| said: Before me and my friends arrived we read loads of the reviews as it was our first girlie holiday we were aged between 17-20. we read so many bad ones and were bit wary of flying out but when we got there it was fine.. when we arrvied we relised most of the bad reviews were from families.
The oro blanco is the type of hotel where the young and lively stay i think the marjority of playa de las americas is for the young and lively. why take your families there in the first place?
I understand the fact that the 'youth' were loud but were on holiday course were going to be loud were having fun. I admit there was one night i got annoyed with people up at half 5 in the morning i managed to sleep through it in the end anyway. if you just ask them to keep it down they would were not all that bad. Anyway we had the most basic room of the hotel ever i think which was ok we didn't much of a kitchen though.
Rooms were tidy and cleaned regulary apart from sundays i think. the pool area was lovely one of the nicest pools in the area i think. The pool bar was great the people were lovely and the food was reasonably priced and tasty.
The restaurants out were nice, amazing restaurant called american dreams and of course there was a maccy d's and a burger king open late for you to get some drunken food. The bars were alright nothing special just the same as at home if i had to reccommend one it would o'neils cocktail bar.. 2 of my mates come 1st and 3rd in their wet t-shirt competition they got free drinks for it.
The clubs were ok i would recommend rags over tramps.. 10 euros to get in tramps and it was dead :(. If you get offered to go to a foam party at the san miguel castle go its really good foam stings your eyes little bit though. The people on the streets that try offering you things just shout no and walk straight pass always works ;)! But overall i had a really good holiday got a great tan for a week had a laugh with my friends made new friends.

| said: Have just returned from a week long stay and can honestly say that these apartments are not as bad as some of the reports that have been written. Our room (016) was on the first floor and had 2 bedrooms, a lounge area with couches that could be converted into beds, a kitchen, a bathroom and 2 balconies that overlooked the pool area. On arriving at the apartments we had a speedy check in even though it was 1.30 in the morning. Our transfer to the airport took about 20 mins, but we did drop off at another hotel first. The hotel staff were always courteous and our maid was lovely. The apartments get cleaned/beds made every day except Wed and Sunday. Our sheets and towels weren't changed during our stay but I didn't complain as it wasn't a big issue to me. The cooking facilities are very basic (2 electric rings and a tiny grill/oven. There was entertainment on 2 nights whist we were there but as we were out and about every night I cannot really comment on what it was like. Some of the rooms face a busy main road and I think that if you had one of these rooms it would be quite noisy as the patio doors do not really block out much noise. On a couple of nights we were woken by people coming back from bars and clubs and diving into the pool.
We would definately return to the Oro Blanco apartments if we had the same room as there really wasn't anything we could complain about.

The tv cabnet was falling to pieces we informed reception but nothing got done till the day before we was travelling home.
The hotel is supposed to be a 2 star rating but when you get there is isnt any it is 2 keys as they have had there stars took off them.
The entertainment is none existant, there was supposed to be things on at nite but all the 2 weeks we was there there wasnt anything on.
The food menu says its served all day but if the staff have had enough they stop cooking when ever they like.
you can stay in the hotel for 30 euros a night if you just turn up there. Which is a lot in price diffrence as we payed 3200 pounds for all over us.

The rooms are basic, this would be ok if they was cleaned on the odd occasion,i never got to sleep befor 3 am every night the noise was unbearable, and the poor security gard was running around all night trying to keep law & order, one night my door bell rung at 2.15 am,i opened the door and the security guard run into the room onto the balcony and was shouting at the noisy spanish neighbours.
when i told the rep the next day she said she could not do anything about it.thanks for nothing.
if you are between 18-25 you will love this hotel if not avoid it.

The food wasn't great but 10 seconds either side of the hotel there are restaraunts which serve good food I must recommend bus stop their breakfasts and their roasts were great.
There was no entertainment but with so much near by wasnt an issue.
Pool was cold but overall was pleased with it.

