| said: We have just returned from a 1 week holiday in Alcudia. (2 adults and 2 kids aged 7 and 4).
The flights were great the transfers no problem and the apartments very clean and basic but everything you need when on holiday.
We had a 1 bed apartment on 1st floor overlooking the pool area, which was really nice.
We had towels changed 3 times and linen once mid week which was sufficient.
We only ate breakfast in the complex once which was ok but did get nicer out (ie, bugs bunny's, woody woodpeckers, etc).
There were some good shows on of an evening at the complex but we went out and about quite a bit. The entertainer is a character!!!! if you like Shameless, our kids loved the parrot show and the snakes.
My only complaint was the amount of noise that there was of a night. The entertainment on the complex finished around midnight but the bars round the side ie, Good Fella's stayed open till 4am and it was really noisy. The kids had the bedroom and they managed to slept all night it was just us that couldn't.
This said other people in the hotel had no problems sleeping it seemed we just got unlucky with the location of our room, but glad we didn't go further into the season when it's likely to be worse still.
I would suggest using the Spar shop over the road as this is the cheapest we found and things are expensive over there.
Overall a great holiday the kids loved it. We would definately go back again but maybe pack some earplugs!! but for the money it was great.

| said: We have just returned from the sol de alcudia and what a great little hotel it was, rooms clean and spacious, good view.
Maria on reception was brilliant what she doesn’t know isn’t worth knowing.
The meals were very good especially the English breakfast, the more you buy the cheaper they are.
All the staff were very pleasant and good at what they do, the hotel is almost at the centre of everything but not so you can hear everything in fact its quite quiet.
There was entertainment every night not always by professionals but still good fun.
In all a very good hotel for couples or familys, would recommend it to anyone.

| said: We went to the sol de alcudia apartments for 2 weeks in mid September and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and was always there to help with anything. What ever you needed they would try their utter most too get it for you. The rep (Tracy) was very helpful making sure we got the most out of our holiday their. The entertainers (Olive Oil) and later (big al aka Frank because he looked like frank from shamless) were superb and got all the kids involved and entertained (so they got tired eairly :-) ) which then all the dads piled onto the bar and after a good few pints of san miguel went back to the "unhappy sheilas" too get told off. very good all round and would go back tomorrow given the chance. oh and arnold gutbucket is a must see if your going in the next few weeks.

| said: we arrived late on 8th september,but on arrival where quickly attended to by the hotel staff.very helpfull indeed when tired on arrival.we went out right after getting settled in the apartment to meet friends.the following morning :was it morning ?we can,t remember.the holiday after all that was a blast..... all the staff right down to the cleaners where brand new....could,nt do enough for you..entertianment was good..especially for the kids...we ..ahem adults" would recommend that.tracy aka...olive oil.was great with the kids..then big al took over on our second week.mad as a hatter that man..but the kids loved him.all in all we as group will be going back for the reunion in 2008...watch out alcudia pubs......we will be back.

| said: Have just returned from 2 weeks of the best holiday that we have had in years. Arrived a day and a half late due to the terrorist attack at Glasgow Airport and also had no luggage for the first few days. Tracy our rep was absolutely fantastic and within no time at all had suncreams, swimming shorts, t-shirts etc for us to use until we received our luggage. The staff at the resort were excellent from Marie on reception to the maids who were in every second day cleaning our apartments. The entertainer Shaun was fantastic with our son and the evening entertainment was wonderful. We certainly will be coming back here.

| said: Maids cleaned three times a week needed anything extra you got it, great location 5 min walk to beach.
Staff were great and kid friendly every one of them, the entertainer well what can I say the kids just loved him and shaun treated every kid like his own infact mine still write and keep in touch through MSN. Yes I would visit again, oh and don't forget the rep tracy she was on hand everyday and could'nt do enough for us.

| said: We arrived at the hotel early hours and we had no pool view and was at the back by cheers bar and with a small baby was a bit too loud with groups of lads comming out early hours shouting and sreaming other then that it was ok we did get moved a few days later to a pool view and it was fantastic we have been to these apartments before and would def go again.The hotel staff were fantastic any problems just let them know.The hotel location is great,right in the middle of everything.The enetertainment wasn't that good,not as good as before bingo every night and couldnt understand the entertainment rep he mumbled abit. The food was good value for money the breakfasts 3 euros and you get a lot but if you book more you get them cheaper.

