We found the bar staff got a bit stressed especially if you were all incluscive as you could go to the bar as often as you wanted for soft drinks local beer or local wine.
Entertainment was good for the kids not as good for the adults.
I'm booking up for next year has a wonderful time.

The entertainment staff were excellent and very nice I thought that the reception staff was very ignorant and very unhelpfull as I had my phone and ipod nicked from my room and they weren't helping me at all which really upset me a little.

| said: We all really enjoyed our stay here.
The rooms were nice and clean, and were cleaned daily, with towels and beds changed several times during our stay. We had a fridge, TV and air conditioning, but no coffee making facilities - I had to hire a kettle from reception which was expensive.
The food was OK, we had toast with jam, cereal and fruit most mornings, there were boiled/scrambled eggs, beans, tomatoes, and hot dog styles sausages plus yoghurts, and continental style cheese and olives etc too.
You had a choice of meals on an evening, with chips and veg etc. and there were always loads of salad stuff to choose from which were really nice. The kids usually went back for seconds. The puddings were far too sweet for my liking, but the kids liked them!
The hotel was close to the beach, and just across the road from the Migros supermarket. The dolmus stopped right outside which took us cheaply to Icmeler or Marmaris harbour if we were feeling lazy!
The staff were pleasant, the nightly entertainment not our thing, but I suppose OK for the younger kids.
The pool area was great, large and clean, although there was no shallow end in the bigger pool. There werent enough sunbeds the same as anywhere else, (although I would like to have seen someone removing the towels that seemed to be on several sunbeds reserving them all day with no user in sight until late afternoon - sooooo annoying!) The kids loved it, and our 10 year old son enjoyed the killer darts and other daytime entertainment arranged around the pool.
We all enjoyed our holiday here.

The staff were alright friendly but didn't speak much.
The maids were very good friendly and cleaned the rooms everyday and changed the towels ever other day.
Marmaris resort was overall excellent all the bars and restaurants were brilliant especially Picadilly (say hello to Aziz and Roony) Piccadilly and the British bar!
The clubs were really good as well all types of music the best ones were bar x, the Irish bar!(say hello to Sahin) the Scorpio for a quite night, and you have to go bar street really good fun!
Overall this holiday was great and would definitely go back for many years to come!

| said: This is our 8th stay in Blue Bays Hotel & Apartments, but this is the 1st time they have done all inclusive basis. It was diabolical!!
If you like continental breakfasts you will be ok (no english breakfasts).
Lunch choice of 3 luke warm meals and tons of salads
tea same as lunch food not very hot at all. Snacks are served between 2pm-3pm with chips, turkish pizza & one other thing they chose.
If you have children who like ice-cream, pizza's or burgers take extra money as it's not included on all inclusive basis.
The pool bar opens at 10am closes at 8pm
Reception bar opens 8am closes 4.30pm suposedly, in two weeks there, we never saw it open on those times. It was more 8pm till 2am.
Green bar opens 4pm till 11.30pm
Pasha bar(new a la carte) not included in all inclusive!!
Hardly any entertainment or music of a day around the pool.
What is included in all inclusive tea, coffee, wine, local vodka, local gin, local brandy, fanta, coke, sprite, local beers and water by the glass.
Whats not included in all inclusive
cappacino's, hot chocolate, local whiskey, bottled water for the rooms, mini bar in room was empty all the time local ice creams, milkshakes.
Pool area was sticky where drinks were knocked over and not cleaned up by staff. Dutch were putting there towels on sun loungers 6am while everyone else was sleeping, so unless you get up very early you won't get a bed by pool.

| said: I couldnt agree more than Paulas review (below) really however, i would like to add that we were not informed that this hotel only caters continental breakfasts. Not a problem you may think, but if you have a young family the food here will not suit there needs. We stayed for two weeks & only had 3 breakfasts as we got sick of scrambled egg & apart from cereal, this is the only british breakfast available.
The dinner just as bad the first 4 days as they didnt cater any english food at all! We ate out 3 times! on the 4th day we went to the rep to complain & suprise suprise a few english guests were complaining too & this sitation was resolved the next day!
I would also like to add that as our flight was an early one 02.55, we depended on a late checkout as we had 4 very tired children with us, i tried to sort this out the first day of our hols but the receptionist told me this could only be sorted the last day. On the last day when i went to see here she told me our room was already booked & we had to be out at12!
So as you can imagine, we had to sit around the foyet for 11 hrs, very stressfull with 4 young children as the luggage room is being used by the cleaners so be warned as there were other british guests complaining too!
Def come back to Turkey but not this hotel im afraid!

