| said: We just spent 2 weeks at the sea club apartments and had a great time. It is a few minutes walk from the town and the beach is just down the road!!
We did encounter some problems like the safe we hired in our room not working properly, the air conditioning gave off an awful stench which the repair men did come and fix and then we had a leak from the air conditioning too. All was resolved pretty quickly!
There was a couple of attempted burglaries too but they was chased away before they got in. so maybe i can suggest to ask to have a room with a balcony!
The pools and gardens were well maintained but please be warned, it is very expensive to buy food from shop on site and around the complex. Ask the rep where there is a big supermarket, which is a 5-10 minute walk and you will save yourself a fortune!
The trips by first choice are really expensive too.
Also be warned if you hire a car by sun cars you will be badly stung. A 15 euro waiver charge will be pushed upon you per day as they say one scratch,mark, dent will cost you 600 euro and a car seat will be an additional 7 euros per day!
Lastly we hired a cot and that cost us 40 euros for the fortnight and it stunk and was filthy.
Other than that (lol) you'll have a great time!!

| said: My partner and I stayed at the sea club resort in july 2007. We stayed in the D Block and upon arrival felt that the appartments were quite far away from the reception and entertainment. However we soon came to appreciate our location as it was a 2minute walk away from the centre of the complex but far enough away that at night there were no disturbances.
We had our own convinence supermarket just for the D block as well a seperate swimming pool which we were always able to get sunbeds. The sea club had great bbq's.
If you are thinking of coming to the sea club we would definatly recommend the D Block.

| said: We arrived during an awful storm....The sea club apartments are probably the best we've stayed at very clean beautiful gardens fantastic pools and play areas for very small children were great.
Walk a little further for better value restaurants, take plenty of spray for the bites from the insects...... definitely 10/10

| said: Originally we were put in d block. We asked for a room in the centre of the complex and were moved straight away.
There was nothing wrong with d block, it was just a little too far away from the main hotel for us.
Room was clean and well equipped. All the pools and the surrounding areas were clean and tidy.
we didn't use the restaurant, but the bar and reception staff were good.
Entertainment was what you would expect in any family complex, but I thought Elvis was very good.
This is complex made for young children.
The pools are all quite shallow.
You are not encouraged to hang around the bar after 11.30 and this is good for couples with young children.

| said: We were situated in block D which is away from the main complex but we found this was better as the pool wasn't overcrowded and there were no problems getting a sun bed. It seemed very friendly. We only ever eat breakfast at the hotel as we like to eat at different restaurants but the full breakfast was excellent. Would probably try some meals at the complex next time.
The location was perfect as we were close to the main strip and not too far from the beach.
Didn't have too many dealings with the staff but didn't have any problems with them. They were polite and helpful.
Didn't see any of the entertainment as we went out everynight.

| said: The apartment was cleaned every day except Thurs and Sunday. Towels changed every day. Very spacious. We were in block d, it seemed a long way away but it only took about 5 minutes to walk to all the shops.
Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.
Plenty of entertainment for the children. We are hopefully going back next year.

| said: This is an excellent hotel there was so much going on we didn't have time to do everything. Children are catered for with excellence even pony riding which was a definite favourite with my 5 year old
We were in block d which is situated at the back of the resort and it was nice I was glad to be there rather than near the main club area can be quite noisy for people in blocks a and b.
The room was cleaned everyday except Thursday and Sunday we had no problems at all rooms are good sized.
The pool bar in blocked is great and definitely have the English breakfast it is lovely.
Alcudia is a lovely resort plenty of bars and restaurants that bend over backwards to entertain children Cheers is across the road from sea club and is fantastic food not great but shows all live football....
Would definitly go back to this hotel
Alcudias old town is a must markets on Tuesday and Sunday but trying to get public transport on these days is a nightmare but go to market good bargains it finishes at 1pm so go early. Also visit Alcanada the other side of the port it is beautiful you can see the lighthouse at the entrance of the bay of Alcudia it is beautiful