The apartment was OK for two people but would not like to share for 4.. The pillows though are rock hard lol...
Plenty of beds around the pool for this time of year but think maybe abit of a space problem in the summer season...as the sun is only on one side..
The actual location is great we were able to walk to all the place's we wanted to go ... with no problems at all ...Starcos bar area was in reach in 5 Min's walk...
So overall had great week there and would definitely visit again...By the way bus stop bar is great for breakfast and is only two Min's walk...

| said: We are a couple approaching the end of the working period of our lives and have only just switched from 'skiing' to 'sun'for our winter break. Tenerife itself was a first and approached with trepidation.
We booked a studio appartment in a low cost package. The room was sparsely furnished but nice and spacious - plenty large enough for a couple who intended to be out of the hotel for most of the time. The cooking gallery was small but had a kettle and fridge. Plenty big enough for us but my wife says that she would not want to cook a meal in it.
The room had a nice sized bathroom with a good shower. We had a balcony overlooking the terrace and, having read previous posts, looked for but did not see any rooms that did not have a balcony!
The first four nights were reasonably quiet with older couples and young families but some of these were replaced by parties of 20 something males in mid week who enjoyed balcony parties so the noise level at night rose quite a lot. Hotel security did not seem to try and do anything about loud noise. Overall it was OK and we got on well with fellow guests.
Avoid the reps welcome meeting as it is just a shop to sell you overpriced tours.
The hotel suited our needs very well and I would recommend it to families and older couples.

| said: Our second stay at these apartments, we were there the same time last year. We had a great time then so booked again for this year and we were not disapointed.
The apartments were clean and nicely decorated, simple but very tidy. Our room was in a different block to last year which was better for us. It was on the third floor but with no apartments above which meant we rarely got any noise, our balcony was big with patio furniture on it. We had a fairly good view but we faced the Oro Negro.
The Oro Blanco is far enough away from all the noisy nightlife but still within walking distance.
The reception staff are very helpful and there is an English lady who works on there.
The pool and sun terrace are quite big but sunbeds aren't always availiable unless you get down there with towels before 9am like we did. The pool bar serves good food which is cheap and tasty, drinks are cheap and they also do happy hours. The staff on the pool bar are English and totally great fun to speak to.
There is not much entertainment but you only have to go a few yards down the road to some great bars. I think there is a karaoke night in the Oro Blanco and they show a film every night from 10pm a different one each night.
The Oro Blanco gave us an excellent holiday for the 2nd year running if we had'nt already booked to go to Benidorm for two weeks next June then I would have been going back there again. That must tell you its good! We didn't even see a cockroach.
Happy holidays to anyone who will be visiting the Oro blanco, it really isn't as bad as some people make out. Oh and for those of you looking for a good English bar with good English food, try the Giddy Goose. As you leave the apartment from the back alley, turn left follow it down and when you get back on the main street cross over and it's on your right hand side near the cash and carry shop. Great service, nice staff and excellent food.

| said: After reading some of the comments regarding this hotel I was really worried what our accommodation would be like. I was dreading getting one of the rooms without a balcony. When getting of the transfer bus from the airport and seeing the hotel for the first time it didn’t look much at all but on entering the reception area we found it to be clean. I checked the key number to see if it ended in 14 as stated in some other reviews but thankfully it wasn’t.
First impression of our room was ok, we had a little hall, a bathroom, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a separate living area, with a tele, settee, table and chairs, fridge etc, it was late when we arrived so we couldn’t't really see much of where about we were in the resort or hadn't seen the pool area.
Next morning was the welcome meeting in the pool bar where we got to see abit more of the hotel and could see that there was a reasonable sized pool and the hotel was really big.
The pool bar is really nice and staff are friendly, they have happy hour between 6-7 every night which we took advantage of every day!
Maids seemed to be walking around the hotel on a daily basis but never seemed to really do much in our room, our towels or bed sheets never got changed and the floor was never swept, there is no air conditioning in the rooms but you can rent fans from the reception area, we managed without one for a week as it wasn’t too bad at night.
The Hotel is very basic but all in all we had a good holiday for the money we paid as it was a last minute decision, I wouldn’t have liked to have thought I paid the price shown in the brochure.

The cleaner and me had a few run ins as we weren't the cleanest to put it mildly but other than that the staff were all friendly especially those on the door when we come stumbling in at 4,5 and even 8 in the morning. (Does anyone else think the male receptionist at night looks like Aemon - 'I don't want you back' guy?)
Fantastic view off of the balcony. Only problem I had with the apartment was no duvet just sheets but it's understandable as it was 22 degrees in winter when we went.
Would recommend to anyone, also should if finances are good go back in June

| said: Extremely disappointed with our rooms, we were all given studios on top of each other, no balcony on any, all looked onto a wall. They were next to the lift shafts so very noisy we were told after complaining we should have requested a balcony and there were no other rooms available. Apparently there are 6 in the hotel without balcony's so beware if your room number ends in 14. The brochure clearly shows all the rooms with balcony's you can not see our rooms with them facing a wall, they apparently are always getting complaints, I felt cheated as I love to sit on the balcony it is a big part of my holiday.
The hotel was very noisy some nights but after being fined 50 euros it quietened the young ones down.
The hotel night staff were lovely, the day staff we found not as friendly.
As for the entertainment we could not wait to get away from our cupboards so we spent as much time as possible away from the hotel.

