We came to Sayar Apartments last year in 2007 july.
This is was the best holiday me and my family ever had. I found that Sayar apartments was better than last year as there is more entertainment karoke, turkish night, break dancing.

I found the staff very hardworking and friendly. It took 20-30 minutes to be in marmaris center but just round the corner from the resort there is a dolmus which is only 1 lira per person to get to marmaris center also near the apartments there are plenty of restarunts and shops. I advised you to go to cousins steakhouse 1+2 excellent meals/drinks there.

If you fancy going onto a trip I would advise you to go on Jeep Safari, from the start of your holiday turkish bath as it rub off your dead skin and helps you get a tan.(so relaxing it is).

I think that the apartments is very clean, very nice staff. Mind you ,you do get the people you go down earley and put their towels on the sunbeds so you might not get a sunbed. The best beach is icemeler beach. I really enjoyed my holiday this year i would love to go back again and i know we will next year to the same apartments. Ive been in this apartments 3 times there has been little things out of place but i found no problems at all this year. Excellent place . Abby

Great hotel, rooms were ok but the staff soon made up for that. Yaqup, Ilhan, Umit, Fatih and the rest of the staff helped make our holiday a brilliant one! They seriously could not do enough to help us. Nice pool and food is reasonably priced. Towels and bedding etc were changed loads during our 2 week stay and the reception staff were more than helpful with any enquiries we had. A must is the Turkish night they hold, the food is delicious!! The hotel is not 2 far from the main part of marmaris and there is a taxi rank hjust round the corner which was very handy after drunken nights out in town!

The apartments were clean & the staff friendly, If you require clean bedding & towels you just need to ask at reception, 1st toilet roll comes free then you provide your own. ! suggestion it is very hot so its worth paying the £25 per week for air con. The bar staff really go out of there way to make your holiday enjoyable, the drinks are brought to you thru the day. Don't stand too close to the edge of the pool otherwise the staff will push you in but they do not mind being pushed in either. Anthony,Calvin,Orlando & Ilhan were great with all ages.

Me and my family (and friends) have been visiting Sayar Apart every year since 2001!

The first couple of years obviously were excellent which led us to go back so many times. This July (2007) was certainly not Sayar at its best, as a lot of the reviews suggest.

However, this was because the hotel owners have no clue about running a hotel and for the first year had not hired a manager or any kind of management team!

So the complaints on this site about cleanliness, service around the pool and entertainment for this year are just. However, I really want to let people know that Sayar has not always been this way and is no longer going to be this way!

We have a friend who was working as a waiter in Sayar the first year we went there. Since 2001 he has not worked at Sayar but has worked on a cruise ship and in many expensive hotels. He was working in Marmaris this year in a hotel called Club Orient as the manager and when we visited we had an absolutely amazing time and wished that Sayar was like that!

ANYWAY, my point is, next year (2008) Basri (our friend) and some of his friends from Club Orient are to become Sayar's new management team.

He has told us they plan to completely turn Sayar Apart around and we are already looking forward to returning there next year. Under Basri's management I can absolutely guarantee anybody who wishes to have a fun-filled, memorable holiday will undoubtedly experience that.
As for waiters pushing people in the pool and trying to chat up every female in sight, please understand that it is all in good humour and will happen wherever you go in Turkey.

Being a female myself, the first year I did find it unnerving but learnt to ignore it or laugh it off. Turkish men who claim to be in love with you are just trying it on and do it to everyone. Sadly the reason for this is because a lot of English and European girls behave stupidly and make themselves appear 'cheap'.

Turkish men are very aware of this and although this cannot count for all of them a lot of them will try it on.

Other than that the Turkish are very friendly if they seem overly friendly just remember we English are obsessed with having personal space and Turkish people don't have this problem! Turkey is beautiful, hot and sunny, has great shopping and friendly people.

If you want a relaxed time, a fun time, dancing, good food and a truly memorable experience it's the place to be!

