it becomes apparent why when you realise just how cool it is without air conditioning.
The reception area is spot on, and highly unusual. (Just as are the staff). They are very friendly and very attentive, you get the feeling that they are guinely interested in you and not just because it is there job. We had a room on the same level as reception which was ideal.
The room was very good, with all the facilites you would expect. Air conditioning which is very effective, hair dryer, drying line, mini bar, radio and flat screen TV with Sky sports, movies and news.
The balcony was a great sun trap and a spot of private sunbathing is possible on it.
The dining room was immaculate, and you are met at the door by a charming lady called Ioana, who despite her name is actually Romanian. the food was always plentiful, fresh and the choice was really good.
At breakfast we had another great choice and the fresh rolls were delicious.
There is a sunbathing area on the roof just for adults with really comfy beds, 2 jacuzzis and a wee pool. You can also get some lunch there in the roof bar. This is a sun trap from very early to very late.
The main pool area has 3 pools and another jacuzzi. the lady at the pool bar is Nigerian and is really very helpful. The drinks and food served here is very good.
We had a meal one night in the Atlantida restuarant just across the path, this is part of the Hotel and a discount of 10% is granted to Hotel guests. There are also 5 more pools and plenty of sunbeds in this part which again, you can have access to. There is a SPA here which is free to hotel guests.
There is internet access so it is easy to keep tabs on your banking whilst staying here.
The Gym is small but very well equipped, and if you really want to treat yourself you can have a chocolate massage.
We were very choosy about the entertainment, but there are some good shows to be had.
Overall this was a great 2 weeks and if I returned to Tenerife I would most certainly make my 3rd visit to this hotel.
Altough it is some 1.2 kms from the harbour, there is a courtesy bus and the walk isnt really that bad. It is better if you stage it by visiting the bars as you go.

We had a lounge/dining room,wc and walk in shower downstairs with balcony overlooking pool, tea/coffee, air con, TV wirh SKY and fridge, upstairs we had large bedroom, with balcony and 2 sun loungers, air con, fridge and telly also huge bathroom with walk in shower, sedparate wc and raised sunken bath ( large enoygh for 2).
The staff were very attentive the food was excellent and the numrous public areas were spotless.
This hotel has numerous pools including a roof top one and the use of the spa just across the footpath free of charge.
Entertainment not great but numerous bars etc nearby, would not recommend for those with walking probs as situated near top of long hill but apart from this would go back at anytime, also great for those who want to be free from children as the hotel caters for adults mostly, well worth a visit

The food is excellent and the breakfast is the best I have had in a Hotel.
The downside is the entertainment its very poor, but go to bar 69 it starts at 9.0pm its about 2 Min's walk from hotel. 60s music and a different artist every night.
Best night in Tenerife and you can take your kids if you want, sit outside or inside you can still here the artists.

The pools were spacious and clean. The mini bus transfer to the centre of Los Christianos invaluable. The only draw back was the steep hill from the centre, but taxis for 4-5 Euro were readily available. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This had all finished by the time we went and there were no workmen around. We found it very peaceful and the service was excellent.
Everything was very clean, the restaurant had a large selection of food available for both breakfast and dinner, the pools were lovely and there were always loungers available as it was never full because there were so many to choose from.
We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend the hotel to others. The only drawback to the hotel was that it was on quite a steep hill and was a fair distance from the centre but there were always taxis around if you didn't want to walk back.

| said: We have stayed here before and it was superb. Now it has gone Adult only that appealed as we appreciate the lack of children now ours have grown up.
We stayed in the Suite on the 7th Floor, which was set out delightfully. Seperate bath and walk in shower. 10 ft Bed Ooh all my own space.
Our room was clean and spick and span, but the Kids room showed its age. It is being refurbished at the moment. The self catering block has gone. All apartments are being upgraded to Junior Suite Standard.
Its location is central to LC and everything is easily reachanle by Taxi or Car hire. The staff could not do enough to help.
Take your booking brochure with you as facilities do differ as to who you book with.
There is Free Aqua Aerobics, Yoga and Tai Chi 3 days a week. there are now 4 pools imcluding the Naturist Area on the 7th Floor.
The Old Manager and Ents Manager both left 5 weeks ago, so it is struggling for direction and its image. The previous Ents Manager made the shows his own, professionally run day and night.
The On site Supermarket has been shut, and Bar Prices are quite steep.
Would we go again, yes but booking direct to save a Third on costs.

