| said: If you come to Saffron Apartments expecting to actually be able to prepare your own meals in the apartment's kitchen area, then you're in for a disappointment. You get a two ring kitchen-top unit and that's it. No kettle, toaster, oven, grill. You do get a fridge, but ours had the top freezer section door missing and it consequently dripped inside constantly, and the door didn't close properly. Basic cutlery is provided, along with one saucepan, one frying pan, four plates and three bowls. No tea towels or dishcloths. The crack is that they want you to eat out, preferably at the hotel restaurant, and providing what you need to make your own meals is not in anyone's interests except yours.
Noise: don't expect to be able to escape loud disco music and doors constantly slamming until 12am when it all stops. At Saffron there's a small swimming pool facing the main street, but it is quite small. Take your own towels as you can't use theirs at the pool. Our two bedroomed apartment was in fact one bedroom and one living room with sofa beds, and the air con (£20 a week extra) was a unit in the bedroom only – none in the rest of the apartment.

We are going again this year it will be the 11th time at the apartments. They will do anything for you nothing is to much trouble for them. Adnans family (owner) are all lovely. Everyone at the apartments make you feel so welcome. We have had fancy dress there and they join in with everything.
We eat there everyday the food is lovely nothing ever wrong you want something they will do it for you right away.
The location is brilliant it close to everything you it takes only 10 minute walk to the beach and there is a little supermarket over the road.
The staffs there are everything you would want to entertain you. Michael a member of the staff there we have saw him grow up through the years makes us laugh all the time. I don’t no what to say love this lad he is brilliant for entertainment you don’t need anyone at the apartments for entertainment, the staff do it for you.
The hotel is very clean its cleaned everyday.
Well as you can see we love this place and we will be going back in years to come.

The apartments are only a short walk away from the beach and the bars so thats good.
The staff are amazing!! Jay, leo, dino and Jacob were great fun.
There isn't really much entertainment to be honest but you still have a laugh when drinking in the apartments, all the lads do some crazy dances. So Funny.
I would defiantley go back here again.

Food in restaurant was great, as we could not cook for 4 people on only 2 electric rings
Only 10 mins walk to beach,
Staff were very friendly until we ate and drunk elsewhere and then they sulked and would not talk to us.
Entertainment was a Turkish belly dancer on one night per week only.
We will visit Marmaris again but we will not be staying at this hotel.

| said: The cooker was 2 small ring's,no oven or toaster. The maid was in every day but Sunday which was ok.
The food was fine.
The location was not bad 10 min to the beach walking or a No2 bus for 1L. Every time you leave the hotel you are asked where you are going which is a bit off putting. They always want you to eat at the bar.
The air conditioning is £20 a week with the control screwed to the wall so you can't adjust it,(take a screw driver)
The pool is quite small but clean.
Ahmed is a gent, Jacob is a pain he never leave's you alone till you tell him in no uncertain term's.
The strong box is £10 a week.
The boss is very quiet but ok, all the family are always about.

From the Manchester fans (Kevin, Judith, and son Daniel) the Gibsons. Remember Dino who on Daniels birthday he got his MUFC top who never took it off for 2 weeks.

Both the owner and staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble if you wanted anything all you had to do was ask. At no time were we pressured into eating at the apartments nor did the staff make you feel awkward for not doing so.
The food was second to none we ate in quite a few restaurants the food that was served at the Saffron was better than some of the restaurants.
I would like to thank Adnan and his family and also the staff Dino, Medinay (Happy) and Ahmed (chef) for a really great holiday. Also thanks to Gino at the "Always" restaurant for his kind hospitality.
I would recommend anyone to stay at the Saffron and will be visiting again next year

| said: Stayed at this hotel for one week, did feel 'some' of the staff would have intimidated us into buying our drinks/food within the hotel. We had several meals in the hotel restaurant which were of a good standard for the monies paid. I found the English breakfast very good.
Beers across the road were much cheaper than the Saffron. We found Dino very friendly but was this because we use the hotel bar?
The room we had (116) was beside the pool and would like the same room if we returned. The room was cleaned daily, towels change about three times in the stay. Hot water is a bonus, no hot water for a early morning shower, if you want a hot shower at night jump in soon (before 18:00).
Yes we would stay at this again hotel as we did not pay a lot of money for the holiday.