| said: Our party contained 4 adults and 4 children (10, 8, 8 and 6).
This was our first visit to Alcudia. The complex looked lovely on arrival. Then we were told we would be in Block D, which is the old 'Sea Club 2'. (They were fully booked and had no other apartments free, even when we offered money!) We had to drag our cases past 2 other lovely pools surrounded by villas and play areas, then we were back out of the complex on the far side of 'Sea Club 1' where we had to cross public roads to reach our block. These roads are fairly quiet, but you get the odd boy racer coming down them at 60 mph. We were in apartments across the road from the pool. In front of us was a grassy area and some swings, very old and rusty! Behind was a yard and a gym. We didn't experience any undue noise apart from the huge husky dog tied up in the yard who liked to howl every now and then during the night!!!!!
The pool was clean and warm with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and the staff in the bar were pleasant, but slow.
We were a good 15 mins walk from the beach - which was beautiful, wish we'd been nearer. We were only 5 mins from the Hydropark, which is very small, but good for an afternoon's fun. Don't eat at the water park though, the food was so disgusting I wouldn't feed it to the husky!?
Didn't eat at the complex, but found some lovely restaurants in Alcudia's old town.
Didn't watch any of the complex's entertainment - seen it all before!!! The Grease show etc (you know what I mean).
The night before we were leaving 3 apartments in our block were broken into during the early evening. Police were called. But as we left early the next morning we did not get to find out what had been stolen.

| said: We booked the Sea Club on an accommodation only basis and booked the flights separately.
The Sea Club used to be Sea Club 1 & 2 but now it is all one complex. It is quite a large low rise complex and although it is all one complex now, they cannot move the accommodation so it is still spread across a large area. We stayed in what used to be called Sea Club 2. This is now block D of the whole complex.
We were in the block with rooms numbered 200, this is the block that has the pool in front of it. In block D there are 4 blocks of accommodation, all the same all one floor.
If you do not have a pool you will have a playground or large sand pit in front. There is something for the children to do no matter where you are. Block D has a pool with a small section for children, pool bar and a small playground, we thought it was excellent. Very clean, great location, quiet, and all the English guests seem to use this block.
The other side, which used to be Sea Club 1 has 4 blocks, all with pools and all with pool bars. The main restaurant is over there and you can book breakfast and evening meals. The food was great. Everything you could want for breakfast and a great variety on the buffet in the evenings. The takeaway menu is also very good, so are the pizzas.
It was spotlessly clean everywhere and the side we were on was totally refurbished this may so everything is clean.
The entertainment staff were great, one English. Lots to do in the day for kids and adults and the staff did their shows in the evenings along with a couple of professional shows.
There are 2 launderettes on site and they also have ironing boards to use free of charge. 2 supermarkets also on site, hairdryers in the bathrooms.
In the kitchen area there is a microwave, toaster and kettle, 2 rings and fridge. Air conditioning in the lounge. Towels changed nearly every day.
On the side we were in people seemed to leave their lilos and boats in the water for everyone to use and when they went home, so I wouldn’t bother taking them with you.
Excellent complex and would definitely go again.

| said: DUMP!! We stayed here early Sept with our 9 month old baby, we were put upstairs which was a nightmare with buggy. Cooker had no markings on it very hard to use, appliances very poor, no aircon.
While we were there a lot of robberies were takening place which made us very insecure.
Music very loud all day until after 11 at night.
Rep Kay was the rudest and most bad mannered person I have ever come across in my life.
I would never stay here again to be honest place should be closed down!

| said: I have had 4 brilliant holidays in Alcudia up to this year this holiday complex is the pits. Theft has been rife at this complex from the start of holiday season and nothing has been done to rectify the situation.
I have been one of the unlucky ones to have been robbed by someone dressed as a cleaner who entered my apartment with a key. During my 2 week stay at sea club 2 there were 8 other families subjected to the same ordeal out of which 7 showed no sign of forced entry.
Our rep Kay Oliver gave her usual welcome speech put your valuables in your safe, but what do you class as valuables when items like trainers designer clothes are being stolen you cannot put these things in a safe. I myself had my mobile phone stolen, and that went in the space of 30 minutes from me using it to my wife coming back from the pool to get changed.
The management of sea club 2 would not even come out to the complex when I reported the theft and told reception that someone had seen a woman dressed as cleaner enter my apartment using a key.
Hope this letter is read by other people thinking of booking a holiday to this theft ridden complex be very wary of the bogus cleaners. Would not wish this complex on my worst enemy nobody who works all year to go away then gets the treatment I got deserves that. But then again I was only there for 2 weeks it just gets swept under the table. The police were no better don’t forget we are foreigners in their country.
Just wish that our travel agent had known about what was going on at this complex then my hard earned money would have been spent elsewhere, so holiday makers beware sea club 2 is rife with theft nobody is safe from the bogus cleaners