We booked this holiday with Direct Holidays only 4 weeks prior to going and we got two weeks SC for just £242 for each of us,in a one bedroomed Apartment so this was really good value for money (worked out at only £121 each per week).

The Sayar Aparts are at the back of Marmaris in the Armutalan area, but only 10 mins stroll to the main road/strip and a few minures further to the beach and prom. An excellant dolmus service (No.3) runs every 5 mins or so from near the Sayar (outside the Grand Cettia complex), and takes 5 mins to get to the main road (comes out opposite the GIMA - Point Centre complex), and goes on along the main road to Tansas supermarket at the old town/marina end. Dolmus costs 1 T.Lira for any journey, and the last one back at night picks up opp. GIMA at about 12:45am. We usually got the last one back up at night.

The Sayar Aparts are basic, but more than adequate for a cheap, no frills holiday. Our apartment (343) was on the second floor and had a side view of the pool and you could see the sea in the distance!I must say that the lift, althuogh small (max 3 people) was very efficient and worked all the time, better than many larger places wqe've stayed at!
Our room was clean when we arrived and had a nice shower room, fully tiled, shower cubical and newish fittings. The was a double wardrobe between the living area and the bedroom, and drawers, dressind table, large mirrow in the bedroom, and plenty of electric sockets!
We hired a safe (in the reception area) at £8 per week + £10 refundable deposit, and we paid £4 per night for the Air Con, which is in the bedroom only, but was very effective. It did start to drip during our first night but I realised that you needed to regularly empty the large plastic bottle which collected the Air Con water from a plastic pipe out on the balcony, after that it was fine (I emptied the bottle every morning and night). The apartments all seem to have large balconies, our had doors out from the living area and the bedroom, but unfortunately there were no plastic table or chairs on the balconies, so you had to take the chairs from the kitchen table if you wanted to sit out, first time I've ever seen this! Why have nice big balconies and nothing to sit on? The exra sleeping in the aparts consists of two 'sofa bed' chairs, which I guess would only be ok for children to sleep on?

We did have to ask at Reception for a change of towels after a few days and then a change of bedding, as the cleaner (who we rarely saw) only ever emptied the bins and not much else, luckily we always keep our room tidy ourselves. After we mentioned this to Reception and the Direct Hols Rep things improved and we got TWO sets of towels and the sheets changed again.
We heard that they had problems keeping the cleaners, and certainly during the 2 weeks we were there (6th-20th July) the bar staff and lads who worked around the pool (sorry, but they weren't really waiters as they pleased themselves), changed frequently with new 'staff' every few days. Some staff around the pool/bar were really friendly and chatted to you, but one other, who liked to call himself 'Orlando', (heaven knows why because he looked nothing like Mr. Bloom!), was only interested in the young girls and constantly pushed them in the pool, yet when someone pushed HIM in he went off it, and took a real strop (hee hee). He also only spoke to people who spent all their time (and money) at the pool bar or restaurant, whereas we like to go out for a meal at night, so after our first few days he never spoke to us - Thank God!
As others have mentioned the pre-payment card system is a pain, but we did put 40 TL on it to cover drinks, ices etc around the pool during the day, but some people had problems and the Rep said that they were going to accept cash, BUT it only lasted a day and they were back to the cards. A small bottle of water was 1 TL, you can get a 5 Litre bottle for 2 TL at Reception or the local shops! Only drinks purchased AT the pool bar were allowed to be drank around the pool, but most people took small bottles of water down to the pool in their bags etc and as long as you were discreet you got away with it (cell block H !)
Our MAIN complaint was the very loud, often 'rave' type, music played around the pool during the day, which was turned UP whenever the owners (Mr & Mrs Sayar??) were not around. Several guests complained about this but the bar staff just pleased themselves, and often played totally unsuitable (vulgar) songs even though this is a 'family' complex and there were several families with young children, one father complained and they changed the song, but it was back on the next day! This really spoilt an otherwise very nice pool area, with plenty sunbeds, a large clean pool, small kids pool, grassed area with sunbeds well spaced out and fixed umbrellas.
We always got two sunbeds with a brollie, where we wanted to be, each day. I went down about 8-8.30 and hardly anyone out at that time - very 'laid back' place in that respect. The pool was 1.45M deep at the shallow end and had tiled steps leading down in one corner. It was cleaned daily and was one of the largest pools we've seen at apartments in Marmaris.