| said: First time in Marmaris but not to Turkey.
Saffron appartments are basic but excellent, the staff cannot do enough for you.
Our friends who had never been to Turkey before wanted to try proper Turkish food but it was not on the menu so the owner got the chef to make it epecially for us, they even brought us a large tray of meat,(Steak, Lamb, Beef, Liver)and even Spring rolls with Lamb in.
They make very large Pitta bread in Marmaris but it wasn't on the Saffron menu, so again the owner got one of the waiters to go to the restaurant next door and get them to make us some. He said anything we wanted if they did not have it he would get it for us. Nothing was a problem for them.
Every member of staff were very friendly including the owner and his family.
Special credit go to Dino, Medinay (Happy)+ Ahmed(Chef)who gave us some great nights just sitting in the bar at the apartments, yes you could find cheaper food and drink elsewhere but you did not get the same attention.
Dino invited us to his brothers engagement party at his uncle's restaurant in Bar Street (Allways) which was a night to remember.
We will definitely be going bak to the Saffron apartments again. The owner even said we can book direct with him if we want to.
Excellent Apartments all round.

| said: When we arrived were put in room 127 top floor as two adults we shared this studio room that was not value at all for our money, we had to pay an extra fee of £40.00 for aircon that not even properly work. We were not even told before we had to pay extra, you could cook in room as everything were so cramp in one room.
So this made our holiday from day on a bad start the manager of the department were very helpful and the waitress. Dino he is friendly the 1st few days and then really very arrogant and cocky to us, as long you by them drinks and they really nice, the only person there who was real nice was the cleaning lady she done our washing twice and she always were friendly, also on the Turkish night - they did not do any special theme it was just very bad will never ever go there again they made just the whole stay not with it. But as we paid we couldn’t get a refund and had to except it
They have no really proper reception room, and everything is just very dull. And the hotel charged us twice extra on our drinks, you always have to double check your bill, and very expensive no value for money
They never made any attempt to make your stay nice there
Very very disappointed

Although we had a minor arguement with one of the members of staff Adnan and Dino sorted that our for us.
The cleaner was very kind and Dino looked after us well.
Jacob behind the bar was great with everyone and we all love him to bits.
We only came home today and i am looking forward to staying again next year.
Although this year we went a bit later and missed the boss's family we still had a great time
loved the hotel and would definately stay again

| said: Stayed at Saffron Apartments in Marmaris, Turkey
The apartments were clean, to an extent. One day the maid even washed our dishes which was a pleasant surprise.
Only ate at the hotel once as the food was a lot cheaper elsewhere. However, we did feel that the staff made us feel guilty for not eating and drinking there. To begin with we had a drink at the bar before we went out but after a while the staff weren't as friendly so we simply went straight out for food and drinks.
The hotel wasn't too far from the beach and the dolmus (the local buses) go past your apartments all the time so you don't even have to walk to the beach.
Staff to begin with were very friendly especially Dino and Toti but after we experienced the belly dancer at the apartments one and only entertainment nights, things soon changed. After that a member of staff was quite sarcastic about the night every time we saw him. As for the boss didn't see him much, and didn't seem to friendly.
Entertainment was poor and other holiday makers didn't even eat at the restaurant. Wouldn't stay at these apartments again, as it just wasn't for us.
One thing we would add is to book your excursions with the local agencies as they offer a lot more for your money than the rep's do. Don't feel pressured into booking with them.

Good location, about 5-10mins walk from sea front. Well served by Dolmus to get anywhere in resort.
Rooms simple and roomy. cleaned well everyday.
Staff good fun and very attentive. Young lad ran off to another bar to get ice for our supermarket bought drinks we were drinking on the balcony. Hotel family run, Adnan the owner and his son MoMo very friendly. Locals regular stop by for Backgammon games (I won a days bar bill at backgammon - MoMo claimed I was very lucky!!! I have to say the dice were with me!)
