| said: The Montana Pine we found to be average in every aspect. The food although plentiful, was repetitive.
It's location involves a steep walk down hill to catch a dolmus and the walk into Olu is long and dark.(It's nice to have an after dinner walk instead of taxi's). Despite this the hotel is favoured by 50+ age group, who are virtual prisoners due to the hill.
The staff; we never got to see the same waiter twice!
I have visited Istanbul while serving in the Merchant Navy and can honestly say that it had the most friendly people; but in this hotel we were treated with indifference, try Egypt or Tunisia for a warmer welcome
Entertaiment started too late, the nightly film shows even later. The in-room tv consisted of mostly BBC news, pay per view films would have been a nice alternative.
Our room stank of cigarette smoke, as did every meal, why can't they introduce no smoking dining areas and bedrooms?

| said: Montana Pine Resort Hisaronu Turkey the hotel was excellent in every way.
I travelled alone for the first time and was treated with respect and the staff could not have been more helpful.
Although quite isolated I didn't find any difficulty in getting to/around both Oluz Deniz and Hisaronu. I've been to the resort on many other occasions and so knew my way around.
Because of time of year and poor weather conditions when I was there the entertainment was very limited, but nevertheless amusing.
Food was excellent no complaints whatsoever.
Rooms beautiful and spotlessly clean. Staff, what can I say, brilliant.
Yes, I will visit again hopefully on many occasions.

| said: We have been to Turkey many times but this was our first time at Montana Pine.
I could not find fault with this excellent hotel.
The rooms were well maintained and kept spotlessly clean by daily cleaning from the very hardworking and always pleasant ladies who clean them. The whole hotel including pools and public areas are spotless and the gardens beautifully kept.
The food was varied and delicious, prepared by very professional and friendly chefs and all the staff in the bars and restaurants were friendly and helpful.
The staff at this hotel are the best I have ever encountered anywhere.
From arrival to departure, guests are made to feel special and welcome.

| said: What a fantastic Holiday we had staying at the Montana Pine. We were blown away but the beautiful panaramic views and mountains. We cannot say enough to give this hotel the credit it deserves and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were well presented and clean, the food was excellent in every way.(we enjoyed the outdoor barbeque)
The resort was a bit too far to walk anywhere but a short walk to the main road and a short journey on the bus in either direction took you to the town or the beach. Great!
The staff were very friendly and went out their way to make your holiday special.
The entertainment is varied and would not be to everyones taste, but was funny all the same. Our Daughter loved to participate and the kids club was fun for her.
Overall, we would recommend the Montana Pine for its excellence, style, welcome and finer touches (hotel holiday photos taken by professional photographer)
We'll be back!

Although we didn't need childrens club it was clearly excellent and enjoyed by all the children.
Food very good but became a bit repetitive by end of fortnight.
Set up in pine woods cooler and much more pleasant than coast.
Olu Deniz itself crowded hot and only visited once.
Boat trip from hotal excellent.
Brilliant deep large pool.
Would certainly visit again but only for a week.

| said: Hotel Montana Pine situated on the side of a steep hill. We stayed on a half board basis and enjoyed the food but the town of Hisoranu was close enough if you fancied a change of scene, and were on a BB basis taxi fare approx £4 each way, entertainment each night was provided by entertainers from Russia, goodness knows how they managed to keep awake as they worked in the bars and restaurants in the day.
While we would vist again we wish to point out that teenagers may get bored, this resort is mostly suited to couples without children and mature couples who are still quite fit, and the nearest beach is about 3 miles away.

| said: This was our first time in Turkey, and what a wonderful choice we made. Monatana Pine is spotless, in beautiful surroundings on the mountainside. It is set in gardens that are beautifully kept.
The food was buffet style, there was a wide selection every day and beautifully cooked, prepared and presented. Lots of fresh fruit, salad and vegetables as well as meat and fish dishes. A couple we met were virtually vegan and always found enough to eat.
The resort is located on the mountain side between Olu deniz and Hisoranu, it is a 20 minute walk or short dolmus ride into Hisoranu, you have to walk down the long drive though to catch the dolmus. It is a bus or taxi ride into Olu Deniz, but the hotel bus goes 3 times morning and afternoon and is free, and taxis are based at the hotel all of the time.
The hotel staff are excellent! They are polite and friendly and work very hard, some of them work all day and then are part of the entertainment team in the evening.
The entertainment was good what we saw, although we didn't watch it every night. We had a Turkish night and a gala dinner in the 2 weeks we were there, the Gala night was our last night. Representatives from all of the groups of staff were presented to us in a candlelit parade. There was a standing ovation. It was brilliant!
We had a wonderful relaxing holiday, the weather was excellent. Would we go back? Most definitely, I haven't stopped recommending it to my friends since we got home!