Hotel food. The food at the pool bar was not very nice and because of the lack of cleanliness in the area I would not like to have eaten there too often.
Some of the staff were friendly, but overall most of them were unhelpful.
Entertainment - there wasn't any. Nor is there even a comfortable area to sit in.

If your looking for good food and a funny dj visit the royal oak bar down the street DJ Stevie is such a laugh and always plays your favorite tune.
Pool quite cold even though its supposed to be heated.
Food is nice and v cheap. Theres lots of chineses close by all do buffets for 5 or 6 euros.
Visit aqua park for all the waterslides and you can do a dolphin encounter for 50 euros.
All in all a brill holiday and would def go back to the hotel again.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were adequately cleaned with fresh towels every couple of days, the only thing I dont remember was any clean sheets.
The hotel was ideally placed with many bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to other people who wish to visit Tenerife, in fact my partner and I are planning to go back in November 2006.

| said: The Oro Blanco is a fantastic hotel to stay in if you're looking to be slap bang in the middles of Playas de Las Americas.
My recent holiday to Tenerife was the best holiday I've ever had and this was mainly due to the service, comfort and care I received at the Oro Blanco. There is a happy hour at the bar from 6-7 and again at 9-10, where a pint of lager is 50p.
The lunch meals from the bar are great and cheap. The bar manager, Ian, is one of the nicest guys I've ever met.
The only complaint I would have is the lack of entertainment in the evenings, but there are bars round about the hotel that make up for this. All in all, a great hotel to stay - cheap and cheerful. I'll definitely be back!

| said: We stayed in a studio, which was a good size and had adequate facilities to cook with. However, as PDLA is so cheap to go out, we hardly really used the cooking facilities.
The TV had BBC1, SkySports 2 and a couple of music channels, plus other Spanish channels and NBC. There was a recent-ish movie release on each night (although we didn't watch it). You had to pay for the TV, which was one euro per hour.
We had quite a nice view of the pool and sea from our balcony.
The towels were changed virtually everyday and the sheets changed at least twice in one week. The whole hotel was kept very clean.
The pool was very clean and a good size, with a little 'baby pool' at the side. There are plenty of sunbeds, some of which are away from the pool if you like it a little quieter.
There are also a limited number of parasols and you can hire cushions for the sunbeds.
The pool-side bar/cafe had a basic menu, ie: chips, burgers, salads etc, which were very cheap and of a reasonable standard.
Although service was a little slow as there was only ever one member of staff on serving and preparing.
The evening entertainment in the bar wasn't very good, as it was mainly someone just doing rubbish kareoke and kids just running around screaming while their parents got drunk and didn't bother supervising them.
Although, by midnight the bar closed and it quietened down for the night.
The hotel staff were friendly, and there are a set of rules by which you are supposed to obey (ie no shouting/slamming doors after midnight), and although it was noisy at times at night, it was only very brief and rare.
There is a security guard on duty at night, although I didn't see any trouble at all.
The hotel is in a ok location. It isn't near any real "posh" area's, but it's less than 10 mins walk to the beach if you find the short-cut and close enough to the clubs if that's what you like. Although it's not close enough to hear the noise from them.
There are hundreds of restaurants in walking distance, of varying quality and price.
I would definatley visit this hotel again (this was my 3rd visit), although not in May-Sept due to the presence of too many clubbers. In Winter/Out-of-season, this hotel is absolutley fine. It's cheap and cheerful.