| said: The Paradise Park hotel is an excellent holiday destination. The hotel was very clean (rooms cleaned every day) and the staff were very friendly. Our room was nice with the usual facilities, but we had a room at the rear of the hotel which gave us a rather dull view of a big hill behind the hotel.
I would recommend that you try to get a 'pool view' room which gives you views over the coastline. The food in the buffet restaurant was very good, you always had a wide selection of dishes to choose from.
The hotel facilities were excellent and the pools were fantastic. The 'leisure park' part of the hotel was excellent with two great pools, a snack bar and sun terraces.
However you need vouchers to enter this part of the hotel as members of the public can also use these facilities for about 6 euros. We were given only three vouchers each upon arrival, but I'm not sure if you would be provided with any more free of charge if you used them up.
We didn't really watch any of the hotel entertainment, because we preferred to get out and about and go into Los Cristianos at night. However there seemed to be a lot of variety on offer.
The one downside that always appears on these message boards is the hotels location. It is about 1km up a rather steep hill leading down to the beach.
However myself and my girlfriend are very athletic people in our early twenties so we didn't really find it to be a problem.
However I can understand how it can be very tiring and difficult for elderly people, especially in the heat in the middle of the day.
There is a shuttle bus that runs from the hotel to Playa Las Vistas beach every hour until about 5pm, which was very useful.
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, however I would advise caution about the hilly location. If you are happy to use the shuttle bus to get about during the day and stay in and around the hotel at night then this is the hotel for you.

| said: I was a little apprehensive about staying in this hotel after reading quite a few negative reviews. However, myself and my partner had a very enjoyable holiday here!
Upon arrival the reception staff were friendly and quickly checked us in, we also arranged a safety deposit box and were each given a room card.
The most disappointing part of the hotel was the decor in the rooms. We were both initially disappointed with our room when we first entered as it appeared very dark and dull. The lights were not very bright and the room was quite gloomy. However, we soon got used to this, and really the room was only for sleeping in. The room was VERY clean. The maids did an excellent job each day and were very thorough. We did hear other guests complaining about their rooms smelling of smoke, but we did not have this problem.
The hotel meals were cooked very nicely. At breakfast time fried eggs and bacon would be cooked freshly in front of you, and in the evening the main meat would also be cooked fresh. I greatly enjoyed breakfast each day, there was a great deal of choice and it was all cooked to a high standard. Evening meals were not so good. Although everything was cooked nicely, the choices available were very odd! It was difficult to make a meal out of some of the choices. The choice of potato was quite disappointing, it was often chips or nothing. The waiters were very friendly.
We were aware that the hotel was on a hill and this was not a problem for us. It was a good 15 minute walk down to the front and then at least another ten minutes round to the main beach. This wasn't a problem, but some nights it was a pain having to trek back up to the hotel! We walk quite fast and could walk down the hill in about eight minutes (very fast walking!) During the day there is a free bus to the beach, however this only has 13 seats! Also do not believe the timetable in the hotel, the bus always left before the time it said (or maybe it was late and leaving after?!) Only the British people seemed to queue (same with the lifts in the hotel) other nationalities would push to get onto the bus first, so be prepared to stand you ground or you won't get on!
We didn't stay in and watch the entertainment as the bar always smelt very smoky. However, there were many things advertised- parrot shows, snake shows, ABBA tribute nights, bingo, flamenco dancing.... there seemed to be a lot going on!
Overall we had a very nice holiday here. There was building work going on which we had been told about, but we barely noticed! Sometimes whilst lying by the pool you could hear drilling but it was really nothing to worry about at all! If the rooms are improved this hotel will be much better as all other aspects of it are lovely. The pools are very nice.
By the way- although advertised as adults only, there were children at the hotel. There weren't that many, but if you visit the spa pools next door there are a lot there!

