On the first Night we arrived there, we were given a apartment that we didn't wish to stay in due to being on the 5th floor. A Man Altered the arrangement to a second floor with sea and pool view. 202E apartment was good enough for us.
The Cleaners came with clean sheets & Towels oh & Toilet rolls, 5 times during our stay of 7 day's.
The pool & pool area was cleaned each day except for Sunday(Day off.) Lots of Lilo's to go around however at 9am when unchained a few people started to go down to get there lilo's and places sorted out for the day.
Toaster $10Euro's wk - Kettle $20Euro's wk with a deposit of $5euro's Each. Tv (if needed)$5Euros 24hours.
Bed's well abit hard,try to take soft pillows cause they're like sleeping on rocks.
Entertainment OK, Birdshow & snakeshow. Puppets & harliquins. kids disco, Bingo & quize's and karaoke.Drinks cocktails $4-$4.90euros (coco loco) mmm
love em.
Hotel location central to all things you need to go to or do. Don't go to kiosk outside apartment if going to day trips. Go out of apartment turn to your Left keep going for about 5 mins walk and you will get cheap day out trips. Aquapark $58Euros 3 adults 1 child free (upto 12years old)
we would visit here again, enjoyed are stay, people friendly. Enjoy & make the most of it Fantastic!

| said: Stayed in Laguna Park 1. Rooms were clean and towels and bedding chaanged daily. We did not eat at the hotel nor did we bother with the hotel entertainment.the poolwas great and was cleaned daily.
The only downside to a good holiday was that we were robbed of a large amount of money on our first night of arrival[we arrived at 2am]. Four other roooms were also burgled on that night.
I would advise any visitors to be vigilant and book a safe on arrival and not wait until the following morning.

Stayed from 28th March – 10th April

Reception Staff very nice.
Complex and apartments all very clean but rooms very small for four people.
4 plates, cups, saucers, knives, forks and spoons per apartment. Very few cooking equipment
Pool area very clean, food and drinks around pool very reasonable and edible. Very disappointing for kids as no inflatables are allowed in the pool at any time – apparently a new Canary Island Government rule!
Plenty of sun beds, which are locked every night and unlocked at 9 am. No mad rush whilst we were there and all very civilized - but it was early season!
Handy launderette on the complex, only €5 a wash.
Hire charges very high - safe (€25 per week), toaster (€15 p/w), kettle (€15 p/w), TV (can’t remember but about €30 p/w – no payment then you cannot use it all, even for local channels).
Maid cleaning very irregular and poor. Never actually mopped the floor, just swept up. On occasions we had to borrow a broom to sweep the floor ourselves. Sheet changing / cleaning both infrequent, about twice a week.
We stayed on block D304. Had noisy motorway behind. Also found a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom, which we could see daylight through. We had to block it up with blue tack - middle of the holiday, didn’t want to change rooms – although concerned somebody may have been spying on us from the room above.
The bar area at night is fine if you smoke. However, for those of us who do not and have kids it is a no go. There are shows on, which others said were not particularly good. However, there was no air con, no windows and it was so smoky, even just walking through to get to our apartment we still stunk of smoke.
Best place to eat was a fish and chip shop call ‘Lazy cod’ on walk down to the beach. The fish was absolutely fantastic. Can’t remember the promenade it is along but it is set back slightly from the ‘road’ and opposite an Indian. Highly recommended.
The area of Costa Adeje was so clean and pleasant. The beaches were clean. Just avoid all the annoying timeshare and boat trip touts along the beach front who continually annoy you every day.
While we were there a ground floor room was broken into in the night, while they were all in bed including the children, they went into their room.
We would not return.

| said: From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome...the apartments were clean with great maid service.. pool area nice..water cold but it is only April. Had party of 7 ranging from 20's to 80's, apartments on ground floor next to each other as requested. Reception staff welcoming, especially Juan and very helpful as I found out when I locked my keys in my suitcase, someone was with me within 5 minutes. Did not have time to try the restraunt or entertainment as we were on holiday to sing in different places but others said how good entertainment was.. lots of room round the pool as it is April...would stay there again.

Hotel was very clean and good location close the shops, restaurants and about 5mins walk to the beach and 10mins walk to the water park.
We stayed half board and ate at the hotel 6 out of the 7 nights. Every night there was a good choice of food for both the adults and children and the restaurant never busy.
Pool nice but very cold! Plenty of sunbeds and space around the pool.
Entertainment better than expected, nice variety singers, snake show, etc the 3 dancers were very good!
Over all had lovely week break at Laguna 1 and would visit again.

| said: Just returned from a stay at the Laguna Park 1 and I was very impressed.
Hotel was spotless and staff were lovely.
Pool is really big, but rather chilly, you soon get used to it though.
Great location with plenty of places to eat (nice sandwich shop a couple of doors up to the right) and a nice selection of bars.
I would say this was good family accommodation, kids made loads of friends and didn't want to come home. Everyone was really friendly and soon got to know each other.
This was my first trip to Tenerife and I will definitely be returning and staying at the Laguna Park 1.

