Enjoying lovely views in a peaceful location, amid cool forestry, this is the perfect choice for those seeking somewhere secluded ' but with easy access to the buzz and beach of Marmaris. This is a modern and relaxing aparthotel, with good on-site facilities. Access to and within the hotel makes it unsuitable for wheelchair users.

just returned fromclub seray our first time in turkey it was fabulous we upgraded to half board as it was real good value for money the hotel was very clean and rooms were cleaned daily, as for the hotel staff you couldnt fault them nothing was too much trouble and they were all friendly, it is a bit out of the way but a free shuttle bus does run from the hotel and the dolmus in only 1 lira and it only takes 5 - 10 mins to get into the centre of marmaris but we all preferedwhere we were to the centre of marmaris the turkish bath is a must and also the sunsplash cruise with thomson well worth the money and the views are spectacular,,,, cant wait to go again although there are rumours that thomson will not have sereay forest opn its books next season i hope this is wrong as it is one of the best holidays we have ever had,,,

myself, wife and two girls arrived 3am, having been to turkey 10 times before we were used to this,we have stayed in many hotels, most have been excellent, one or two dodgy ones.club serey was everything you needed for a great holiday, staff were friendly, room was great, view amazing, cleaned every day, with two gilrs, the maids had their work cut out.towels shaped like swans, flower petals scattered on beds, nice touch.the pool was very clean although not happy that pint glasses allowd poolside, many got smashed, not very clever.kidzone was basic, mostly facepainting, small shop very basic, not the supermarket advertised.good for breakfasts tho.turkish bath a must, hairdresser ozzy nice bloke, kemal the restaurant boss very friendly.distance to town was ok,free bus 4 times a day, local dolmus onlt 40p and run til 1am,with only a short walk up a steeeeep hill.we are going back 15 oct this year, ten of us this time,im sure it will be just as good.this month is end of season, things close, hotels start to wind down, you may see men start ti empty some parts of hotel when tour there, but thats turkey,i love the country and would move tomorrow,go to turkey openminded, youll love it or hate it.enjoy.

Having got the best price in 30 year ever, (Thompson late deal) the 4 of us were just happy to be here in the sun 40 – 50c, after midnight dropping to 29 – 33c great by the pool.
The hotel is a good 3 star with air conditioning £4 a day extra but you will be happy to pay it in these temps!
The maids work hard for a tip at end of stay, and did a great job every day, providing you are out of apartment by 10am.
This is the only holiday we have been on, were no one got bit by mosquitos !
There seems to be a shortage of 40 sun beds round pool and some are broken, so get up early, the entertainment staff work hard during the day, and provide pool games ‘net ball joisting’ as well as bar pool and football and Serge and Ailiya get the get the kids and adults playing some blinding football at 4 ish each day, then you appreciate the pool to cool down! It is Serges last year, and he will be a tough act to follow!
Don’t miss the Turkish night it is not to be missed a lot of the entertainers do the circuit in Marmaris but you will get to see half a dozen here, favs were the blues break dancers and the belly dancer.
The supermarket is worst I have ever seen very basic strong dark, beer water etc. but just out the hotel door down bank 2 mins on the left is a well stocked supermarket, and a little further on right fresh fruit and veg ‘great melons’.
Turkish massage is recommended if you have never had one, sports massage for the men, body scrub for ladies but get it early before sun burn clicks in, I got mine elsewhere but there is one on site ‘the smoking put me of, there is also a hairdresser Oscar, hope his hair styling is better than his football! A jewelers I saw nice jewelry all over turkey but I thought it was expensive and you need to barter!
A photographer good for catching those moments if you don’t have a camera of your own.
Management seem a bit wingy maybe overworked or worried about the sunbeds one seemed to break everyday, but they should have cushioned covers on em.
I found the hotel debit card system ok, I kept my receipts and they did checkout it is easy to forget what u spend.
Marmaris is certainly better than Alanya, the other Turkish place I have been and a lot less hassle, from the traders here, very quiet and polite if u compare to Tenerife, were I would use the line’ tourist Percy Ormicron I 8’ and keep walking, here at peak time a No Thank you works quite well.
The reps are fine at the hotel and offer trips each day, a bit dearer than going direct with the local tour companies (an all day trip i.e. ‘Dalyan – waterfalls-tombs-mudbaths-labyrinth & turtle beach’ including food will cost about £17) all will drag u to a jewelers!
Talk of the Town’ gets a lot of hype! It is OK but well over priced.it is on the beach, i walked down to it the first day, it took an hour, so best get the bus for 1 lire!
If you are a couple, Ichmellar ‘the place with the nice beach’ has an eccentric arty restaurant the ‘Mona Titti’ well worth a visit, and not far from the Wednesday open market, best buys around! See the rep….