| said: I wish to warn anyone who stays at this hotel to be very careful when and where they park their hire car. We parked the car outside this hotel one evening to return next morning to find it had been towed away by police, costing us 90 euros to retrieve it from police compound in Las Americas.
There was no warning about this from the hotel, and they refused to take any responsibility, and we were offered no compensation, refund or apology. They removed only rental cars, not local ones (we were not the only unluckly guests)and when we returned to the hotel, we realised it was because they were tarmacing the road outside the hotel!
Apart from this`robbery` the hotel was not really up to a 4 star grade. We had requested a high floor room with a nice view and got neither(we discovered there are no nice views in this area, let alone the rest of Tenerife) and would never stay at this hotel or Tenrife again.

| said: We Stayed half board in the apartments at Paradise Park and there is still building work going on round by the main pool which woke me up at 8am every morning.
The room we was given was very clean but very shabby and no way 4*. The view from our balcony was of of the not yet open shopping centre, on seeing this I politely complained to the hotel manager who told me he couldn't move us and to take it up with our rep. The shower leaked when we used it and spilled water all over the floor which ran right through into the hallway
The hotel complex itself is very nice indeed and I had a great time lying by the pool (the Laguna pool thats over the other side of the complex away from those very noisy builders)
The entertainment was 100% aimed at children and O.A.P'S in my opinion and had nothing for young lads of a 25 to 35 age range.
The location is a bit out of the way also but i enjoyed a nice slow walk down to and along the beach having a few drinks on the way to Las Americas.
I wasn't keen on the evening buffet as everything (even the veg) tasted of fish but I did pop down for breakfast most mornings which wast bad but wasn't great either.
So overall I would return there once the builders have left and I would be opting for self catering next time.
They also really need to do some decorating in the apartments.

Food was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, entertainment was average but still enjoyable.
Location of the hotel is reasonable although it is at the top of a hill but if in good health it isn't an issue.
We will be returning shortly and I would highly recommend the Paradise Park to all.

| said: Well, all the bad reviews we read before going where I think for the Self Catering side of the complex. We stayed at the Hotel itself, and found it very nice indeed. Yes, the rooms are a little dated, but are very clean and there is a very good maid service every day.
The food was exceptional I'd say. Me and my girlfriend wanted for nothing. Steak, Sword Fish, Pork loins, Chicken Fillets, everything you could wish for and more. Breakfast's were just as good too, with proper sausages, eggs, toast, tea. Id suggest going to the local shop for decent milk though, unless you like Steri.
The entertainment was watchable and sometimes even very good, but you can always stroll down the hill into town.
Whoever calls it heart attack hill must be quite unfit. Only the last few yards to the hotel where steep.
Only moans we had really, was the noise from the road, which we could hear quite badly because our patio door wouldn't shut, but thats our fault for not asking for a move. Also, most of the rooms are offset from each other, so next doors toilet is in the middle of your room (if you see what I mean) and when they flush their toilet, it sounds like a harrier jump jet has just took off IN your room. And lastly, as all 4 star hotels, the drink prices are a bit steep. Pint of local beer is 350 Euros, and a cocktails about 450.
PS, the pools are VERY cold, but once you get going, there ok for a little swim.
There is a lot of renovation work going on, but we didn't really hear it on our side of the hotel, just cranes and diggers sometimes. The Hotel give you free passes to the Atlantic complex next door, which has LOADS of sunbeds, a very nice COLD pool, and an upper adults area with Jacuzzi's and eating area and small pool.
All in all, a VERY nice week relaxing. Don't let the moaners put you off