| said: The Montana Pine. Well what a lovely place for a holiday!! This was an excellent choice for a holiday. We were impressed from the outset.
The reception staff were friendly, helpful and kind. We were shown to our room, which was clean spacious and cool with an excellent shower room and adequate air conditioning. Due to personal choice we asked to change to another room and this was provided without question.
The Montana is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in whilst on holiday. The wonderful gardens and public areas are an absolute credit to staff and management.
The food is buffet style continental breakfast and dinner. We found the food to be fresh plentiful and varied.
The hotel location is remote and taxi ride to the resorts of Hisonaru and Olu Deniz. The Montana does offer a courtesy minibus to and from Olu Deniz morning and afternoon. However mobility could be an issue if you don’t like walking and you’re not fond of hills.
The staff are excellent and as I have said friendly and kind without an angle in my opinion, they work extremely hard to please.
The entertainment is mainly dance type shows however you will be encouraged to participate in various events throughout your stay. The animation team is small but well supported by the food and beverage team.
We would certainly visit the Montana again!
Have a great holiday we did.

| said: We stayed at this hotel for 1 week and found it to be absolutely brilliant. The staff were extremely friendly and never moaned when we kept the bar staff up to early hours (they dont close bar till you've had enough).
The entertainment was a bit iffy but the entertainer was really good and great fun. The rooms were cleaned every day and done properly with towel changed etc. The whole hotel was spotless.
The food was good with ample choice and no-one in our party had a stomach upset. The location wasn't brilliant its not in either Hisaronu or Olu Denize but the hotel has a taxi rank which was very cheap and they allowed all five of us to pile in.
The only moan I have is that all 3 pools were absolutely freezing but that maybe because we were there in October. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and could not praise it enough.

| said: We stayed at this hotel during last 2 weeks September 2004
It is rated as a 4/5 star, and is worthy of this rating. It is set on a hillside above Hisaronu,, up a steep, windy road, approx 600metres long. It makes it a little isolated, but the views are worth it. The layout of the hotel is excellent, with well tended gardens, 3 different pools, a buffet restaurant and an a La Carte also. You can eat as much as you like at the buffet for 20ML (£7.50), and although there is plenty of choice, I personally felt it was more geared to Dutch/German taste, which was understandable, as they outnumbered the British guests. The food was ok, but I wouldn’t rate is as great. The a la carte was served around the pool each evening, but was not very well attended, I assume because most people were on half or full board, whereas we were B&B. We felt the food served here was better than the buffet. Wine was reasonably priced (for a hotel), starting at approx. 18.5ML. We did eat a couple of times in Hisaronu and the food was no better than the hotel ( it was also more costly, which was surprising).
The rooms were very nice and cleaned daily and many had wonderful views across valleys. The air conditioning was adequate, if fairly noisy. There were always plenty of activities to participate in if you were inclined to, which was a good way of getting to know other people. Water Gym, Rifle shooting, Darts, table Tennis were available. All the staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. We went on a couple of trips – Fetiye market(we spent time around the harbour – be careful eating in cafes, I got food poisoning). We also went on a bout trip, using the hotel’s own boat. Although this is more expensive( £25) than ones you can obtain in the village, I felt it was worth it, as they limit the number of passengers to a maximum of 12. A wonderful day was had, plenty of swimming, good food, and champagne just before docking in evening. Not impressed with Hisaronu or Olu Deniz (very commercialised), but couldn’t fault hotel

The staff are incredibly helpful; friendly without being obsequious, so much so, we feel like one of the family now.
I would recommend this hotel to all and the Turkish people make your holiday a real treat. It is the best run and cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in.
We are there again next month for 2 weeks.

| said: The hotel was fabulous. One, if not the best, hotel I have stayed in - and I have travelled extensively all over the world.
The grounds are beautiful with masses of Honeysuckle, Roses, Bougainvillea and Jasmine so when you stroll through the grounds, the scent of flowers is everywhere. It is quite haven-like, set amongst pine forests. The views are breathtaking.
The bedrooms are prettily decorated, clean and well-maintained. The only minus point is they don't provide room service probably due to the vast layout of accommodation.
As the hotel is set up high in the mountain and reached by a fairly long winding road it is somewhat cut-off. The good side of that is the views and tranquility. The downside being if you want to go to Hisaronu or Olu Deniz, except for a courtesy bus once a day you must either walk (a real trek) or take a taxi, which are not particularly cheap.
The breakfasts are to die for. They have everything on offer to suit all tastes and have a wide variety of freshly-baked breads - the best I've ever tasted. The coffee however was pretty dismal. The lunches and dinners were perfectly acceptable, there was nothing to complain about but there is room for improvement.
The drinks in the bar are pretty pricey by Turkish standards but that's to be expected. They had a singer/guitarist who I thought was excellent. His music mainly consisted of easy-listening style music probably suited to middle-aged guests. They did have this strange animation show which was meant to be a comedy type thing, but frankly, it was quite childish and out of sync with the hotel atmosphere. The belly dancer was great fun and was well worth watching.
The hotel staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The head barman, Ertugrul, was so friendly, amusing and chatty that people just sat around the bar all night as he gave such a great feel to the place. They were all polite and courteous and really made you feel welcome. In fact, we loved the place so much we returned the next month.