Stayed here last year. Very bad cleanliness this year. Hotel going down hill, only changed linen and towels once a week.

Service at bar/resterant terrible, very slow food basic but OK.

You get used too going up hills after a few days but buses are very cheap so not too bad.

Staff not as happy this year, Manager very hard to work with, two members of staff left while we were there, takes kids off pool tables before thier time is up ,but only when the parents aren't there!

Also the card system of payment money kept dissapearing from it.

Very unhappy will not be back to this hotel again.

We have just returned from club seray for the second time and are already looking to return this year. This hotel is absolutely AMAZING!!!
The staff work endlessly to keep you happy especially Benjamin, Yelcin and Sergio!!! Everybody is polite and they all greet you with a smile.Entertainment is great for young kids but i know every word to every song now haha.
You must experience the Turkish massage only £20 and totally relaxing, I felt squeaky clean afterwards, well worth the money. The food in the hotel was cheaper than any restaraunt and came in large portions.
There is a jewellery shop, souvenir shop, hairdressers, supermarket and tattooist on site.
Rooms are cleaned daily also clean towels and bedding daily.
If you are going to do a day trip, kids or not, you have to do the jeep safari!!! One of the best days of my life so far. Book at Nostradamus with Katie and Tommy and ask for Tarzan to be your driver he is soooo funny.
Well thats enough from me for now. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so AMAZING again, hopefully see you all in october xxxxx

we have just returned from the seray last monday had a great time as usual , we have been to this hotel 3 times since last june and hope to go back this september hotel has fantastic views over marmaris and is situated in an excellent area for families with young kids, away from busy roads but just 5 mins from centre on dolumus, do not be put off by the hill as we found it great and my kids are only young no problem with pushchair, the hotel rooms are very clean and the staff are great they always look after you , the hairdresser in the hotel is great and cheap,
this is a very nice hotel the only sad thing is having to leave myself and my family cant wait to return an excellent choice

Hotel Rooms were basic but very clean, maids changed bed linen and towels every day, rooms kept very clean, maid was very pleasant, left little flowers on our pillows and left notes welcoming us to the hotel.

Staff were great, very pleasant and eager to help whenever needed, restaurant manager Kemal, very polite and helpful as were all the waiting staff, food was good, very good choice of menu and very reasonable prices, drinks were almost as expensive as food though! Entertainment Staff, Oscar, Sergio etc were fab, kept everyone amused and very funny, entertainment was good throughout the time we were there.

Jeweller was very pushy, however once told no sale, he left us alone. We had turkish bath and massages while we were there, excellent and well worth doing.

Hotel was further out from town than we anticipated however it did offer a shuttle service every day, however we liked it, it was quiet and away from the noise of the town and safe and secure for couples with families.

Only one complaint, we paid for air conditioning to be switched on and it wasnt, when queried, staff denied I paid for it! However after making a fuss they put it back on and apologised for their mistake.

All in all a great hotel and I will definitely visit there again next year.

We arrived at our hotel at 4am and the receptionist was very pleasant. The rooms were quite basic and clean.

The first morning down to the pool we were greeted by the massage man who was trying to flog us a massage for £20, we explained that we had just arrived and would think about it but a few hours later he was round the pool trying to flog one again and again the next day so after that we tried avoiding him.

Then the barman started flogging DVD's which we bought because my husband could'nt go to the bar without DVD's being mentioned(out of 6 only 4 worked).

Also the cleaner would leave little notes on the beds so you'd leave her a tip at the end of the holiday!(which we did'nt mind they work hard).

The pool area was nice and clean and maybe a bit smaller than it looked in the brochure. There was a tatooist and hairdressers, jewellers and a shop which was probably around the same price as other supermarkets, the girl spoke very good English and was very pleasant.

