| said: Chose this apartment the day before travel on the strength of the positive reviews.
First time I've used this company but they was very accommodating in making a stress free change from our original apartment choice.
Nice,clean, spacious apartments but I guess the lack of wardrobe and drawer space would be an issue if a family stayed.
There were lots of steps to negotiate to our apartment and coupled with the hill down to the resort, I wouldn't recommend these apartments to the less able bodied or disabled.

| said: Very clean spacious apartment. Clean towels every day, linen changed twice. Breakfast buffet style. Good enough, but very repetitive, ie hot food consisted of boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and bacon: every day. Saying that, plenty of fruit, rolls, cereal, juice and the usual continental selection. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Spotless pool area but the water is very cold. Lifeguard on duty all day. The kiddies' paddling pool is like iced water. The hill approaching the complex is not for the less able bodied, shall we say. Its ok walking down to the beach (about 20 minutes), but walking back after a long day out is tiring (about 40 minutes), especially if you have fractious kids with you. If you are a young(ish), healthy adult it would be no problem. However, you can always get a taxi back up (about 3 euros). Lovely views from the apartments though.

| said: These apartments are definitely some of the best throughout los cristianos, they were very spacious and clean throughout. We travelled in may and the weather was very hot, most days it reached about 35 deg. The only two disadvantages with these apartments are that they do not have air conditioning and they are up quite a steep hill (but if you are OK with walking about 20-25 min into the main area then this will not be a problem).
I would definitely not recommend these apartments to anybody with walking difficulties.
The advantages definitely out-weigh the above, the rooms are very nice and modern with lots of space in all rooms.
Some of the apartments have lovely views, we were allocated a room on the fourth block that over looked the sea. The area around the apartments have some very nice restaurants just a little walk down the road, must mention Taylor's lounge very nice bar and food.
I would definitely return to these apartments if I was to return back to Tenerife.

| said: Decided to go away with our 2 year old for New Year. Booked last minute and really cheap. Had no expectations.
Apartments were fabulous, large, well-equipt, clean. Have not stayed in a larger apartment. Tip ask to stay in an even unmbered room as they are higher up and have better views.
Shop was well stocked and the bar served great drinks and snacks. Only fault was the amount of chain smoking Brits around the bar - why can't they put out their dirty habit in ashtray - key in the name ASH trays, its where you put your ash, not flicking on the floor or in the pool. Rant over - that was only fault.
Huge spar shop just down the road and a really good Indian restaurant too.
Only a couple of euros to the main town, if the walk is too much. Got taxis all over (only 10 euros to Eagle Park - make sure you keep an eye on the price, our taxi driver tried to rip us off, however the driver behind came to our resuce and had a real go at our driver!)
All in all a prefect little oasis for a sunny Christmas break - fabulous view of the fireworks on New Year's Eve too.

| said: Arrived boxing day. Apartment immaculate, clean, modern spacious, recently renovated.
Pool area spotless, heated pool, baby pool, pool bar serving snacks.
Apartments situated top of hill but we found the walk to the beach OK, 10-15 Min's.
Would recommend these apartments to families, nice relaxing base.
Entertainment minutes away 6 yr old daughter wants to book again she enjoyed it that much.

| said: Arrived home today, fantastic holiday. Oasis Mango was a lovely hotel, a very attractive hotel and very clean.
Our apartment was spacious and cleaned twice in our 7 night stay, the staff were very friendly, and helpful.
They had a good selection of food on their menu.
Nice clean pool.
The only thing that wasn’t very good was the entertainment, play your cards right, bingo, not to our taste.
The biggest let down was the location, the hotel is on top of a hill(cardiac hill)ok walking down, thank goodness for taxis very cheap(3euros.)
Overall a lovely hotel shame about that hill, would go again see you next year.

| said: Great basic clean cheap place to stay. Only 10 minute walk to the beach, weekly market and harbour.
Everything - 3 euros in a taxi.
Only 7 euros to Las Americas
Good trip to Mount Teide not if you don’t like heights.
Good whale trip.
And the wildlife parks are good Loro Park is the best!

| said: We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were very freindly and excellent at sorting any problems, if you had any! The apartments were very spacious and clean, with fresh bedclothes/towels at least twice a week. The on site restruant had a good selection of meals and snacks. The waitress/waiter service was particulary great, and expertly carried out by Tracy and Hesuse!? The supermarket catered for every family's needs.The pool area was great, and cleaned every day. Especially the small childrens pool set back from the main pool..Just ideal for a excited toddler. The location was a bit of a let down, but we did manage to walk up from the beach several times. Taxi's cost between 3(los C) to 5-7(Las A)euros. The only thing that was a bit scary was the evening entertainment!! A fixed game of Play Your cards right..followed by a "Top Dance Show or Singer". It helped if you had a few refreshments in you to watch.. Overall we wouldn't mind too much about coming back to Oasis Mango.

| said: Oasis Mango is one of the first Hotels in resort Los Cristianos. Very clean and furnished apartments, we were very impressed! Shop downstairs is very handy, bar is lovely and pool area fantastic! We had a fabulous time and would really recommend Oasis to anbody. Only disadvantage is that it is on a bit of a hill, not really ideal after a night out at the local bar watchin United win 4-2!!!!! Oasis Mango is definitely worth a visit, beautiful hotel!

| said: The appartment was very clean and all the staff more than happy to help with anything. Maid service, including linen and towel changing was very regular. The pool and pool side were also very clean.
The food in the restaurant was good. The entertainment was not really to our taste, so only really stayed to watch on 2 occaisons in our 14 night stay.
Yes the appartments were at the top of a very long drag of a hill - but I wouldn't call it that steep. The views from our balcony over the roof tops to the bay was excellent.
I would stay again in these appartments and would recommend them to anyone.

