Special requests at booking…. Sea view, 2/3 rd floor, air conditioning (Athsma health problem)
Hotel public areas, Generally clean, tidy and staff were friendly.
Bedrooms, Of the 14 days 4 never saw the maid, Just a quick tidy up with no real `cleaning` A poor standard for a 4+* showers had mould around the base and on a few occasions the showers were cold, had to request toilet paper on one occasion as it wasn`t replenished. Flaking paint on walls and ceiling. We were on top (5th) floor, the toilets are difficult if around 6` tall as your head hits the ceiling (the ceiling slopes at the rear). Tiles were missing from the balcony and several drain covers and grills were missing from the floor outside the bedrooms. We also had to request that the lights were switched on at night along the outdoor corridor which gave access to the top floor.
Pool area, Due to close proximity of neighbouring hotels it’s a game of musical chairs if you want to stay in the sun. The sun hits one corner of the pool around 9.00 am and leaves the pool area around 4.00 pm.
Sea view, Unless you are in the 4/5 floor the sea view is very limited, you are more likely to be looking into the neighbouring hotels which are very close.
Air conditioning, This was not working despite trying several rooms (it just appeared to blow warm air) I suspect it was switched off for end of season. Spoke to the manager and rep but no satisfactory conclusion. We did after a period get a fan from them but they then took this back for some reason.
Reception staff / rep, Never reacted to any complaints, only partly resolved when manager was requested.
Food, I would describe as ok at best. Boring menu especially if you are there for 2 weeks. Breakfast… fruit/salads/boiled eggs/Turkish type sausage/Turkish type sliced meat. (do not expect any English type breakfast) Main meals again mainly Turkish type food and boring. Lunch is much the same.