The maids came in and cleaned our rooms everyday, the beds got changed twice in 11 nights, and we had fresh towels quite frequently too! We had a pool view and it was lovely over looking the sea also!
The resort has music on until about 10pm at the pool side bar, they also have a happy hour on with the drinks from 5-6pm and 9pm till 10pm but watch out the measures are strong.
The Oro blanco does welcome outside visitors also!

| said: We were given two rooms for the six of us. One over looking the pool and the other looking over the front area of the complex.
On arrival at Oro Blanco, we checked in and were told we had to wait around an hour for the maid to finish cleaning the room. After an hour had passed we went up to our room to find it cleanish. As we were putting our clothes away a staff member came in to our room and started to paint our balcony, which I think is a put off.
The self catering facilities are basic but you only are cooking your lunch there anyway.
The hotel cleanliness is good.
The pool area was clean (it must have got painted every night, because the next morning when you sat at the edge of the pool your shorts would have paint on them.)
The reception area is also very clean.
The hotel food is ok, but I would recommend 'Yester Years' which is just a 5 min walk away from the aparts.
The hotel location is perfect, it's just a 10 min walk into Veronica's strip and you have bars and restaurants close by as well.
The hotel staff are ok as well. There are a couple of Spanish receptionist's which are very ignorant. Louise is an English receptionist, she is very nice and also very helpful. The maids don't speak a word of English, but are very pleasant.
The entertainment in the hotel is very scarce. I think there was a karaoke night on Mondays and Thursdays but I never heard any music. The bar only stays open until 12 o' clock but the bar staff are very friendly.
Overall I think I would visit these apartments again, but only if they were fitted with air conditioning.

| said: On arriving in the hotel I thought it was quite good, at least looked a lot better than the picture in the brochure. Our room was ready straight away and was clean (ish).
The maids would come in every day to clean but if you were in the room at the time they would run off without cleaning - probally premsuming you didnt want your room cleaned.
The sheets were changed once a week and towels twice, but if you asked the maids nicely they would often sneak you a couple of extra changes.
There is no air conditioning anywhere in the hotel and we were forced to pay 40 euros to hire a fan for the fortnight, which meant that in one of our rooms there was no fan so we had to keep the balcony door open at all times - not a good idea in the night as the noise kept us awake all hours.
I suppose if I was with my friends I wouldnt have minded the resort but being with my family it wasnt a good match.
During the days we spent most of our time on the sun loungers a little way up from the pool - as all the loungers directly around the pool had been taken by large groups of 18-30s. The pool was lovely for cooling us down in the 40 degree weather although a little small for the amount of people in the hotel.
On the last day of our holiday there was a notice in the lift stating that the pool would have to be emptied and thoroughly cleaned due to many guests not obeying the pool rules - in other words doing disgusting things in the pool!! so the use of the pool was aborted for a couple of days.
The location of the hotel wasn't all that good as we were very close to some noisy bars, and even if we tried to have a quiet night in we were disturbed by other noisy holidaymakers from our own resort shouting and smashing bottles beside the pool.
The staff are mostly spanish, although there was one English lady working at reception. They were as helpful as you could expect from someone who doesnt speak the same language as you.
The security guard would often be called to deal with some trouble makers down at the bar but was nowhere to be seen -although were could see him standing on the rooftop watching but too afriad to act.
Over all our holiday was a bit of a disaster and I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families.

| said: I have stayed at this hotel 2003 and can not believe how much it has changed, on previous visit it was excellent.
We arrived in the afternoon checked and went to room and the floor was swimming in water in all rooms, looked like maid had just thrown a bucket of water on all floors and not clean water. When it dried the floor was very gritty
In one bedroom a leg on one bed was broken, and vanity unit was hanging off wall, and in toilet the toilet seat was just placed there, but yet the maid had sealed it as clean and checked!!! I had to sweep the whole apartment and wash all pots and cutlery as they were filthy. It took 2 days for a replacement toaster to be brought to our room.
After this we had a great holiday, the apartments have a great location for beach shops and restaurants.
Some people complained of the noise but as we were not over looking the pool we did not get disturbed.

The staff and reps were lovely, the location excellent.
Only complaint was the tavern bar next door owner's wife was the most ignorant women I have ever met would never go back there.
Would go back to Oro Blanco all the other bars and restaurants where great. Would recommend Oro Blanco it was keep really clean the staff worked really hard to make your stay a good one.

Not much entertainment in the complex but plenty within walking distance.

Staff were all ok especially on reception.
Pool was kept clean and areas around the hotel ok. 301 over the pool with seaview.
Entertaiment only couple of times a week, but plenty going on in walking distance so led to a peaceful holiday.