| said: We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the sol apts, & we had a good time, its located right in the middle of the best places to eat & drink so theres plenty of places to go to.
The evening shows are a bit bland (ie; bingo every night) but that didnt bother us at all.
Good prices at the snack bar 3euro for a full breakfast is fine by me & the staff are excellent!!
Far too many older youths in the kiddies pool for the young ones to have any chance of play.
We also had problems with kids running wild up & down the corridors at night usualy after the nights entertainment was over.
The reps are there all day and are willing to help with most problems, would go back again.

| said: We only booked this holiday 2 weeks before we visited these apartments & with it being only a 2 star property, we were a ittle apprehensive before our arrival. There was no need to be. The apartments are basic but very clean,maid service 3 times a week. Super large balcony.
The general facilities are very good. Adaquate pool,tabled shaded area where you can enjoy snacks & drinks.
Entertainment as good if not better than you would expect. I would reccomend trying to obtain a room facing the pool. The othe side only faces a road with a fair bit of noise.
Location is very good. Five minute walk to the beech,local spar 50 yds away & shops & restaurants on the doorstep.
We did go during school term & the hotel was only just over half full. As explained earlier the general facilities around the hotel are good but there is not a lot of space so during the peak July/August period it might get a little more fraught.
Overall a high quality 2 star & excellent value for money. Would definatly return.

| said: Very central location, short walk everywhere, staff very helpful, only problem was peole putting towels on sunbeds and disappearing for half the day!!!!Didnt realy bother me as was on bach most of the time. Drinks and snacks are more expensive than most of places around so would recommend to go out for that.

| said: These apartments were excellent. Very clean, spacious, bright and airy. Large balconies overlooking the pool. Maid service was excellent. Everything you need is available microwave, toaster, pots and pans even provided a tea towel never had that before. Towels were whiter than white and soft which was easy on the sunburn.
Located right on top of everything, restaurants and entertainment within easy walking distance as was the beach. Which helped us as were a family of 16 ranging from the ages of 75 to 11 months.
The staff were excellent when we arrived it was about 8.30 in the evening and 16 to check into 5 adjoining apartment's. Maria was fantastic fast and efficient nothing was a problem for her any questions we had she could answer even to the time of the next bus.
Entertainment in the Sol De Alcudia was OK the kids loved it. The food was good well cooked and always hot. Dave the waiter was on elastic we were sure of this as he was always whizzing around to please everyone. He did a super job as did all the staff. They are all nice and pleasant always smiling and joking with the children.
The pool area and pool were cleaned every morning although at this time of year the water was cold but once you got over the shock of the cold it was OK.
The sunbeds were plentiful but hard plastic they could do with some soft spongy mattresses to place on them. Space was restricted and soon got filled up.
Games room available and Internet access. Would all definitely go back here again.

Ate out most of the time.
Is located near busy night spots and quite noisy.
I found the staff not very helpful at all as myself and 6 other rooms were burgled after we double locked our doors and police could find no forced entry.
The entertainment was more for adults as there was alot of foul language where small children were.
Even if this was the only place to go I would never go on holiday again.

The Apartments are basic but very clean. Me and My Family stayed in an Apartment. It was over looking the pool and it was very quite.
The Hotel Staff were very friendly.
Big Al the Entertainer was very funny and always had the children up doing things.
The Pool area got crowded. I would recommend the Pirates Adventure trip! It is an Exellent show for the whole family. Pirates Uncut i would recommend for the over 18's.
I would definitely come back to these apartments again!!

| said: The apartments are basic but very clean. My daughter & I stayed in a Studio Apartment which overlooked a road which unfortunately meant we suffered from the noise from Cheers Bar & Peach Pit & The bin-men who collected the rubbish at 1 & 3am !! Quieter rooms overlooked the pool.
The hotel staff were very friendly & helpful in particular the reception staff.
The Entertainment was ok. The shows were not that good & the entertainer Big Al was funny but after a couple of nights it was very samey.
The pool area got a bit crowded & people were queueing up from 8.30am to get to the pool area to reserve their sunbeds. I would also recommend the Pirates Adventure trip.
The location of the hotel is situated in a popular area & apart from the noise we experienced I would recommend these apartments.