| said: I have just returned from this hotel and can say I would not go again or at least until the building work has been completed.
The apartments which we stayed in were ok the cleaning service was very good and was most days. The decor is poor and in need of a major upgrade and was not of the 4* grade we booked and paid for.
The pool area is great for the kids, but not very relaxing with drilling and cement mixers etc going all day around you not something we were told about when booking.
The hotel is a little far out but the hotel does lay on a bus to the beach which we did use. Taxis were cheap up and down the hill to the main resort so this shouldn't cause to many problems.
Drinks in the hotel are very expensive so we drank out most evenings, and to buy your own for the apartment is cheap. I would imagine next year when the complex is adult only it would be good.

| said: We have just come back from what only can be described as the noisiest holiday we have ever had.
It was our second visit to this hotel and we were looking forward to a nice relaxing break as we enjoyed on the last visit two years ago.On checking in which was late evening we were very pleased with the short time this took and also the friendly manner of the staff who assured us we would be given a very nice room.
On reaching our room we were delighted' We had an end pool view and in the distance could see the sea and the boats in los cristianos harbour. Our happiness however was very shortlived. On waking we went down to breakfast which was very nice with lots of choice,we made our way back to our room to get in our swimmers for the day.
Then the realization of what this hotel
had in store for us made us look in disbelief at each other.Below our window was the apartment block which was obviously undergoing some major refurbishment the noise was bad so we closed the patio doors ,but we could still hear it.So we left pronto and headed for the pool to chill out, joke no2! The noise around the pool was absolutely atrocious , pneumatic drills going all day cement mixers, and dumper truck sirens beepiin non stop alongside hammering and banging! on the roof was more work being done they are doing work to the roof pool and are also putting a roof on the hotel to stop the rain getting in in the foyer! There were no safety nets outside and if the builders had of dropped something someone could of been seriously hurt.
Only two people we spoke to about all this had been informed of this work taking place ,which I can honestly say was something
you see on a holiday from hell' programme.
Even though we were offered another room 3 days into our holiday(A ROAD ROOM) which we declined due to the time it takes 2 move (ANOTHER WASTE OF AN AFTERNOON) we felt it was only part of the problem, thou an apology wouldnt have gone amiss.
This hotel overall is pretty good, the rooms are in need of refurbishing but are being done at the moment (a few at a time)they are upgrading this hotel to a 5star hopefully by next summer.
So if your thinking of going make sure you check that theyve finished the work before you book.

On arriving at the Hotel we were impressed by our first impressions. The foyer looked very smart. We had booked to stay self catering in the apartment part of the complex and had read other reports saying that the accommodation was not up to scratch. My family had two 1 bed apartments. These were basement ones but as requested next door to our kids. On entering I thought they were a bit dark but the accommodation was very good with a very large bathroom, separate shower and toilet. The kitchen area was small but adequate and well equipped. (no microwave though). We didn't have a separate bedroom but again a very large area with two beds and a good seating area. The balcony was nice but stayed pretty shaded a good bit of the day.
The decor was traditional and tasteful with satellite TV(2 film channels, two news channels and one music channel in English. My sister's two apartments were three floors up and were of a different design. Separate bedroom, smaller bathroom and more of a living area. It was a brighter room being up high but it was definitely in need of a face-lift - we got the better deal!
The complex itself is well run with the staff being friendly and helpful.
The pool area was always clean and litter free. The rooms were cleaned 6 days and towels changed every day. Any small problems we had were dealt with quickly.
The main restaurant has a buffet menu and was very good.
The pool area has plenty loungers but filled up quickly. We tended to use the next door pool area(free to hotel guests)where there were plenty of loungers and the pool was good.
The entertainment team put a lot of effort into keeping the guests occupied and we even learnt to dance!(Latin American).
I cannot fault the hotel even 'cardiac hill' didn't seem that bad and there was always the courtesy bus if you didn't feel like walking.
All in all we were impressed with the complex, although the rooftop pool was closed when we were there we didn't feel we'd missed much.
We would like to go again.