Instead of carrying cash around you put money onto a hotel credit card and this could be used at reception, shop and bar, a good idea.

The entertainment through the day was a couple of young men doing games in the smimming pool, snooker water polo etc which the kids enjoyed.

There was lady who worked at the hotel who would take photo's of the kids through the day, you could get the photos onto plates, cups etc, she would stop us on a night and show us but the photos were'nt great(son hates photo being took) and when I said no thank you I got a dirty look and she started speaking Turkish to her work collegues slagging me off!

The hairdressers one male one female were lovely and would stop for a chat without trying to flog a hair cut in fact my husband got a shave and a hair cut and they'd done a good job.

We only stayed in the hotel bar once and the evening entertainment was a magic show which was'nt bad, we often saw the same people in the bar on a night so entertainment must have been ok.

I had a pizza one night which was'nt the nicest but my husband had pasta and said it was beautiful.

The hotel is 3.5km from the town which could be a bit of a pain, we had to get a dolmus bus into town which took around 10 mins.

There was always dolmus buses passing the trouble was we had a pushchair so had to quickly fold it up and jump on which was sometimes a problem if the bus was full.

Nice hotel shame it is'nt closer to town.

My boyfriend my son and I stayed in Club Seray last week and had the best time ever.

The hotel was spotless, the maid called every morning to see if we needed anything.

We ate at the hotel most days good food and good portions.

The hill that the hotel is on isnt as bad as Id thought and the dolmus at the bottom is only 1 lira and takes you anywhere you want.

The staff are amazing couldnt do enough for us. Sergio and Oscar made it een better by really working hard to keep everybody entertained.

We will definatly be back next year.

We have just returned from 10 days at the Serey Forest in Armutalan/Marmaris.

I think this aparthotel is very good value for the money we paid. Although, you could tell it was getting towards the end of the season. There was no entertainment, the jewelery shop closed down, the internet cafe closed down, the shop had the very bare essentials and there were no ice creams for sale as you've guessed it 'end of season'! So be careful and selective with what you are wanting out of your holiday if you intend to book late season. It was fine for us as we just used it as a base and ate out every day. The pool area is clean and tidy, the rooms are always cleaned every day, and the maids leave flowers for you etc. There is a steep hill, but the dolmus drops you quite near to the bottom of the worst hill. At night it is extremely dark (no lighting) up the hill. All staff were very pleasant, but do watch out for the Turkish Bath/Massage chap, he patrols the area and if you have not been one of his victims he will hound you. Myself and my daughter had the bath and massage and then when we came to pay it was far far more than he had quoted! He was telling us how beneficial it was and he and his ladies who provided the massage smoked like chimneys. Not very pleasant when they are leaning over you!!

I would go back again to the Serey Forest, but there are so many other nice areas to visit.

The hotel was very clean, maids every day and pool cleaned every morning.

We were self catering,we only had breakfast and ate out most of the time. The food at the hotel is ok but not great.

The hotel is miles from the beach and right at the top of a hill. Once you figure out the dolmus(mini-bus)there is no problem getting round.

The staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. They were great.(I thought all the turkish people were very friendly)T

here was nightly entertainment and Turkish nights twice a week, all great fun and the Turkish nights have got to be tired at least once!My overall opinion of the hotel means.

I will definitely be going back again.

We thought the hotel overall was very clean and the maids came every day.

The location was on a steep hill but not that bad, which had dolmus and taxis available at the bottom of the hill.

Food was great we ate there every night.

Entertainment team (Oscar, Grace and Sergio)were fantastic kept all ages entertained day and night.
Hotel staff (Onur, Jewellery shop, Danny Leather shop Owner, Ibo, Murat, Kemal, mustafa, Ali, Waiters, Pete Receptionist, Sunny, Massager, Ozzy hairdresser) all great and always had a laugh and a joke with us no matter what time of day it was.

What a lovely resort! Perfect for us with our two children(4 and 7 years old).

Wonderful weather, extremely clean everywhere and considering my two kids were in the pool from morning until night not a single problem! We were worried when we read previous reports as our children have grommits and are prone to ear infections!

All staff were friendly and polite, food was good and cheap and the entertainment amusing!