| said: The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. It was a reasonably priced holiday and were very pleased with the holiday as a whole. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area.
We always got somewhere to sit around the pool, although there was the unusual sunbed scramble.
The hotel was in a good location and we weren't bothered by noise.
The entertainer did his best and you either loved him or hated him. The entertainment was centred around the children - musical chairs etc. We stayed in hotel and watched 2 shows - Arnold Gutbucket and and illusionist which were very good.
Went on 3 Excursions - Pirate Show - Superb, Rancho Grande, Excellent,. Caves of Drach not for us at all consider this carefully if you have children.
Lots of nice reasonably priced places to eat - Lunas Grill, Shakespeare, Castilla (Woody Woodpeckers). Breakfast for 3Euro including a drink well worth it.

| said: Have just come home, found the hotel very clean and staff very helpful, again hotel would be better with air conditioning, but you can hire fans for 3euros per day, which you will need.
Found pool a bit small for amount of people in hotel but if your room is at back of hotel you will look over a lovely pool of the hotel behind(its not well know but you can use this pool)which we did several times.
Entertainment ok but same each week. If your from Liverpool your love it here as most guest are from here and big Al who does most of the comparing comes from there(plus is dead ringer for bloke from shameless)
Hotel rooms fine but our beds were sofa beds not bad but boy did I enjoy getting back into mine, noise from cheers and peach pit ok if you keep doors shut.

The reps at our hotel were nt too helpful and could hardly raise a smile?
The entertainment was ok and the guy who had to do the entertaining did his best with the resources available to him, he seemed a nice bloke?

| said: On arrival the reception staff were very helpful and efficient. Once arriving into our room (at 3am) we found that it was very noisy due to the Cheers Bar being just down the road. It is good to be near a bars etc. but not when you are trying to sleep - ear plugs are a must!. From talking to other people who stayed there it would appear that the apartments overlooking the pool were a lot less noisy.
The apartments were clean and there was entertainment every night and food was average.
We should have been aware of the fact that it was right near clubs and bars. It seemed that if you had children you would get a quieter spot!
We will defintately not be returning to this hotel and will certainly be more careful in the future about where we choose.

The rooms were cleaned most days and done to a good standard.
We never stayed in the hotel at night so I can't really comment on the entertainment but friends of ours said it was good.
I would definitely stop in this hotel again if it was in a different resort.

| said: The Sol de Alcudia Apartments were fantastic to stay in. It was our first package holiday with Thomson and we decided after only being there for 2 days that we had landed on our feet by staying at these apartments.
Our holiday was allocation on arrival and we have to say that we couldn't have picked a better place to stay.
The hotel was always clean and tidy and the staff were extremely friendly no matter what time of day or night.
The entertainment was fantastic, all day there were activities for children and adults and every evening there was a show on that the whole family could watch.

| said: We have a large family which ment we had to have 2 1 bedroom they got us rooms next to each other.the rooms were spotless.
The only downfall was no air con. The maid service was daily she was great with the kids infact all the staff were helpful and friendly the pools were great 1 large 1 small I spent most time in the small pool having 3 kids under 5.
Sol de Alcudia is in a great location just a short walk to the beach no hills just a few metres to the heart of alcudia plenty of suppermarkets nearby entertainment was all day with professional shows about 4 times a week we loved it here and we will return.

| said: A warning for 2 bed apartment uses. What the brochure does not tell you are the apartments are situated above 5 bars, a kebab shop (open till 4am) and a Chineses Restaurant.
There is a play park across from the apartments too. Not recommended if you want to sleep. Only allow 1 shower per hour unless cold.
Apart from this, the staff are really nice and friendly, so all I can say if you go, booked the 1 bed apartment not 2.

| said: Our first time in Alcudia, very impressed with the Apartments, we booked a two bedroom, and it was ok, but was directly above several bars and snack outlets..some of which are open until 4 am, and will be very noisy in high season..take ear plugs!
The one bedroom apartments overlook the pool and are quieter. Overall an excellent place to stay, only minutes from the resort's bars and restaurants.
Pool a good size and kept very clean. Plenty of sunbeds and space around the pool. Friendly staff, most of who are English speaking. The white rose pub/restaurant next door serves the best breakfasts and staff are very friendly!
Don't look anywhere else...as food is similar but not of same high standard. Excellent Tapas bars nearby, and loads of excellent places to eat and dirnk. We are going back next year!!!

| said: Just got back and already want to book for next year. This was our first holiday as a family.
The hotel was absolutely brilliant. The staff were friendly and spoke very good English.
We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was ample. The rooms were clean and spotless and the maids came in every other day.
Karen and Colin were our entertainment team and they were superb, they kept the adults and kids entertained all day around the pool.
I will definitely be recommending this hotel to other families.
I can't thank Thomson enough especially our reps Dawn and John. Can't wait to go back!!!