| said: my partner and i arrived to laguna park 1 on 26th february and found the apartments really lovely and spotlessly clean. the staff were very nice and friendly, the room was cleaned most days. the location of the apartments was very good and only a short taxi ride to the "busier end". chaplins restaurant is just out of the main doors at laguna 1 to the left and they serve lovely steaks. francis' restaurant serves lovely breakfasts...really nice bacon. the harbour at la pinta is beautiful but the scratch card touts drive you mad... they almost do your head in, you dont get left alone for 5 minutes. loro parque is an excellent day out and what ever you do, dont miss going on the full day island tour booked at the little kiosk outside of laguna park 1. the scenery and views are absolutely amazing. oposite laguna park 1 is the rumpot, there are some good tribute acts on there, chubby brown for example, very funny guy and not to be missed. all in all we had a brilliant time and would not think twice about going back to stay there. we didnt try the restaurant in laguna 1 so we cant really comment. the bar is lovely and very clean and the drinks are reasonably priced. all in all our holiday was fantastic. up near the hotel columbus there is a bar called the cheiftain, its an irish bar and has a great atmosphere, the singer there is very good, would recommend it 100%

| said: It was my 4th time coming to tenerife but the first time stopping in laguna park 1 and i loved everything about the place.
The staff where really great and the rooms where fantastic, very clean.
We were self catering so only ate once in but food was great.
The pool was brillant really big and also very clean they also have a bar which is very good as it gets really hot, plenty on sun longes.
I have not got one bad thing to say about this hotel and will be coming back next year.
Cant wait!!!

Approx 20 minute walk from Veronicas strip (which is a good thing) The room we were in was clean and appeared to be serviced every other day. A good base for a good holiday close to Playa La Pinta Beach. Temple Bar very good for UK TV Would definitely go back.

| said: We arrived in tenerife on 22nd august 2007, we were staying for 2weeks. I have to say it was one of the nicest places ive ever stayed abroad. It is situated not that far from the beach but the apartment is on a main strip of bars and restaurants which were all fab. The pool was quite big and there where always enough sun loungers for everyone, no matter what time you went to the pool. Overall the apartment was brilliant.

| said: Arrived on 10/08/07 first time we have been to Tenerife and had a great time. All staff were very friendly, rooms were very clean,bright and spacious pool was great and had no problem getting a sunbed.Lee was the only entertainer but did a great job entertaining the kids in the day and put on shows on the night.Didn`t eat in the hotel but food did looked very nice. We ate at Francis restaurant and food was fantasic,all the staff were great and couldnt do enough for you prices were very reasonable.For some good nights out go to Legends they have entertainers on every night of the week,Billy Connely was brill and Deano the dj was great.Also went to Garfields which does very nice snacks in the day and has some good entertainment on a night.I would definatetly stay at Laguna Park 1 again .

| said: This was the second time we have stayed at these apartments. We requested the apartment we had last year by email and got it. The apartment was clean and adequately furnished. The kitchen had a two ring cooker with oven grill and a fridge with a cool box. Plenty of plates, cutlery etc should you want to eat in.
We didn’t use the restaurant but had breakfast on our last day. The charge was 5 euro for adults and 2.50 for children. This included cereal, bread, yoghurt, bacon, sausages, fried eggs, toast, tea and coffee and probably other stuff I cant remember (you take as much as you want). This was very good value, pity we didn’t use it more.
The first week was very quiet in both hotel and resort so the pool was very accessible. It was cleaned every morning and the pool area was cleaned the night before. The pool isn’t heated but it was so warm it was nice to cool off in it. We didn’t use the pool bar or bistro so can’t comment on it.
The bar has some work going on in it but this didn’t cause any inconvenience as they seem to have stopped work for the summer and have screened the area off. The bar itself was pleasant enough for a few drinks but as it was so few people staying at the apartments there was mostly only a few people there. A pint of local beer (Estrella Damm) cost 2.10 euro not sure about spirits. There was little entertainment because of few numbers but the entertainment guy did his best in bad circumstances, ie no one to entertain. I kinda felt sory for him.
All the staff we encountered were always very friendly and helpful. Any problems or requests were dealt with promptly and professionally.
Our apartment was at the front so we didn't hear the traffic others have mentioned but you did get a bit of noise at night although this didn't bother us at all.
We had a great time at Laguna Park 1 and we are going back next year.

| said: We loved it. The staff was great and had a smile for you what ever time of the day or night you came in at.
The pool was clean and the bar staff was fun.
The room was always clean big ed was great something for everyone young and old this is our three times there and we are planing on go in Sep with all five kids.
The rep was helpful to or if you just wanted to talk did try the food at bar area was ok but the food at the restaurant was not that great so eat out it was much more for our money the only thing was Ed was away the first week we where there a man call Dave was there he was rubbish only we knew Ed we would have hated this part of the hoilday.

| said: Stayed for a week at these apertments. They were a good size, clean and in a good area where it was easy to walk out to the many pubs and resturants in the area, where you can eat as cheap or as deer as you like.
Ed the rep kept the kids happy with many games of pool, darts and vollyball. There is a nice pool area which is relaxing and not too big and noisy. We would certainly return for a week in the Spring again.