Little touches made all the difference- the maids sprinkle flower petals on you beds when they came to service the apartment!

Everything was brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Seray forest this year. The hotel was fantastic and the entertainers were amazing with all the children entertainment for all ages catered for.

The staff here were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel also has a jewellery shop here and with the gold being so inexpensive here and fantastic quality you have buy some, just wish id known then id have come with intention to buy more. We were self catering but the food at the hotel was so cheap we ate here every night and the food was excellent quality we always had fantasic service with a smile. It really was our pleasure to stay here for our family holiday and will be returning next year.

Thanks to all the staff for a truely memorable holiday

After dreading going to this resort because of the awful reviews we read on this site we were so pleasantly surprised/shocked!

The hotel was immaculate and very clean, the staff polite and so friendly. They really could not do enough for us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.

The pool was fantastic, food was great and reasonably priced. We all had a Turkish massage (kids too!) which was lovely - highly recommended.

The entire holiday was perfect and we will definitely be going back -not just to Turkey but to this resort.

Arrived on 17th of October to find hotel already starting to wind down for closing on the 31st.

During the course of our stay the hotel ran out of bacon, eggs, draught beer(only expensive bottles could be bought)and when anyone complained to the owner they were just told "if you dont like it get your things and go"The indoor pool was closed 3 days before the hotel closed, the internet cafe was also closed as was the sauna and the whole of the downstairs floor was closed on the last day.

I know we went late in the year but this was our family holiday. It just felt like we should have handed our money over when we arrived, then turned around and got back on the plane, it was that bad!On the plus side if there is one, the 2 girls who did the entertainment were very good.

Avoid this hotel!

Board Basis: Unless you wanted toast every day, the two rings provided to cook on were pretty pathetic but we chose to eat out so didn't matter

Cleanliness: basic rooms which had a cursory clean daily if the cleaners bothered to come in - no clean towels or sheets in a week but you did get them if you went and asked. Some of the area round the pool was literally just dirt on the ground which could easily be seeded with grass. The result of this was that kids ran in and out onto a wet pool area and turned the area into a dirty mud bath. Sun loungers weren't washed and the whole area left a lot to be desired.

Food: food a pool bar ok for a snack and not too expensive but chips with everything

Location: ok for us but could see a problem with pushchairs or elderly people as up a very steep hill which the buses don't go up

Staff: the odd smile but basically a grumpy lot - maids didn't seem to clean much but had the cheek to put an envelope under the door on our last day expecting a tip !

Entertainment - I suppose the reps tried but basically pretty poor

Been too turkey three times and wouldn't let this hotel put me off but if it had been my first visit I wouldn't go back.

We stayed here in Sept/Oct 2005.

The location is up a steep hill, no good for people with prams or walking difficulties.

We saw cleaners every day but they didn’t do much, (it’s a case of quick tidy up the cleaners are coming).

We didn’t stay much at the apartments, we got the courtesy bus down to the point centre and went on to beach front to a place called talk of the town/cheers, it is a fantastic place and all the staff make a fuss of you and your children.

Prices have gone up though and we were paying £2 a pint for lager, it’s the same for a pint of coke as well.

When you go to Turkey please go on a jeep safari, nothing to do with animals as a lot of people think, it’s a great day out and brings a family closer together, can't say anymore or I spoil the surprise.

Hotel on a steep hill although a shuttle bus provided free of charge.

Rooms very clean, but service in bar and cafe are very poor, unless you have young girls when you will be swamped, to the extent you get pestered!

Always check your bill, lots of extras added occasionally, especially if you have teenagers, same excuse the teenagers had this and that when you were out. Unfortunately we caught them out, cause our teenagers were with us!

Not enough sun beds. Pool not very clean, passable with care, lots had eye and ear infections.

Go down the hill into Armutalan and lovely pubs and shops and a lovely chemist where they speak fluent English.

I wouldn't go back to this hotel.

We stayed at club seray forest. Location as fine, 5 minute walk to the supermarket and restraunts. Regular buses to take you into town.

Food at hotel was great and so was the cleanliness. Maid was round all the time and really friendley. Hotel staff were brilliant, really friendley and helpful and great with the kids.