They have a pool side bar/restaurant serving full breakfast, snacks and full meals in the evening, we ate there one night and it was ok and reasonably priced. We also went to the weekly Turkish Night (Tuesday) and it was good value at £10 each with first drink free, a 3 course Turkish meal and good entertainment. Cocktails were reasonably priced at 7 TL each (10 TL in bars on the strip). Other than that there was a Pool Party one night, but we gave that a miss. Music was played at the bar at night but was never on loud when we got back about 12:30-1:30 at night, and as the Sayar is in a quiet area, there was no noise at night when we were there.

There are shops, a few bars, restaurants (Sarah's, Elvis, and Baron etc), and a couple of mini market shops very near the Sayar for your SC needs, fresh bread etc (Note there is no longer a mini market at the Sayar itself). Also, the roads/paths have now been completed and it is not a sand/dirt path anymore, access roads and paths are fairly good and suitable for kids buggies, walking difficulties etc.

Overall, the Sayar was good basic accomm and very good value for money IF you get a cheapy like we did! If the price was right we would consider returning, BUT I'd take ear plugs for around the pool, OR my MP3 player in case the music was as loud and bad as when we were there! It may suit some and not others, but it's worth a try.

Ive just came back off this holiday on July 27th 07 And i Loved it . Its amazing. The staff was very friendly and it was very clean. The pool gets cleaned out everyday and so does your rooms. The Location is Good its about 15 mins walk but theres just a dolmus down the road for 1 lira (40p)to go to the center. But if you feel like staying around the resort then there is a few of restarunts+ bars also shops. The Entertainment is very good as there is Turkish Night , Pool Party . The views are amazing. I cant wait to go back to the appartment next yr. All the staff is Lovely like >> Meti , Naraz , Duran , Alex , Franky , Onur! But be careful of Ilhan(Orlando he calls him self) He was very nice but got to friendly with my friend and then asked her out but then she discovered he was married and had 5 children. Theres lots of things to do nothing bores you at all. I would recommend to go to the cousins steak house 1 + 2 . I prefer cousin steak house 1 its over the road from club alize. Just ask and then you will be there. Ive been turkey 3 times and i think its a amazing place. Ive been in this apparentment for 2 times now and so far you wouldnt give it a complaint. We had a lovely goodbye from the staff helping us with our luggage such as> meti , onur , duran , naraz help us and said goodbye. Just take my info and go to this appartments i think this was my best holiday ever!!! Bye x

Stayed in the Sayar Appts in Armutulan, just outside Marmaris, rooms were basic but very clean.

Location was good, away from the noise of the main strip(only a few minutes walk)no problems with noise, although we had a room at the back, people who were pool side experienced noise from bar,so not recomended for children.

Pool was large and very clean although some of the grates round the pool kept coming loose and my husband even put his foot through one once which could have been nasty had it been a child. Tiles around the pool very slippy.small play area in corner of gardens surrounding the pool, very out dated, and the fencing next to it had large rusty nails sticking out, very dangerous.

Entertainment very poor, consisted of a very dated magic show, belly dancer, and the staff doing a dance!Even that only happened once a week!

Most of the staff were fantastic but unfortunateley there was one bad egg whilst we were there, who spoilt the holiday really, another family had alot of problems with this guy and it spoiled the atmosphere round the pool.

Lots of problems with the card system,no cash is used in the apartments, very hard to keep track where you are with money, you topped up your card at reception,so many people were told their money had run out when it had not,yes they got it sorted out but everyone got sick of it.

We were only there two weeks and staff came and went,so you didn't get chance to get to know them properly. The food was excellent.