The complex was lovely the pool area was really nice but we could not spend much time there due to the swimming pool being freezing cold.
O'Reilley's Irish bar over the road is really fantastic the live band the kicks are on every night and you can have a good laugh and a dance the atmosphere gets everyone in the holiday spirit.
There is a Chinese restaurant next door to St Eugenes and the food is excellent.
I will definitely go back.

Apartments are clean as is the reception area and pool. Hotel currently going through refurbishment a block at a time. but did not interrupt holiday in any way.
Reception staff very friendly always willing to chat, even took us to see one of the refurbished room.
would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxed family holiday

| said: Very clean through out the two weeks, maids every day linen changed every two days.
Around the pool is cleaned every morning & night (us Brits are really messy). Reception area spotless, has under gone refurb since we last visited two years ago incorperating a lift which is very hand with your suitcases.
Food was loverly only tried the take-out buffet breakfast for only 5 euros "lovely"
The location is sited near a large shopping centre, restruants, bars etc (not too loud at night)
ALL the staff at the centre are great very helpfull right down to the night security
We have stopped before in the bar/entertainment area but it gets really hot in there at night (there is air-con but they don't use it , prob to make ya buy more drinks !!!!)
We have been 4 times to Laguna and will go again but Steve hates the length of flight.

| said: I stayed at Laguna 1 with my sister. The room was very clean, the towels, toilet paper etc changed and replaced every day for the whole week.
We didn't eat at the hotel only because we like to get out and see what's on offer.
The staff were great and when we reported an electrical fault they sent somebody to the room within 5 minutes.
The location of the hotel is a little poor but in less than five minutes you are at Puerto Colon, which has lovely bars and restaurants.

| said: We have just got back from Tenerife and when we arrived at the airport, at 7.30pm, we were greeted by the Rep who did not want to be there she was not in the mood for it we all get those days. We eventually found our transfer bus, rep did not have a welcome pack and we, were told, that she would get one to us, we were there half hour before we started out. Suppose blame the people lagging behind thinking everybody got to wait for them, you know the type always the ones to get on the plane at the last call.
We got, to the Laguna park about 9.30pm so we thought check in find our room and go for a chill out drink the reception was very welcoming gave our passport hire a safe and we were told lift over there we finally found our room has it was dark and you know these apartments they got these lights that only stay on for 60 seconds quite funny actually.
When we saw our room it was clean, nice size everything you would need if were to cook even a oven, the safe did not work so seeing it was getting late we decided to wait till morning.
I phoned the reception about the safe and they were there in within half hour fixing it the battery in it had gone from there we had no problems the entertainment in the hotel was great for all ages.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.
The rooms were clean and the cleaners came everyday, them also being friendly.
The location was great; it was a cab ride away from the main nightlife, with a few bars and restaurants in the local area (but pleantly to choose from) making it quieter.
We didnt really make much use of the hotel entertainment, but it sounded and looked fantastic; great for children.
We would definately stay here again, without hesitation, and advise other people to stay here too!
Overall, the hotel had a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with no hostility from staff and other people staying in the hotel.

| said: We stayed in Laguna Park 1 this summer. We were upgraded to this hotel and were really pleased. We found the hotel staff to be polite and considerate at all times.
The bar staffs both poolside and in the downstairs bar were amazing. Over the two weeks they became good friends. Luca was especially friendly and seemed really happy in his job!
The apartment was fine. Top tip for cockroaches is to leave lights on when out and line your door with a wet towel, we never had any little visitors once we had cracked this!
We were s/catering but also ate in the restaurant. The food was lovely and we really 'filled our boots'.
The location was great. You are away from boisterous nightlife, but within walking distance of some great bars.
A twenty min walk takes you to aqua land. A great day out for all ages. Our daughter experienced a training session with dolphins.
We have recommended Laguna Park 1 to lots of people and would certainly return.