Oro Blanco is a very noisey complex wouldn't recommend for kids.
Staff were ok. Didn't see much of the rep.
Not very good for entertainment but is very handy for the bars nearby. We always went to the Bus-Stop bar, very friendly staff and very cheap brooze. Also, try having a meal at the Snappy Snappy bisto very cheap there, good food, friendly staff and the Sunday diiners are great and worth the money.
My overall holiday was a good one already booking to go back in September 2005 but not the Oro Blanco .

| said: My partner and I arrived mid afternoon on the 24th September. When we checked in they took our passport's to register us with the Spanish government we could have picked up our passports 24hrs after but we thought it was safer to leave them with the receptionist after the reports I read on this website!
Our rooms were ready straight away we stayed in a 2 bed apartment. Everything was clean and tidy the maids came everyday to clean and tidy rooms did good job. The only thing was they didn't change the sheets at all the week we stayed which on the weather conditions they needed to be changed, the weather was fantastic 30c or higher everyday!
We rented out a safe which was €22.40 which you received €10 back when checking out handy to keep tickets and money in.
The location was great 10 min walk to Playa las Americas and 15 min walk to Los Christino's. The market on a Sunday is in Los Christino's is very cheap and sells loads, taxi only €3 found some nice eating out places a place called YesterYears just down the road from appartment, did very good breakfast's for good price! Also Snappys for breakfast or dinner really good prices and the Aberdeen Steak House.
The holiday was great would definately recommend to couples and families!!!
Just watch out for pick pocket's in the town at night!
Would stay in this apartment again had a great time!

Any noise was dealt with by security and being so close to the main strip wasn’t a problem, it was close but not enough to disturb us. Our 9th month old baby wasn’t disturbed at all, I wouldn’t recommend the tavern next door, found the staff only interested in the single fellas there, not the families.
Apt were clean enough, but towels were only changed twice a week, bedding once a week. I will definitely visit here again, not next year, like to try some where different, but definitely within the next few years

On arrival we were greeted by the receptionist whos english was fantastic, and our room aloocated witin minutes.
The facilities for cooking were basic but enough for what we wanted.
The hotel is right in the centre of Las Americas, witin 5 minutes of resturants and bars.
The staff were excellent and very helpfull, the maid came 4 times per week and was very friendly.
The hotel receptionists were excellent speaking English and always said hello and asked if we needed anything.
The rep at the hotel , bless her! seemed overworked, but never lacked energy, she helped us a lot with ideas for things to do,and she was always there when she was meant to be and we went on some excellent excursions.

However the pool was dirty and too small for the amount of people.
The pool bar well it was understaffed - food was okish, but did see a couple of dead cockroaches near the grill which put me right off.
Wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone with families, there was a lot of younger people eg 18-30 and at time, and while it didn't bother me the language and actions were a bit erm adult!

| said: I decided to have a 'late' break and opted, reluctantly to accept 'allocation of accommodation on arrival'. BIG MISTAKE!! On booking, last minute, I paid for '3 star' accommodation. On arrival I viewed the accommadation and location as '2 star'. It was hot - no air-conditioning - not even a ceiling fan. It was nececessary to haqve a window open at night to get some air, but this was not a good option because other 'guests' made so much noise. They were shouting all night. Constant. The room suffered from constant traffic noise. It was beside a main road, which was busy 24 hours a day. On this notice board, some have said the accommodation enjoyed a "good location". The location was probably good for young people, since it was near to noisy bars, but it was not in the best part of town. The pool was too small for the number of people staying. When returning to the hotel in the evening you had to run the gauntlet of passing 'the ladies of the night'. All in all, not value for money, and I would advise anyone who goes to take 'earplugs' and a portable fan. I will not be returning.

Hotel staff and reps-pathetic! Very poor service, rude, unapproachable, and arrogant. watch out for security on a night following you back to your rooms!!!! A hint, do not breathe loudly and definitley do NOT talk let alone whisper. Abusive and again, very rude.
However, did enjoy the holiday as such, at the end of the day it's what you make it.
NB- Reps????? What reps?!!!