Safety round the pool wasn't of a high standard,a large surf board was allowed in the pool and one lady got hit on the head by it,small kids were allowed to ride on trike round the pool!!! Sometimes the staff were a bit pushy, constantly asking if you wanted a drink or eat. Some people were asked not to bring drinks round the pool that were not bought at the bar,but yet they were purchased from reception(whats the difference?)Well the differnce is they were a lot cheaper from reception!

Will not be returning.

We were shown to our apartment which was awful.

The living area was tiny so my 6 year old daughter was basically sleeping in the kitchen as everything had been crammed in.

The bathroom had a little light above the mirror so you had to keep door open but then everyone would be able to see you on the balcony opposite. The shower had no screen so the water went everywhere and the apartment was dirty.

They did move us though next door and that apartment was better.

The pool was unsuitable for children as although there was a shallow end it was 1.45 mtrs so my 6 year old daughter couldn't stand up which wasn't very safe.

The card system didn't go down to well as you never seemed to have enough money and had to keep topping it up. Much better using cash as you know where you are. The staff were a bit too much sometimes and didn't leave you alone.

The entertainment was awful.we paid for a Turkish night and started off playing musical chairs although I don't think the Turkish actually had the hang of the game . Saw a breakdancer , bellydancer and then staff were meant to do a show but it was actually chaos no one knew what they were doing.

Enjoyed Turkey but not the apartment wouldn't go back.

Like most people who have posted regarding these apartments, I find it very difficult to criticize them in any way.

They are situated about a ten minute walk from Marmaris centre but there are plenty pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area to satisfy everyone. The apartments have a very decent sized swimming pool and there were always plenty of beds available.

The beds surrounding the edge of the pool seemed in better condition than the rest but they were all usable. The staff at Sayar were first class.

During our two week stay I never heard one complaint regarding the waiting / bar staff. Drinks were served at your table if required and when the heat reaches 48 deg. believe me, you don't feel like moving.

If I had one complaint it would have to be the card system which is in use at the apartments. You are given a card on arrival which you keep topping up with money at reception. These cards are the only currency used at the bar / restaurant. No cash is accepted. It takes a bit of getting used to but once you get the hang of it, it isn't a problem.

The apartments were cleaned every day and towels and sheets changed every second day. We had a top floor apartment which loses a bit of space due to the sloping roof, but what a view we had over Marmaris.

There was prize bingo every afternoon which paid out cash prizes. There was also a Turkish night at the apartments which was quite good value for the £10 (30YTL) it cost.

Never having visited Turkey before, I can honestly say that I will be making a return trip to these apartments next year.

Summing up, Nice apartments in a reasonably quiet area but if you need the hustle and bustle of the bars and clubs in Marmaris then it's only a Dolmus ride away.

The hotel was amazing never met more friendly people they where always smiling and no matter what they always seemed to get everyone enjoying their holiday. Its great for young people and all the bar men are very friendly.

The only problem with the hotel was when the cleaners were in some of the other staff could just walk into your room apart from that the hotel was excellent it was the best hotel we have been in yet !

The only thing two things I would warn you about is be prepared to be thrown in the pool with your night time clothes on or not ! And power cuts in 3 days we had about 5 power cuts and had no electricity all day ! but the more you tell the reception they get it sorted !

We went to Sayar in June and the weather was great, only one cloudy day and even then it was hot! We stayed for a week and wished it would have been longer, the staff were by far the best things about our holiday.

Our room was at the back which meant we didnt have a great view, but it did mean that it was nice and quiet. The room was nice and clean, as was the bathroom. The only bad point was the wardrobe space and hangers! There was two of us and we struggled and our apartment slept four! It wasn't a massive problem though. The maids were great they cleaned our room regularly and even folded our nighties at the end of the bed!!

The pool was great we didnt really go to the beach in Marmaris because it was nice round the pool, everyone got to know each other and it was a real laugh.

The food at the hotel bar was lovely, we reccomend the greek salad and the Menemen omlette. MMMMMM!

I would go back tomorrow!!!

Upon arrival we found a cat poo in the reception area to greet us! What more do we need to say?!