| said: We were on the fifth floor as we had asked to be high. Room was clean and balcony safe. Very pleased with room. Had a lovely view of pool and could see out to the ocean and port colon.
Around the pool was very slippy once it was wet my daughter (7) slipped a few times and cut her toe.
The bar staff were very soar faced. Service was awful from them.
Men at reception were lovely and friendly.
Not much entertainment really in the day time for children aged 6 and 7. Really rubbish disco in the evening that last 30 minutes and played same songs every night that we went.
At night time it was very noisy trying to get to sleep. 4 lane motorway behind our apartment and bar across the road that played loud music time 2.30 in the morning. The noise would die off for a few hours then you would hear the cars again about 5 people going to work.
Towels were changed every other day and so were the bed.
The hotel gives you a rule sheet when you go in its says no reserving sun beds no inflatables (lilo rings etc) so we thought great. Looked over our balcony on first morning and people were waiting at 8am for the staff to unlock the beds that didn't get unlocked time 9am. by 9.10 all the beds had been reserved. A couple we met complained and the staff said move the towels if they have a problem sent them to reception. So nothing was done about it. By our third day pool was full of lilos and rings and I must say if you wanted a bed by the pool you had to reserve your beds. Even if it means breaking the rules.
Wouldn’t stay here again but overall it was ok.

| said: Just come bach from a two week stay in this hotel would definately recommend, hotel is in a great location everything you needed was just outside hotel,if you wanted more you only had a five minute walk to the many bars, shops and restaurants and also the beach.Hotel was clean, towels changed everyday and beds every other day, maids were lovely.
Hotel staff are very friendly and went out of their way to help you apart from the life guard who didnt have a sense of humour the bar staff Adrienne, Juan Jose and Lucas I have to mention were absolutely brilliant so was Javier who worked the poolside bar through the day The pool is spacious but very very salty.

When we first arrived the hotel looked brilliant but that soon changed..!
As 4 young girls and first time away without parents we thought that if we had any problems the hotel staff would be helpful.
The manager apparently of the hotel was very disrespectful considering we were young girls. Firstly we got charged on our second night there 100 euros as our high heels were too noisy (so ladies take them off and prepare to stand on cockroaches on your way back to your apartment)!
We weren't going to pay this as we found it to be very unfair, but in the end we had to as we never had anywhere else to go as they were going to kick us out and they didn’t care where we would end up unless we gave them money.
Then on that night a very large group below us got very drunk and broke their patio doors, the security guard came straight up to our room and checked our doors (this was very early in the morning and we were woken up) when they realised it wasn’t us he barged out without giving us an apology.
The pool man was very ignorant and would come up anytime he wanted, press our bell and when we opened the door he spoke nastily in Spanish pushed one of us onto the table and one of us on our bed and started using our telephone which he broke.
After this the manager became very uncomfortable to be around. When we handed our key to reception on our way out (the key is tiny but has a huge fishing weight hanging from it which is very heavy to carry) he would look down our tops, if you said anything to him he would say 'its free I can look, you don’t like it you out', so what else could we say or do.
Our rep John tried to help us out as much as possible and was good overall but still we think more could've been done about the hotel staff.
Eddie the entertainer was very funny and is great with the kids.
The bar staff were polite and helpful too.
Would never go back to this hotel not even for a million pounds that’s how bad the staff were. The hotel itself though is quite clean and in a good spot and if you don't want to stay there, there is a good bar called Garfield’s and I would really recommend it to anyone of all ages.

Especially if travelling in a big group. Good location if you do not want to be next to Veronicas.
However, only about 20 minute walk from the hotel to get to Veronicas. But only costs approx 5 euros in a taxi.
Hotel was clean and maids did not wake you. We only tried the pool bar food, which was great for snacks. we didnt try the restuarant however this did look nice inside.
the staff were very friendly especially the poor security guard that was at reception at all hours in the morning that kindly gave your key.
There was always entertainment on in the hotel. However never seen any of this.
I would visit this hotel again. If coming back with a mixed group especially if travelling in a big group.
Not too far from the strip and if you wanted to chill there is pubs around the hotel.

The apts were basic but absolutely fine, we requested a high floor at the back and got one BUT I didnt realise there was a 4 lane motor way at the back of the apts. I found the traffic noise at night terrible and we moved to another hotel after 2 nights. Apart from that the place was fine, the pool area very nice although terribly slipply with a wee boy who forgets not to run. The staff were excellent, the life guard was over with ice within minutes of my son falling and banging his head.
The area its in is a bit grotty. We went down to Adaje beach area - it was a lot nicer and only a 5 minute walk.
All in all its a grand place if you are a heavy sleeper but if you're like me and need peace and quiet then its not the place for you!

| said: A really nice complex in a great location, all areas were spotless & our room had recently been refurbished. Be up for 8.45 though for the battle of the sun beds as they were all gone in 10 minutes.
Staff seemed friendly & snacks at the pool bar were good, but we tried the buffet breakfast & were not impressed as most of the food was only lukewarm! Didn't stay for the night time entertainment as there wasn't much room in the show bar which is in the basement, but the acts advertised are class! most appearing at places like Toucan & Amandas.
There are organised games during the day to keep the kids happy i.e. killer darts/pool & water polo ect.
All my family their give this place the seal of approval & we'll definitely be there next year!