| said: We arrived at about 12:00 in the afternoon and it was very clean. The man at reception was very helpful and told us were are apartment was.
The holiday was going brill until the second week and when we realised that some of our belongings had gone missing out of our room. We were very puzzled at who could have taken them, but then we realised that only the cleaners had a spare key and it must have been them. We met up with a couple who were staying in the same complex as us and they were 3 doors down from us and they told us that on one occasion the cleaners had been in and done their job then about 5 minutes later another one came over and went in the room and came out about 5 minutes after.
They wondered why, it was only when we arrived back at the apartment that we realised my dads mobile had disappeared also my parents heard that over the two weeks we had been there 11 other couples had been robbed.
The rep didn’t do much to let the new arrivals know she just said put all your valuables in the safe provided, but how can you know what valuables are when objects from clothes, trainer, teddy bears, cigarettes and jewellery are going missing, like I said to my parents at the time how can you put shoes and outfits in a safe that is no bigger than a crisp box?
Overall the holiday was a sham because what we paid for it the cleaners got back in their own way....
All I can say is anyone who has booked to go there beware..............

| said: To start of there is to much theft out of appartments myself being one of the unfortunate ones. During our stay at sea club 2 there was 9 seperate thefts,ie.soft toys watches, mobile phones, cameras, money and any designer clothes that just happenend to be in wardrobes.
Our rep Kay Oliver just gave out the usual rep talk put valubles in safe,how do you put trainers and clothes in a safe. Management at sea club 2 very reluctant to call police when I asked them to. To be honest we are just holiday makers and we are only there for 2 weeks.I am putting this out on the web as a warning to other holiday makers, be very wary of the cleaners out of the 9 thefts while I was there 8 gained access with a key, and the one that robbed me was dressed as cleaner. I have 2 witnesess who said that a woman dressed as cleaner went into my room with a key.
My holiday was ruined along with 8 other families I can truly say that after 5 holidays in majorca I would not set foot within a mile of Sea Club 2 again.
ATMs watch out for the lebonese loop, it's a device that is stuck to front of ATM and can read the details of your bank account and before you know it some thieving scumbag has emptied your account.
I was lucky my card would only go in so far and I pulled it back out and the device came of the ATM. I have passed this device over to police in Alcudia they have never seen one before, so holidaymakers just be wary when using these machines

| said: We found the level of noise from the entertainment at night extremely loud and we also had noise from two nearby hotels, so it was torture until midnight, especially with two small boys to get to sleep. Why can't they reduce the noise after 11pm?
This spoilt our holiday and we could not wait to return home for the peace and quiet.
The place was clean and well equipped with a nice bathroom.

| said: The apartments were spacious and kept clean but extremely hot, air condition would not go a miss. The restaurant was immaculate and the food was good and plenty of it, reasonable charge. The pool area could have been kept more tidy during the day but in the end it was the holiday makers that were not putting their rubbish in the bins. Like the resort the hotel is geared up for families with children under the age of 12, dont take any teenagers with you as they would be bored. I know!! The music at the poolside was very load and repetative and out of date, so make sure you take your own. The bar staff was very good/fast and friendly.
The entertainment was a bit conry but was ok after you had a few beers, and karaoke was really funny

| said: I stayed in sea club 2 and got back last week some things i would of liked better but it couldnt have eveything. Me and my family really enjoyed it and it was great we have already booked again to go at christmas. the only fault was one of the staff was a bit grumpy but the rest including the maids and entertainment staff were really friendly and spoke english which helped.The entertainment was good and we were always in fits of laughter and they certainly entertained us.
The main resort and the beach is just 10 minutes away and has plenty of things for the kids. especially the water park the slides were brill.
I cant wait till my next holiday to sea club 2 and would like to thank eveybody who made it such a great holiday!!

