| said: I arrived at this hotel at 5.15am my room was not ready. When I got in my room (133) only one light bulb worked. There were no sink or bath plugs, the hot water tap came off in my hand, the balcony was always flooded.
If you got to breakfast after 8.30 there was no cups. There were cats in the dining room scounging for food. At dinner the meals were served in the garden the food was cold you didn't know what you were eating and again the garden was infested with cats the food was only fit for them.
The gym consisted of two exercise bikes a table tennis table and scores of table tennis balls on the floor and the room smelt.
The cave was never open, no piped music in room. People who came with me had stayed here before and they said it has changed for the worse.
This is suppose to be a 4 Star hotel.

Having said this the rooms had good air conditioning which worked fine. the rooms where clean and tidy..and cleaned every day. the hotel in general was clean and tidy. the staff very helpful some more than others. entertainment was poor and no sports facilities or entertainment sports or other for kids fitness suite what fitness suite??..also no backround music at bars or poolside. The food was excellent plenty and of high standard..could do with air conditioning in indoor dinning area and reception area. Overall we were all pleased. Pool area good and never a panic for sunbeds.

| said: We have just returned from a fantastic 14 night holiday at the Ambrosia Hotel in Bitez. We found the staff in the hotel to be really friendly - in particular Adam, the porter, and all the guys at the pool bar (with another Adam there, in particular). The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were often decorated with heart shaped rose petals etc, which was a lovely touch. The hotel has a wonderful setting right on the beech at Bitez and is close to other restaurants, bars and shops. The food was fantastic at lunchtime and great value for money and the evening buffet was adequate (not a great choice of hot cooked choice though). We would consider returning again another year.

| said: When we arrived at the Ambrosia we were greeted very nicely considering it was 5:00am.
The staff on the whole were very nice.
The food was a bit of a disappointment as none of it was labelled therefore we didn't know what it was. A lot of it didn't look very appertizing.
The location of the hotel was brilliant as it was on the beach front and close to all the bars and shops.
The cleanliness of the hotel was reasonable.
It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but I wouldn't rate it as that.