| said: Stayed here for a week end of March, weather fabulous. Hotel is kept very clean, excellent maid service. We were self catering, but made our way one morning to the restaurant for breakfast, but did not go back for a second visit!
Playa de Las Americas is about 10 minutes walk away, and Puerto Colon about 5 minutes, where you will find a good variety of restaurants. A visit to Eugiene's bar/restaurant is a must, excellent acts every night. The swimming pool was rather cold, but fine once you plucked up the courage to get in!
There is some maintenance work being done at Laguna Park one, but as previous reports mentioned it is carried out very much behind the scenes.
Spoke to someone on the way home who had stayed at Laguna Park 2, they had a terrible time there and will never return there, their room was broken into on the third night, and a woman from Ireland woke up in the middle of the night to find an intruder standing by her bed!
We had no complaints at all about Laguna Park 1 and would recommend it to all during this time of year.

| said: The Hotel was clean and tidy, but undergoing renovations at present. The hotel could be noisy at times with people coming in at all hours filled with the juice of life and empty heads. There was a security type person but he seemed ineffective as I never saw him away from reception.
The renovations did not detract from the holiday.
Maid service was good and staff were on the whole friendly. The location of the hotel in relation to pubs/clubs wasn't too bad, with the beach a short walk away. The entertainment was a lot better than the last time that we visited.
I would visit the hotel again.

First impressions were very good clean/tidy room (however it had been used by smokers as none smokers it smelt of stale smoke ). Also as the apts are beening painted there was scaffolding up around balcony but only for one day as the workmen moved on to next apts .
Pool was clean but cold (well its March )weather was excellent and bars near by are spot on try Eugines very good comic/compare and acts every night also give garfields a try very nice staff and food is ok .the waterpark is a must dont miss the dolphin shows .
In all would go back to Laguna Park 1 it should be very nice once the refurb is complete.

| said: Laguna Park 1 is ideal accomodation for groups and family's which caters adequately for both. As much as there was painting and repair work going on, this was maintained 'behind the scenes' and not spoiling the look of the hotel.
Actually, it is refreshing to know that hotel complexes such as Laguna Park 1 are maintained to a high standard especially moving in to a busier season. Staff were friendly and 'Ed' the Entertainment Manager made us feel welcome and put on some great shows in the evening.
My family and I will definitely consider Laguna Park 1 and surrounding Resort as top of our list to return to.

| said: When we arrived at the Laguna Park we were met by scaffolding and painters. We were not told prior to arriving about any works going on. When we got to our room it was covered in scaffolding and for 4 days we had Spanish men painting the balcony so could not use this.
There was no daytime entertainment on offers as the rep had gone on holiday. The night time entertainment was very poor. There were children's clubs which consisted of the kids sitting in a small hut and drawing for 2 hours. The airtours reps were there everyday but clearly did not want to be.
The rooms themselves were very basic but adequate, but you did have to hire a kettle and a toaster and pay 20 euros to watch the TV which was a waste of time. I was quite surprised when I arrived at the Laguna Park as most of the reviews I had read were quite good. Maybe because the weather was bad it put everyone on a downer.
I would not return to these apartment.

I would give it 100 %, Close by there are bars and restaurants serving good quality food at good prices.
Just across the road is O’Reilly's, which had, live bands playing every night the atmosphere was friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced.
This is a first class place and I would recommend it to anyone and would defiantly go back there.
The area's around the pool were clean and tidy and the pool itself was clean with clear blue water.

On arrival to the hotel, I was allocated a room with 20 steps leading up to it, not very good to say that I’m on crutches constantly and this is something that BOTH the hotel and Airtours were aware of.
We moved rooms 3 days later, to an apartment much nicer, bigger and one which had a lift directly outside the room.
3 days after been put in that room, we were broken into, We had gone out for something to eat and when we returned the hotel door was open, no damage to the door the lock still worked afterwards which means that the people responsible MUST have had a key. There is no other way that this could have happened. You need he key to open the door, never mind unlock it!
I reported this straight away to reception and Airtours. The hotels response was appalling. It took them 25 minutes to get 'security' to us. When the security guy came in, he just kept saying "impossible, impossible"
The receptionist wouldn’t allow us to change rooms nor would he change the locks in the apartment. We still had 10 days left of the holiday. I saw the reps the next day who weren’t much more helpful either. I felt that they thought I had set this up as an insurance job, but we had no intentions of claiming as the only thing taken was a £30 mobile phone (costs more in excess) everything else, stereo my wallet, my girlfriends purse etc. was put in a bag and left.
The room was only cleaned twice (two weeks holiday)
The location of the hotel is brilliant, Like us if you hated the hotel with a passion there is plenty of bars e.tc right outside.
The entertainment I cant comment on as we spent as little time there as possible.
Oh and the TV didn’t work correctly cost 35 euros for the two weeks and stopped working when the cloud set in! There was nothing staff at the hotel could do about that either!