Starting with the positives it has excelent maids and staff who are always on the look out for something to do and help you with .the pool is attractive with rocks that may look dangerous but don't bother anyone ,very clean. There is a small arcade there which keeps everone amused as well as pool tables and table tennis and a small childrens park .If you don't want to miss your footie matches they are happy to put them on. the rooms were very comfy the kithen as you would find at home the bathroom good the shower a bit dodgy great veiws.the entertainment is very enjoyable with show based around a man and his 2 children and abba and elvis. Every night of the week a new show with a repeat game of bingo and play your cards right within you can win prizes . the food nice, barbecue every wednesday .drinks on sale in bar and minimarket.
reception people very good english. freindly.
the negtives are the not so imressive to walk up cardiac hill I would recomend a curtesy bus.there is always taxis .It says it is one floor but it is not. not very disabled freindly but there is a shortcut up the car park which is stair free.the rep mystery women hardly ever seen.book your own trips cheaper
to conclude I would go again if I had the chance 8/10

| said: These appartments were not suitable for people with heart conditions or any other disability. When we booked we were told that the appartments were on the flat and that it was totaly suitable for my wife, who has a heart condition. i am sory to say that even after reading other reports saying that the hill was not too steep, if you have a heart condition you may view things differently. I know that it was not a "holiday" for my family as my wife was unable to cope with the hill and the fact that the appartments were over six levels; despite the fact they are advertised over "One" level. This may be a good holiday for some, but not for people with special needs, who are told by the Travel Agent, that they are fine for your conditon.
The appartments were clean enough, spacious enough, and the food was okay, although nothing to write home about. The entertainment was only enjoyable if you were easily amused!! It was average going on boredom!!
The Staff in the restuaraunt were superb, espesially Tracey and Jesus(pronounced Hesuse)ut unfortunately that is not enough to make a holiday.
I am so pleased that other people enjoyed it, but so angry that my family wa miss-led by the travel company and badly let down by the so called Rep.

| said: The Oasis Mango was absolutely fabulous, as there were only two of us the apartments were very spacious and had anything you could want (kettle, microwave etc) although the apartments were fully kitted out with kitchen appliances we did very often go down to the restaurant where the food was excellent and the barstaff were very friendly (even at 3 in the morning when the bar closes!!) the entertainment staff ( barry and family) made the holiday thorougly enjoyable keeping us entertained (especially their son who could talk your ears off) for the whole week.
We also went on the medievel knights show that the reps organised and i would reccomend that to the world. I would definitely go back to this hotel again the rooms are cleaned often, we only got 1 cockroach and that was cos the window was left open, i cannot explain enough how friendlt the staff were in the restaurant (especially tracey, jesus - yes thats his name pronounced hesus though!!)

Although we stayed there on a self catering basis, we did actually eat a number of meals in the hotel restaurant, i have no complaints whatsoever regarding the food or the service. However portion size could have done with being a little bit bigger!
As the brochure states the oasis mango is situated on the quieter OUTSKIRTS of los cristianos so we already knew we would have to walk or use a taxi to get to the resort centre. Taxis were cheap, but this so called 'cardiac hill' was not much of a hill, ive trecked up worse!
Hotel entertainment was ok. It mainly featured a man named Barry Eastwood, his wife and his 2 children doing various singing and dancing shows. As well as play your cards right, the ever popular game of bingo and name that tune. The parrot show that they had on a saturday night was excellent!
The staff at oasis mango were polite and helpful. the staff in the restaurant/bar were great you never needed to move out of your seat to go to the bar because of the waiter service they provided.
The only thing which did not impress me about the oasis mango was, on the day of checking out, when we enquired about a courtesy room to get washed and changed in before our flight home, the reception staff said they could not provide one because the rooms were being cleaned and prepared for the next set of guests. We were told we could use the shower room/toilets next to the pool but we couldnt exactly use these showers because lots of people were still in and around the pool area, and could have wanted to use the toilet at any time. We ended up gettin a wash in the sink in the toilets by reception!
On the whole we liked Oasis Mango and are booking to go again next year!

These apartments are advertised as being on one floor where as they are actually on two floors over three levels with 21 stairs and a slope between each level. They are also situated at the top of a very steep hill known by the locals as "cardiac hill". This means that you would have to budget for taxis both down and up the hill which vary in price (using the boot costs you more!).

| said: This hotel maybe on a slightly steep hill but the stroll to and from the beach each day chilling out taking our time made for a great hols.
Staff excellent.
Met a couple who we now class as true friends and are meeting again next year in los christanos for 2 weeks.
A holiday is what you make it.

| said: On booking this holiday I explained my husband had arthiritis and could not walk up steps or hills, this hotel was selected for us, imagine our horror on arriving, cardiac hill and a thousand steps, not impressed.
Apart from that it was clean and quiet, and we did have a good holiday thanks to taxis, but no way would we go there again.