| said: When we arrived at the airport we were told that they were refurbishing the rooftop pool area and were offered the chance to move, however we were so glad that we didn't as after some initial confusion we were given a room that was facing the pool area and was lovely.
The decor could do with updating but you couldn't fault the cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff.
Most of the people staying there were couples, as it is a bit of a trek to the beaches, but if you just wanted to relax and sunbathe then it was ideal.
The complex, Atlantida next door was a brilliant addition to the whole resort. As guests of the Paradise Park, you can get in there for free and the pools and lounging areas were lovely. You can also have a Thai massage for 20 Euro. We spent most days there and hardly went out of the complex apart from a few excursions.
It is quite clear that the management are attempting to make this quite an upmarket hotel, we were asked to fill in a few questionairres asking us about what we would like there in the future, it certainly seems to be working as there were improvements taking place while we were there. Things like new blinds and tiles etc.
The food was fine, there was always at least one dish that you could eat, and only the Italian Mexican themed evening was a bit ropey! Even then though, we could find something we fancied.
We would definitely stay here again, plenty of relaxation not too close to the hustle of the town and Atlantida, Fab! :-)

The entertainment was good, however when in the bar it took a while to get the waiters attention.

The average age group I would say is maybe 30+. The hotel may not be suited for older people or ones with walking difficulties as it is situated at the top of a hill but there is a courtesy bus that run every half hour to the resort centre. The hotel is very clean and the food is really good with a very large choice buffet style menu.
We are already planning our next trip to this hotel in October!

Had proberly the two wettest days in history and it was only to clear that when they planned this complex, they forgot about if it rained as the reception is almost out in the open. There were towels everywere, and although we were on the 3rd floor we didn't escape the flood.
All in all we would go back, although not to the bar[vodka & lime and port & lemon £5.25]that is pounds!!
Staff very friendly.
Cosmos don't tell you enough about the layout in their welcome meeting!!!!!

| said: We stayed in this hotel all over Christmas and New Year and left on 2nd Jan 2005. The hotel is very nice and clean and very big.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. We went on half board but would recommend self catering as the food was very nice but seemed nearly the same dishes every day. Also the breakfast.
We went out to restaurants in the evening mostly which were all lovely apart from an Indian which gave us bad a bad stomach... The rooms in hotel were cleaned daily and towels and sheets were changed. There was a safe in the room which is extra cost to use.
I have to say, the entertainment in the hotel was rather poor, and made you fell like going to sleep. The Entertainment is mainly for the over 60s and under 10 year olds. Nothing for the in between. We went out the complex most nights as it’s livelier.
Christmas day and New Years Eve was good in the hotel.
They had traditional
Spanish singers and free drink and Champaign and a brilliant firework display at 12pm new years eve. We really enjoyed that.
Then they had a disco which wasn’t very good so we decided to go clubbing with some Spanish friend we met there, they were really friendly!!
Try to avoid the laundry service in the hotel. They ruined a really expensive top of ours and the trousers were still damp. They would not give any money to replace the top either.
The Thompson rep (Claire) not very helpful. She never got back to us about anything! The swimming pools are very nice and clean and there is a complex of pools next to the hotel which is free to paradise park guests.
We would visit the hotel again but only on a self catering basis. We had three cockroaches in the hotel, 2 in our room and one in the restaurant. But the staff react very quickly for you to get rid of them.
The Jacuzzi is very nice and cost €7 per person, they also have sauna, gym and all beauty treatments and a hairdressers.