| said: Arrived at hotel early evening after a long transfer from Dalaman airport! Bellboy jumped on our cases, to take them to our room, although he was very disappointed that we didn't have any spare cash to give him!!
Hotel is very clean, although rooms are very basic. Air-conditioning was a god-send and was the only place to escape to when the temperatures outside reached 50.c.
Pool terrace is very small and sunbeds are placed very close to eachother. There is definately not enough sun shades & those guests that do seem to get them are up at 6am to secure (& seem to keep them down all day!!)
Food in the restaurant was very disappointing - everybody was complaining that there was a poor choice and several nights out of our 2week stay, we couldn't find anything we liked, so ventured outside to restaurants.
The hotel location is perfect. It lies on the main road through the resort & less than a 5 minute walk to the beach (& the beach bars on an evening.) The best beach is Icmeler & the best way to get there is by going on a water taxi from Daisies bar 5 million each way (£2.00). The best bar was Apache on the promenade, just down from the water park. Meze restaurant just down from Blue Bay is very friendly and good value for money. You won't be able to avoid not going in, as the bold headed chap outside will make you feel guilty every night you walk past!! (he was really nice).
You must experience a Dolmus ride. Their bus service is really easy to use & it is 1 million (40p) to travel anywhere in the resort on a green coloured bus.
We probably wouldn't go back to this hotel, as we were let down by the food & also the prospect of getting up so early to get a sunshade gave us a hangover just thinking about it!

| said: The hotel is in a brilliant location five minutes from the beach and the Dolmus is a great way of travel. It picks you up and drops you off at any location along the road. We only had one meal at the hotel, lunch it was really good. Breakfast was also provided which was fine. Only had one day by the pool and beach as we had packed in a fair few trips, I would recommend booking these outside of the hotel or representative as they are the same tours at half the price! I was staying with my mother who is a light sleeper; hence we had to change accomdation three times. All rooms were clean and basic. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Marmaris is a lovely place a bit touristy but Icelmar is only a Dolmus ride away and a lot quieter! Although if you want the madness Marmaris has it...it accommodates all types of holidayers, from partying to chilling. I love Turkey, and the Turkish are really lovely people, I had a great holiday. The hustling can be a bit much. But you just need to be really assertive, and chat away about other things rather than what they are trying to sell you!! They love a good chat and are very friendly. One shop owner said to me never say "i will think about it" But to just say "not interested" this actually worked a treat. The apple tea is wonderful!!

| said: We stayed at blue bays 5th may for 2 weeks. Had a wonderful time. The food, entertainers, pool, rooms were excellent. Only the hotel reception staff spoilt this by their surly attitude, and also the belly dancer. The hotel could not afford to pay for a Turkish dancer. This was dissapointing. This was my 2nd time in marmaris and my sons 1st. Everyone is always friendly, and a lot of people in the shops remembered us from last year..the restaurants nearby were good value. The markets were good.
The castle interesting to visit and also the village tour.
Travel further afield to find a lot of interesting places. All in all an excellent holiday..

| said: We had a 2 bedroomed apartment. It is more basic than those perhaps what you would stay in in Spain or other European countries.
The maid came in every other day and cleaned up and made lovely arrangements out of the towels and left nice flowers or petals on the bed.
The staff were extremely helpful. Murad, Sam, Thomas and Blondie dealt with the entertainment and made sure everyone joined in (although my family did not need to much persuading!). There were karaokes, the party dances (which will live with us in our memories for ever!) Cha-cha slide - we became best on dance floor when the song eventually came out in the UK!!
There are 2 pools and the children pool as well. The pool area is always kept clean and the staff work extremely hard. If you are apprehensive about where you are staying or the holiday you have booked do not worry, you have made an extremely good choice and we will certainly return again one day!
It is worth having the air conditioning if you are in SC apartments as if you go in August (like we did) temparatures are well into the 100s by 10am!
If eating out we went to Andy's Bar (turn right out of hotel and about 300m on left hand side of road). Food excellent, service excellent and loads of free drinks! Our youngest child ate free so we tended to use the same place right the way through our stay and once again, they could not do enough for us.
As we were self catering we never really ate in the hotel cafe, apart from the odd plate of chips at lunch time but from what we saw, the food looked very apitising. We did however stay at the hotel for their Turkish Night where the food was all included for what worked out to be about £10 per head. A brilliant night, wonderful entertainment with a beautiful young turkish lady doing her belly dancing and then a man doing his belly dancing (he was the double of michael jackson) his waist was thinner than my wrists! They also had like country turkish dancing which was extremely enjoyable. Again another night well worth money and entertainment value.
Hope you have enjoyed reading the write up. One other thing, get yourselves on the lazy days boat trips, the mud baths and jeep safaris - again good value for money and thoroughly good days out. Buy them along the front as it is a lot cheaper than going with the reps, but you need to work that one out for yourselves.
Happy holidays. We are off to spain this year, hope we enjoy it as much as we enjoyed our stay at blue bays.!!!!!!

the hotel staff were ignorant and not very helpfull this made the entertainment around the pool basic, boring and repetative. Also when me and my friend were staying there we had stuff stolen out of the room, a cd player and money.

Thanks blue bays for making our stay a holiday to remember.