the location of the hotel was spot-on, 10 mins walk from the busy area
hardleys any bugs at all, none in the room at the hotel which was the main thing
the pool area was fine, very cold water but it's what you need when the weather's so hot
our apartment itself was excellent, with only 4 of us going we were expecting a small place, but we had a 3 bedroomed appartment, with 6 beds, 2 bathrooms and 3 balconies! all of which were cleaned well by the maids,
we got stuck in the lift one day but managed to get out before the fella from the lift company came out
couldn't reccomend the place highly enough, suitable for families or the younger ones , can't wait to go back

| said: I would give it a big fat zero if it allowed me too.
Went with my girlfriend and another couple. Our room was not as stated, it had 2 single beds instead of a double. And had a window that a prison cell would of had a better view. The maids only came and cleaned (in the loosest possible sense) about every third day. So we were using wet towels. Half way through the holiday someone, with a key, got into our room and stole our mobile phones (was it the maids? we don't know because our room hadn't been cleaned and there was no fresh towels, again). The only other people with keys to the rooms are hotel staff! When we tried to complain, the manageress pretended she did not understand English, didn't want to know and got a holiday rep to point out that we should have used a hotel safe (who would have keys for that too, I wonder!?) the sign for that went up the second we complained, reminding all guests that they should use the safe. You would like to think that the staff wouldn't steal.......maybe I am just too trusting or naive. When we were waiting on the manager a maintenance guy that we had seen working around the apartments came over and asked us in pigeon English if we had had our mobiles stolen and then offered us a cigarette and walked off. I was too livid to realise that he was a possible suspect. Especially since I had seen them walking around the pool area during the day, now I obviously realise that they were scoping out the stupid tourists with their mobiles on show!! Lesson well learnt. We then spent 5 hours in the police station, in a queue waiting to get a police report, for the police to have us finger mug shots of complete strangers who they wanted behind bars.
Once we got back to Blighty we discovered our insurance did not cover the phones after all. ARGhhhhhhhhh.

When we were out at night just next door in the Tavern bar which i must say did a great breakfast!! and a nice pint we observed on a few occasions the ladies of the night plying their trade across the road from the resort.
I would not visit this resort again,it reminded me of Fawlty Towers!!!!.

No complaints. Our room was a twin instead of a double when we arived but it didn't matter. The chambermaid was lovely.
No complaints about noise or bugs as I read in other
reviews, would definitely recommend it to everyone, good for groups, couples or families. Close to everywhere.
The bar downstairs wasn't up to much but the pool area was grand. The jacuzzi was great. The only thing is the tv was coin operated, which I thought was a bit cheap.

The apartments were very clean, never saw one creepy crawlie, the pool was very clean and there is a pool side bar which serves alcohol from about 10 in the morning (much to the convenience and pleasure of me and my boyfriend).
The staff were lovley and our rooms were left very tidy. Not sure of the entertainment as me and my boyfriend were out every night, think there is karoke or something. It is only a short walk to the beach and the pubs n clubs, alot of nice restaurants nearby. Definatly recommend these apartments to couples and groups!
Can't wait to go back!

most of the barstaff were friendly and helpful apart from one spanish girl who did her best to ignore her customers especially when it was the happy hour.

| said: We have been twice to this Hotel and are going back in October this year. The reception (24hr)staff are friendly and speak excellent English, (as I always say; it helps if you are polite and at least attempt some Spanish). We have stayed in an apartment and a studio. The studio had a lovely view of the sea. It deserves a better rating that a 2-star (I have stayed at worse places with more stars!)
It could get a little noisy at times, but not too bad (although we didn't go at the height of summer). The weather was always fantastic.
The hotel is in a great location. Far enough away from the noisy bars, but close enough to walk.
I can't review the hotels entertainment as we didn't go as there is so much to do in Tenerife.
The restaurants locally do fantastic food and you can get any cuisine you want, at such low prices.
Ok, so if you want sophistication and culture, this is not the place to go. But it's cheap and fantastic if you just want to get away from Britain during the cold months for some great weather and have a jolly good time eating and drinking.

| said: one of the above posts sums this up .4 young guys had a great time. We, a 54 and 51 year couple didn't.
Mostly young people, lots of drunken behaviour and swearing etc --- and the boys were just as bad!
Too near "red light"area with dubious ladies hanging around.
rooms very good size for us, beds for 6 people, however most furniture broken or damaged. not particularly clean.
Pool bar more like a railway station cafe, dirty with no atmosphere and video machines at full volume.
Heard reports of, but never saw, rats in area.
We went for a cheap holiday----- that is what we got.
Convenient for getting into Los Cristianos.
If you want a little bit of style give this a miss.