| said: My partner and myself went to Sea Club II and enjoyed every second of your well spent time there. Everything was excellent and we would without a doubt go there again!
There were no cockroaches or anything at all for those people who said there were. The only pest was gnats and they werent around too much!
Hotel staff were superb! always on hand to help if you needed them and they spoke english too which helped!
As we went in July the weather was bubbling! Too hot for me. Slap on that sun cream or be prepared to be awake all night in pain! the weather was at times unbearable, so be careful!
They entertainment was fantastic, even tho they did have childrens entertainment at the beginning of the evening at 7.30pm and adults entertainment started at 9.30 till 12.childrens entertainment, even that was hilarious! we both laughed all night! Drinks were pricey but that didnt bother us as we were on holiday to enjoy! we met alot of families out there who enjoyed and we had a excellent laugh all night! The pool was brilliant nice and cool after burning all day in the sun!
Cleaners didnt bother us at all. If they were around and noticed we had left our rooms then they would come and clean, but otherwise we didnt hear from them! New towels were delivered when we were out.
Town was down the street, selling everything you needed, like food and clothing. Watch out for the lookie lookie men and women, they do nag a bit. My advice HAGGLE with them and you should be able to get a good price on the item you want! one man lost his temper with us as we haggled too much!
Food was a little bit expensive but gorgeous!
Went on a trip on a Catamarang on the med sea! what a day out!!! had a bbq on board, and a swim in the clear blue sea! cost 50 euros each but well worth it!
Went to PRINCE OF WALES, what a place, lively and colourful. Good atmosphere for those who are out to party! there were many more clubs and bars but that was the best!
All in all the holiday was the best and i would definately go there next year, or maybe before that!!!!!! hee hee!

| said: There were 8 of us who stayed at SEA CLUB 2. All of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on our 11 day holiday. Our rooms were next to each other which was good. We had a spacious room which 3 of us shared. There was no air con so it got really hot but it was ok if you slept with the patio door open. It was really clean, we were told that the maids come round every other day, never saw them as we were always in bed recovering from the night before!
Fanjita our cleaner was friendly, always gave us our clean towel, what a nice lady she was!
The man at reception didnt like us asking for clean towels (sometimes we missed Fanjita as she didnt ever disturb us while we were sleeping, bless) he was rude to us but we always got our towels...silly man.
Cant rate the entertainment, we never stayed around to see it. Although one night when we did stay we were too loud and had complaints...some people!!
Be careful of the curtain rails in the bedrooms, they fell down many times on top of us.
The swimming pool was nice. It was cold if you didnt heat up in the sun. It was always best to lay in the sun for half an hour before getting in, that way you didnt feel the coldness.
The supermarket in reception was reasonable, it was only small so cant expect it to be brilliant. Although there was a spar about 5mins away which sold everything.
Would def go again. About a 15min walk to the beach which aint bad and about a 5-10min walk to restaurants, bars and clubs.

| said: We visited the Sea Club Apartments in Sept 2003, after reading the reviews on this forum i was expecting something alot different!! ( the reviews were not complimentary)
The apartments were clean & Basic but really nice. We had a toaster, small kitchen area for our catering needs . We also has an electronic safe ( rented for 10 euros) which was really handy.
The entertainment was based around Children ( which is a pain if you dont have any!!) but the staff were really friendly.
The beach was quite a walk ( about 15mins but in the heat could be sometimes unbearable) the shops and restaurants were about 10 mins away and catered for all tastes.
All in all we had an excellent time .
The only fault with the apartments is that the launderette was out of service ( but it happens!) and the cleaners came really early......

| said: I have stayed in this resort 3 times now 2000 2002 and 2003 and the first twice it was lovely no complaints at all! However last time there were new owners and it had gone downhill!!! Maid service supposed to be every day was only 4 times a week and even though we were told to leave towels in the bath if we wanted them changed, some days they didn't take them. Also the last twice they used a mop to clean the rooms but this time they just dropped off clean bedding. Also they were reluctant to empty our bin and we had to do it ourselves.
The entertainment was the worst I've ever seen nothing at all for adults and the children didn't seem interested so it was a waste of time!
We also had money stolen by a little old spanish lady selling flowers for a cent. My fiance took out his wallet to give her money and she managed to distract us taking 20 euros out of his wallet. We didn't notice until later but it was lucky we don't carry much money if it was a family with children she would have had a lot more. I told the rep and asked her to warn new guests but when I listened to the welcome meeting she didn't mention a thing.
Probably the thing that ruined it for us was the noise level there. There were people in and around the pool shouting until 5 in the morning every single night we were there. I complained to reception twice but all they did was send a security guard who just walked round the pool and did nothing. We were so tired all the time it completely ruined it for us!
The apartments as such are not bad and the food is ok but I would never go here again ever!!