The location was miles away from anywhere and main facilities on the sea front. Also, barstaff did not behave appropriately with my 16 year old daughter and niece.

The holiday was the worst we have ever had and none of us in our party would ever recommend Turkey to anyone!

Are you thinking of going to the Sayar? Then do so. It is great!!!!!

We've been back 4 days now and we're all wishing that we we're still there.

We arrived very early Saturday morning, I couldn't believe it it was thundering and lighting like I've never seen before! It didn't spoil the weather for the next day though as it was red hot.

The room was basic but very clean with two single beds in the bedroom and two sofa beds in the living room. Our daughter was sleeping on the sofa beds which to start with she didn't enjoy, but then she put her lilo on top and thought it was brill. Shower room was lovely, it had just been re-tiled, Plenty of hot water no matter what time in the day it was.

The maid came everyday to mop the floor, make the beds and change the towels. She made lovely designs with the towels and on the last day sprinkled flower petals over the bed.

There's a little shop at the side of the bar that sells lovely bread (very cheap), buy it fresh and fill it with bacon!! (home from home). But if you don't fancy cooking Alley is a brill chef.

All the staff are great, Memet, Hamet and Alley couldn't do enough for you.

Turkish night is a must, it was great. firstly theres a man/women belly dancer who gets the ladies involved, then break dancers, then a women belly dancer who gets the men involved and then lastly a man who walks on glass-eats fire and as a snake (which he made me get it out the box then he made it go down my skirt!!!)

Our room was cleaned daily and had a huge balcony. Only downside was lack of cupboard space for your clothes.

The location was good it was out of the centre but you could catch a Dolmus in as we found it too hot to walk with the children. The staff were brilliant could not do enough for you. Hamet and Mamet were really good to our family and made our stay really enjoyable.

The entertainment was not bad bingo every night Turkish night and party night. We would definitely visit this hotel again we had a brilliant 2 weeks.

The Saysr apartments were value for the money we paid, the room was cleaned better after we complained, there was no shower curtain in bathroom.

The staff were always very helpful, especially the receptionist.

The entertainment staff were always busy keeping you entertained and were good fun.

I would go back in the future.

Sayar Apartments were really good, I would definitly go back. The staff were really friendly and dont forget funny.

My daughter and my son really enjoyed turkey, it was the first time they have been there. Some of the staff are really full of their self.

The entertainment was really good and I would advise you to go to the turkish night on a wednesday!

The hotel is not that far from the town center, only about a 10-15 minute walk or you can catch a dolmus at 1million (40p).

I would advise you to go on excursions with the shops near the beach as it is cheaper that the hotel.

Yes I would deffinitly visit Sayar again.

We arrived in the middle of the night and were quickly checked in and taken to our room.

The room was clean and tidy and was well cleaned daily. The staff were friendly. The balcony was huge with a nice view of the mountains. The pool area was nice and was always kept tidy.

There are some nice restaurants in the area round the hotel and was in a easy walking distance of main areas of Marmaris or a dolmus was easy to catch and cheap.

Overall I would stay at this hotel again.

Rooms were basic as we expected, but we did expect them to be ready fpr guests they were not at all.

The pool was green, there was no loungers or sun canopies when we first got there.

Location was ok the dolmas buses came every few minutes.

Staff were very helpful good job really in the circumstances. No entertainment at all in the first week and one night in the last week they had a Turkish night that was it.

I found and felt sorry for lee the hotel manager we had many many discustions with Lee he told us they had only 7 months ago taken possesion of the Sayar, and they,d worked day and night all winter trying to get the hotel open and ready, and what they were hoping to achieve for the hotel despite the begining of the holiday we did enjoy the second week a bit better than the first.

The staff were very entertaining and helpful, and with the enthusiasm of the manager I bet it as improved a lot since then so dont be put of.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were basic.Lifts were not working most of the time.

Food at the hotel was ok. You had to walk across a dirt path to get to the hotel from the main road.Staff pesterd the females in our family being over friendly and quite sleazy.