| said: First I should state I stayed in the 'Apartments' rather than the main hotel.
Before going we were assured there was no difference but I’m sure there is. The apartments are pretty grotty and ours had a sewage smell in the bathroom. I'm no plumber but I think the septic tank was below us and there was a cover in our bathroom to get into it. We informed them of the stink and to their credit they sent someone around within an hour who changed the cover, not that it fixed the problem, it just added a nasty hint of glue to the smell. This said the place was clean and the cleaners were friendly and the staff were mostly friendly too.
Our apartment had a great view of the building site, the noise wasn't really too bad as the builders tend to do nothing but smoke all day anyway. There was always some poor bloke working on the floor of it at 1am in the morning. When that place is finished I’m going to go in and inspect that floor :)
The entertainment is billed as all-day and all-night, it's as good as its word. The evening entertainment is mostly dire, one of the most memorable moments being a game of bingo in about 6 languages, it was so funny it made you cringe and is something I won't forget.
The acts are probably the bottom-end of the Southern Tenerife entertainment directory. If the 'Animation team' (I hate that phrase) book these acts then they need to rethink. The hotel obviously caters for several different nationalities and their choice in entertainment acts whiff of "the safe choice" for all, for example a magician, a Michael Jackson tribute fool and (poor) flamenco dancing were all performing on my week there. Also the prices of drinks in the bar are almost criminal they're that high.
The main (kids allowed) pool is good but quite shaded. I never ventured up to the Roof pool but I was told it's very nice and the views are great. The adult’s pool above the bar is nice too. The best of all though is the complex they've got that is next door to the hotel, it's open to the public and they have to pay to get in but it's free to hotel residents. The pools are nice and there is lots of sun. I'm not sure quite how many people are aware they can get in gratis though.
The area the hotel is in is being redeveloped; mostly apartments are going up rather than hotels.
It's a quick walk to the coast - slightly longer back as it's uphill.
The holiday was enjoyable, didn't see one cockroach in or around the hotel, weather was great (apart from a short trip to Santa Cruz where is was like a rainy April day in Manchester, and there we were in shorts and t-shirts!).

The food was brilliant with a different choice each night beef, Lamb, Veal, Fish all cooked fresh, with sirloin steaks 5 out of 7 nights on offer. The breakfasts were fabulous apart from the sprouts which we didn't fancy with our bacon and eggs. All the bacon sausages etc were cooked fresh and you could have omelettes and pancakes. You could also see the bread rolls being baked fresh every morning too in the ovens behind the grill area. each evening they had a different wine on offer for you to buy.
For the dieters among us they even had a selection of produce rice cakes diet jams and vegetable juices etc.
One thing we didn't expect was the day it rained the floor in the reception area was wet but as the centre of the hotel is roofless that could explain the reason why.
We didn't stay in on an evening so cannot comment on the entertainment.

At 7.30am the drills started until approx 7pm!! But LC is full of half built hotels etc so cannot be avoided. Had the breakfast in the hotel one morning. Never again. The kids said the coco pops didn't taste right and the milk was sour!
Apartment badly needs a revamp. Hotel beautiful, lovely pools. Staff very friendly and helpful. Night entertainment silly but fun - very child friendly. Wouldn't consider staying in LC again until building works complete. Beautiful resort otherwise - great choice of restaurants and shops.

Hotel staff are very helpful especially the amigos bar, information happily given ,for local transport, time tables for buses as well as maps of the island.
Food is plentiful as at breakfast & evening meal but only let down as am a brit they don’t serve tea or coffee at evening meal time!!!!But plenty of other beverages to pick from.
Hotel has a free mini bus service which runs every hour from the hotel down to the town centre & picks up as well.
Can't comment on hotel entertainment as we didn’t view entertainment in the hotel but other guest spoke about it, as we ventured out every evening. So many great bars to see & visit, ie Irish times, the church & also try porto colon, night life fantastic, the beach bar (in & out bar)looking forward of going back real soon.

I loved the fact we had 4 different pools to choose from and at this time of year it was quiet with mainly adults which was nice for a relaxing break. We mainly used the sunbeds and pool on the roof of the hotel which gave fantastic views all round too.
We ate a couple of times in the restaurant and there was a good choice at a very reasonable price. However we recommend Little Italy on the seafront walk to anyone -maybe not cheap but food was excellent.
We will definately go back although we'll try to book direct next time as we had no contact with Cosmos at all on our visit and it could be cheaper this way too.
We hired a car at the airport for the week for £66 and this proved to be a godsend as the hotel is slightly further out of town than you think.