Entertainment was great especially the breakdancers. Even though there was no kids zone the kids were never bored and they really enjoyed it. Couldn't fault the place, met loads of really nice people and cant wait to go back.

I stayed at the Club Seray Forest for two weeks with my family. After 3 days my husband and two sons came down with serious ear infections as did a lot of other families. Trips to the doctors was a frequent event for hotel guests. The ear infections were due to the uncleanliness of the pool when we reported to the hotel staff they did not want to know. Eventually after a lot of complaining from us and other families the pool was brought up to a reasonable standard. If you want to swim safely and not have your holiday ruined stay elsewhere.

Cleanliness overall was very poor. Will not be going back.

Do not let children go into internet café as sites are not restricted and young children can wonder in and see things that they would not be allowed to see at home.

The food was bad. I was there for 2 weeks and my bed was changed once.

The staff were overworked and tired looking. The customer service lady was lovely and very helpful. My son caught a very bad ear infection from the pool and was taking to hospital and givin injections in his bottom for 2 days the location was good.

It was peaceful some of the bar staff where sourfaced but there was a few that were very nice and good with the kids.

I loved Mamaris but not this hotel. Tthere were extra expences as well, like the toilet rolls you had to buy your own.

The cooking facilities where 2 small rings and a toaster the air condition leaked I would go back to Marmaris but stay elsewhere.

I’ve just came back from Club Seray Forest and what a great time I had.

The staff are very friendly(Kemal, Kemil, Ozzy, Faith, Sercan, Charli, Musti and Walkie).

There was entertainment on nearly every night. and Wednesdays there is a Turkish night cost you £10 and what a waste of money it is.

There are 2 restaurants just 5 mins away (TJ,s and Mustis) very nice.

I would go back next year to see all my mates.

The cleanliness upon arrival was terrible, the bathroom was disgusting and our toilet was broken which took 24hours to fix.

There was good maid service although they tended to work at seperate ends of the corridor and shout at each other which did not allow for some peaceful time in the appartment.

Hotel location was quite out of the way although they did offer a free shuttle service.

Hotel staff could not speak english which is why it took 2 days for someone to switch my air conditioning on.

Thomson rep was helpful and the bar staff were great and friendly. Did not eat at hotel as other patrons advised against it. My daughter slipped at pool and there was no Kidzone as advertised which meant trying to keep a 6 year old amused around a terrible 'playground'

I stayed one week at this hotel.

Room was ok with plenty of hot water and good cooking equipment. The poolside was very slippery and kids slipping all the time. I fell down the stairs which were wet and broke my leg in 3 places.

The treatment from the staff I recieved was a disgrace and if it was not for the English guests who helped me out in the 5 days I had to wait to come home I would have been stumped!

I cannot thank them enough!!

Do yourself a favour - go somewhere else

I have just returned from a brilliant holiday in Marmaris Turkey and stayed at a lovely apartment, the rooms were very nice and spacious, the cleaner came in every other day and made some lovely designs with the towels and one day she even left flower petals on them.

Our first week there was a bit quiet but I like it like that, our second week was a lot noisier and more entertainment was laid on both during the day and in the evening.

We didnt really stay around the apartment on a night we always went out,the dolmus is just down the road and its 1 lira each to take you into the town centre/ beach front, there is a photographer and hairdresser at this apartment but they dont pester you.

The only downside about this apartment is its location and steep hill, however it didnt bother us at all.

We just got back from the Club Seray Forest apartments. The hotel was very clean the only disappointment was they didn’t change the bedding and towels as often as I would have liked.

The hotel food was ok nothing special but was ok for snacks when we stayed by the pool for the day.

The hotel is a bit out of the way but you can catch the dolmus which is 1 lira each and it takes you right down to the front where there is a lot more to do.

The hotel staff are really friendly and the bar staff will have fun with you.

The entertainment was ok again nothing special and it's the same things every week also if the bar isn’t full they will cancel all entertainment.

The pool area is very slippery and me little boy and partner fell a few times. The children’s play area was dangerous everything was broken, a lot of the stuff was on tin sheeting and it burnt the kids feet and it was all broke wouldn’t advise anyone to let they children up there.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the Seray in Sept 2004.