The was no real entertainment their idea of fun was throwing people in the pool while are trying to relax. We found that the staff were not helpful at all.

We had purchased a safty deposit box as advised by our tour rep two days in to our holiday our box was broken into and all our money was gone.Staff were very unhelpful and basicly didn't want to know. They said it was not their problem when it was because the boxes were kept behind the reception. We moved to another hotel that night.

We had to get a taxi to the other hotel but we had no money my husband went to the reception to get our money back for the deposit box that we had payed for the full week and they refused point blank only after things got a bit heated they then only gave us five pounds back when it cost nine pound for the first week.We got no appology from any of the staff and the manager never even came to ask how we were only the security guard/night porter spoke to us when we were going away.He said that he was sorry for what happend in my eyes that should be the manager's duty.

We all felt as if we were not treated as human beings instead just a piece of dirt on their shoes as if it was our fault the money was stolen.

This hotel was diabolical. It was really far away from the town hotel and we were constantly hassled by the hotel workers because he fancied my daughter as she is blonde and blue eyed which all the Turks go for.

The toilet was the worst of all .
Please do not stay at this hotel!!!!!
I would advise a woman not to stay at these apartments alone

We arrived in the Sayar Appartments early hours on the Saturaday morning and was taken to our room, this was on the top floor of the hotel it was extremely stuffy and the fridge was leaking all over the floor, we managed to stay in the room until 7.30am and then requested an altenative room with air conditioning - we were at this point ready to change appartments. But the staff were very helpful and gave us an alternative room on the third floor and complete with air conditioning and a wonderful view of the pool and the mountains- this room was the total opposite of the first room.
the cleaning lady was great she used to leave us flowers and an array of different designs using the towels.

The location of the appartments was nice just a stroll to the beach or a dolmus ride away.
They were very quite and ideal fo families.

The hotel staff were great and helped us enjoy the two weeks their, so much that we have already booked to go back again this august.
thank to all the staff at the Sayar for a wondeful to weeks. All yur hard work was well appreciated.

This hotel cannot be faulted. It is basic, but this is what you pay for as it is cheap to stay at. I do agree that the toilets by the pool could do with refurbsihment but there are other toilets on the ground floor of the hotel, the same distance away.

All your needs are catered for in your apartment, for a self catering holiday and the balconies are beautiful (try and get one on one of the top floors, we were in 415 on level 4)-the balcony is huge and the views are amazing!

The staff are so great here, any problems and go and see ozzy at reception and he will sort anyting out for you. All the bar/pool area staff are soo fun and definately leave you on high(watch out though-they through you in the pool!)

The entertainment is fab, maybe slightly over-priced but very fun - and me, my best freind, sister and friend, parents and broter certainly enjoyed playing bingo during happy hour (buy 1 get one free!).

Its hard to see how anyone cant enjoy here when its you get what you pay for! Also te entertainers in the day -Nathan, Jamie and others are great. You've got to play water polo!! Have fun here!

We arrived at the apartments and could not believe how disgusting they were, the rooms were dirty with kitchen doors broken, shower was filthy, we complained they showed us other rooms which were just as bad. The communal areas are dangerous with carpets falling apart, and the communal toilets are disgusting. I would never recommend anyone to go to these apartments.

We stayed at the Sayar Apartments, situated in Armutalan, Marmaris. We thought it was an excellent base, not too close to the lively area's, but not too far away either, as you could jump on a dolmus, and be there in minutes. The room itself was very big, the balcony was huge and private. The maids were really good, and left a pattern with the towels on your beds every day. The staff were always on hand and entertained you every day and night with their dancing! Cannot fault them at all, the entertainment was fantastic with bingo on every night, and the turkish night was a must! We would definitly come back tommorow!