Cleaning was done everyday in my apartment and the self service breakfast was rather tasty.
The hotel staff were brilliant especially Gabrielle the bar man as he was so great to my year old son who was walking everywhere making a nuisance to everyone.
Ed the entertainer was absolutely hysterical when you got to know him and his entertainment was for all ages including the young and old also the shows included everyone too.

| said: Hi just back from Laguna Park 1 stayed 2 weeks we had a great time.
It was very hot there, so we hired to small fans for to weeks only 15 eruos, the tv was 35eruoes for 2weeks.
There was a great place to eat around the corner just past the chemist outside the appartments called the ship the food is a must, the mixed grill, you get pork chop steak sausage 1/2 a chicken bacon chips or jacket potatoe with veg all for 6.95 eruoes was well worth it.
You have to supermarks next to the appartments, but if you walk a little way about five mins,there is a shopping center that has a big supermarket there it is cheaper than the other ones.
If you ever know of anyone going there and they have trouble walking then you can hire a wheel chair from the orange badge mobility shop in Los Christianos they also deliver, its about 60 euros for 12 days and the same in a deposit.
I would go back as it was great really miss it now I am home.
Go and see the dolphins it was fab also the medivel night is one you won't forget the drifters were playing at the end of the night it was fab.

Especially the Receptionist called Cef (Ceferino... he was a babe!!)We complained about the boiler in our apartment and were moved within an hour. The maids were in the room almost daily with clean towels, the apartments were kept clean and spotless. The entertainment could have started earlier however as we felt 11 pm was a tad late.

| said: Went for two weeks in July 2005. In all it was a great hotel, the bar snacks and drinks were reasonably priced, and the rooms spacious.
I never used the evening entertainment as we were more interested in going to the bars all over Tenerife every night, but it seemed good in the posters they put up everyday to say what was on that night.
The hotel kept it quiet at night and used a night watchman to keep drunken holiday makers quiet as they staggered in at all hours, (we should know as we were regularly told to shut up and go to our room by the security guard who patrolled, we actually got to know him a bit over the holiday, but our night time drunken dips in the pool were not taken lightly by him!) Don't worry, seriously nobody gets bothered as at night the whole apartment area is guarded and kept quiet.
The mini market that the hotel had was brill, seriously good! and was well stocked up with cheap booze and cigarettes. Also it had a good range of souvenirs and gifts which people will find reasonably priced.
Our room was great! it had comfortable beds and as we were on the top floor of the "two floor" block we could keep the apartment cool at night with the balcony door open, and no worry of theft.
And only seen one cockroach in hotel, which is amazing for Tenerife!

| said: Firstly, we had an apartment next to the fencing between the hotel and a lane. The lane came with it's very own flasher. We were disgusted as he turned up more than once and there were young children on the balcony above us.
When told, the hotel staff said there's nothing they could do. they didn't even send security the 1st time. they told us to call them (on the broken phone). The tour reps couldn't care less and said it happens all the time.
Secondly, our friends staying in the apartment next to us were robbed in the nigh - they had EVERYTHING stolen (it is impossible to fit all your clothes, shoes etc in te safe). The hotel didnt really seem to care that these people came back and robbed the people above us the next night.
We were constantly scared - being 4 young girls in an apartment in the night. especially when we knew security wouldn't arrive and when they did they selectively decided what english they can speak/understand.
The pool was clean, food was nice and the other hotel staff were friendly. the surroundings were lovely and i would like to go back to tenerife - just stay somewhere safer.

I asked for a high floor with a pool view and thats what i got. We also had a sea view. We stayed in block F. The rooms where clean and the maid service was excellent, they changed the towels every other day and also made sure that there was always toilet roll. Bedding was changed frequently too.
Yes there are steps getting from reception up to the main area for rooms but they have lifts in the main blocks. The pool is salt water but that did'nt make any difference to us.
It seems that we English are worse than the Germans when it comes to sunloungers,waiting by the pool at 8.30 when they are not unlocked till 9.00am. Airtours reps came round once and folded everyones towels up but that made no difference as everyone just came back down and put there towels back on the loungers. Believe me you will end up the same and be getting up at 9.00am and putting your towel on the loungers if you want to relax by the pool.
Never had any problems with cockroaches or any other bug. I bought mosquito plugs but never used them. Self catering facilities in our apartment were good. I used the grill in the oven to make toast, so i did'nt need to hire a toaster.

| said: Laguna Park 1 would suit most family types except for the hard of walking because of the flight of stairs from the ground level reception to the living areas. It was very clean, friendly and had only one draw back!!! Self catering facilities were very poor.
We had to eat out because of the lack of utensils? We had 4 plates, 4 cups, 3 forks, 4 knifes, 4 spoons, and 2 pots, no internal shelf inside the oven to lay food on, maybe that’s why no oven gloves were supplied. We complained to the Airtours rep and we had a spatula supplied but that was too big to fit inside one of the pots.
Entertainment was good and varied even throughout the day.

