| said: We arrived at Mar Ola and was pleasantly surprised at the room,very clean and spacious, although 2 single beds, but just push them together. Our balcony was on the road, but it was quiet and beautiful view of mount Teidi. James the rep was fab, knew his stuff, always there when you need him. Entertainment was ok, karaoke was best. Staff great, James, Barry, Janet, Ginger Elvis with his Hits of the 50`s!(sorry Jase)! The food was great for us as we arent fussy eaters, and the all inclusive drinks, great range and their cocktails are second to none! We will definitely be returning.

| said: When me and my boyfriend arrived at mor ola 2 the staff was really helpful and polite, our room was very big abd clean and the balcony was beautiful. the pool is very spacious and cleaned every night. we wasn't very far from the beach or restaurants nice walking distance. the water park (aqua land) was worth every penny and watching the dolphin show was even more brilliant. overall the hotel was really good and will definately be going back again x x

| said: I went to this holiday in Aug 07 with my two children abs and dyl. We had a fab holiday. It was cleaned to an ok standad. Food had good variety and you could eat at the pool bar to.
Location was good for beaches, local shops and 10-15mins from centre of Las Americas. Hotel staff were fantastic especially James, ste.
Given Entertainment 4 rating as you can not miss James "x factor" attempt on karoke he he!! Also Killer pool with Neil and Baz.
I would visit the hotel again don't know when but will. Thank you to
you all for a fab holiday.

| said: before liveing to go on hoilday i was bit worried about the reviews we read on this hotel. when we arrived we were pleased to see that the rooms were basic but quite large and very clean( thats the main thing) the hotel location was a liitle bit out from the nightlife taxis cost all diffrent prices we paid between 5 and 7 euros for the same jorney. the food could of been a little better and more choice but the snack by the pool made up for this. entertainment at night was not good the hotel needs to spend more on this part and the room were the entertainment was held it was very hot and could do with aircon like the rooms could do with as it gets very very hot at night times but the day time activities run by baz and neil kept everyone busy with killerpool, killer darts ,vollyball, ect these two give %110 but overall a good hoilday and we would return again. thanx from john1 john2 gareth jenna nat clair tracy marg thanx again

| said: When we first arrived at the hotel there was a lot of building work going on as the hotel had just opened for the season, however after complaining to Dan the My Travel rep he took numerous steps to sort the problem and have the work stopped.
The rooms were clean although the bedding was only changed once a week which is not good enough. The hotel staff, Neil Barry, Steve Nat, James, Tommy, and all the others made our stay and our holiday worth every penny.
What a great team thay deserve a pay rise! well done to you all. Entertainment with Neil and Barry was really good but the singer knocks you to sleep!
We enjoyed our holiday so much we are returning this September with a group of five people we met whilst staying there.

| said: We were pleasently surprised when we arrived at the hotel, having read some reviews before we left. The accommodation was basic but clean, we had a room overlooking the pool, which was nice and clean,it was washed down every morning. Most rooms had the same view as it was set out in a 'u'shape.
We went all inclusive which had only just started a few weeks before so they were still getting used to the english palate!! The food was good quality but served in some odd combinations lasagne and brussels!! I am sure they will sort it out as we found that as the week went on it got better after some complaints. The snack bar served food up until 10pm so you wont go hungry. The drinks were excellent help your self to lager and wine and fizzy drinks. Most local spirits served until 11pm.
The entertainment not very good just bingo and kareoke and a singer. Someone on our floor had a watch taken so beware and hire the safe in your room.

| said: We had 2 rooms both with pool views. The cleaners were very good they even washed up. Food not to bad hotel staff were very helpful. With self catering location ideal as supermarket just down road and 5 mins walk you have a plenty of places to eat. With good entertaiment on every night.

| said: We visited Mar Ola in September 2006. Overall we had a great holiday. Mar ola is in a great place if you are a family but I wouldn't reccomend it to young people its too out the way! Be warned! Taxis are cheap but if you can't be bothered with that stay somewhere else! There were alot of robberies too! So you have been warned!

| said: We found the Mar Ola 2 apartments to be an ideal base for our 2 week holiday, an easy walk into Playa La Vista, Playa De Las Americas and Los Cristianos.
The beach was about 5-10 mins walk away and the pool area was excellent.
Our only real complaint was that the pool wasn't very deep so you couldn't dive in but it would be great for kids.
We'd agree its a fair walk to the Veronicas area of town but there are loads of bars and restaurants between the apartments and Veronicas so its not like its a drag as you can have a few drinks on the way. There's a bus stop right outside the apartments which goes to Veronicas if you can't be bothered to walk and taxis fares were reasonable.

| said: We found the Mar Ola 2 hotel to be very dirty. There was a cockroach infestation in our room, which never got sorted out. The staff were very unhelpful, even after the maid had even complained about this. We found this very disturbing and would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Food was good.
It is a five minute walk from the beach.
Plenty of restaurants near hotel.

| said: As I travelled on my own these apartments were great.
The bar staff were so friendly and always made me feel welcome.
I had a studio apartment on the 2nd floor above the bar. It could be noisy sometimes but didn't bother me as the noise from the road outside was worse. Was woke up at 4 one morning by the noise of road sweeper. Did get used to it by the time I left.
Apartments were clean but I think the maid just hung my dirty towels back up and replace 1 bath towel.
The bar food and drink was good price.
I would go back to these apartments again.

| said: The hotel itself was great, apart from there was no entertainment apart from the karaoke on sundays and wednesdays, which i did not go to.
The hotel was close to the beach and restaurants, but was abit away from most of the entertainment near veronicas, although it was near enough to walk to.
The pool in the hotel was fine on the last week, but on the first week of being there the water was cloudy and we were unable to see below our waists.
The hotel staff were very friendly, only we needed a plug for our sink and never recieved one.
The only reason i would not return is due to the behaviour of local residents.

| said: The Mar-Ola II apartments were in a terrible location as it was miles away from the main strip of Playa de Las Americas such as the night clubs and main Veronicas area.
Even though it states that it is located in the Americas area I would actually say it was nearer to Los Cristianos.
The apartment in terms of cleanliness was ok but still not as clean as would haved liked it as the floors and bathroom where in desprite need of a clean.
The staff at the Mar-Ola II apartments were friendly so no fault there. The pool area of the apartment was terrible as it was rarely tidied and cleaned out of the two weeks I should have stayed I only stayed one due to the uncomfortable acommodation.

| said: I am 15 years old and went to Teneriefe with my family and we were expecting the hotel to be horrible but I was very nice and for a 15 and 7 year old the placement of the hotel was very good. The entertainment was briliant and the whole felling was lovely.

| said: We stayed in the Marola apartments in june 04. They were clean and comfortable. The apartments appeared to have benefited from a recent refurbishment. The location was ideal for us as we did not want nightlife however if we had wanted to we would have needed a taxi.
The staff were all friendly but scarce on the ground.
the surrounding area had a few restaurants and shops and up market shops a short stroll away. Would we go back. Yes definitely.