My cousin recommended this hotel as she stayed there with her family in 2003./ The rooms were basic but clean, the bathroom/shower areas are now in need of some refurbishment and some basic crockery needed e.g. plates (we were only provided with bowls)./ I stayed on the 4th floor (404) and had a lovely view of the pool, mountains and sea./ There was nightly entertainment including bingo, karaoke, turkish night, kids night, snake charmer and 'dreamy boys'./ The only negative comment I have is that the outside toilets (bar/pool area) are communal and definitely in need of reburbishment - I mentioned this to the manager Eddie who took it on board. The staff were fantastic and nothing too much trouble, Ali the head barman was a gentleman. I would return there.

Apartment Sayar was comfortable and basic. When my family first arrived we were put into a small room with no air conditioning facing the pool. We found this to be a little too cramped and noisy but we were able to move to another room after a week which was much better. The room was reasonably kept clean although the kitchen utensils could have been better.

We ate out so cannot judge the food but the atmosphere was in general quite good.

The pool is a nice size and the entertainment was good. My daughter loved the magic shows every week and if you like bingo you will also not be disappointed.

The location is quiet with a few grocery stores a couple of minutes away and quite a few good restaurants that are very cheap close by as well. Very good to know if you have kids. My family are going back this year because my daughter had such a great time here.

When we arrived at the hotel we were taken to a room which was very dirty and had a very musky smell to it and a view of a road. We decided within minutes to go back to the reception and ask for a room change. We were moved into room 105 which was a little better, as it did not have a musky smell and it had a good view of the pool, but the beds still weren't the best. Otherwise, you could not ask for a better hotel. The staff treated us like we were first class, the receptionist was very friendly and so was the person who cleaned our room as when he made our beds he left a little flower on each bed! The pool bar staff were very friendly as Ally- the head waiter had turned into a good friend of ours as was Eddie and he was the manager! They had a small area of bars based around the complex. Our favourite was the Elvis bar as they had the nicest English Breakfast going. The manager of the Elvis bar was very friendly and funny. The marmaris strip was buzzing and full of nice resteraunts and bars. Me myself enjoyed kebabs. The hotel was not in the best location as it is quite a way away from the strip. But if you catch the Dalmus (local bus) which is on the dot every 5 mins and costs 1,000,000 tl per person which is about 30p. The entertainment in the resort lacked a bit.

The apartments were clean but basic, we had a lovely balcony with a great veiw. The lift was a bit dodgy so i recomend to use the stairs as we got stuck im them and they are the size of a shoe box.
The entertainment was good, we did the bingo and we also went to the turkish night which we enjoyed.
The appartments are quite a walk from the main strip but it was cheap enough in a taxi and its really easy to get one.
The staff at the bar were always friendly and did make the holiday more enjoyable especially Andy.
We will definetly vist this hotel in the furture.

The apartments were basic & clean, had everything you needed (fridge to keep your aftersun in). When we first arrived my husband thought he would be tight & asked for a room without air conditioning, however a porter took our bags to our room & as soon as he left we realised we couldnt stand the heat for 2 weeks so we went down to reception & they were happy to change our room for an extra £20 per week (it was well worth it). All the staff were really friendly & helpful one person especially was Ali he was great. Every evening you could play bingo & Wednesday is Turkish night, we enjoyed it so much we went twice. The location was in a lovely quiet part of the town, within walking distance of the beach, but as it was so hot we always caught the Dolmus (40p) & they are very regular day & night. Would really consider going to this property again, it was great.

Well what can i really say. The hotel rooms were not that clean when we arrived there and they took us into our room we asked to be moved into a different room
We tried about 3 different rooms and really each one of them was "unclean" to be said. It was really the pillows that was a problem they was dirty and stained and i dont want to mention to much about the toilet seat well when we walked in there it was dirty but anyway we contacted reception and we were moved into a different room THANK GOD !! The hotel staff were really plesent i thought them to be more helpful than our rep which doesnt sound good
The entertainment was good the had turkish nights and different entertainment
The hotel location was in a nice area the only problem was, was that it was a bit of a treck from the beach but it was a pleasent walk but there was use of local transport and there was a few restaurants close by and there was a shop aswell
I cant say that i wouldnt want to visit this hotel again but i would want to check the rooms first !!!!