| said: We stayed in Laguna park 1 in june 2005. Reception is on the ground floor, along with the bar and childrens amusement arcade.
The apartments are up a flight of stairs which will bring you out to the pool area. As there is no lift, suitcases have to be carried up to the first floor then unless your room is on level 1, unfortunately, it's more steps to your room.
The hotel in general is very clean, the rooms are average. We were in a room where our balcony was overlooking the road, which was quite busy. Traffic noise at the time was not a problem as it was drowned out by the apartments across the road digging a swimming pool or something! Most mornings during our stay we were woken up by the delightful sound of an army of pneumatic drills.
There is a restaurant above reception which looked very nice. We never tried it as there were many places to eat along the main road under the apartments which were probably a bit cheaper. The only food we bought in the apartments, was from the poolside bar. The kids enjoyed pizza and chips or a toasted cheese sandwhich during the day alongside the pool. The food here was reasonably priced.
The apartments were in a good position, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The beach was about 15 minutes away, walking at a leisurely pace. The only drawback with Laguna park 1's location, was that it was on the main road.
The hotel staff were pleasent enough, the maids changed the bedding and towels about every 2 days or so. They didn't seem to like leaving toilet rolls behind if there was more than a few sheets on a roll. So before they came, we would hide whatever we had, so that they would leave more. It worked!
The entertainment was very good. In the day time around the pool there would be games for the kids, Water polo and pool competitions for the adults. In the evening the apartment entertainers would run quizzes, competitions, Bingo and Karaoke. We'll never forget Lance singing 'Bad moon rising', He sang it every night - but he did sing it well!
We had a great time in Laguna Park 1, We would definately go back, but maybe choose a room away from the road.

I couldn't fault the hotel at all the only things I would say to reccommend when you are booking the holiday is to ask to request a high floor if possible as sometimes the noise from the people above was too much.
I would reccommend this hotel for every type of person as there is lots to do and every where was easy to access.

The apartment was spotless and the maids great at their job room cleaned every day except Sunday
The pool was always clean
Ate in the hotel restaurant a few times food was great but slightly expensive as there is that much competition outside the prices elsewhere are hard to beat
Reception staff great always welcoming you with a smile
And now the best part of the holiday
The entertainment aka Big Ed
6ft 7 in of a man but let me tell you never a more friendlier being have I met in my life he could even be a Derry man
Every night he was entertaining in the hotel and when this finished about 1-30am everybody that was left all headed out together, Ed included. One night Veronica's next the Patch a drink or two in the Irish bars and a version or two of the Irish Rover, remember big man have you ever seen an 18 stone man and a 6 foot 7 inch head case do the River Dance
Folks if I ever go back to Tenerife I will be staying at the Laguna park1 and if you are ever going I recommend you stay there too.

| said: I stayed at Laguna Park 1 with my wife, son (22) and daugther (19) and 2 of their friends, we all enjoy Las Americas but sadly the hotel let us down.
If you decide to book this hotel, do not go half board, we did and it was a mistake, the food choice is very limited and very poor. We gave up after 2 days and ate out.
There are many good restuarants just out side the hotel and the food quality is much better and quite cheap.
The hotel and rooms are very basic but clean, nice big pool, and no problem getting a sunbed.
Hotel staff, when we needed them were always very helpful but the entertainment I found poor so we went out every night. There are plenty of bars just outside the hotel which open till early morning, but for the real nightlife it's about 15 mins walk into the heart of Playa.
I will go back to Las Americas but not to this hotel it does not deserve 3 Stars

| said: Me my husband and 8 year old daughter had read bad reviews about this hotel, we were very apprehensive about our holiday.
It turned out we were pleasantly suprised. Okay so we could have done with a new bath, everything else was great. No fighting for sunlounges and this was a good thing......we didnt get in bed until late with great thanks to the Irish Rover the entertainment was excellent, big hello to Yvonne from michelle andy and katie if you visit please.
The location is five minutes from the beach straight ahead, the aqua park five minutes to the left, and a shopping complex five minutes to he right. Pool was lovely, nice food at pool bar. loads of restaurants and bars on your doorstop, hotel entertainment needs a little bit of working on.....will be most definitley going april next year, by the way good weather to add.

