| said: Our first visit in Turkey, and we were really pleasantly surprised...we took our 14 year old daughter and 12 year old son, not sure how we would go with my daughter (blonde!) but we really shouldn't have worried, lots of charm and flirting but no problems really - my daughter certainly missed the compliments when we came home! Bitez is a great resort if like us you like a quiet nights sleep, but you can catch the dolmus to Bodrum/Gumbet for next to nothing if you are looking for a bit of noise! There are plenty of good restaurants around competing for your business, Blue Moon is good for a laugh and great food at The Sultan. The restaurants here charge nothing for the sunbeds and you can stay there all day if you can stand the heat! Pinar Han is a lovely modern, clean place to stay, staff are really friendly and couldn't do enough and we had a BRILLIANT rep (first time thats happened!) plenty of excursions etc but be warned - its soo hot in August you won't want to do much. There is food available but we didn't eat here (just because of the choice of restaurants on the front, 5 mins away) and there is no entertainment but the poolside bar stays open until you've had enough - we didn't miss the lack of ususal sub standard entertainment and I would DEFINITELY recommend Pinar Han for older kids/teenagers.