The room was great lots of space, however a grill would have been handy considering we were on a sc holiday. The room was kept very clean although the towels were sometimes not changed and we were left with no towels on two occasions.

The hotel food was acceptable although we preferred to venture outside the hotel to eat and found two wonderful restaurants ( Musti's and Tj's) fab food and great value for money.

The hotel staff were fine although appeared extremely over worked and tired at times.

The only real complaint I would have would be the lack of entertainment at this hotel. If you are looking to spend time at the hotel and experience the entertainment I feel you will be disappointed.

Also the hotels in door pool is not ideal and is gloomy and appears quite dirty, the gym and hotel shop is also very minimal.

One other thing before I go beware of the phographer there is no escape!!!!

BORING is the best way to describe this place.

Brochure advertises a lot of stuff that basically doesn't exist, such as entertainment every night, disco's etc, we stayed for 2 weeks and there wasn't one disco and the entertainment on several nights was the showing of a film, big wow! Could have stayed at home for that.........

Air con very expensive, cooking facilities poor, hotel food not great, rep trips over priced, pool dirty, sheets not changed more than once in two weeks, need I go on????

Longest two weeks of my life, many others also made same complaints as us, nothing was done, many disgruntled guests!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
TJ's bar great place, marmaris town nice but pushy shop owners ruin it, if you like to just 'browse' don't go to turkey! pretty good 'fake' products and overall we spent a fortune because Turkey was not as 'cheap' as we had been led to believe by the travel agent!

We stayed last August Self Catering. Hotel was reasonably clean but on the first floor we had no change of bedding for over a week, although people on other floors seemed to be ok.

Service at poolside bar very slow and often got orders wrong. Be careful about being overcharged if you have a bar bill, best to pay cash each visit.

Pool reasonably clean. Rooms spacious and good view over Marmaris Bay (if you had room at front of hotel). Buy a fan, cheaper than renting one and it works.

The supermarket(Tanzas)in marmaris best to buy one (about £8.00 for a good one). Beware of the photographer, she always hassles as does the hairdreser. Check price of hairdresser!! Many guests complained about him.

No entertainment at all. Only one BBQ (Turkish night) and what a waste of money.

Wouldn't stay here again!

The hotel was great especially the staff (ozay, volcan, apo, refik and kemel!)They made the holiday even better. The food at the hotel is nice and also most of the restaurants in the villages around the resort are nice aswell.Entertainment was offered most nights and the waiters are also very entertaining. The hotel is clean and the maid is around everyday and once a week she will make a lovely flower and towel display on the beds.Air conditioning is a good idea to get in the summer as it was very hot at night. The only two miserable faces around the complex was the owner and the manager who weren't approachable and who didn't seem to appreciate the amount of work that the workers in the hotel were doing. They can be working from 8am-2am four days in a row and then start later the next few days but they will still have a smile on their faces and are always friendly. They all speak very good english aswell. The hotel is situated at the top of a hill but it's not that much of a problem. The dolmus driver sometimes will drop you off at the bottom or if you're lucky at the top but it's not that much of a steep hill anyway. It is located far enough away form the hustle and bustle of the town but the town is easy to get to with courtesy buses from the hotel and the dolmus.

we have just come back from seray forest and had the best holiday ever, we thought the hotel was very clean.we are planning to go back again next year.Entertainment was good and food was very cheap and very nice.the staff made the holiday complete they were all very friendly and helpful and always had time for you.
The owner and the manager was normally there some time during the day, but never seemed very approachable.would be better if had a grill or similer in rooms, air conditioning would be better in living room so children would have slept better at night, but these are suggestion rather than complaits we had a fantastic holiday so much so we are going back.

The hotel was lovely and clean and so was the outdoor pool/area. Only down fall for the pool area was that there wasn’t enough sun beds to go around.

The food was excellent but not a lot of choice if you’re a veggie but other than that it would be brought to you hot and with a smile.

The location was ok, there are a few shops and bars in walking distance away from the hotel but it is only a short distance to the town/beach on a bus and it will only cost you about 25p anyway to get there.