| said: we were self catering but we did have breakfast a few times by the pool.wouldnt really reccomend it as it was expensive best to walk round to the queens bar much better value for money! beach was about ten mins away not far but we had a freak heatwave last year so it wasnt a pleasant walk to do! bars and restaurants about 10 mins away. hotel staff were friendly and polite but pool staff were reluctant to let you sit inside restuarant area when it got too hot because they didnt want the mess! a very clean hotel,maid service every day!entertainment not much cop but we prefer to go to different places anyway. we would visit sea club 2 again.

| said: Last Year we visited Alcudia and stayed in these apartments and it was the best holiday ever!!! I stayed with my mum and dad in a room. There were over 20 of us though all in the same apartments, and we were all quite close to each other as well!!!
On the apartments themselves, there were loads of things you could do, there were 2 pools, one was more packed than the other! There were those Bikes (chucklevision bikes) where 4 or more could peddle for about an hour, that was really good fun and a good laugh!

| said: I have stayed at the Sea Club II apartments 4 times and have never had a bad experience!
I first went to the apartments in June 1998. Since the Sea Club II block is actually quite small it was easy to start chatting to people round the pool and you soon got to know quite a few familar faces. The staff were also very nice and we ate in the restaurant many nights/mornings as the food was nice and reasonably priced.
Since then I have returned to Sea Club II in June 2001, 2002, 2003 and was happy to see the same staff(who actually remembered us!) and many of the same guests from previous holidays. I'm sure if you asked about, you would find many of the guests were returning for the second or third time.
Over the four years I will admit that the entertainment quality has varied. The first few years the entertainment was based in Sea Club II alone (with the weekly football match between Sea Club II and Sea Club I the only time they mixed) whilst last year the water polo was played with all the sea club guests moving round the different pools so as one lot of guests weren't having it at their pool all the time.
The entertainers this year were also of differing nationalities but all spoke perfect English and were very enthusiastic. Each week the entertainers would put on a show. The show could be seen at Sea Club 1 and then Sea Club 2 on alternate weeks.
Cocktail Challenges , Darts, Pool, Volleyball and French Boules were organised daily for those who wanted to participate. The kid’s clubs also returned this year.
I also ate in the restaurant and although the food was just as good, prices had gone up.
The complex has been taken over and I think the new owner is trying to make it more up market by making the staff wear ties etc at night and having everyone eat outside.
This has resulted in it losing some of its laid back atmosphere.
The complex was just as clean as ever and if you're up early enough you'll see lots of staff cleaning up leaves etc and the pool before all the guests get up. As for the cleaners arriving early, it depends if you're apartment is at their starting point. Over the four years I've never had the cleaners in before 9am although they do usually arrive before noon.
This year, if you were not up before 10am it was hard to find a sunbed. There is a policy that you cannot leave towels on sunbeds if you are going away for a significant period of time. I have actually seen towels being collected from sunbeds which were not in use.
Overall I would definitely recommend these apartments and I will be visiting again!

| said: Visited Sea Club II Aug 2002. I was pleasantly surprised by the complex. We had a 1 bedroomed apt and there was ample space for a family of four. The hotel staff were very helpful and always polite. The rooms were cleaned 6 times a week and the maids were very helpful. The hotel is just for the British, which means that you never get a sunbed by the pool, we moan about the Germans but by god the English are worse.
The entertainment at the hotel was OK. The entertainment staff go out of their way to ensure that their guests are looked after. However be prepared to join in, or hide in the bar! We didn't eat at the hotel but others commented that the food was fine.
The hotel is situated about 5 mins from the main resort, and 10 mins from the beach. We spent most days walking to the beach which was very busy, but we always managed to get a couple of sunbeds. Little tip, if you get a sunbed after 1:30pm, the rent man has normally gone so they are free.
The only downside of the hotel was the locals seemed to enjoy riding their motorbikes up and down the road in the early hours of the morning. Also we had some idiots singing through the streets, although these were British idiots say no more.
All in all would stay at the hotel again.

| said: The studio we stayed in was very cramped there wasnt many facilities, the beds werent proper beds they were sofas. There were no balconies or terraces on the studies only on the apartments. The cleaner came too early at about 8-9am most days. There was roads running through the middle of the complex, the shop didnt sell much and was quite expensive.There was only one swimming pool and it didnt have many sun beds. The beach was about a 15 min walk and the shops,bars,restaurants were a 5min walk. The entertainment was the same everyday. Its not really a complex for children.