| said: As we arrived in our apartment on the third floor we found the bathroom ceiling had partly fallen in. There was paint and plaster covering the bath and the tiled floor. But the reception staff accepted it as their fault and moved us in no less than five minutes to a room on the fourth floor which I was glad to find had no caved in bathroom.
There were no blankets or pillows for the sofa bed but we knew it was because the room hadn't been prepared for anyone. Naturally we went down to reception and they handed over what we needed.
The maids came everyday except Sunday. Sometimes we found the floor still had dirt on it, and this meant we had to clean our feet a lot or constantly wear shoes which isn't comfy in the warm environment. The maids always cleaned everything else while we stayed there, including balcony, beds, bins etc.
In all the staff were fairly helpful and always seemed friendly and willing to help.
We didn't have to rent our toaster, but like I said, the room wasn't prepared for anyone. When we filled the kettle with water the contents foamed and frothed up as if someone had put shampoo in it to wash their hair, so we didn't use it incase it poisoned us.
We never visited the bar for entertainment, we usually entertained ourselves, going to the many restaurants, looking at shops or strolling on the beach.
Never tried the hotel food either. The prices at the pool bar were decent.
The location is fine. Walk down the path next to O'Reillys and cross the road and down a few steps and you’re on the path next to the beach! It literally takes around 8 minutes.
I would visit this hotel again, and would like a high room like we had this time. As from our balcony you could see the sea, the harbour (Puerto Colon), the resort pool & bar area to keep an eye on the young ones if they ventured out and a lot of Playa De Las Americas.

| said: The Hotel was in a great position within the resort with plenty of pubs and restaurants close by.
While my wife and I went out most of the time our children (15 and 13) stayed at the hotel most of the time. Ed the entertainer was excellent and the children enjoyed the entertainment in the evening.
The hotel was pretty clean but the rooms are looking a bit tired and in need of upgrading.
The area that the hotel is in has been improved since we were last there and is very nice, however one or two of the other parts of Las Americas were a bit untidy.

Everywhere got cleaned well, if you take children they are well entertained we didnt so we went out alot there are great places to eat just outside the apartments great value too.

A fair amount of road noise but didn't bother us too much although I suspect it would some.Pool area nice and clean and no problem with obtaining a lounger(but it was January).
Now on to the food,it was lukewarm,not much variety,we were half board and once was enough for us.
However I would stay there again but on a self catering bases.

| said: We stayed at the Laguna Park 1 in January after deciding we needed a break after a hectic Christmas and previously staying there and enjoying our time.
The food was acceptable and there was a variety of meat and fish every night and the soup also changed every night. Although the food was basic, chips salad meat rice, we all ate it.
The hotel itself was very clean and the maids visited every day during our stay. The area around the hotel was also well kept.
The Laguna Park 1 is situated on the top road of the resort on a slight hill but nothing to worry about. The beach was down a few steps and across the road and the bustling resort centre was all within walking distance. Lots of irish bars were located close by which we had a bit of fun in!
Hotel staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was fun and happy. They enjoyed the odd practical joke but kept safe and fun surroundings.
The hotel entertainment was alright, although there wasn't any on a friday. There were quizzes and bingo every night, followed by a show eg snakes, parrots hypnotists. But all seemed disorganised and there were too many children rnning about. There was a games room with a few machines and an underwater view of the pool.
Poolside there was a couple of pool tables and table tennis sets and throughout the day there were many pool activities organised and the occasional trip out .
The pool was quite large and the pool bar served all day. There was also a lot of sun terrace room for sunbathing and tennis courts.
I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a fun holiday !!!

| said: Hi, Dad and me, and my Mum stayed in this hotel over Christmas and New Year.
It was a good holiday and the room was ok. The maids came in every day except Thursday and Sunday. Although they only left 2 big towels and 2 little towels we needed 3 really. The bed was not that comfortable.
It was very noisy as we were above bars and restaurants that had music playing till 3-4 o’clock in the morning. We spent every day at the beach but I must complain that there was a lot of hair braiding ladies pestering you if you wanted your hair braiding this got on your nerves!
I would recommend the Manhattan bar this was good for football and in the evening it had soul and cabaret this is by the beach and about 15mins walk this is situated under and Escalator on the bottom floor. The entertainment in the hotel was not all that good.
I would not recommend this hotel.

| said: Visited this hotel for Christmas, it was OK but rather noisy. We were put of by the number of kids running round in the club as well as all hours of the night.
The maids came almost every day but I had to strip the beds and do them myself as they never touched the bottom sheet
The staff were friendly and helpful.
This would be an ideal hotel if you have small children.

| said: We found these apartments were perfect for our holiday to Tenerife. This was the fifth time we have stayed in these apartments and find them excellent.
The hotel itself is a very clean hotel, with cleaning going on everyday. The rooms are basic but have everything including fridge/freezer, kettle, oven and grill. The rooms are cleaned everyday apart from a Thursday and Sunday and sheets changed 2-3 times a week.
The location is excellent, a 5 minute walk from bars and restaurants and the local San Eungnio shopping centre.
Just across the road is a pizza shop and an English chip shop!
The staff are excellent and very polite and also speak very good English. We found the entertainment here not great, so we ventured elsewhere in the evenings!
We shall be going back to these apartments in April and October for 2 weeks.