What made my mum and I enjoy this holiday was the fact that the staff were really really nice especially APO, he made our holiday a wonderful one with his charm and kindness he would always have a smile on his face even if it was late at night, and he had been on his feet for long hours [13hours.] He would always be there keeping us smiling and telling us to wake up.[heehee] But one thing about him that was different to the rest of the staff was the fact he was always clean and fresh looking and always dressed smart from head to foot and smelling nice.[We love him] But to all the staff Ozzy, Refik, Sunny, ect they where brill, only down fall was the owner and manger were so grumpy and straight face you didn’t know whether to look at them or not. But it was a brill holiday and I would recommend it to anyone.

Although at first glance this apartment block looks very nice, inside it is a very different story!

We booked for 3 weeks at this place, having seen that it offered a kitchen with fridge and cooker! The cooker was a 2 ring hob! Twice weekly bed change meant that the sheets were turned over and put back on the bed. This cannot be disputed as I saw the maid do it! The walls are paper thin and the bathrooms of each apartment are vented to-gether, so whatever is going on in your neighbours bathroom, you know about it! We found the on-site hairdresser and photographer to be a real pain, constant hassle, and I DO mean constant, they would approach you 6/8 times a day to have a haircut, shave or buy some photos.

Air-con is an extra for some customers. £4 per 12 hours (7pm till 7am), but the air-con unit is tiny and is only sufficient to cool the bedroom, anyone sleeping on the sofas in the living room would be baking, so they rent out fans at £10 per week. Total cost for a family of 4 in July would be at least £76.

The staff (with the exception of Musti and Apo) were sullen and appeared to be terrified of the manager and the owner. Most staff spoke little or no English.

We booked through Manos, who advertised that this place have an indoor pool. It does. But you would be unlikely to want to put a toe in it. It is dirty, dark and smells awful. the fitness centre consists of 5 or 6 clapped out machines, it is also a bit grotty. We were told that the sauna and jacuzzi were out of order. A disco is advertised, we stayed for 3 weeks in the middle of July and didn't see or hear one disco night!

I could go on and on about compaints I have about this hotel, but instead of boring you, I'll just advise you all not to stay there if you have an alternative!

The hotel was quite nice and the apartments spacious; the maid service was also excellent. A downfall was that the hotel was at the top of an extremely high hill which most dolmus drivers refused to drive up. Definitely not ideal for anyone who has mobility problems or asthma.

Our holiday was spoiled initially by sleepless nights caused by drunken brawls in the complex, which were not very well controlled by security staff; however once the trouble makers returned home we tried to enjoy our holiday.. under the ever watchful eye, and scowling face of the hotel owner, who didn't appear to want his customers to enjoy themselves.

The pool bar/restaurant staff and receptionists were a different story; they were amusing, caring, wonderful people who tearfully saw us to our coach at the end of the holiday... six of them, Ozay, Musti, Volcan, Sunny, Kamil(1) Kamil(2)!!(We Love you). They were a delight and a credit to the sour faced owner and the equally sour faced hotel manager.

No, we would not want to return to the Seray Forest again; Alcatraz would possibly offer more leeway for enjoyment(without the continual presence of the hotel photographer who made a positive nuisance of herself).

The hotel was mainly very clean, with the maid coming every day. The beds were changed often, and the rooms were cleaned every day.

The main reception area was kept clean and tidy, and the outdoor pool area was always clean.

On one occasion I had a meal in the hotel, and I was very impressed with the service. It was very quick and very tasty.

The staff always managed a smile, even though at times they looked extremely tired and over worked. I spoke to one person, Erdem Sen, (yes I still love you) he worked from 8pm till 3am.

There were a couple of entertainment nights, such as a fire eater, Turkish dancers, barbecue...

The children’s play area was ok, but there was not much there. The staff were all very kind and smiley all the time, despite the sour faced owner. When it was time to leave, there were lots of tears and hugs. I would definitely go back again, in fact, I'm planning my next holiday already!!!

We visited this hotel with Airtours in 2002 and felt we got a bad deal for what we paid for our holiday. The hotel was sold as a 4 star which it is definately not.
However we loved the distance from town...short bus journey from the road outside got you into the hustle and bustle of Marmaris, but at club seray it was really peaceful.

We went flight only the following year and stayed for four nights at club seray before trying out somewhere in icmeler it worked out really cheap and we knew this time what to expect. The food was really ropey apart from buffet night so don't go half board! But it was clean friendly and peaceful.