| said: We booked a late deal which was well priced.
We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, maids running around day and night.
The apartments were spacious and spotless, we had two sofa beds (would have preferred a double bed), table for four, TV, Microwave and all the usual crockery. The bathroom was clean, the shower fantastic, lots of hot water and very powerful - be warned. This apartment was great for two people but any more would have been a squeeze.
The reception staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English - which made things a little too easy.
The bar was nice and inviting with entertainment every evening for children and adults alike. I was very impressed with the way the entertainers roped in the children and got them involved.
The pool area was lovely with a nice large pool and separate kiddie’s pool - very cold water at this time of year though. I should imagine that it would get very crowded in the summer months.

| said: This was a last minute holiday, which we booked independantly. We got a great deal for just the accommadation with Thomson, and then booked our flights. We had a two bedroom apartment decent size bedrooms plently of storage space.
It was extremley clean, spacious, 4 ring electric hob, a good selection of utensils plates etc.It had a toaster and microwave.(No kettle-but easy enough to boil in the microwave)It had a table and four chairs, and a T.V with english channels (ceebebbies Great!).
Due to it being out of season it was very cold, but an english man had just set up a business for hiring alsorts, so he saved the day,the heater was great.(Information in the hotel reception.)Our room was overlooking a play area, nice enough view, however would imagine that there could possibly be some noise in season as our room was directly over restaurants and bars. (This was a side road not the main area.
The staff were helpful, the bar was nice a decent size, but could imagine it could get a little on the busy side in the season. There was a pool table, and a seperate childrens room, which seemed to have a selection of games in. The entertainment was very good,they had about a 2 hour session for 1-8 yr olds of an evening (My 10 month daughter loved it) then we had bingo and quiz.
We only stayed for five days, but the entertainment got you to mingle and was quite nice. You didn't have to play if you didn't want. There was a bit of music in between this usually went on until 10pm. Not too sure what happened after. They also entertained in the day, which was also adult based there were offering Rifle shooting!
The pool was clean and of as reasonable size (seperate baby pool) there seemed to be plently of sunbeds, and a shaded area of tables and chairs. there was a pool side bar/food area.

| said: Sol Alcudia Center is an Excellent hotel. The staf were very friendly and willing to help. They were more help than the airtours reps!!! The hotel entertainment Boljka and Ellie these guys are great. They do all the adult children and teenager activities and if you want to do something they havn't organised they will organise it for you. E.G fancie a game of footie on the beach Boljka will organise it and join in these guys need a medal they are great. They speak great English too Ellie was really helpfukll when we needed a chemist. By the way this is about a two minute walk fromt he hotel you just walk out the front of the hotel walk straight along in front you will come to a bridge go over it and keep going straight bell view hotel will be to youre left and the chemist is on the right. They also speak English too. Back to our holiday. The restaraunt next door is also excellent they cook on a bbq out the front we wnet there most nights. An deven had a table reserved and all done ready for us on our last night. Which was a nice suprise after only saying we will be back tommorow it is our last night. They made our last night really special. The beach is a 2 - 3 minute walk too which is great. and night life all around too cheers is opposite this is great a must visit. If you want a quite night ask for a room at the back of the hotel which over looks the pool if you like to sit on the balconie and watch the night live ask for a room out the front. Again Boljka and ellie the entertainers what starts they are great. Hotel Clean and air conditioned we will definatly go back. *****

| said: This was one of our favourite holidays. Alcudia itself is fantastic for families and these apartments were great.
The entertainment for the kids was really great and that made our holiday as our dauhgter loved every minitue. The staff are friendly and the rooms and pool are spotless.
Thinking of going back this year.

| said: the hotel sol alcudia was one of the best hotels we have stayed in the room was very nice and especially clean. we had breakfast in the hotel and this was very enjoyable and reasonably priced.the hotel location was very good as not in centre but not far to walk.all the staff were very helpful and the entertainmnet for young ones was brilliant.

| said: this hotel is great,located just a walk away from the local bars,shops and beach.the staff are very freindly and are wlling to give a helping hand.the entertainment is brilliant for children but not for the older parties.the maids attend ur room every other day. the hotel was always clean and tidyand the pool was never dirty.
we have been to this hotel twice now!!!