We found the staff from all departments was friendly and helpful and no problem was to small for them to sort out for us. The location of the Hotel is great its only a short walk to the town centre but you will need a taxi back.we loved the place so much we are returning at the end of september.

The restaurant menu was changed each day although there were times when leftovers from the previous night were featured, for example brussel sprouts at breakfast! However there was always plenty of food to choose from. We especially enjoyed eating lunch at the eatery on the roof. Great views!!!
The hotel is outside the town centre. We walked the distance one night, but taxi's are readily available. If you choose to visit the town centre during the day, you can use the hotel mini-bus for free. Timetables are supplied at reception, but arrive early for the mini-bus, in order to get a seat.
All the staff appeared to be approachable and friendly. We had a small leak which was dealt with immediately.
There was regular nightly entertainment, which would always begin with a children's disco. Also featured were cabarets, magicians, fashion shows, acrobats, bingo, karaoke - not all featured on the same night!
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel!

The apartment was cleaned six out of seven days and the hotel complex was spotless. They provided adult and children entertainment on an hourly basis, but could do to have more variety for the children's games. All sun loungers had gone by 9.00am but the new pool/leisure complex next door which is available free to hotel guests was lovely and compensated the above. The Hotel's facilities suited both family and individuals with adult only pools and bars. I would come back to the hotel again.

Had a pool view which was great although building work on both sides of hotel meant that others we met did get some disturbance. Apart from the occasional noise of the cranes in action it did not affect our holiday and Los C. is going through alot of development in general. Staff brilliant and plenty of pools / bars, some for families and some children. It is 10 or 15 mins walk from the sea but bars / restaurants all over and the walk was never a problem for us. Apart from the pool bar we never tried the hotel food as there were so many good value places near by.
As others have said the bar prices are more expensive than some of the deals outside but still cheaper than a British pub and the children could hang about with their new friends in safety.

The hotel is not situated in the best of places but we found that taxis were cheap. The free bus provided by the hotel was running regularly too.
All hotel staff were friendly and made you feel very welcome.
Entertainment is not something we paid too much attention to, as we were out along the beachside most nights.
There was some building construction taking place when we were there but this did not affect us. We did not hear much noise from this at all.

Hotel location is fine apart from the uphill walk back to the hotel, we used taxi's on a night time anyway, there's a minibus laid on during the day. Didn't see any cock roaches at all, unless they where hiding in the salad
The hotel staff where very friendly, but the chilled mini bar in your room is very dear, we stored our own snacks etc in the mini bar, which you're not supposed to, yes i think the mini bar was the only complaint we had. My wife had been to paradise park about 5 years previous and told the staff and myself that she had liked it then, although now it has improved with a new bar etc.
The entertainment at the late night bar was very good, the bar staff and disc jockey/dancers where very friendly and polite. The other bar was more sedate, we only ventured into there to have our first drinks before venturing out to puerto colon beach bar, on our return we would go into the late bar.
I will be returning to paradise park this summer hopefully, We stayed at an hotel in Playa De Las Americas in 1999, the entertainment was very good but the rooms had no air conditioning, which should be standard in all parts of a hotel in that climate. Over all a very nice holiday.

We hired a car straight from the airport and got to the hotel and 1hour before the holiday coach so could specify a pool view above the ground floor (ideal)..pleanty of parking safe parking spaces for our decrepid hire car but the area is being developed so you will find views of half built hotels !! unless you get a pool view.. 7/10,

Rabbit stew was on the menu for lunch, and the chicken served in the evening was almost raw. There was an Italian night and the pizza was served up the following day. There was little food suitable for young children.
The pool the kids were allowed into was full of floating black things and if you were not poolside by 9am there was no chance of a lounger all day. We would never go back to this hotel even though the location was good. Certainly not a 4 star as advertised by the tour company more like a 2 or 3 star.
